"The fifth generation, embodied by the owners’ daughter and her husband, is continuing the family saga. The chef signs traditional recipes that call upon fine local produce – caillette (pâté), Vercors trout and a dessert based on Grenoble walnuts and green Chartreuse. The flavoursome food is served in a bright, contemporary interior with an Alpine twist." - Michelin Inspector

5 Weekend Getaways From Paris—All Within France - AFAR

"A five‑room, 18th‑century villa in the town center that feels like staying with a well‑heeled friend, complete with a resident golden retriever named Tilia and homemade chouquette pastries; rooms are sunlit and comfortably styled (some with claw‑foot tubs and garden‑overlooking balconies), and the property offers communal amenities such as an attic yoga room and a basement screening room." - Sara Lieberman

Les Tilleuls (Etretat, Normandy) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Claude Monet was so entranced by the interplay of light and shadow around the alabaster cliffs at Étretat, a village on France’s northern coast, that he tried to capture it in twenty different paintings. If you’re staying at Les Tilleuls Étretat, a luxury hotel that’s just a short walk away, you’ll have the chance to view the dramatic scenery at sunrise, sunset, and anytime in between. The 18th-century mansion exudes old-world elegance, surrounded with leafy gardens and featuring a handful of quiet suites with original oil paintings, antique oak furniture, parquet floors, toile prints, and spacious walk-in showers. Some have clawfoot tubs and several open directly onto a sunny terrace; the largest suite has a living room furnished with Chesterfield sofas. There’s a small cinema for watching French films while sipping wine from the hotel’s 900-bottle cellar. Or ask the include a bottle in a gourmet picnic basket, packed for day trips on request." - Tablet Hotels

Very nice restaurant located in a residential area of Geneva. Pleasant terrace with numerous outdoor seatings and great service. Good choice of dishes and drinks and interesting suggestions by the chef.

It's a very popular spot with a lovely terrace. The service is excellent and the food is great and the portions quite generous, very unlike what you will find in Geneva restaurants. The penne crab was highly recommended and we ordered it but it was ok. What we enjoyed was the Perche (fish) and the veal was very tasty as was the mixed salad. For dessert we had the Strawberry tiramisu which was delicious - creamy and melts in the mouth. The attention to service is exceptional. If you order to take away you get a 20% discount - another great idea as the place is always full!

It's good but expensive. It's true there is a very nice terrazza and you have a nice time with friends enjoying a very good meal. But CHF 45 for a main course is expensive even for Geneva. Food is good tho, so four stars is deserved.

The food is good and the atmosphere in summer outside is lovely. Only 2 remarks: - A bit pricey, giving you really a few cheap choices of pizza for example, and mostly expensive "special" one. - Been there many times and no matter how much we consume we never got a free limoncello, while witnessing all the tables around getting one. I know it's a gift, but I feel that you should either give it to everybody or nobody, and not sampling only few random clients making feel the other maybe not welcome or not "worth it".

Google
One of the best choices for this area of Geneva. Wide menu selection with several pasta, pizza and meat/fish choices. Good quality and savory food. Generally very generous in terms of portions and ingredients. Fair prices (~26 chf for a pizza) One little note: I had to drink a lot of water the night after my pizza capricciosa, but that is probably due to the fact that it is a pizza very rich in ingredients (likely salty ingredients). Service was very friendly.

Good location, easy access. Not the highest quality in town. Good pizza, nothing special, mine, not well done. Pricey considering what I got (the 9.90 home made pizza from my area is honestly way better) wrapping up with the flavourless desert, ice cream topped with whipped cream light in flavour. The place is really well taken care of, nice ambience, so I suppose I'll have to come back to taste a different dish next time.

Yelp
Delicious food, friendly staff and a nice atmosphere (especially on the terrace outside) make this an easy recommendation to anyone who wants to enjoy some delicious italian cuisine. The pasta dishes are huge and the selection is quite large. I haven't tried the pizzas (yet) but they also look good! Price-wise, not the cheapest italian restaurant in Geneva, but the quality of the food and size of portions make up for it!

Yelp
You can't go wrong coming here... I love this place. Great food. Very decent prices (for Geneva). Extensive wine list. Really friendly and charming service. Kid friendly. Crowded and energetic, without being chaos. Lovely outdoor seating in the spring/summer. I'd give Les Tilleuls 5 stars, but try to save that for truly mind-blowing places. This place is a solid, great place that you'll want to come to often.

Yelp
Really good Italian restaurant in Geneva! I'm not giving it five stars because I know better Italian restaurants in Italy, but really it's good for what it offers. Very large portions (you can easily split a small appetizer and you won't be able to finish the main course most likely) for a fair price, but not cheap (a glass of wine, a shared appetizer, and a main pizza or pasta dish will cost you about 45 CHF). We have had the antipasti platter, a big salad, carpaccio as well as various pizza and pasta dishes. Also, the tiramisu was good, and really quite large too.... I'd recommend going there in the summer, as you can sit outside in a large pedestrian street sitting under trees. Also, reservations are necessary if you want to go on a Friday/Saturday, and I think they are closed on Mondays but not sure. The restaurant is in the St Jean neighborhood of Geneva (a neighborhood I like a lot) but it might be a bit inconvenient to get there from downtown -- public transportation can take you there.
