L'Escapade Marseillaise, restaurant centre ville, terrasse au calme

Not really a fan of the front door design, it really makes me and the group hesitated to go in. There was a sign asking you to go in directly, which makes the arrival experience more skeptical. Fortunately, the waitor is very friendly and speaks a little bit English too (sorry, we don't speak French). The 5 courses menu is not outstanding, but acceptable given the price. There are only 6 customers (4 was our group) for entire evening. From a cost effectiveness perspective, I will give 5 stars ... I do think the front door design with the logo looks like Western Union transfer service. With some broken lights of the menu lightbox, the vibe really "scared" potential customers to see this restaurant as a trap... I really hope a little bit of front door redesign and some social media campaign can revitalise this restaurant.

i don’t understand how this restaurant was on the michelin guide. the atmosphere is terrible with very bright lighting. every food had the same ingredients mixed and matched differently. we could smell the cook frying the food from our table. my duck was raw. there’s was watercress as decoration in every plate - even the dessert! the food was mediocre. tasted like airplane food. the duck had canned tomato as the sauce and no taste. very disappointed! *edit! cause i can’t reply to the reply of the restaurant: yeah i couldn’t taste the difference between your watercress and others because there was no taste. maybe it wasn’t canned tomatoes but tasted like it. i did specify that i wanted medium rare and received a raw duck. I just shared here my opinion and experience in your restaurant to help people not make the same mistake i did going there. sorry if that bothered you.

I liked the place and I enjoyed the meals. I didn't like the deserts, but they where good. I eat a starter, a main course and a desert with 40€. They offer you some free appetizers 😁

Very nice resturaunt .. The food was delicious fresh products.. Ambience and service was great 👌👌👌👌if you appreciate good food good ambience served with a smile I highly recommend it
