I love Leslie’s huge variety of foods and goods! I came in to find Tamarindo straws for an event. ¡Me encanta el ambiente! Definitely coming back for more shopping and lunch.

The tamales are amazing!! Their selection of pastries is huge. What we tried has been exceptional. Cookies are great as well. We will gladly drive from Mountain Home to Springfield to get our goodies to bring back home.🧡🦋

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. This is the best Mexican food I've had in Springfield!! Staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. The food at the restaurant is incredible! I had the pollo sopes, the chicken was so flavorful, tender, and moist. I got a side of guacamole that was the FRESHEST and most delicious I've ever eaten. The spicy salsa has a fantastic level of spice with so much flavor. Hubby got the birria tacos which were unlike any we've ever had before. The consume was thick and flavorful, the tacos were so meaty, cheesy, and perfectly coated in flavor. We got a couple of tamales, they were not the best we've ever had, but still delicious. They were a little dry, but still so flavorful. We have barely finished our meal, but we can't wait to go back again!

A very busy Mexican market but it has so much! We Love getting their pan dulce. They have a large selection! The meat section is a little smaller but the seasoned meat is amazing! Great to take home and grill.

DO NOT GO HERE AT NIGHT! Not one employee could help me because no one spoke English. Parking lot full of men hanging around in their trucks. As much as I wanted to love this place because it does have pretty much everything you need, I just can't see myself going back AT ALL!

Super disappointed. Ordered a cake before my event in advance. Placed our order via phone with the details like what kind, how big ect. Went to pick it up the order and they had nothing ready. Couldn't even find the order. The person looking for the cake mentioned this is an on going issue where they lose the orders all the time. This left me in a bad situation trying to find a cake last minute for the party. Surprised that if this kind of issue occurs regularly, why wouldn't there be some changes for a better process?

Yelp
Finally got to try this place and it's pretty good. They have tons of prepared/hot/ ready to go (to go) items to choose from. Or, you can order from the menu and dine in. Place has a full blown (big) Hispanic store as well. One good sign about this place: there is always tons of Hispanics choosing this place for their lunch or dinner spot.

Yelp
Just step through the front doors and you feel like you have been transported out of Springfield. It has every spice, salsa, Mexican ingredient that you would want. A wonderful bakery, deli , and restaurant. I got fresh tortillas that were still warm, both flower and corn. The best pic I have had in a long time a little spicy, but excellent! This is definitely a regular for us .

Yelp
Restaurant part has delicious carnitas and great service The grocery side has rude help and flour tortillas that usually have mold on them in 48 hours or less Corn tortillas are very good when fresh Red salsa is good.

Yelp
This was a word of mouth recommendation on this establishment. Upon walking into the store I could smell the aroma of the baked goods (pan dulce). Moving further back I could smell the carne asada and chili. I shopped in the store and bought homemade corn tortillas. We loaded the car and returned for tacos and flautas. This place is for the authentic Mexican food flavor and bakery. Service was exceptional with Spanish and English spoken . You will clean up after yourself at the table but it's well worth it to experience the traditional flavors I've been missing since arriving in Missouri.

Yelp
This little store doesn't deserve the bad reviews it has. This was the only Mexican market I could find in Springfield (at least by yelp search). I'm from Northern California and was missing my Mexican food, so I came here to get some carne asada for homemade tacos. This was a very typical market that I'm used to seeing, with a pastry section, small produce area, and meat counter. There's a small restaurant on one side as well. Some of the employees don't speak English, but so what? get over yourselves. Although I only know a few words in Spanish, the lady at the meat counter was still very friendly and understood what I was trying to buy. I'll be coming back in the future!

Yelp
When you walk in the front door the wonderful aromas hit you from the kitchen. They have a great size bakery, diner that had the best mexican food. Steamline w various cooked meats gor carryout including at least 4 different types of tamales. Butcher for cooking your own that also has seafood (octopus & whole fish) plus a huge produce section. I will be starting to not only come here to eat onsite but also grocery shop here. Awesome place!

Yelp
Husband and I are from southern Cali and this place reminds us of home. We come all the time for food, breakfast pastries and everyday essentials

Yelp
Authentic and super delicious. Food that is full of flavor. There are options for those who are open to trying new things and they also have some items that are more American/Mexican favorites.

Yelp
This place, absolutely, doesn't deserve the negativity. Whining about the price you were given from an employee of a completely different store being wrong, or the place being too small and posting negative reviews is just silly. Leslie's is a fantastic hidden gem in Springfield. Don't hesitate to support them. I don't.

Yelp
Drove a long way to visit this market. We had a huge Mexican market in Arizona, we always bought fresh tortillas, fresh vegetables and pastries. Well this little store was not as we had hoped. Lots of candy and baked goods but not much else. No one asked to help us although did see employees not busy. A huge disappointment for sure. Still hoping to find a bigger market or will have to travel a whole lot farther than Springfield. The cashier did not speak very much English so if you don't speak Spanish she can't help you!

Yelp
Amazing, huge selection, organized with prices on shelves throughout the store, and all the spices to make our recipes. Fresh produce, meats, tortillas, tamales and much more, made our trip very successful in finding everything we needed at competitive prices. Highly recommend!

Yelp
No transparency as far as prices. I was referred to this store by a woman I met at Price Cutter. She told me they had low prices on produce, especially avocados, very large ones. She basically said they had large avocados for around $1.00 each, or around that price. However, when I got there, I did not see very much produce that was marked with prices and there were no avocados. When I asked if they had any left, a woman went to the back of the market and brought out two large ones. When I asked how much they were, she said she didn't know. This was two days after I was quoted a $1.00 or so from the woman at Price Cutter. The items on the shelf, such as canned goods, were more expensive than those you could find at Price Cutter and other local stores, and some were not even marked with prices. When I got to check out, I found out that the avocados were $3.00 each! What a huge increase from a day or two ago. The whole reason I had gone to the store was to purchase avocados. I thought this was a very high increase in price for avocados from a day or two before. And, to be quite honest, avocados were cheaper at Price Cutter! The trip was a total waste of my time and money. You might be interested in their cooked Mexican cuisine, but be wary of their prices!
