Quality of ingredients is great and we’re all pretty tasty pizza There’s not a ton of variation or non-prosciutto options, unfortunately . I also prefer my thin, sliced pizzas to be a little bit crispy on the bottom and these ones tend to be soft so some ingredients will a slide off the pizza. But if you tend to like softer bottom crust and really love prosciutto this is the right place!

Heard so much of Levante and definitely did not disappoint. Great appetizers, better pizzas and next level cocktails. Beautiful spacious interior accented with 30’ ceiling. Choice of backyard dining when weather permits. Staff is very courteous and bartenders are very knowledgeable. I’ve nothing but praise for Levante.

Went to Levante in Long Island City—overall a mixed experience. The calamari was underwhelming, lacking flavor, and the aioli that came with it was thin and didn’t really add much. On the other hand, the pizza had a great crust and the wood-fired oven definitely gave it a nice depth, but the sauce was way too salty for my taste. The branzino with potatoes was delicious—cooked perfectly—but I do wish it had a more visually appealing presentation. The space itself is beautifully done, with a really nice build-out and comfortable outdoor seating. The staff was friendly and very attentive, which definitely made the experience better.

pizza here was good but nothing too special. thought it was a lil pricey for what it was. the decor and vibe of this place is nice though!

The pizza here is really good, the dough is perfectly chewy yet light, with great flavor and texture. Definitely a highlight. Unfortunately, the pasta carbonara was a total miss. It lacked flavor and didn’t come together well. I wouldn’t recommend it. If you visit, stick to the pizzas — that’s clearly their strong suit.

It’s like what many reviewers have said: the pasta is just ok. But the pizzas are great. The branzino entree was great. The drinks were great. The meatball appetizer and the fried calamari and shrimps were great. The chicken milanese entree was dry, though. This was the second time there. I remember the last time was even better.

Lovely food, mid service. We came with a cake, which they were kind enough to bring out and cut with a cake fee. Our food was wonderful, pizza is amazing and the pasta was good too. Drinks are also very good. Only downside was the service. Through our 1hr seating, they switched our waiter 4 times, each time dealing with a new person. We asked for the bill 3 times and waited 15 minutes and they never came. Wish they had a better system for these things. With the good food, its a shame that the service would be the downfall

I was incredibly impressed by the food, service and speed of Levante. I was in NYC for about three months for work, and this was the first pizza I had there where I really enjoyed it over most pizzas I have eaten. I would highly recommend coming here. We went three times. The first time we ate on the back patio, and the two other times we ordered take away. Their pizza is great, their wine selection is good and their desserts are really yummy. I cannot recommend them enough!

This place is great for wood-fire cooked pizza! They also have a great selection of wines and a good stock at the bar. We ordered 2 pizzas and a pasta. Pasta could have been a bit bigger in portions for the price, but the pizza is why we came. Levante pizza with the truffles and a classic Diavola pizza with the pepperoni. They do have a spicy oil which we thought at first was hot honey. Be careful if you can't handle spicy. Levante pizza was really good especially if you like truffle. For us it was good for 1 person but could be shared for 2 people if you got other stuff.

Solid option for Italian food in LIC. Usually not hard to get a reservation or walk in either. Based on what we tried, the pizzas are worth ordering! Recommend: Levante pizza

Levante is one of those local spots I've walked past many times, so my boyfriend and I were eager to find a night we could eat here! We walked in on a Wednesday early evening. There were very few diners, but as we were thirty minutes into the meal, the restaurant filled up quickly! As my boyfriend and I were a walk-in party of 2, we got a small table where one of the seats was sectioned-off part of the larger bench lining the wall. (We also had the option to eat at the bar counter.) The table happened to fit the three dishes we ordered, but couldn't possibly fit anything more. The decor was really nice, and the bar itself is quite swanky with the lighting of the backwalls to showcase the wine collection, but the dining space was pretty small. The food was really great, and I thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. We ordered the Ruchetta salad, Spaghettoni (pasta dish), and the Levante (Neapolitan pizza). The salad was a big portion! Spaghettoni was small portion but given the richness of the sauce and guanciale, it was plenty! My favorite was the pizza we ordered, which had mozzarella, mushrooms, truffle paté, prosciutto, and burrata. Such great flavors! Very classic Neopolitan style, where the dough is very thin in the middle (so you can pick it up with your hands but probably better to use fork and knife), and the crust is perfection; the restaurant has a wood-burning oven in the back. I'd come back for a date night! It doesn't hurt to make a reservation to secure one of the nicer seating options!

Came by for a weekday lunch recently - I've been meaning to give Levante a try for nearly a year now and was very excited to have the chance to take advantage of their lunch menu haha. My friend and I showed up around 1pm - it was pretty empty inside (maybe 1 or 2 other tables), but their back patio was more bustling (nice weather that day). We ordered the Ragu' pasta and the Francesco pizza to share. The pasta was so delicious! The rigatoni was cooked so nicely (al dente, as I like), and the sauce was so rich and flavourful. The pork was delicious, and so too were the meatballs, albeit a bit salty. The Francesco pizza was very interesting but also quite yummy - it has a pesto-based sauce (instead of a tomato base), which I don't think I've ever tried before with pizza. The mozzarella was very yummy - its lightness complemented the pesto flavour well - but the parmesan was not very perceptible. The dough at the bottom was a bit soggy for my taste (a bit hard to cut/eat also), and the crust was kind of bland. The complimentary bread was decent - good to whet our appetites a little bit but nothing too notable otherwise. Price point was not bad; portion sizes were very generous and we ended up packing up a little bit of leftovers. Overall it was a good experience, and I'd love to come back to try some of their many other pizza and pasta options.

Stopped by for a quick bite before hitting a brewery and food was delicious. If you like airy thin crusted pizza, this is your kind of place. It was easy to get seats inside on a Saturday afternoon/brunch time. They have an outdoor patio which seemed busier especially since the weather has been gorgeous recently. We got two pizzas pies and both were great. We enjoyed the truffle wild mushroom prosciutto one a little bit more than the one with parm, prosciutto and arugula only because it had a bit more complexity. The only complaint I have is the plates are rounded....which makes it hard to put down utensils without them sliding every which way. Minor thing but something that annoyed me. Service was fine otherwise.

2.5/5 I really want to love this place because the location is close to me, the atmosphere is perfect, and the service is lovely. But unfortunately I just do not love the food and what you get for the price point. Levante is a really nice place for dates as the lighting is dim, the noise level is quiet and overall just feels very intimate. I came here with some friends for a quick Saturday night dinner. We did not need a reservation and were seated promptly. We ordered calamari as a starter to share which was just okay--they included fried chickpeas which was interesting but I felt they skimped on the actual calamari. I got the trofie and was quite disappointed with this, it just wasn't giving that fresh basil taste for me! All I could taste was the pine nuts. My friends' dishes were a bit better--they ordered the donato pizza and the rigatoni. They gave us a chili oil that was quite delicious and really enhanced the food. I'm willing to give this place another shot, maybe I'm just not getting the right items? But for the price point I would definitely expect more.

This is a solid romantic Italian dinner place in the middle of LIC! The food is good, the service is quick and polite, but the main draw here is the ambiance -- candlelit, the pizza oven crackling in the corner, the bottles and glasses behind the bar glint in varied colors, and conversations hum along from each table.

Ordered the arancini and one of the truffle pizzas (sorry forgot exact name) -- both were really good!! The ambience of the restaurant is also so cute, through it is a bit crowded and loud. I loved the open front of the restaurant. Service was good too.

Stopped in for a glass of wine, and they charged me $3 for a glass of room temperature still tap water on top of that. What the hell.

I got the levante pizza and it was delicious. I love the truffles and meat. It was a very sweet pizza. The crust was incredible. I would rip it off and dip it in the olive oil like a starter. I was hungry and finished the whole pie. We got to sit in the back room. Service was kind. Lots of water to drink. Good music. Nice ambience lighting. The greeter at the door was super kind to me and smiled a lot. My pizza was $25.

We love very close to Levante and just now decided to pop in for lunch. The inside was very clean, rustic, and minimalist vibe with a neopolitan stone oven in the back. They start by giving complimentary bread with chili oil. We got the carbonara and LIC pizza and they were both incredibly flavorful! It was an insane carbonara rich with egg yolk and pecorino - perfect consistency. The LIC pizza tasted so yummy with the ricotta and rich truffle pate. This place is very much more on the expensive side, but the pasta and pizza we got were delicious.

Great place, the pizza is amazing (fire wood) and the ambiance is perfect for a weeknight wine, Friday happy hour, or a fun outing with friends/family on the weekend. Great customer service as well from the hosts, wait staff, and bartenders. One of my favorite spots in LIC.

This place looks small but inside is actually very spacious. Great Italian/American spot for amazing oven roasted pizza. We had the Levante pizza with mushrooms, truffle pate, prosciutto, and burrata which was to die for. Even had the diavola with cheese and spicy salami which was also a hit. For the main we had the tagitalle with cuttlefish which was perfectly seasoned. Felt like I was back in Europe. As the side, we ordered seared eggplant. Dessert, we topped with with Nutella zepelle. Happy hours are 4-6.

During the summer, the backyard patio is a delightful spot to enjoy a meal. Highly recommend Levante for anyone seeking a fantastic Italian dining experience in queens.

I love Levante! I've been here a couple of times when I'm craving a wood fired pizza, and this place never disappoints. I've had a few of the pizzas, apps (burrata and calamari), and salads. I highly recommend bringing guests here if you're in the area or a friend to meet if you're local. The service is always great and the ambiance is fun. It almost transports you as if you're in a cozy industrial loft or another country eating fresh, tasty foods!

I came here on a Sunday night for an early birthday celebration since my birthday would be mid-week. I had been to Levante a few times prior, but this visit was a bit disappointing and probably my last visit. We started our meal with some drinks and appetizers. The spritzes we had were fairly standard and nothing special. We had the arancini and burrata as our appetizers - both of these were quite delicious. The main course is where our meal really fell short of what we expected. We shared two pizzas and a pasta. The Levante pizza sounded good on paper, but in reality, had way too much going on and the flavors were all over the place. The Aglietta pizza was alright but also felt overpriced for the quality. For a $24 12-inch pizza, you'd expect something a bit more special. The Rigatoni was subpar and really lacked in any depth of flavor. It really just tasted like canned tomato sauce over pasta with microwaved meatballs - something we can easily make at home. We decided to opt out of dessert after a disappointing main course. The service was fine, but we were definitely a bit disappointed that the restaurant doesn't do anything special for birthday meals.

1. Cavatelli ($26) This is a lot more flavorful than it looks. I really appreciate the small minced size seafood that isn't over cooked. 2. Rigatoni ($25) I don't eat beef so idk but my friends enjoyed it. 3. Polpo ($23) Unfortunately am not a fan of this dish. NOT that it's bad but it was super overpriced. For $23, the portion is really small. 4. Branzino ($31) Very well executed. Crispy skin, tender meat. The bed of caponata it was served in was good too. Overall, will be back for their pizza! Definitely want to try those. Very good vibes for date night too.

The two stars are because I've dined in several times and it was good. I've recommended this place to friends who have enjoyed it as well. This time I ordered delivery, a pizza and broccoli rabe. It is the only thing I ate since breakfast. The cheese or sauce from the pizza must not have been fresh because I had an upset stomach most of the night. Please check your ingredients and make sure they are stored properly or not old! This was a horrible experience.

When I walked up to Levante, I wasn't expecting much from the small exterior. But boy, was I in for a treat when I stepped inside! The place is way more spacious than it looks, and the bar area is just beautiful. Plus, the smell of the food had me drooling right away. I ordered a few things off the menu, and honestly, everything was great. The Levante pizza, in particular, was a total standout. The crust was crispy and the toppings were super tasty. Unfortunately, the squid ink pasta didn't do it for me - it had a bit too much of a fishy taste. But I'm not giving up on their pasta just yet - there are still plenty of other dishes I want to try!

Lovely Ambiance. It feels like we are back in time in New York. And great music , making me feel relaxed Food - We ordered pizza and loved it!! I believe it was New York style pizza with thin crust ( not crunchy but soft) with hard borders. The best part was fresh Ingredients, cooked perfectly ! Absolutely loved it Service was also great. Visiting from Bay Area, I was so pleasantly surprised at service . Haven't seen search great service there. Very friendly and prompt staff

Overall, an ambient restaurant but subpar food! Food: the menu is filled with a selection of pastas and pizzas. I came here on a Saturday afternoon and they were serving from the brunch menu! I generally tend to prefer the lunch/ dinner menus becuase they have more options. The brunch menu still had a variety of pastas and pizzas to choose from with some brunch staples like pancakes, toast, etc. we went with the gnocchi and cheese and carbonara! I thought both lacked flavor. The gnocchi was very cheesy but tasted like bland Mac and cheese. But they do give bread before the meal and that was delicious! Ambience: I loved the ambience of the restaurant! It had a very romantic feel! There is a bar, which would be a nice place to grab drinks or eat a meal! It is very spacious Price: I thought it was pricy - expect to pay upwards of $30 for a dish! Service: good service

Food was great, and I really wanted to like this place when I picked it. My 1 star is only for the waitress who did not seem to care and was in general unpleasant. I wanted to tip her less but there is no option for less than 20%. This is my first visit and probably will be my last.

I was lucky enough to be treated to a birthday lunch here today! The interiors had a classy Italian vibe to go with the great food. We ordered a gluten-free pizza and salad to share. The service was as excellent as the food. Thank you!

Chill spot to visit after work for some pizza and drinks. Great outdoor seating. Nothing special about the food but it was good. Waitress was on point and filled our empty glasses quite often. Would like to return to try the other pizzas.

Came here for a Friday night dinner, made a reservation about 2-3 days prior without trouble. Our reservation was at 7:45p and we arrived at around 7p and they seated us immediately, we appreciated the flexibility! Overall it was a nice and quiet environment in the back of the restaurant and more noisy in the front. We got the prosciutto and figs pizza, it tasted amazing! We have gotten the truffle pizza some time before too and both taste so good! This place is really known for their pizza! I also got the squid ink pasta and tasted much better than anticipated! Very flavorful and filled with seafood, very yummy. My husband got the shredded pork gnocchi and I think it would have been better if there was a more flavorful sauce on it. Their wine tasted great and the gelato also tasted amazing! Our server was efficient and nice. Like all LIC restaurants, it's a bit on the pricy side, but overall a very nice Italian restaurant!

My significant other and I love this place. We've been coming for years and each time we come, we enjoy the food and drinks. Our personal favorite is the levante pizza!

I had been this place twice. I was attracted by its nice decorations. Once I entered this place, I enjoy the vibe of it. The outdoor patio was nice and relaxing too. It is a great place for hang out or date night. Food are great. We ordered pizza and a pasta dish. The pizza toppings combination are well-designed and the crust has a good texture. The pasta was al dante. It becomes my go-to place in the area.

I came here after a long day at work. I've passed by this place many times and finally decided to try it. From the outside it looks small but the inside is a nice size. They have a large bar and a few tables. It has a nice ambiance too. In warmer weather, they have the doors open to give that "open air" feel. I ordered the Rucolo pizza to go. It comes with mozzarella, prosciutto, arugula and Parmesan cheese. It took about 10-15min. I paid $27 (with tax) and it was a 12-inch pie. While it was a really delicious pizza with fluffy crust, I do feel that the price was a little too high. It understand that it's a specialty pizza but i could have been a little bigger for the price. I didn't try the other items on the menu. I would come back here if I want to get a special pizza.

Wow. That's all I gotta say. I work locally twice a week and always heard great things about Levante. Hands down one of the best restaurants I've even been to. If you're visiting LIC eat there if you live there you're damn lucky to have a local eatery as good as this. What a place. Impeccable service , accommodating and delicious food. The perfect trifecta. Can't wait to go back again.

Great hangout spot to catch up with friends over fresh and delicious foods! My friends and I sat in the backyard garden for the night, which has cozy and warm lights hanging around the back. Our waiter was very nice and attentive, making sure to take our order and check in on us appropriately. We ordered two 12" pizzas (vegetarian and meat), fingerling potatoes burrata, and three desserts to share among five girls -- was the perfect amount honestly! The pizzas were both crispy and chewy simultaneously, the ingredients were fresh and I especially loved the roasted whole garlics on the Aglietta pizza topped with fresh basil leaves. The potatoes were also very crispy and carby with nice touch of rosemary, and the burrata had cherry tomatoes, cucumbers and croutons making it the perfect and simple side. We finished the meal with a tiramisu (which was okay minus the chocolate chips on top), cheesecake with raspberry sorbet and 1 scoop of dark chocolate gelato. Our total bill came out to be $190 with tips included. My friends and I had a lovely time chatting away for 2.5hrs without being rushed. Overall, I highly recommend Levante for a nice family and friends hangout!

I did a walk in so I cannot comment on the service. I ordered Alesia pizza. Crust had a perfect leopard pattern. As for the pizza, the Alesia wasn't my thing. It was fine but I guess I was hoping for stronger flavors. I'll be back to try their other pizzas.

Levante has always been pretty solid place. I stopped by for dinner a few days ago and was extremely disappointed. I usually get the gluten free pie, but they ran out for the day. I ended up going with duck ragu and the rice balls as an appetizer. The rice balls were nice and crisp on the outside however the filling was mushy and bland. The duck ragu with the gluten free penne is something I should have sent back once presented. The penne was undercooked, and they topped it with shredded duck. Bland, undercooked and inedible. It wasn't a ragu!

Nice ambiance, flavorless food, ok service. Visiting from out of town so won't be back. Stale boring pasta, they can't add protein to it. You have to order appetizers and meal together. Only a 4 oz pour of wine. No thanks.

Came here with a few coworkers for an after work dinner & we were all pleased with the food/drinks/service at this restaurant. They have a good happy hour until 7pm that includes $10 Negronis, spritz, and house wines. It's also really easy to share meals here since it's mostly pizza and pastas. The food was decent but the drinks were delicious!! Definitely recommend the Hugo spritz which uses elderflower liqueur & Prosecco making it semi-sweet but not overpowering. It was super refreshing and everyone at my table ended up ordering one after seeing mine lol. The restaurant is super cozy & seems small but they also have space in the back & a cute outdoor patio. We would've loved to stay longer and keep drinking but they gave us the boot after 2 hours stating they had another reservation. Overall I would go back - if not for food, then definitely for happy hour.

Food was delicious. Our server was very attentive. We had great seats , we sat at a large round table which accommodated our whole party. They opened the front double doors, we had a great cool breeze . Great desserts

Absolute trash garbage customer service. Tried to order for lunch and they said they are transitioning. The food could have at least made up for it but nope, such a joke. How is this place still in business.

Amongst the 3 of us, we had a salad, three entrees, and two desserts. The agnolotti was absolutely spectacular. The pasta was perfect with a creamy cheese filling, and the sauce with its slightly lemony flavor was well complimented by the peas and scallions. The little peppers were sweet and fresh, and they added so much flavor. The white cheesecake and raspberry sorbet was light and beautiful. And the tiramisu was perfect. The service was impeccable and the ambiance was cool. I would definitely return here in a minute!

We have been here 3 times over the span of about two years when we come to visit friends. It's FABULOUS. the first time we were wowed. Sat in the back patio area. Super cute but hot. Second time we ordered takeout. Not wow but decent. But I'm gonna chalk it up to it being take out. And the third time, it was WOW again. Pasta is exceptional. Particularly the bolognese and the amatriciana. Service is good. This lady time we did get cocktails that were EXPENSIVE. and prices were not listed as they were specials. Not only were they ridiculously expensive but they were not good. But the food is obviously the highlight of this place. They know how to cook pasta al dente and marry the sauce together. God bless a GOOD PASTA restaurant. ---signed a girl who makes some pretty great Italian food at home and is usually disappointed with Italian food at restaurants. Haha.

I came here with a few colleagues for a farewell lunch. I had never heard of Levante until one of my colleague suggested it. We were able to make reservations pretty easily and we ended up eating out on their patio. It's a nice area with covering from the sun. For lunch, three of us ordered the 1/2 Panini and mixed greens. I got the Ostro panini (which reminded me of a caprese)--it was tasty and the vinaigrette was delicious. My other colleague ordered the Levante pizza which as mushrooms and prosciutto. She really enjoyed it. We also washed our meals down with wine--I got the rosé. For dessert, I shared the tiramisu with a colleague and we both thought it was delicious. I thought the price was fair and the ambiance was nice. Also, the service was good as well. I would recommend Levante.

Cute, Mediterranean decor, with a large, beautifully lit bar on the left. We sat towards the middle of the restaurant; in the back there is a wood pizza oven, and the large table by the front is next to a window that is kept completely open to the street, weather-permitting, giving an indoor/outdoor vibe. We ordered the capricciosa pizza, grilled octopus (polpo), and red sangria. All were delicious, though the octopus could've been more tender.

When you first enter the hostess is right out in front right by the door. Glad that they took and we made reservations for July 4th. We were seated outside in the backyard area which had a really nicely setup. The indoor area is really nice too with high ceilings. We were given the summer menu which we ordered first from the antipasti section called the Burrata, from the salad section called the Ruchetta (which had the baby arugula, summer cherry tomatoes, Parmigiano and lemon dressing), and last but not least the pizza called Levante (which had mozzarella, prosciutto, oven roasted wild mushrooms, truffle pate and burrata). I must say I really liked the pizza. It was so good!! The crust wasn't dried out and really fluffy. Everything was prepared well. I would like to go back if I'm ever in the area. At the end when they bring the card reader you can ask to split the check or pay in cash. I took off one star for service as it was alright and it took forever trying to get the check.

Stopped in for a quick bite after MOMA PS1. Restaurant is super cute with date spot soft light vibes. Josie was our server and bartender and made fantastic drinks. I can't find the drink menu now but one of the Negronis are there was the best Negroni we've had in a long time. The pizza was very good for a gluten free pizza though. It even had us doubting if it was gluten free! We got the piccante pizza but it didn't have enough hot cherry peppers on it so we asked for more, but unfortunately they charged us for another add on for it. The salad and meatballs were solid but nothing to write home about. Would come back if I have another pizza craving with drinks!

I popped in here for a spontaneous date night and had a great experience. We sat at the bar and the service was quick, our servers were attentive, and loved the food and drinks.
