I came here yesterday with my family, it was a great place to walk around, relax, and the baby had a great time playing. He even made a friend. There was a shaded area, where we set up. We weren’t allow to have lawn chairs tho*** we brought lawn chairs, ice chest, sandwiches and a speaker. Budget friendly & security walking around for safety! Would definitely return.

This park is absolutely amazing! I took my kids, and we had such a great time. There's a water feature that the children loved, and the whole area is clean, beautiful, and well-maintained. It felt like a very safe environment, which gave me peace of mind while the kids played. We really enjoyed spending the day here and will definitely be coming back!

I came to Houston to support my son, who faces a challenging medical diagnosis. I needed to help him navigate the medical system during this difficult time. He lives in a one-bedroom apartment across the street from Levy Park, which has been a lifesaver for me. Levy Park is a vibrant urban nature space that features a dog park, a rain garden, a children's park, and beautiful landscaping. It is a place to connect and play, all for free. The park is filled with trees and flowers, creating a lovely environment. Nearly every morning, I go to the park and walk 2 to 3 miles. It brings great joy to see families, couples, and people with their dogs enjoying the park. The park has various tables and chairs. Some are designed for lounging, while others are perfect for socializing and eating takeout, but many people simply lie a blanket on the grassy hills and enjoy a picnic. On the same block as the park are a coffee shop, a restaurant/bar, and a Mexican hut offering tacos, burritos, and more, along with frozen margaritas. There are also games like ping pong, a tiny putting green for kids, board games, reading material for kids and adults, corn hole, and so much more. If this review is helpful to you, please hit the like button.

Google
A very nice and walkable park. Taco stand nearby is great! Just a bit pricey. Go there mostly for the dog park. The people and dogs there are great! Once was a pretty clean park but lately the cleanliness has fallen off. It’s a very popular dog park so unfortunately the poop bins overflow quickly and smell just as fast. Still a great park to go to when it’s not hot outside. It can get crowded but that just means more dogs to socialize with and people to meet.

Levy Park is a beautiful and well-maintained space that's perfect for families! There’s so much to enjoy—from the shaded play areas to the open green spaces and fun events. One highlight for small kids is the splash fountain area, where they love playing and running through the water. If you're visiting with young children, I highly recommend bringing a spare set of clothes—they’ll definitely want to jump in and enjoy the water! It’s a great spot to relax, play, and enjoy the outdoors.

Google
Love this park to take my dog to be social and have a margarita🍹 Dog moms need love too! Lol. It's a nice place to just get out the house for free and if you wanna spend something then have at it. Very scenic in certain spots, lots of food to eat from restaurants to food trucks. They have Gaspachos truck there that's pretty popular.

Went with my little cousins for a little of fun in this hot summer, and they fell in love. I loved it aswell , the water part was my favorite because it cools you off and to be able to slide down the big slide you should be wet..at least thats what the kids were doing. I do recommend taking sunscreen, water shoes, and snacks to enjoy your time. The security guard is always there and making sure rules are being followed. It's an amazingly great family friendly place!

Google
Levy Park is one of the best urban parks in Houston! It’s clean, well-maintained, and has something for everyone. The green space is perfect for picnics or just relaxing, and the landscaping is beautiful. The playground is fantastic for kids, with plenty of creative and interactive structures to keep them entertained. For adults, there’s ample seating, shaded areas, and even a dog park. The park also hosts events, food trucks, and has a great atmosphere for socializing or just unwinding. Parking can be a bit tricky during peak hours, but it’s well worth the visit. Definitely a gem in the city!

Yelp
Fun and great for kids. Lots of seating options. Lots of activities and games. Always a food truck out front and an onsite cafe. Fun for all ages. Only drawback to be aware of is parking can be a little tricky.

Yelp
A unifying piece of public land in Upper Kirby that ties the peacefulness of the suburbs, livelihood of an urban environment, and madness of I-69 altogether. When it comes to amenities, Levy Park has something for everyone. Kids have a mini water park, climbing walls, and many other cool playground elements at their disposal. Adults can help themselves to ping pong, putt-putt, and even a Hearsay's that just opened. Dogs can make friends at their own playpen. Whatever you're visiting the park for, there are open grass fields and wide walkways to do it. Parking can be annoying at times, but I've always found at least one available spot when I visit. Free spots immediately adjacent to the park are reserved for a maximum of 3 hours and exclusively for park visitors. Occasionally, you get lucky with free all-day parking on Wakeforest St which borders the park. I love coming to this park whether it's at the crack of dawn or the middle of the day. Roughly a third of the area is shaded by trees. The weather is currently bearable to walk in most areas, but my advice? Come here at night for a well-lit, surreal experience.

Yelp
This park is so much fun for my kids to play at in Houston. They have a splash pad, blocks, a slide, and plenty of fun places to explore. I've looked into hosting events or birthday party's here too as they have a small section where you can have a gathering. There's also usually a few food trucks around for ice cream, coffee too. Parking can be a bit tough so but there's a garage nearby if you don't feel like roaming for street parking.

Michael S.

Yelp
Very well maintained and beautiful park in a pleasant neighborhood. Always a great mix of people milling about. My favorite dog park in Houston. And no need to fight for parking.

Yelp
Amazing family and dog friendly park. Especially great park for younger kids with a playground and a clean bathroom. They often have family friendly events and food trucks. There's a very nice large semi enclosed playground that's safe for the little ones and there are features for little older kids (i.e. older siblings). They have a cart with activities. There's ping pong although that's tough when it's windy. There's tiny putt-putt. There's also a dog park with separate spaces for large and small dogs. There's TexMex place on the corner if you get hungry or thirsty. Parking can be challenging. There are decent amount of parallel street parking spots, but if it's nice weather those are going to be taken.

Yelp
Levy Park is such a fun park for kids and adults! They have a great playground, walking paths, ping pong, golf putting, food... basically everything and anything one could want in a park. They also have a cart with games, coloring pages, crayons, and other small toys to utilize while you are at the park. I love the events that they host throughout the year!

Yelp
this park is pretty small. there's a walking path going around the perimeter. some chairs out.

Yelp
Levy Park is a great place to bring your fur babies. He or she will have a good time and so will you. There's a section where they are able to run and interact with other dogs and people. The section is split into two sections. One side is for small dogs and the other for larger dogs. On the opposite side of the park, there is a playground for the kids, food trucks, restaurants and a library. When we visited, there was a group doing yoga. There's a Bar called Gaspachos where you can get you a decent margarita and with the purchase, get a treat for your pup or pups. The bartender was friendly but another day we went she wasn't too nice. Maybe she was having a bad day.
google avatar

Yelp
Always interested in checking out nearby dog parks around town. We went on a Monday evening so it wasn't too crowded. Free parking was a breeze to find. Dog parks are great but are even better when they split the small and big dogs into separate areas. The entire park is very modern and fun to walk through and check out. I wasn't in the mood for any booze but they have tons of options at the big red stand in the middle of the park. Will definitely check it out next time.
google avatar

Yelp
Beautiful oak trees, perfect place to have a walk with or without a furry friend. Food trucks and music, upbeat vibe. Kid friendly for sure. Loved it, an oasis.

Yelp
I love to attend events at Levy Park. Because of the location and the features of a suburban park. The dog playpen called Woof is my favorite, especially on weekends. I don't have a dog but I love to watch those interactions. Kids get to play in the Children's Park. So, did the adults. In this hot summer days, come by after dark. It's more relaxing when wind blows.
google avatar

Yelp
A very popular park with kids from the local elementary schools. They have food trucks and vendors too. Free 3 hour street parking on the fringes.
google avatar

Yelp
This is a nice park area with tons to occupy your time on a nice day - playground for the kiddos, dog park, outdoor seating, food trucks, etc. They also have a couple of carts offering crafts and games for free, so it is a really family-driven and inclusive place to spend an afternoon. Free parking is available along the perimeter street surrounding the par (watch for signage) and paid parking available in the parking garage ($5 on weekends) if it is busy.

Yelp
This is my favorite Houston park! Sure it's small, but there's so much to do! And there's a very nice community feel to it. I love the light globes that hang on the trees and turn on in the dark. It feels like a fairytale place. They have books to read, two ping-pong tables, a kids section, and more! They host classes and movie nights as well! So far I've tried Tango and Zumba, both quite fun. I really want to try the Bollywood Bhangra as well! I also enjoy people watching while sitting on their cool rocking chairs... I've always found parking to be super easy around the park. If you get hungry, there are many restaurants and a cool coffee shop walking distance from here.

Yelp
Our new favorite park in Houston! There's something for all ages, including an activity cart of golf balls, ping pong balls. There's an art cart, random games cart. Rock climbing wall, slide, and plenty of room to run freely. Have kid(s)? Come here! There's a small restaurant for snacks and drinks. Very clean restrooms close to the activity carts. Ice cream truck on site.

Yelp
So fun to go with my husband and two year old! Love the slides and tunnels. The water portion is fun too!

Yelp
This is such a cute and well maintained park! Though it's not as large as some others in Houston, it's amenities make up for it. Parking: I saw a lot of reviews noting the parking situation. I personally opted for the parking garage and had no problem (of course the garage is pay to park depending on amount of time). When I arrived there was no street parking available (Monday at 11am) so I can only assume it's hard to get a street parking spot most days. Dog park: There's a cute little dog park that's divided into large and small dogs. That being said, I can't imagine having a large dog here at all. Each section is pretty small and doesn't have any real/natural grass. That's a big turn off for me and my doggos. It also has splash pads like in the children's section. Overall for how great the park is I am pretty disappointed in the dog park section - there's just too much concrete and not enough entertainment for my pups. *the dog park and parking are why I gave 4 instead of 5 stars* Kids park: I don't have any kids but the kids park looks amazing ! From splash pads to musical steps, jungle gyms to rock walls - this place looks like a blast ! There's also 2 kid stations with coloring supplies and games which is a pretty neat thing to have! Seating: There's tons of seating around the park from chairs and tables to benches to rocking chairs. There's even smaller tables for kids. Food: It does seem like food trucks come here but Monday about nmaround 11:45am (when I'm writing this) there aren't any. There's also a food concession stand that seems to be closed. There's 2 vending machines near the restrooms though. Pokemon go: I always like to note pokemon go stops in parks and this park has a ton! Great way to get all your items and even visit the 1 gym they have. Overall I really love the vibe of this park. There's large trees to provide shade plus cool architectural structures for shade too, grassy spots yo sit, a path to follow all the way around, and little extra things (community garden, rain garden) that are fun to explore. There's even putt putt and ping pong tables available!

Yelp
Located in the heart of the city, Levy Park feels a lot like parks where I moved from (#1), with the added versatility of being an urban space for all sorts of activities. Whether one is there for a little food truck lunch, a quick jog or stroll, doggy playtime or children fun, this is easy, colorful, outdoor destination. It's not the largest park but it's a sizeable enough a number of activities. The infamous Levy Dog Run is a fun place to take the doggos for some playtime. Over at the Color Wheel is a good place to get a little shade in the sun and people watch at the same time. Youngins who are seeking out some playground fun is sure to find it at Levy, as they have some fun contraptions for kids to climb, run, and burn some much needed kid energy. On occasion, there are food trucks that park on the sides of the park that vary in everything from desserts to hot food. While the variety changes up constantly, it does mean that this could be a lunch destination with plenty of picnic opportunities. Beware of the parking situation. While it's not too hard to find street parking, just make sure to read the signs. Some areas are designated for parking and some others are tow central. When in doubt, park somewhere in a nearby retail lot and walk over. _______________ (#1) NYC. Except way cleaner and nicer.

Yelp
An Earth Day appropriate park deserves an Earth Day appropriate review right? If the pictures don't tempt you to visit I'm sure others reviews will. As everyone mentions, the amenities, architecture, food options, caffeine, and community activities are incredibly impressive. However, to me Levy park is about immersion. Although you're meters from bustling 59, you wouldn't know it. Although clustered Richmond road is at your back, you wouldn't care. Although mid rise apartment buildings are in the foreground, you barely notice. Although office buildings linger above Slowpokes, somehow they couldn't feel more distance. Levy park captures the feeling of immersion. When immersed in the experience of the park that has been created for you, you nearly forget it's contrast to the world around you. To me, that's somewhere worth revositon. Although the amenities are nice, the immersive experience is why I choose Levy Park.

Yelp
Levy is so cute and small which is perfect for an intimate setting. They have books and activities for small kids + a coffee and food spot near by. I went to Levy with my friend on a random Monday and we both left puppies that someone was selling! Levy will always hold a special place in my heart!

Yelp
Love love love coming here. By far my favorite dog park to visit. My doggo Bubba absolutely loves playing here. Clean park with fake grass and little hill obstacles. Always plenty of doggy bags. There is a water spout that shoots up from the floor to cool the dogs off during hot temperatures. There's even a doggy water fountain. Been visiting this park since I moved to Houston early 2021 and make sure we visit regularly. There is an ice cream truck parked and a coffee shop within the park.
google avatar

Yelp
I come here primarily to take my dogs to the dog park here. The dog park is fairly small but has both a large and small dog section. I love how this park has turf so my dogs don't get muddy when they run around and play. I also like that this park is smaller so I can easily keep track of me pups. This park is great for kids as well. They have a huge playground and also green space with multiple games available to play. They have a little mini golf area and even books that kids can borrow to read. On the weekend I've seen multiple food trucks available if you're craving a snack or something to drink. Restrooms are kept fairly clean here as well. There is free parking available on each side of the park as well as parallel parking bordering the park. On weekends it may be a bit challenging to find a spot. Sometimes I venture into the nearby apartment complex to parallel park. Overall, this is a great space for kids, adults, and dogs. Be sure to check out their free events that include fitness classes, movies, story time, and family concerts.

Yelp
My first time visiting Levy Park. Very nice atmosphere. There was a couple playing Ping Pong, nice safe area for kids to play, and eating establishments in walking distance Incase you want to go for a nice stroll after your meal. Multiple parking options (Garage & Street). Taco spot onsite with a bar (Gaspachos). I'll have to make sure I try them out the next time I visit.
google avatar

Yelp
Great place to find some local classes or events. Check out Sunday the Holiday market with vendors such as @sweet_suite_hx who has amazing chocolate bombs and other treats.
google avatar

Mariah M.

Yelp
We frequent the park every weekend. It's not close to us but since it has turf and we have very fluffy dogs that get ruff and dirty, it's work the short trek. They have water fountains that shoot up and in my opinion, plenty of space for our small to medium sized pups the run. Only downsides are 1. People that let their kids in and they run around screaming and scaring or grabbing at the dogs (KEEP THEM OUT! It's not a petting zoo) and 2. People that don't watch their dogs and fights break out. No fault of the park but it happens a lot when we are there, especially during peak times.
google avatar

Yanela G.

Yelp
This is a great family park, dog park and generally a whole vibe! Went on a Saturday with our two pups, and hit up the dog park first. There are two seperate gated sections, both astro-turfed, one for small dogs and one for large dogs. Though our dogs are small, they play better with big dogs so that was our choice. When you walk in the middle area is open to give you plenty of room to let your dog in safely. There are two poles with bags to clean up after your pet if you didn't bring any and plenty of benches. There is a BBQ style place to grab a sandwich or beer and seating all over the park. The children's area feo what we saw was great and spacious and very creative not a typical playground. Coffee shop accross the street, slow pokes was good too!
google avatar

Tranika T.

Yelp
This is actually a nice size park that caters to kidd (and dogs). I take my kids here often because they also offer a variety of activities for kiddos! If your kid likes games they offer board and card games. If your child likes to draw they have chalk available for them to draw on the sidewalk. If your child loves to read around the corner are a variety of children's books (and books and magazines for adults to enjoy as well) They have a mini size golf area, a ping pong table, huge Styrofoam blocks for kids to play and build with. There's a splash pad for kids to cool down in this Houston heat. Just so many different activities to choose from that'll keep your kids busy for a few hours. Be mindful people bring their dogs to this park as well (there's a dog play area nearby) Parking can sometimes be a hassle to find but I always park behind the restaurant (or what was the restaurant it looks to be closed down when we visited today). I wish there were more food trucks. I've been to Levy Park several times and today was the only time I saw food trucks (actually there were only 2 trucks out that looked to both be selling ice cream) Overall this is a great park for kids!

Yelp
So many fun free classes, great okayscape and 2 small but clean dog parks make this such a neighborhood gem!

Yelp
Beautiful park in Houston that is packed with so many different options. Amazing that this 6 acre park has both small and large dog parks, an activity lawn, a children's play park (currently closed due to COVID), outside reading room, community garden, restaurants and moe. The Color Factory has two colorful partnership installations. Love the vintage British style telephone booth that is painted all the colors of the rainbow and more. Check out the Color Wheel where you can sit and spin under the pergola color palette that is open to the sky. The activity lawn has many sports related options. From table tennis to mini golf to soccer, there are lots of ways to burn calories. Play frisbee or football, but also bring hand sanitizer to use before and after participating in any activity or use the hand sanitizer that are available on site. Not sure what to grow in your home garden? Visit the community garden to get ideas of what is in season and what grows well in Houston. From cabbage to brussels sprouts to cages filled with tomatoes to carrots, so many vegetables and herbs are thriving in the garden. Do not pick the produce, though. Fort Worth Chef Tim Love has two unique restaurants on site. The Woodshed Smokehouse offers all things grilled, roasted, or slow-cooked. Not to forget your favorite pup, there is also a special menu for dogs as well as a pet friendly outdoor patio. The Love Shack is a classic burger joint. Featuring burgers, hot dogs, nachos, hand cut fries and onion rings, and root beer on tap, it is open seasonally. The Pavilion offers many fitness classes including Zumba, tai chi, yoga, Bollywood dance and body barre. Story hour includes a craft for young children. The arts and craft cart is well stocked and is available as well. Follow CDC guidance on handwashing, wearing a face mask and social distancing. Check the event calendar for both in-person and virtual classes. Three hour parking is available and free. Great park to spend a few hours soaking in the sunshine.

Yelp
I spoke with two security guards Bit-You and Troy, the new guard. Bit-You will tow your car for any reason, when you turn your back. One minute, he is your friend, chatting up people in the park. The next minute, he is a laughing hyena, helping the wrecker tow your vehicle. They love to crack down by 8 PM and tow most of the vehicles out of the park. It is highly lucrative, financially slaughtering the park cattle. I watched the wreckers running while they towed vehicles, in case the park visitors catch them in the act, as I did with my camera. I had been parked legally for less than one hour (7 to 8 PM) but my vehicle was towed: Beware the Levy Park Tow Scam!

Tiffany G.

Yelp
This is a great place to bring your kids to play. The atmosphere is wonderful. The only downside is parking. There's no parking available.

Cynthia

Yelp
Awesome park. We have events there after work and the service is always seamless. Highly recommend for your outdoor/park indoor venue needs.

Yelp
Much needed update. Last time I penned my review for Levy Park, it was 2010 and this park was just an empty baseball field. Time has certainly changed, and this park has undergone a major facelift... or a total transformation. There's a community garden, bark park, stage woth performances, a calendar of events (pre-Covid), books and craft station, art instillations, splash pad.. a good day's worth of free fun for the family. And with restaurants, cafes and food trucks directly across the street, you can take your snacks to the park for an easy picnic.
google avatar

Anna B.

Yelp
Love the landscaping, great location, everything is clean except the dog park. The smell of ammonia can be overwhelming.

Yelp
After indulging in tasty tacos and drinks at Gaspachos, we strolled to Levy Park, a cherished spot for my (at the time) girlfriend, her mom, and the kids. Their favorite for years, it turned out to be a blast for me too! The park offered endless activities - building blocks, Connect 4, chasing the kids, sliding down slides, running through tunnels, and when night fell, magical balloon lights illuminated the trees. Packed with families and kids, it was a whirlwind of fun and unforgettable memories. Exhausted but filled with joy, it's the perfect park for families seeking a wild and loose adventure! ‍‍‍
google avatar

Requel P.

Yelp
Definitely my favorite park to visit thus far! I love all the variety of activities that it offers. It's not overwhelmingly big and not too small. Just the right size for me & my dog! Speaking of which I absolutely love the pet park there! It's well kept! I love that there's a snack bar near the dog park and then there's the BBQ restaurant Woodshed on the opposite side. So plenty of food options for everyone. The kids area looks really cool & accessible, and they have the splashpad. I love the 2 lawn areas and the live entertainments that they offer. This is what I've been missing about Texas!
google avatar

Leah E.

Yelp
This park is beautiful and fun for the whole family! I'd say kids and adults can get a good workout in on the playground or running around, tossing frisbees or footballs in the open space! It's always bustling with people and even their pets. I have also noticed that businesses frequent this area too promoting animal products. The play areas are all well cared for, there's a splash pad here for the kiddos, super cool. Another feature I do adore is the ability to book an area for an outdoor party here, makes sense to book as it gets busy and the Park officials make sure to hang signage and rope off areas for private parties. Free parking is not for the faint of heart if you come for an event or on a weekend but there is a garage where you can park for like $5 and cross the small street to walk across to the park. Plenty of outdoor chairs and tables available in sitting areas, but you can bring your own folding chairs if that better suits you! ENJOY!!!
google avatar

Ashley J.

Yelp
Not much of a dog park... but if you have kids it's a great place!! Dog park consists of two little bump hills with fake grass only on the hills. And inside the gate smells like piss- you can smell the aroma since there is no real grounds to soak it into the earth. Don't waste your time city dogs deserve bigger & better.

Yelp
Beware of Levy Park Houston Absolutely horrible experience today. I chose to hang out a Levy park today to read and hold a conference call for work while my dad was at the medical center for a procedure. I knew it was a safe space and had a clean restroom. I parked and went into the park to use the restroom. After I exited, I noticed the coffee shop in the park, so decided to grab a coffee. After I had purchased my coffee, I walked into the park to find a chair to enjoy my morning. I read and then held a call. At 9:30 when my call was done I walked to my car and it was gone. The Operation manager towed my car. This is not a welcoming environment. BEWARE, do not support the businesses in the park because you might get towed. $300 for a coffee after all the fees I incurred. The director was apathetic to my experience. I was in the park while my car was being towed!! I will never come back here again!
google avatar

Vickie M.

Yelp
They need a small dog park and a medium dog park and make the empty field a large dog park. And not allow pit bulls. I've had people tell me that my mini labradoodles who weigh 25 lbs were too big for small dog park. Lots of bosses in dog park. So I went today and there was a giant pit bull in small dog park ‍
google avatar

Meredith O.

Yelp
This was my first time coming to this park (for a holiday market), and it was beautiful. They had lots of green space and many tables with chairs in different areas of the park. There was also a place where you could buy lunch, drinks, and even ice cream (though the ice cream machine was down when we were there). We enjoyed some hot dogs and the seating, as well as walking around the holiday market that was there that day. There was also a Santa statue that we took pictures with. There is also a little dog park area, which we didn't go to, but they had sections for small and large dogs.

Yelp
The small-ish park is a hidden gem inside the loop. The park is really family friendly with lots of activities for children and adults alike (playground, large blocks, table tennis, foosball) There are lots of green spots where you can throw around a ball or spread out a picnic blanket and just chill. And most importantly, there are pretty clean bathrooms that are open to the public. Nothing worse than having to leave the park early cause nature calls and there's no where to go. There's plenty of street parking around the park. Most of it is parallel, so hopefully that's something in your repertoire. The Slowpokes Coffee shop is right at the edge of the park, so you can swing by to grab something if you'd a snack or a drink during your time at the park. There's also a BBQ spot - haven't had it so can't really speak to how great it is; just another option. Another option is the Love Shack which serves fries and other concession type foods (I think...lol) There is a security guard that patrols the park. Most of the different individuals filling the role I met were pretty friendly. The park also has plenty of lights which is a cool sight in the evenings should you choose to hangout there after the sun is down. Always an option, and parking will be way easier. And of course, it'll be way cooler in the summers. Bonus: If you'd like to be on the grass, may want to bring a picnic blanket since lawn chairs aren't allowed (I think). If I'm off-base on this let me know.

Yelp
We love Levy Park! We've got twin 3 year olds & there is so much for them to do here. There is an activity area with a large Connect 4, & an arts cart, games cart & a mini library closer to the road. The arts cart is always well organized & supplies are full. I'm usually here during the week though so I'm sure it might not be the case on the weekends. There is a large grassy area in front of the stage & is perfect for picnics! They have a good amount of seating & chairs, but bring your own if you want to have a sure thing. In the enclosed area there is a hill which leads to a wide slide. There's also a splash pad (open in the warmer months) so be prepared for the kids to get soaked! I put mine in swim gear & bring a change of clothes. Also in this area are tunnels, mounds for climbing, an interactive music feature, & other various things for the kids too play on, including a climbing gym. There is another open grassy area where they have jumbo blue blocks for the kids to build with. On this side is also a ping pong table, foosball, & mini golf. For the dog lovers there's also a little dog park which looks nice (I don't have a dog so can't comment further). On the weekends there are usually food trucks parked nearby so if you don't feel line packing a picnic just pick one up! There are also 2 restaurants being built on the park which look almost complete called Woodshed Smokehouse & Love Shack Burgers which are projects of Chef Tim Lowe from Fort Worth. If you do come here on the weekend & can't find street parking there is a parking garage that is very reasonably priced. Don't waste your time driving around & park there. Thanks for reading my review. Have fun!

Yelp
Do not for any reason leave the park. Not to get coffee or anything. Even if you come back. You will get towed. Went to get slow pokes. Came back to the park to study. An hour and a half later, my car was towed. Horrible management. No attempt to make amends. They don't care. Spoke to the desk at Kirby Grove and said the problem is the security guard, Laundermilk. Seems to be a trend from what they've noticed

Yelp
This park is so, so cool and VERY kiddo friendly. I brought my kids here for a romp with some friends and we had a splendid time. Here are some of the things they loved to play with: 1. "Treehouse" path- the faux treehouse path circles several trees and gives you a great aerial view of the park! 2. Rock wall- the rock wall here is superb to climb on. My kiddo loved scaling this thing by herself. 3. Slide- the slide is made of what looks like stained concrete so be careful! 4. Tunnels- lots of tunnels here for kids to explore! 5. Musical hopscotch- the hopscotch design in the floor is so clever because it plays music. Fun!! I will be back! Parking can be a pain.

Yelp
What an amazing park for families with kids. We happened upon Levy Park after recommendations from some of our local friends and marveled at how cool this space was. In addition to interesting play structures (a rock climbing slope for the kiddos, a chime/bell jumping floor), there was both an art cart and game cart with boxes and boxes of activity sheets, coloring pages, art supplies, toys/games that were free to borrow and use. There were plenty of tables and chairs to sit on (including 3 year old sized ones) and even tape to tape down the activity sheet on the table so that it didn't fly away with the wind.

Yelp
How cute and relaxing is this park?!! We accidentally discovered it going to Slow Pokes across the street. We came early in the day and it was cold, so not much was going on when we went. There was a few people walking and a food truck. There's a play area for kids, table tennis and foosball, and a shaded area with more games to play. There's a lot of green area if you want to throw a ball or have a picnic. Seen a lot of flyers for fitness classes around, so I assume they do those there. I didn't realize that The Woodshed and Love Shack are Chef Tim Love's places from Fort Worth until I googled the name of the park to do the review. I really liked this park. Would be here a lot if I lived in Houston!!

Yelp
Be warned, you cannot so much as go into Slowpokes and get a coffee without your car getting towed. If they see you walk into slowpokes (and they have eyes everywhere) they will tow you without warning--your car will be gone before you come back out! Just cruel
