"The Arlington Club was a bi-level restaurant on the Upper East Side, operated by Tao Group and chef Laurent Tourondel from 2012 to 2016. The lack of lunchtime or late-night business contributed to its closure, after which the space was taken over by the Lexington Club." - Beth Landman

If you like happy hour deals and quality raw bar options, this place is right up your alley. I Stopped in here on a whim walking north not being from the area and was immediately entranced by dollar short cocktail from a quality establishment like to Lexington club. Considering there $15 cocktails are eight dollars during happy hour and all draft beer is five, this is highly unusual for such an upscale joint. I’m giving it four stars though because if it’s not happy hour, the prices were pretty ridiculous

Delicious steak house. Good vibe. Excellent menu. The puffer top bread at the beginning of the meal is key. They do ariib-eye for 2 that's excellent. It's a great place for business dinners, and they certainly cater towards that. Their cocktail menu is very good-hearted on the scotch and rum. I have been back twice so far, and frequently recommend it for dinner meetings.

I have been here a few times. The food is good but not excellent - as one would hope for the prices. My brother said the food was much better this than Quality Meats . The steaks were nicely done- we ordered 3 -to split- one rare, one medium rare and one medium. The oysters for appetizer $19 for 3 were just adequate. The crab cake was very good- the burrata disappointing. The sides are very expensive- and the french fries were soggy . The brussels sprouts excellent. The wine list is not what one would expect at a fine steak house, but the manager said they are in the midst of upgrading that. We brought our own special wine and the waiter seemed to be perplexed about the proper way to decant it. I was a little miffed that they ran the wine through a coffee filter. Service was very good and the staff was very accommodating given that we had = 9-month-old with us. He, along with everyone else, loved the popovers.

Thought I already did. This place was great. Best rib-eye ever. Did a review the other night. The bread was great, baked clams excellent and then I worried it was going too good. The rib eye was # 1 on my scale. It is my go to steak so I can tell you it was the best I ever had. Everyone had a great meal and service was great. They need a better sign out front, google put me right across the street and I couldn’t make out the name.

Absolutely fantastic restaurant. The tuna tartare is great! And the short rib pastrami melts in your mouth. The food coupled with the atmosphere is perfect for a first date or a big family dinner. I will recommend this place to all my friends visiting in the future.

I ate at the bar 4 times. The bar is small and very crowded. The four dishes I had we're the NY Strip, Skirt Steak, Short Ribs, and a Steak Special in a cognac sauce. Had the Arlington potatoes very rich the way they are made in clarified butter fried. The food was great ...I noticed that after being open now for 2 months or so...my New York Strip went from $48 to now $52....The NY Strip was recently raised to $54 not worth it at all. Good Bye.

Arlington Club is a very solid UES steakhouse serving top quality meat and top end prices WHAT TO ORDER: Popovers come to the table and are delicious. Shrimp cocktail look like they should come with a saddle -- they are huge. The steak to order here is the bone-in rib eye, medium rare. It's a tad salty, but otherwise excellent. Sides: the onion rings are massive and are breaded to perfection -- this might be a short bread mix around the onion ring. Deserts are good, particularly the banana cream pie. WHAT TO AVOID: Baked clams were nothing special, a little watery for my liking. The wine list has the classics but is shallow in quality bottles under $100.Soaked chocolate cake was over-soaked and too sweet. Prices are probably 15% higher than they should be.
