Li Hot Pot & BBQ

Great place! Went with my family as we saw it was down the street from us, and was not disappointed. Tried the half-half hot pot as well as several bbq meats and vegetables. The spicy pot was pretty spicy, but well balanced. My child loved the non-spicy broth (which is a miracle in itself). I can't wait to go back, and might even convince some friends to rent out one of the karaoke rooms.

An Alright HotPot meal. My experience started off with being sat after a few minutes of entering the establishment. I was handed a menu that was familiar to me from similar restaurants. I made my selection and waited. I waited. Still Waiting. Eventually I had to go looking for some staff so my order could be taken 15 minutes after being sat. After my order was taken the food arrived in about the time I expected. Everything was beautiful and I was happy with everything that arrived at my table. The soup itself was a little bit bland from what I’m used to at home using hot pot spice bags and other restaurants. I don’t normally use dipping sauces but I had to use one here to help bring some flavor to my dish. Over all I feel this was a fine place to eat. I saw about half way into my meal a hostess arrived and was attending the front of the store and taking orders in a much more orderly fashion. So perhaps I was just there at an awkward time for the restaurant. Minus one star for the service and one for just “fine” tasting hot pot. I wont be returning.

An hour and a half drive from my part of San Antonio; but worth it. Been looking for an authentic hot pot since my arrival and this restaurant hit all the marks. Both broth flavors were perfect and the waitstaff was attentive. Meats and vegetables were clean and fresh. Price was reasonable. Thank you for a wonderful experience. Highly recommended and we'll be visiting again.

Super good hot pot spot! The broth was so flavorful with just the right amount of spice. Portions are good and reasonably priced. Will definitely come back!!

Haven’t had hot pot in ages, had to give this a try and was not disappointed! Highly recommend the noodles and beef, spicy soup was super spicy but I loved it!

Highly recommended by friends and finally had chance to tried it out! On a Sunday, business is pretty busy, but service still good enough! Food is really authentic. The BBQ is grilled by wood charcoal for sure unlike some other places deep oil fry first. Hot pot is great as well! I lived in NY for years, and this one really met my expectation! Definitely gonna come back!

Really good. I definitely would recommend this to anyone who likes chinese style hot pot.

This is probably the most authentic and the only Chinese hot pot place in Austin (since little sheep closed down). The hot pot soup base is pretty good but the dipping sauce bar makes it much better and very authentic compared to mainland China. The prices are pretty fair and the portion is decent. Definitely try it out if you are craving Chinese hot pot!
