Li-Lac Chocolates

Always feel like I am at home because of the kind and welcoming treatment from the staff. Chocolate is unbeatable. I also love the sugarless versions. Thank you thank you!

Not only is the chocolate amazing but the service is great as well! I was strolling through the city and stumbled across chocolates so of course I had to get some!! I was a tourist from out of town so the reputation with New York is that most people are a bit rough around the edges, ya know? But I was helped by such a kind young man named Walt. He was extremely helpful and gave amazing recommendations. I’ll be sure to come back especially if Walt is the one helping me!!

Good chocolate. But the service was pretty bad. I came in looking to get my father a birthday gift of chocolate covered orange peels. They’re pretty expensive so I wanted to make sure these were good quality and asked to try them. The lady behind the counter tried to give me a different sample. Ok, I get it. But I left and came back later in the day and a different employee was also fairly rude. Ultimately I got half a pound, hoped for the best, and tried one as she went to go wrap them. They were delicious. But at many of the other nice chocolate stores they will let you sampled because the price points are so high. Would go to another location to hopefully receive better service but the quality is good if you’re in a pinch.

When I stop by the Grand Central location, I am often assisted by Debbie. She, as well as the rest of the staff, is consistently courteous and cheerful and happy to make suggestions. There are many places to buy delicious chocolates in NYC, but the pleasantness at Li-Lac GCT keeps me coming back.

Popped back into Li-Lac Chocolates to pick up some gifts for Thanksgiving. Special thank you to Quaron who was so helpful when I was trying to decide between a few gifts. His recommendation was spot on and a huge hit with my Thanksgiving Day hostess! I highly recommend this store - fantastic gifts and a beautiful assortment of chocolates. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Love Li-Lac Chocolates! Their candy is delicious and their inventory is fabulous (love how they always have chocolates for every holiday - including Halloween!). The staff (Annie and Patrick) are fantastic and really know what exemplary customer service is all about! I highly recommend if you are in the neighborhood - conveniently located in the Grand Central food market.

Great service lovely people and a wonderful product! They do a great job with everything but especially their milk chocolate. Employees are always friendly and cheerful and glad to answer questions and help

I purchased a 'continental assortment' today ($28; 2/13/19) and gifted it for valentines day. To my horror, when the box was opened most of the chocolates were defective. Apparently, Li-Lac is having quality control issues for the valentines day rush. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE CHOCOLATE FROM LI-LAC FOR VALENTINES DAY THIS YEAR UNLESS YOU'RE READY FOR DISAPPOINTMENT!--or at least ask the clerk to open and inspect the chocolates before you give them as a gift.
