Good food. The fried fish fillet is tender and crisp and we recommend it. The chicken cutlet bento has generous portions that can be shared by two. The bitter melon appetizer is quite special and worth trying. We would come back for the breakfast which opens at 8am on Friday and weekend.

Loved this place after stopping by during an errand run in the area! I love my noodles and only like to have tendon with them, was very impressed of how much tendon they put into this dish! It was at least 10 giant pieces of tendon and I couldn’t even finish it. They really give you your bang for your buck and are very efficient at getting food out to you quick! The tofu appetizer was delicious and the perfect firmness and melts in your mouth at the centre! Would definitely come back and try their other menu items!

Tried Liang's Village for the first time. I believe I ordered the beef and tendon noodle. Nothing too crazy popped up for me personally, but also biased since my mom makes a good beef noodle soup too. The beef pancake roll was dry and didn't look too appealing. Parking generally isn't too bad in this area.

Solid Taiwanese comfort food. The sesame and peanut noodles are delicious! The vegan pork belly is good. The wonton noodle soup is so-so -- broth is blandish and the wonton has a dime sized filling. Go for the other soups. The beef noodle soup is quite flavorful. For the noodle dishes, you can request for fresh/hand-pulled noodles. For vegetarians and vegans, they have plenty of options. They even indicate in no meat dishes that lard/pork fat is used. Downside is it's pricey.

Food: I’m so glad to find this Taiwanese restaurant in Bay Area! As Taiwanese, we can definitely tell the flavor of the beef noodle soup is different from other Chinese restaurants as it should be. The new dish Salted Duck Noodle Soup is also the flavor that’s been missed by me! It might not be perfect as rice noodle should go better with it but the texture and seasoning are so good! They also offer breakfast time and Taihu臺虎beer! The downside of this place is that it’s quite pricey…🥲 Service: we came in very close to their close hour but they still welcomed us and were helpful. It was unfortunate that I couldn’t get a bottle of soy milk from them…since I’ve been looking for a good soy milk for quite a while. Ambiance: very modernized and clean. Recommend to family and friends to enjoy a nostalgic dining experience.

Old school Taiwanese cuisine in a modern space. Wide range of delicacies from the island nation. Handmade wide noodles anchor the many different sauces they offer. Take home or shipped frozen items available. A gift section offers many unique food products for cooking your own Taiwanese meals.

Google
The pear tea drink was delicious! They put a whole pear in it! Very refreshing, minty, and bright! The dry noodles w beef were not that dry, and did not look like the photo on the menu, but they still tasted good.

Absolutely delicious. Breakfast is amazing, highly suggest eating in store for maximum crispiness. Salivating just with the thought of the delicious food. Wish they have breakfast on weekdays too!

Yelp
Taiwanese cuisine is one of my favorites, so I was excited to discover Liang's Village. I immediately ordered the pulled beef noodle soup and the pork belly pancake wrap. Although I was disappointed with the broth and the noodles, I found the beef to be tender and flavorful. I would recommend ordering the pancake wrap.

G M.

Yelp
Love the food here! My favorites are the beef pancake wrap, caramelized scallion noodles with fried egg, and spicy red oil wontons. Noodles dishes are served al dente, just the way I like it. The owner recognizes us and always makes us feel welcomed. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful... better than many Taiwanese restaurants. The only thing I dislike is the uncomfortable metal chairs.

Yelp
We've been to Liang's Village multiple times over the past few years and it's really become one of our favorite casual, taiwanese eats! We love their hand-pulled noodles. ~The Food~ As mentioned earlier, their wide hand-pulled noodles are amazing; Has just the right amount of chew and thickness. Our usual go-to is The Works, which is their dry-noodle dish with ground pork and fried egg. This dish never disappoints. Their Beef Wraps are also pretty good! The wrap is nice is crispy and chewy and the beef is very tender. We recently tried their Charcoal Peppery Pork Buns, which we enjoyed but didn't think they were anything too special; just some good standard steamed pork buns! They have really cool drinks - We've tried their Fresh Peach Tea which has real peaches in it which I think is really nice! Very refreshing drink to balance out the other food dishes! ~The Extras~ They put jars of their crunchy chili oil on the tables and they are really good! Pretty spicy, and very strong on the crispy garlic! We really enjoy adding it to our noodle dishes.

Yelp
Liang's Village is a go to for comfort food, but consistency is an issue. After visiting a few times, noticed the quality varies--sometimes the meat from the beef noodle soup is tender and flavorful, other times tougher and less enjoyable. The broth and noodles are still good, but the inconsistency makes it a bit hit-or-miss.

R L.

Yelp
I ordered the wonton soup and my wontons were mostly just the wrapper. Pretty disappointing.

Edwina D.

Yelp
The minced pork rice bowl was unique and delicious! With some of their chili oil added on top, the meal captured the salt, fat, acid, and heat notes perfectly in every bite. I especially liked the sour cabbage and chicken egg on the side. The scallion pancakes were fine but might be better in the beef roll or breakfast item. They didn't quite bring me back to the night market scallion pancakes of Taipei but would work well as a blank canvas for toppings. I enjoyed the casual atmosphere and table service versus doing all the ordering from your phone (just scan the QR code to view the menu). I would definitely go back to try their breakfast menu with soy milk or another classic Taiwanese dish such as beef noodle soup.

Yelp
We were going to valley fair mall and wanted to try something different other than din tai fung. We got there around 12:15 on a Saturday and the place was full, we put our name on the waitlist and were seated within 15 minutes. We tried the beef noodle soup, dry beef noodle, tomato pork noodle, wonton soup, mixed appetizer, tofu stew, scallion pancake, and cucumbers. Everything was delicious. My faves were: Scallion pancake Tofu stew dish Tomato pork noodle I dinged off one star not for the food but more so for the service. Maybe because they were busy but they didn't hand us menus so we had to grab them and we didn't have spoons to drink soup with.

Yelp
Love this spot, makes me nostalgic for moments with relatives in Taipei. Casual, no frills, fast service, hits the spot. Staple in Cupertino, thankful we have this go-to! Great for takeout as well. FYI this place is specifically 外省人 waishengren style food common among military families who fled the Chinese Civil War in the 1950s to Taiwan (vs. 本省人 benshengren Taiwanese who have been in TW for many generations, notably living through the 1895-1945 Japanese occupation. That will be a very different style of cuisine.)

Yelp
Tried them from South San Francisco's Lunar New Year Festival! I think my review would be a lot higher if I ate at their actual restaurant, but I rated it the way I did because in our order there were only like 5 long pieces of noodle for $16. That is quite expensive. It was definitely tasty, but nothing special. Due to the serving size in comparison to the price, a higher rating could not be justified. The staff were friendly upon ordering. I have never been to their actual restaurant so I cannot review the ambiance of the shop itself! Will have to try it again whenever we are in that area!

Dana L.

Yelp
This place is always bustling with people. We had to wait maybe 20-30 minutes to get seated. The food here is quite authentic and I was really excited to try their noodles. When it comes out in the bowl, it doesn't look like a ton of food, but as you eat it, you quickly realize how full you get. The wide noodles weren't always cut or split perfectly, but they were very chewy and satisfying. The sauces were flavorful but not too salty. The meat tasted fresh and not too oily. It really checks all the checkboxes! I'd definitely want to come back and try some of their other dishes in the future.

Yelp
Everything was so good, especially the noodles. The drinks are really fun too! I got an orange and mint drink that was super delicious!

Yelp
I had the pleasure of having their cold peanut noodles during a food festival and was excited to see they had an actual restaurant to get some instead of ordering it frozen online. First of all, the parking lot is a little confusing. There are a lot of one ways and nobody really follows them. So be warned! But the food here is worth the confusion. The interior of the restaurant is very cute. There is merch to the side available for purchase. This place gets packed! The tables are a little small and my friend and I were probably seated at the worst table by the door. Every time a customer came through, there was burst of wind right at your backside. However, we didn't really mind because we were already so hungry. The menus are on QR codes on the table. They have an extensive menu so it took some time to look over everything. I appreciate that they were very detailed on their allergens and what was vegan friendly on their menu. Since it gets busy, the customer service can be delayed. Be patient. But I did have to stand up and ask for a drink since the chili oil got too spicy that water did not suffice. My friend and I got the last serving of soy milk available. They get sold out pretty quick and did the trick for warding off the spiciness. It may sound funny, but each sip of soy milk was different. One sip would be yummy with slight sweetness and the next sip would be refreshing, but taste like straight up tofu! It was interesting and I'm curious to see if anybody else has the same thoughts when it came to their sweetened soy milk. The cold peanut noodles were so worth the trip! The noodle consistency was perfect. The flavors were delicious. The added freshness of the cucumbers made it a refreshing dish. I will come here every time just for this dish! The beef pancake roll was probably one of the best ones I've had. The crispiness of the wrap proves that it was freshly cooked. The beef inside is very tender. Recommend for an appetizer to start of your meal and share with the table. The hainan chicken was not that flavorful. The sauces with it are very good and will help with the flavor. The rice is really good though! The fat used to cook the rice adds a lot of additional extra flavor. The cucumber slices were a nice touch to garnish. Overall, a pretty good experience. I would come back again. I want to try their drinks next time as well. Recommend to come with a group, whether it be family or friends so you can try different things on the menu.

Yelp
Stopped here while I was in the area on a Thursday and it was fairly empty. Their menu was so taiwanese i felt like i was back in Taiwan LOL I got their minced pork noodle soup (肉燥湯麵) which was tasty, but I feel like it's on the expensive side.

Yelp
Taiwanese comfort food was a craving last night, and it satisfied me last night! On a Sunday night, my friend and I came in and were seated immediately in one of the few available tables. The restaurant itself is not that spacious, but it does give a familiar cozy and loud vibe, reminding me of home. I ordered the Minced Pork Rice Bowl with Stewed Chicken Egg, while my friend ordered the Minced Pork Noodle Soup. Both my friend and I agreed that the pork was seasoned just right: not too salty, and it went well with the sour cabbage on the side. I would've preferred a greater ratio of egg & chicken & cabbage to my rice. On the other hand, my friend noted the lack of noodles in his dish. Still, it was very filling & there was barely room for dessert afterwards. I would go again to this location for some comfort food!

Yelp
10/10 Taiwanese food. Amazing service and food! Came on a weekday evening and got seared right away. There were a few open tables, and the place had a soft bustling ambiance with a cozy, modern, mom & pop shop vibe. We did not have to wait long for the food, maybe 5-10 minutes, and the waitress was very polite, even apologizing for the wait time. We ordered 2x Beef Noodle Soup with wide noodles, The Works noodles, Vegan Pork belly noodles, Beef soup, crispy egg tofu, and crème brûlée. The noodles tasted AMAZING, authentic, and are hand pulled. The broth was fresh, and the waiter even came by to ask how the broth tasted and offered even more if we wanted it more diluted. The crème brûlée was silky and not too sweet. They even let us keep the jar! They had jars of their own hot sauce and chili crunch. There was also a freezer in the back and a bookshelf where you could buy some packaged food and merch to go!

Yelp
Every time I eat at another Taiwanese comfort bento place I am so thankful :') Shoutout to some friends who live in the area for introducing me to Liang's Village! We came in on a weekday for dinner around 5:45pm, and it wasn't busy. The interior is clean and has cute decor, and there is ample seating. One thing I was surprised about was how inclusive their menu was! They have a bunch of vegan options, as well as a page of gluten free items, and some fun-sounding tea drinks. The menu is a scannable QR code, but you order with the server. Service was very friendly and efficient. I ordered the special fried fatty red pork rice bento and it was SO good! It's exactly what it sounds like. I've never had this particular style of fried pork, but it definitely tastes very fatty and greasy, so if you're not as big a fan of that then it might not be the item for you. Personally I wouldn't be able to eat that dish too often because of how greasy it is but I can't deny the elite flavoring. The typical sides (cabbage, egg, pork rice) were all delicious as well. I love a good perfectly balanced bento! I would happily come back and try other bentos or their noodles, as their menu is quite large.

Yelp
We came here after seeing a long line for Liang's Village at an event and decided to visit the actual restaurant instead. I've wanted to come here for a while. The interior is simple and casual, with frozen items, sauces, and other products available for purchase on the side. We were seated promptly, although we had to wait a bit for someone to take our order. We ordered the crispy egg tofu medallion, Taiwanese fried chicken cutlet, and The Works. The table had some chili oils and their signature sauce, which we tried on the food. We enjoyed the signature sauce more, as the chili oils were pretty similar to each other and to other chili oils we've had before. * Crispy egg tofu medallion (4.5/5): this really surprised me. I didn't expect to like it as much as I did. It had silky tofu with a "crust" (which I think was the egg) and a nice thin mayo sauce. The only improvement I'd suggest is maybe a slightly more flavorful sauce. * Chicken cutlet (4.5/5): it was exactly what I was looking for--nicely fried, crispy, and decently juicy with enough seasoning to stand on its own. My boyfriend thought it was a little too oily, but I didn't notice that as much. I would have liked the chicken to be a bit thicker and juicier. * The Works (4/5): this scratched my itch for hand-pulled noodles, although the noodles were firmer than I would have liked. The egg wasn't very relevant to the dish, but the sauce with the ground pork was pretty decent. Overall, the food here was really good, satisfying my craving for Taiwanese food, and I would definitely come back again!

Yelp
I saw this restaurant featured on an IG post and had to give it a try because I love beef noodle soup. I arrived a little before 12PM so although most tables were filled, there were a few empty ones still. The menu is accessed by a QR code but you still have to order through the server. We ended up getting beef noodle soup (no tendon) and The Works dry noodle, with wide noodles for both. First, the wide noodles were soo good. These were a bit thicker than I've had before but I actually didn't mind it because it wasn't doughy. It had a great chew and picked up the sauce so well. I usually prefer getting wide noodles or knife cut noodles because it makes the dish better for me. The beef noodle soup was one of the better ones I've had. There were big chunks of tender meat and they definitely didn't skimp out on the amount. The broth was sweeter than I like but it's very minor because it does have good flavor. I usually don't go for dry noodles but it looked good on others' Yelp pictures. There's a distinct peanut flavor that mixes well with the yolk of the fried egg and the chili oil. It also has ground pork in it for the protein. Overall, both dishes were satisfying. I wanted to try the you tiao but came too late, since it's only available until 11AM. Staff were busy but attentive. I appreciated that someone walked around frequently in case you needed to flag them down but that they didn't disturb your meal. I wish this place was closer to where I lived!

Yelp
Loved the food we got here, everything was so yummy! For appetizers, we got the spicy wontons and the beef pancake wrap, both of which I'd give a 5 out of 5. So good! For my main, I got the dry noodle dish called "The Works" which I would also definitely give a 5 out of 5 for. The peanut flavor really helped the dish stand out for me, and in combination with the scallions, mined pork, and egg, it really knocked it out of the park. I'd come back just to order this dish again. I had not really had a similar dish anywhere else, but it was so good! We also had no issues with service at all. Someone at my table ordered the in-house made soy milk, and to be honest, we didn't like it at first. Although we weren't able to swap it for a different drink after we drank a little of it, they did offer to add sweetener to it for us, and that made it a lot better! (Maybe our fault for not realizing a soy drink would taste so inherently tofu-y lol) Regardless I appreciated that they helped us out.

Yelp
We had dinner at Liang's Village the other night. It was cold and damp from rain earlier in the day so a bowl of beef noodle soup sounded great. We got there at 6 PM and it wasn't very busy. However, by 6:15 PM, at least 5 new parties entered. We started out with the scallion pancake. They came out piping hot and were very delicious. I had the beef and tendon noodle soup with their hand-made wide noodles. There was ample beef and tendon to go with the noodles. The noodles were perfectly done with a slight chew. There were pickled vegetables which added a nice flavor to it. Perhaps I'm being picky, but the tendon was very soft. Almost too soft. Tendon is kinda touchy... I very much dislike it when it hasn't been cooked enough but having it over cooked doesn't seem as bad. Anyway, it had good flavor which is what counts. I'd come again for the same dish but perhaps try the skinny noodles for contrast.

Amanda C.

Yelp
Tip: Come at 10:45am so you can catch the last bit of breakfast and then when 11am hits, you also get to order again from the regular menu! My party of 4 wanted to try things from both menus. For breakfast, we ordered: Cold peanut noodles: Underrated item! Looks simple but very good and refreshing. Sloppy explosion egg pancake: Wish they had regular danbing 蛋餅 like they do in Taiwan. This was tasty but also fried and heavy. It was quite flavorful. Turnip cake egg sandwich: really good. Small portion but nice and chewy turnip cakes! Peppery kurobota charcoal bun: this one was OK. Not much filling inside. From lunch we got: Beef noodle soup: classic dish, hand pulled noodles are so good. Beef tender and plentiful. Soup was a little too salty for me. Dry beef noodles: really good dry version of above with a nice sauce. I think I like this more than the regular! Would def return! Lunch menu is quite large so lots to try. Good Taiwanese food options.

Yelp
Came for an early lunch on Sunday and sat down right away. Had the dry hand pulled noodles with beef and topped it off with a fried egg, it was DELICIOUS. Service was pretty poor, forgot the drinks.

Priscilla L.

Yelp
I have fond memories of this traditional Taiwanese restaurant when they were at their old location, also very close to Stevens Creeks. I would always order their cold peanut noodles w/shredded chicken during the spring/summer after school. It's so nostalgic to me so I was pleasantly surprised that it still tastes exactly how it did 10+ years ago from when I was eating it as a kid. I also ordered their beef noodle soup, of course (always loved it). I don't know if I remember correctly, but somehow it tastes even better to me now than it did before. Thanks so much, Liang Mama! I'll be back!

Francie M.

Yelp
The best service I've had in a long time My friends and I first ordered: - preserved egg and tofu with pork floss appetizer: refreshingly umami to start with - cucumber salad: a classic zing to offset the heartiness of the rest of our dishes - dry all beef (wide) noodles: tender beef and slurpable just-made noodles (don't get the sauce all over your shirt like me) - garlic rice with chicken fat: I was dubious about the chicken fat in my friends choice but holy cow this melted on your tongue! This wasn't quite enough food for the four of us so we went to order more garlic chicken rice, another beef noodle, and the pork belly pancake wrap. The man taking our order gently asked (paraphrased) "Can I give you a recommendation? I don't want people ordering the same thing again and limiting their options, would you be open to getting The Works noodles? The sauce will be a great dipping option for the pork belly pancake". And I sure do take recommendations if someone feels that strongly. And I'm so glad we did! The sauce of the works was flavorful beyond works, and was an apt accompaniment to the pork pancake (which while yummy, was a bit dry). Towards the end of the meal, the same man asked if the pinapple drink I had ordered was too sweet for me. The pineapple and salted cream, while good on its own, ended up being a bad flavor combo with the dishes we ordered, so the man said he would get me a complimentary drink that he knew I would like. It ended up being a peach tea with fresh fruit and mint, with flavor so clear it was like biting into the peach itself. The man also gave me the tip that if I had any leftover I should take it home and add some bourbon It's been a long time since I've visited a restaurant where the service staff (potentially owner?) cared so much about the food they were serving they wanted each guest to have their own unique experience with the cuisine. Like a family Logistics: - no reservations, it was empty at 5:30 but packed by 6:45pm - indoor seating only - plenty strip mall parking but spots are compact - they have a vegan and GF highlighted part of the menu but mostly light bites

Yelp
We were looking for some comfort food last night and Reddit lead us to Cupertino's Liang's Village. It had an open kitchen concept and it's always fun to watch what goes on inside. Owner Austin came to chat and recommend some dishes. He is very, very friendly esp after knowing we're visiting and that our son and his friend are staying here for work. The 五花肉捲餅 Pork Belly Pancake Wrap is to be had! Austin was right, it tasted better than the beef version. It was the winner of the night. Although the 紅油抄手Spicy Red Oil Mini Wonton had less meat inside, there was a good bite to it. 乾拌牛肉類 Dry Beef Noodle is a thumbs up ! 紅燒半筋半肉麵 Beef and Tendon Noodle Soup is a must-have in Taiwanese cuisine! Flavor and umami is perfect but beef shank and tendon chunks could be more tender. 台式炸排骨飯便當 Fried Pork Chop Rice could use a bit more salt and less batter! I'd come back for sure. It satisfies the tummy's cravings. BTW, they have developed frozen 牛肉麵 Beef Noodle Soup in a bag! Also, a freezer full of appetizers and dumplings for take home quick meals.

Kyle G.

Yelp
Liang's village had some very tasty food! The rice box was a very large portion without being too expensive, and everything was quite good. I'd say the pork was the absolute highlight, I'd definitely recommend it. The cold peanut noodles were also quite good. The atmosphere was casual but not too loud and service was quick. The location has convenient access to boba and coffee nearby in the plaza if you're not feeling what's on their drink menu :)

Francis T.

Yelp
They had some fire chili oil and I would buy that stuff. Their food was not so great, it was pretty over bearing and got pretty had to eat later on. I just found it really salty when I came. Also I asked for more chili oil and that was pretty difficult but ended up getting more. Place looks alright too.

Abbie C.

Yelp
The pork chop itself was juicy, but could be slightly larger in portion size. There was two pieces but the second piece about half the size of the larger piece. There was roughly about 2 TBS of mustard greens. I would have preferred a larger helping of mustard greens. Some cold cabbage dish that was okay and had tofu in it. The minced pork was way too lacking in size about two spoons size in total. I also got the pork belly wrap that was very lacking in flavor of mustard greens and cilantro. I didn't taste the cilantro in the 3 pieces I ate. It was sliced into 8. The pork belly was too dry and lacking in deep flavor.

Susan Z.

Yelp
The fried red pork rice box and minced pork rice were just okay. I didn't like the minced pork rice because it wasn't very flavorful and the meat was a little dry. I think the price is also high for the amount of food you get. For $13.25, I would've expected a little more for the minced pork rice...There are other Taiwanese restaurants around the area that have better bento boxes and minced pork rice, that are also cheaper. It's my second time here to try different items and I haven't liked what I've tried so far. Service was fine and there are plenty of seats. The wait wasn't very long.

Yelp
So this review is for the Breakfast that is served only Fri/Sat/Sun from 8am - 11am. Came on a Friday - and was happy they weren't too busy at 9:30. This is the first time we've come to this location - we've only been to their original location down the road but was excited to try their breakfast menu. We ordered a lot considering it's only 2 of us - and we left stuffed and very happy. We started with the LV Chive Pocket Pie and that was absolutely delicious! Nice texture on the Chive Pocket Pie with a very flavorful and delicious filling. Great way to start! We then got the Turnip Cake Fries. Hubby and I LOVE turnip cake so this was a no brainer to get - got quite a bit and the sauce you dip it in was very tasty. Nice in fry format cause you get more crispy edges along with the delicious soft inside. Now - when they talk about their "Sloppy Explosion Pancake" - they are NOT kidding... I couldn't figure out how to eat it and ended up having to ask for a fork and knife! LOL... the ends were easier to eat but the middle parts - everything is falling and dripping out EVERYWHERE!! BUT it was SO SO MUCH FLAVOR... we ended up finishing up the turnip cake fries with the sauce from this dish! The deep fried scallion pancake was a perfect texture- then with all that flavor from the sauce with the runny egg and spinach.... YUM... who ever came up with this one hit it out of the ballpark for sure! And they do warn you - it's SLOPPY!!! My favorite was the Turnip Cake Egg Sandwich - WOWZA - Love turnip cake already- add that creamy runny egg with chives!! YUM!! Wish our tummies could eat more - I really wanted to try some of their other dishes. Guess we'll just have to make another trip over!! HIGHLY recommend trying their breakfast - was a nice twist to Taiwanese classics.

Yelp
I dragged a friend here because I'd seen the photos and videos of Liang's Village on Instagram Reels and it looked absolutely amazing, but he was SO UNCONVINCED at the Yelp rating. After coming here, I totally understand why -- for a Taiwanese restaurant like this, the food is insane but the service ... leaves a bit to be desired. But does that matter to me? Not at all. We ordered the beef noodle soup (紅燒牛肉麵) and black bean with pork and bean curd and peanut sauce noodles (雙醬麵). I thought the beef noodle soup was solid but not the best I've had -- granted, I have a pretty high bar, especially because I make a pretty good one myself. But the dry noodles were PERFECTION. GET THE WIDE ONES. They were supremely flavorful, super chewy, and just absolutely *chef's kiss*. It does help if you order in Mandarin in my opinion, because you're more likely to get their attention and less likely to mess up the order.

Yelp
The food here no doubt is really good, but it's the service that is the issue. Breakfast is advertised as served Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from 8-11. We came in on a Saturday at 10:30, we waited over half an hour and there were plenty of empty tables but they were not seating anyone. After waiting for so long, I asked if we would still be able to order from the breakfast menu, and the lady at the counter responded with unfortunately no. They could have at least communicated that with the people who were waiting. I would've appreciated a headsup before we spent all that time waiting. We finally got seated and wasn't able to order breakfast so we ordered the hand pulled noodles- The tomato beef & the "works" which was supposed to include a fried egg and they forgot the fried egg. Pretty disappointing.

Yelp
Headed down to Cupertino for some amazing food. Stopped by Liangs village- just missed the breakfast hours but still stayed for lunch. We had the beef and tendon noodle soup. Soup was very flavorful , thick wide noodles and portions of beef and tendon were hearty. Price was on higher side at $21 a bowl. We also tried the dried noodle favorite with thin noodles and a peanut sauce with minced meat. We added mini wonton for the extra $5 which put to bowl at $20. The beef pancake was pricey at $17 but was much larger than I imagined- almost like two orders. Great location , easy parking and friendly staff!

Yelp
I've always wanted to try this place since I really like hand-pulled noodles and I thought it was a decent experience. One thing I noticed was how the service was kind of disorganized. It was really hard to get the attention of a server since all workers were constantly running around or arranging tables together to fit bigger parties. Other than that, ordering is straightforward and there was plenty of parking on a Monday afternoon. Cow Beef Noodle Soup (4.5/5): The "cow" items are new according to the menu and feature a mix of different beef (tendon, brisket, tripe). The flavor of this dry noodle dish was amazing and there were some chili oil options on the table if you wanted the flavor more spicy. I would say the noodle texture was a bit too thick and made the noodles taste a little dough-y. Beef Noodle Soup (4.5/5): This is probably a must try for anyone who comes here for the first time. The broth is beef-y and flavorful, while the beef chunks in the soup are super tender. I love that they add some veggies into the soup, which paired well with the dish. Delicious! Soy Milk (3/5): We ordered a sweetened soy milk, but got an unsweetened one. After getting some sugar added, I thought the soy milk tasted decent, but it had a slightly weird aftertaste. That taste might've been because the soy milk was super fresh, but I would say it is an acquired taste.

Yelp
I'm torn on giving this place a 5 instead of 4 stars, only because the food is pricey. Neither the food nor ambience is "fancy," but nevertheless they provide a good meal. I would be much more of a regular here if the prices for meals and especially appetizers were a bit lower. The reason I decided on 5 stars is because I simply like the food. No other Taiwanese food I've found in the area packs their food with this much flavor. The service is good, but the food can take a bit of time to come out. I don't mind waiting here whether it's to sit down or get my food, but it is something to keep in mind. My two favorite dishes here are The Works (noodles) and the Fatty Red Fried Pork Rice Plate. Yes, the macros are not amazing but the taste is superb. The Works have the perfect amount of umami nuttiness while the fatty red fried pork has the ideal crispiness of fried pork but also an added sort of rich flavor (maybe from wine or some sort of fragrant marinade). My mouth salivates as I reminisce on these dishes.

Yelp
There's a reason this place is always busy and has a waitlist. We tried this place with our friends and their girls. Everything was delicious! We got an array of dishes and shared family style so we could try a little of everything. The beef noodle soup and the spicy wontons were my favorite. The smashed cucumbers were so delicious- better than din tai fung and a way better value. The scallion beef pancake wrap was gone before I knew it and we got another noodle dish that was so delicious. Basically everything was super delicious and you can't go wrong with anything you order! Thanks for a delicious meal Austin and team!!!

Yelp
If you're going here definitely get the pork belly wrap and beef noodle soup. Make sure you get the hand pulled noodles with your soup. We felt like the special salted duck was underwhelming and a little bland especially for 28 dollars. The Taiwanese chicken cutlet was delicious and when it came out it was still sizzling.

Yelp
I saw this place recommended a couple times on social media, so I was eager to give it a try. We got the Hainan Chicken with rice, dry beef noodle, and charcoal bao. The chicken was extremely tender with nice flavor as well. The beef noodle was very good, and I liked the texture of the thick noodles. I personally wasn't an enormous fan of the bao, but it wasn't bad either. I also got the blueberry crumble tea, which was pretty good but also not amazing in my opinion. It was refreshing though! The staff was very friendly and kind throughout, and the service was great.

Yelp
this place is really great, but i can only say so about two menu items because its literally the only thing my family has been ordering for 12 years. we never change our order or try anything new because why mess with perfection. when we want taiwanese beef noodles, we always go to liang's. pretty modern vibe, not really what is expected for the authenticity of the food, but no complaints here! they sell some pretty cute merch as well! the taiwanese beef noodle soup is hands down my favorite. the noodles are chewy and flavorful, the soup is savory and fulfilling, and the beef is so tender and juicy. i believe you can also order it with more collagen. the beef pancake rolls are the noodle soup's dry cousin - it harbors the same delicious savory flavors but in a crispy green onion pancake! highly recommend!

Yelp
Casual comfortable spot for hand pulled noodles! Our favorite was the hand pulled beef noodle soup - The noodles were nice and chewy, and the beef was very tender. The broth was a little bit oily. I would pass on the beef scallion pancake, the beef was tender but the sauce was lacking and it was dry. Peanut noodles 6.5/10

Yelp
This is a go-to place for a lot of my friends because it's delicious and has seating for small or larger groups. Maybe not too big because the tables aren't too big but they might be able to put them together. My friends like noodles but I don't like it as much and Liang's is more so known for their noodle dishes BUT they aren't lacking in their rice dishes either. I got the fish rice dish and it was so yummy. There was a variety of flavors from the side veggies and egg. I love the pickled stuff it came with. The service was so good and everyone was so nice and organized.

Yelp
My friend and I went to eat at Liang's Noodle. The parking can be full during the evenings, but going inside the restaurant was no problem. It is within walking distance to Juniper Hotel and De Anza College. The menu has a good selection of noodles. It was easy to find a seat, although it wasn't super welcoming. It's more of the fact that you need to figure out how to order on your own. It is really clean. I ordered the dry beef noodle. You can select on having thick noodles, and the sauce is to die for. Expect the noodles to range between $18-$26. I think it's worth it for the pricing in Cupertino. I would come back here again to try the other noodles. It is really delicious!

Yelp
We love the breakfast here, Friday through Sunday only. It's a nice option for a different breakfast menu with lots of delicious dishes like the savory tofu and scallion pancake with eggs. For lunch and dinner, we enjoy the egg and tofu, medallions, beef noodle soup, and many other things. Service is standard Chinese, but the owner is super nice and treats us well when he is there. The restaurant is clean including bathrooms, well lit, and they have lots of Taiwanese merchandise and frozen food options. It can be pricey, but worth it. We go here often and really enjoy every meal, so far!

Yelp
I got the salted duck, tofu salad, and The Works. Salted duck had classic salted duck flavor, hit the spot as I have been craving it for past few days. The tofu salad met expectations as well. The Works really blew me away: the sauce was such a flavorful blend and was really enhanced by the peanut flavor. The hand pulled noodles were nice and chewy. I think it would have been nice to have a poached (and not a fried) egg on top and to have a bit more noodles. Overall a great experience!

Yelp
My friend suggested this place for lunch since I only tried a few dumplings from the 626 Night Market a few years ago. We were seated right away and ordered a few items to share: Dry Minced Pork Noodles - the thick noodles were firm to chew yet flavorful Pork Belly Pancake Wrap- I liked the pork flavor but, I felt it was more dough than the pork belly. Preserved Egg and Tofu w/ Pork Sung- this is the best appetizer ever Peppery Kurobota Charcoal Baos (Weekends only)- less meat than the dough; should be more generous on the meat filling in each bun The service was slow when less than 20 people were eating. We had to wave one of the waiters for 20 minutes to get a check and takeout boxes. Overall, the ambiance was nice and they even had merchandise on sale.

Yelp
Great beef and tendon noodles! However, smashed cucumber was a little bit mediocre and came in plastic take out containers. There was no soap in restrooms, how are employees washing their hands!?

Yelp
Went here 3 times now and each time it hit the spot! It gets busy so I recommend getting on the Yelp waitlist before arriving. My favorite go-tos include: Dry Beef Noodle - I got the beef and tendon option once and it had way too much tendon so if you're not a fan of too much tendon, just get the beef. It comes with tender braised beef, salty chili oil sauce, and topped w/ cilantro and green onions. It is absolutely delicious, savory, and a must get with the hand pulled thick & chewy noodles. Beef Pancake Wrap - Our absolute favorite item. It's a pretty large portion so 1 order can be shared amongst 3-4 people. It's similar to a crispy scallion pancake w/ thinly sliced braised beef rolled up. My fiance loves this so much he orders an extra order to take home. It is still delicious the next day (reheated in the air fryer). 100/10 definitely get this. Spicy Red Oil Mini Wonton Noodles - They accidentally brought this to our table and let us keep it. When we tried this paired with the beef pancake wrap, it was mindblowing! Beef Noodle Soup - Classic Taiwanese beef noodle soup. I get this when I am in the mood for soup. Very hearty and also recommend ordering with the hand pulled noodles. The pickled mustard greens are perfect although you can't really taste the tomatoes (not sure if they add this at all). Overall, service is usually pretty good. The staff check on you pretty often. The restaurant can get pretty hot. The tables all have their delicious chili oil & crunchy chili oil. Both of which are phenomenal and you should add to all the dishes above if you enjoy spicy.

Yelp
This place kinda sucks now. We've gone here since before they moved locations and have encountered plastic in the bowls a couple times but still came back. xD idk what changes they made, but everything was so bland. The beef pancakes were decent before but now they've raised the price and made the portion half the size. I couldn't believe it was almost $20 for 4 tiny tasteless rolls. Looking at other recent reviews now it looks like they gave the original portion to someone else so maybe they were only stingy to us but it sucked anyway so I guess it doesn't matter. The pancake was not crispy at all and I think they changed the sauce somehow. It was so plain. The minced pork rice bowl wasn't ever that good but it was somehow worse this time. The works noodles used to be pretty good but was also bland now. The service was still decent though! Probably will not come back again anymore unless I'm somehow really desperate
