"At the corner of Grand and Union in Williamsburg is Café Argentino, which offers a mix of updated and classic Argentinian dishes. They currently have both indoor and outdoor dining, but try to get a seat inside to experience the vintage decor that feels straight out of an old Buenos Aires cafe. The empanadas are handmade and baked to order, and include queso (provolone with olive oil and oregano), pollo (slow-cooked, shredded chicken with peppers and onions), and the Malbec, a family recipe of tender braised beef. Empanadas come two per order for $10 and if you’re lucky, you might get to experience some live music or tango as well, which they do often." - monica prestia

A paradise for meat lovers, this beef restaurant masters the art of flavor and tenderness. Every cut is seared to perfection, bursting with rich, smoky goodness. Bold, satisfying, and unforgettable—a true carnivore’s dream!

Delicious!!! We ordered the fest for 2, everything was so flavorful, I have never had a skirt steak that was better on my life! Really enjoyed the sausage as well. They had some unique drinks, I really liked both I tried. Very friendly, courteous staff. Weird thing for a review I know but they had a super cool, old school bathroom that was very unique.

My family and I came here for brunch and we ordered: Mixed Grill for Two w/ French Fries Chicken Empanada Beef Empanada Fried Calamari Flan Calamari is always a classic appetizer—can’t go wrong with it. The empanadas were (surprisingly) really flavorful. The meats were sooooo delicious—everyone in my family loved it. I love a choripan so I made my own mini choripan with the bread they gave us & chimichurri sauce—so delicious! Speaking of the bread… my dad asked for more bread 3 times 😂 It was so soft and just so good???!! But I gotta say we all could’ve done without the flan—I guess we were all thinking it’d be smoother and not as dense as it was. The dulce de leche was good though 😅

Angie Rod

Google
The restaurant is small, but so cute. The waiter was sweet and patient with our questions. Calamari was good, the sauces were a little weird for me personally as I’m used to marinara, but it was freshly fried and yummy. The empanadas were also quite good, not used to them baked but it was pillowy and filled. The steak is incredibly good. Sangria on point.(the red is better than the white) I had the chocolate mouse and I wish the portion was bigger it was so good. Honestly why are you still reading this? Eat there. It’s good.

Google
I ordered beef empanadas and dulce de leche crepes. The empanadas were fine, but the crepes tasted expired—really disgusting. That’s a shame. You should be on top of this to avoid selling bad food and putting your customers at risk of food poisoning or something similar. I’m really disappointed

Google
I recommend going here, its a beautiful cozy place that gives you a pleasant feeling. Our server was great and he made my friend’s night and I better, we were delighted to have Diego as our server. The bathroom was clean and well taken care of.

Jay Albert

Google
This place is highly overrated. The steaks were all overcooked, and the service just completely forgot about some of our orders. The best thing I tasted was the chorizo, everything else was eh.

Sara L. Perez

Google
Nice quiet spot in the neighborhood for a great steak. The appetizers are delicious, too. The wait staff is attentive.

Yelp
This was my first time at this restaurant. My boyfriend and I went to dinner on New Year's Eve and our reservation was for 7 PM. The place is not very big and it was packed. It was also very loud. The food was very good. the staff was very friendly and helpful, but we only stayed about an hour because we could barely hear each other talk. I would definitely like to go back to this restaurant, but I will pick a day that's not a holiday and maybe go a little earlier in the day.

Rae Lynne K.

Yelp
My bff and I came here for my pre nyc marathon dinner and let me tell you I was certainly not disappointed. She made reservations and when I arrived the place was pretty empty, but it was still early. I perused the menu and started out with a ham and cheese empanada as well as a spinach empanada. When my friend arrived shortly after the empanadas came out and they were hot, fresh, crispy, and so good. We split them and considered getting more! I had the ribeye which was a huge portion, cooked to medium perfection, full of flavor and some fat. For the side I chose the mashed potatoes and they were buttery soft. My friend had the braised short rib with sweet potato and I was so jealous of the flavor of her dish I wish I had ordered it. The short rib was pull apart perfection. The sweet potatoes were amazing! We shared the Brussels sprouts Caesar salad and it was definitely heavy on the dressing, but the sprouts were so fresh and crunchy. We both were so full we skipped dessert but this little gem we will certainly visit again! Quaint place, great and attentive service. Prices affordable.

Mack C.

Yelp
Swing by for some steak and eggs for brunch and the short ribs were perfectly cooked! They were juicy and tender! Great cappuccino! Staff was so friendly and nice! Loved the homemade bread and butter!

Michael H.

Yelp
We went to dinner on Saturday evening at the Libertador. It has been a couple of years since we ate at this restaurant. The food was delicious. They have a full bar, but their Sangria is one of the best drinks on the menu. We started with the ham and cheese empanadas and Burrata with tomatoe confit. Both apps were delicious. I had the filet with fresh cut garlic fries. The filet was cooked perfectly and the fries were hot and delicious. The chimichuri is outstanding. The restaurant was quiet around 7 that evening. Service was pretty good. Highly recommend if you are looking for a delicious steak in this part of Brooklyn

Jay M.

Yelp
Food was good service was ok. The place is cozy lol that's the nice way to say it lol but it was cool. Just don't be of a certain size. You have to squeeze by ppl to get to you table.

Cindy Z.

Yelp
We came here for a date night and it did not disappoint. The candles are also real, which really sets the mood. To start, we got an order of two empanadas ($10). We chose the beef and spinach & cheese flavors. The empanadas were the only thing that I wasn't too impressed with as the pastry outside was soft instead of crispy. The spinach flavor also tasted too mushy for the filling. For the meal, we paired it with a bottle of Malbec ($50). If you're here with two people, I'd highly recommend the Mixed Grill for 2 ($72.95). This also comes with a side of mash potatoes or fries, which we opted for the latter. The fries were so crispy and delicious, so pick that option. Now all the meats come sizzling hot on a grill brought to your table. There's plenty of food and we were both stuffed by the end of the meal. My favorite piece was definitely the NY strip, although all the beef was yummy. At the end of the meal, you get a platter of sweets brought to you filled with Lindt chocolates and freshly baked cookies. The service here was also very attentive as well. While I can't say anything was the best I've had, but the experience and ambiance was great and food was still solid.

Sulekha P.

Yelp
Basic. Drinks are mediocre and the food was bland. I'm not sure how they are still open.

Karen S.

Yelp
Worth the trip from Manhattan to visit this place. Charming surroundings complemented the delicious food. I had the skirt steak and it was flavorful and very tender. Great service -- everyone was friendly and attentive.

Bryant H.

Yelp
This place has really good food, a great atmosphere, and excellent service. Highly recommended.

Ronny W.

Yelp
Haven't reviewed lately but absolutely had to after going here, a really great experience. It made me wonder why other places aren't as good, and I also wanted to sing "If I were a rich man" because it made me feel like I was having a high class experience. We were there for "Copa America", there was an indoor space and outdoor, one air conditioned, other obviously not. We tried both and management was very accommodating to the change, even though they'd already set us up, so if you are a Gemini always changing their mind, as my partner is, then this place will work for you. The wait service was old fashioned in a good way, dressed up and just THERE. They had great attitudes, and didn't seem like actors moonlighting as servers. One great touch was after serving drinks one said, "cheers", they totally made it an even better experience. I hate going to places where service is great but food not so, so it makes you feel guilty when they ask "how was it", well, they never asked us that here, maybe because we didn't wait and had to tell them how good it was. We didn't really have a meal here, but tried many things. The best was the desserts, rolled crepes, warm dulce de lecha on the inside with a scoop of ice cream, OMG and wow, how well those things mixed together, we also had a chocolate martini thing. It was a great way to end the meal and a good option for one who likes the affects of drinking but not the taste of alcohol . Other great things, salads-we had a chopped. Brussels sprouts thing. I'm not really into salad and loved it, and we were quite surprised, thinking steak and such would be the specialty. We also had empanada, something I've had before, and it was really good, soft and even perfectly done in the crust. I actually don't think much while having empanada, but this was whole other level. Let me add some caveats at end, we didn't actually have a big meal but will def be back to try that after this great experience, BUT price is an issue, it ain't cheap, but I def think this is a place that proves you get what you pay for. At this moment I believe this place deserves a way better rating than it has, so I am giving 5 stars, and it was a perfect place for us that night. As South Americans like to say, amazing.

Kimberly G.

Yelp
I would come back here. Just not for the steak. In our group of 4, half of the group enjoyed their steaks and the other half had to get another meal after we left the restaurant. The short rib was rubbery and gross. It had more fat than actual meat. The best things at this restaurant are the empanadas and the drinks. The service was amazing. Our waiter was so nice and attentive. He was also the bartender.

Sara P.

Yelp
I love the service I get here. I have my favorites on the menu that are my go-to order every time I go. The beef empanadas and the short ribs.

Lou C.

Yelp
A friendly, comfortable neighborhood spot. The skirt steak is always outstanding, the french fries are consistently excellent and we are addicted to the crispy eggplant appetizer. A few of the dishes on the menu have underwhelmed us when we have branched out (personally, I would skip the Argentinian corn cakes) but old faves like the calamari are exactly what you expect (and exactly what you want).

Hector H.

Yelp
This is a neighborhood gem. We've lived in Cobble Hill for years and this spot has never failed us. Its exactly what you want in a local spot - good food, great wine, cozy and always welcoming. Are there better steak houses in the city? Sure there are. But a place you can go to every weekend that feels like home? Not many.

Glenn C.

Yelp
Note: Unsure whether this location has closed. I know their Manhattan location closed but their website is still up. This is a nice Argentine place that I went to a while ago. The service was pleasant and the food was worth it for the price at least for the area. I started off with some cocktail which I do not remember the name of which consisted of sparkling wine, some other alcohol, muddled grapes, and mint. I remember the drink being very unique and very refreshing and I would order it again if I go back. In terms of food, I got two of the smaller plates and ended with a dessert. The mollejas or sweetbreads were a little bit too plain for my liking. I have liked said sweetbreads from a few other Argentine places a bit more as I just prefer a stronger grill flavor on them. It leads to a better texture even if it looks a little bit burnt. The provoleta or provolone cheese was topped with a tomato confit what is similar to another Argentine spot I like on the Lower East Side. This was excellent by comparison and just as good as at Balvanera. I am happy that they had panqueques or pancakes. These were thin crepes stuffed with dulce de leche and topped with a bit of whipped cream and fresh strawberries. They were very tasty. Overall the food here was good. I'm hoping that they didn't close as I was planning on going back.

Franny A.

Yelp
An under the radar hidden gem in a beautiful historic corner building. I spent a month in Argentina and those food memories ate forever Witt me. Are and drank: Chianti Shrimp al ajillo sautéed spinach Total $37 at brunch Everything was delicious including the setting. Garlic and butter shrimp with lovely toasted bread was intoxicating and good Chianti for $11. Cant wait to try diner.

Yelp
This neighborhood haunt has been a place we frequent 1-2 times a year. I like that the fact there is outside covered seating, gluten-free options, and one regularly sees families dining together (down the street from PS 29). It feels comfortable. We went last for my husband's birthday and had the seared octopus (this day it was perfect sometimes in the past a bit off), burrata, root vegetable salad (simply scrumptious), mixed grill for 2 (the guys enjoyed this -- and it came with mashed potatoes), and flan (decent). A glass of Malbec and some Yerba mate were also consumed. It's a solid option though I wonder if they'll add a few additional Argentinean options...

Tricia N.

Yelp
I tried the empanada sampler: ham and cheese and fouzza were the stars but all were delicious. I had the NY strip and a corn cake, the steak was cooked perfectly medium rare and the corn cake was delicious. My husband and son enjoyed their entrees as well. We had the gelato, mousse and almendra for dessert and all were very delicious. I would like to add the service was exceptional as well.

Kenny C.

Yelp
Came here with a big appetite on 4/20, and boy did they deliver. My cohort and I have been known to have eyes bigger than our stomachs. Note that their Yelp listing was still marked as CLOSED. I called to make sure they were open and then submitted an edit to reopen their listing. Yelp really needs to fix this system they implemented during COVID cuz businesses are losing money. Ok, digression done. We started out with a carafe of their house red (a lot of wine for very cheap), with appetizers of empanadas and sweetbreads. The empanadas were crispy and hot - we got the chicken and the spinach/cheese. They're gigantic, so perfect for splitting. The veal sweetbreads were gigantic! Very good. When trying to figure out our entrees, my mind was made up as soon as I saw they had a tomahawk steak for $46!!! Where else can you get that? I mean, it's definitely cheaper in Argentina, but that's an unheard of price for NYC! And reader, let me tell you - it was SO MUCH FOOD. Oh, and it comes with a potato side - we got the fries Provençal. Grab some extra chimichurri and do your best to scarf down the deliciously and perfectly cooked steak. We gave up with probably 1 lb of beef left, but hey, it makes for a good salad topping for lunch the next day! They are definitely open, so stop on by. They also have plenty of indoor and outdoor space.

Heidi M.

Yelp
Wowowow this was a last minute birthday dinner idea for my boyfriend and we were so blown away by the quality of food here + the affordability! We ordered an entire feast for 2 and have no regrets at all. 10/10 would do it again. Of course he requested steak for his special day, but we were left disappointed when we realized Peter Luger does not deliver (via Caviar) during the week. Scrambling for a Plan B, we eventually found Libertador on Google/Yelp/Seamless and just went for it. He assured me that the Argentines know how to cook up a good steak, and he was right. They sure know how to cook good food, PERIODT! We ordered the following for takeout: - Half Dozen Empanadas ($21) - Mussels ($16.95) - 22 oz Prime Tomahawk Ribeye Steak w/ Mashed Potatoes ($39.95) - 14 oz Short Ribs w/ Fries ($26.95) - Oven Roasted Vegetables ($8) - Crepes Dulce de Leche ($12) It's been 2 weeks since we had this meal and my boyfriend is still raving about those empanadas. So homey, flavorful, soft... The spinach was a standout. The birthday boy barely shared his tomahawk and I'm not mad about it - he loved it and that's what matters! And omg the mussels. One order of those came in 2 huge boxes - we were so impressed by the quantity and quality. We dipped the fries in the delicious sauce, wishing we had bread/more room for carbs in our stomachs to finish it all. HIGHLY recommend. I have no complaints whatsoever - we had a wonderful takeout experience.

Vincent C.

Yelp
The Tomahawk Stake which they buy their meat from Kansas City was excellent, Cooked to perfection. Tender and delicious!!! Not to mention Inexpensive!!!!

Mary E.

Yelp
Amazing food and the service is impeccable . They are accommodating and very friendly. The food is always fresh s d very good and the wine list is great

Alex T.

Yelp
Great little place in the quiet area of Brooklyn. I LOVE this place for steaks and delicious deserts.

Bobby H.

Yelp
Went here for Valentines. Unfortunately, they decided to pack the restaurant in with more tables than usual. The whole experience was rushed, and the service was below par. 90 seconds after sitting we were asked what we wanted to order, we had to flag down the team multiple times. I made a reservation in advance that was not used for anything. Glad they made money on Valentines, but next time I'll make my steak at home.

Sena H.

Yelp
Mixed Grill for Two - A dozen Empanadas - Service - White wine based Sangria that sounded super fruity on the menu (forgot the name) -

Menelik S.

Yelp
A great filling meal for a surprisingly great price for a steakhouse, when done right. The Mixed Grill for 2 was actually massive lol. Between 4 of us, we split that, 6 empanadas (which were also massive and delicious), the parpadelle (also delicious and good portion), and tasty fries. This left 4 men full with a bit of food still on the table. Not including drinks, this came up to $40 each after tax and tip!!! My one con is the meat itself could've been better for a steakhouse but overall the meal was welllll worth what I paid and would happily return.

Art C.

Yelp
Strangely an Argentinian steakhouse has subtly, snuck into our devliery rotation. How did you guys do that? We hadn't even noticed... But seriously I've had delivery from these guys several times now and I can attest, for steak via delivery, you can't beat their quality at this price point. A special shout out goes to their 22 oz prime tomahawk rib-eye steak. This steak, as the kids say, is worth the price of admission. It's damned good. I also typically get the skirt steak which is also very good, but trust me when I say that tomahawk is where it's at...

Amy K.

Yelp
Great restaurant with excellent service. The steak was nicely done. The seafood dishes were not as standout - still good but the steak as above average. Prices were also reasonable. My family celebrated a wonderful milestone there and thoroughly enjoyed our evening. Thank you.

Ms. C.

Yelp
I absolutely love this steakhouse. My husband randomly ordered steak for delivery from this spot one day and it was amazing! So we decided to go to the location to dine in. The location itself is almost hidden within the neighborhood which is a huge plus. I like that it's not on a busy street with a lot of foot traffic. The service there is great. The staff are welcoming, hospitable and friendly. Always checking in on you to make sure you're good, or if you're in need of anything. The smell of the meat coming from the kitchen is mouth watering. When we get our steak it is juicy and so tasty! We always leave completely satisfied and looking to come back again. I highly recommend this steakhouse. It is a gem that I'd say falls in the same line of greatness as the big names in midtown. If you're Brooklyn local and don't want to travel to Manhattan for an overpriced, might be good steak, come to Libertador!

Clare C.

Yelp
Delish steak. But the mussels in that tomato and garlic sauce is LITERALLY ORGASMIC. I would drink the sauce they come in like soup if they let me.

Melissa T.

Yelp
Friendliest service, always fresh food and great neighborhood spot. Been around for years and there is a reason why they are still standing strong!

Dawn D.

Yelp
Best pappardelle outside Genoa ,Italy . Started with the empanadas. Great service ,great food.

Beatrice B.

Yelp
I mean, OMG, everything is like so delicious, I just love so much about this store. The bread that they gave before meal is epic! The sauce was so creamy with a taste of parsley, omg, with the warm and crunchy bread, I feel like I'm heaven. Then the mash potato that comes with the main course, I mean, how they even make that so delicious! The lamb is so tender and juicy and well cooked, and the boneless ribeye is so juicy and yummy. I'm like totally speechless and mind blooded by all the firm taste in my mouth. So great, my brother come visit me and this is the first restaurant I took him to.

Lu T.

Yelp
This is a nice find for good food and drink options. The steak options are great and sharable! I recommend the steaks or any of the meats. They're super flavorful and plentiful. The empanadas are homemade and should all be tried and shared. The only issue is the service is hit or miss. When the servers are there, they are great and have recommendations for top sellers. The issue is that getting service is pretty challenging. We were patient and not in a hurry but there were odd breaks between the meal and it lasted a few hours.

Shirley W.

Yelp
Review is specifically for brunch, A+ experience. I got the classic style south, which has all the things you could ever want really. Steak, avocado, eggs, and fresh mozzarella. Yummmm. Steak was delicious and cooked just right. Great service. Prices are very reasonable as well, it was ~$17. Definitely will be back again.

B B.

Yelp
Amazing skirt steak! Great service! In the middle of locals.. thank you grill for 2 was perfect as well.

Jennifer A.

Yelp
Service: excellent, staff is super friendly, and really good at remembering faces because they recognized us right away at our 2nd visit Food: nice variety of choices, outside of classic steak dishes The mussels and fries are our go-to, but the mixed grill is a great choice for sharing with a big group Also, dessert and coffee are practically a must! Drinks: wine and cocktails are very good, not a full bar, but they have a nice selection! Ambiance: really spacious with both indoor and outdoor seating, family friendly, but also a cute date night spot Prices: really fair, maybe even on the less expensive side for the area Overall, super great!

Gigi H.

Yelp
We've been to this place twice. The food is absolutely amazing. The service is warm and friendly. We've tried seafood, lamb, steak, salads and lots of wine. Fabulous place for two or family. We will be returning next time I'm in NYC/Brooklyn.

John S.

Yelp
Excellent drinks, fast and friendly service, delicious food! We got an espresso martini, a mojito, and an order of burrata.

Jaclyn C.

Yelp
Meat lovers - leave your vegan friends at home! When my husband's best friend and twin sister kept telling me how amazing this place is for brunch, I wasn't too skeptical since I had already experienced dinner here, and it was a meaty heaven. Libertador should be on your brunch list in your Top Five - let me tell you why. Location - this place, although is intimate, there is enough seating to make you feel like you're not in Brooklyn anymore. The rustic decor gives you a vintage vibe, as if you're in Argentina somewhere, and you're in search of a meaty brunch. Opt to sit by the door to get to sit on a cushion topped bench; great people watching to be had here! Libertador is fluent in all things meat, so don't be shy in asking how big their meat is...um...the size of their meat...ummm, yeah well you get what I mean. For the three of us, we started with the muled wine and coffees all around. I shared a half of a muled wine with my friend's twin, and she explained that although hot, it was quite sweet. She was totally right! This could definitely pass as a dessert wine, but on a cold Saturday morning, it's 5 o'clock somewhere - am I right? As a starter, we each got two empanadas - the spinach and cheese, beef, and black bean. The beef had peppers, bits of hard boiled egg, cheese, onion, and crumbled beef, making this a fluffy pillow of yum. However, my go-to would have to be the spinach. Get it, even to go! For the main entrees, we all decided to share amongst the country style breakfast, the breakfast burger, and their french toast. The country style breakfast and the french toast were the two I decided to make up as my final plate, and it was so beautiful I could have cried! The french toast was deceptively light and airy, unlike most french toasts, with some fresh cut strawberries and marscapone on top. I would come back to have just that with maybe a piece of meat on the side, just so I wouldn't feel like I was missing out on the carnivore feasting. The steak with the country style breakfast came out cooked to order, and had the sexiest grill marks I've ever seen; a MUST for newbies. Service was excellent, and we weren't rushed or smothered in anyway. You can't keep me from coming back!

John M.

Yelp
The food was delicious and I went with a big group of 22 and they where so helpful and work with us, definitely a spot I really enjoyed and recommend

A T.

Yelp
Food is... fine. Nothing life changing. I've made better parrillada in my apt. A hair pricey for what you're getting. The one star is because of service. The server was just insanely pushy and trying to get us to go with the most expensive bottles and specials they had. To the point that he was just bringing stuff to the table. Being originally from Argentina myself, I thought perhaps there was a language barrier so I spoke to him in Spanish, and still got the same energy from him. I had to get uncomfortably firm. Not enjoyable.

Jared W.

Yelp
Made a day-of reservation with my girlfriend to much glee as I was really in the mood for steak. We arrive 5 minutes prior to our reservation time of 7:45PM to a crowd at the entrance. There's no Maître d', there's a table hanging into the entrance, and nobody to greet anybody. Major fire hazard. My girlfriend and I bypass the crowd to the bar where the employees are rearranging tables for larger parties. A waitress happens to notice us, confused, and offers us a table immediately (without checking any kind of reservation and bypassing the crowd at the door). The table she offered us was literally in the doorway to the kitchen and half set (one wine glass, 2 napkins, one bread plate. I get physically bumped into by a server with a tray 4x and we called it quits. It's a shame, as the food looked good and smelled amazing, but the way that we and other guests were treated is unacceptable. DON'T LIST RESERVATIONS IF YOU CANNOT ACCOMMODATE THEM. Your restaurant is clearly popular. You don't need to over book. It's embarrassing. Would give a 0 if I could. Yikes.

Mario E.

Yelp
Just left this place on a Sunday for a brunch. We ordered steaks, sandwich and apps. This place's service is fake nice, they're not genuine. However, Pablo, the manager is what earned this one star review. I ordered a big Tomahawk thats the priciest steak on their menu, and I ordered it medium rare. The steak came back rare, like uncooked rare and I had a feeling before I knifed it because the sear was extremely weak for such a big thick steak. Enter Pablo, he comes to "listen" and provide "customer service". I tell him the steak is rare, I wanted it medium rare, he disagrees, so I had to google steak rarity chart to make him believe what he's looking at. He offered to through the steak back on the fire and I said that would absolutely make close to well done, we kinda missed the window of opportunity here - WHILE TALKING HE GRABBED THE PLATE FROM UNDER ME AND SAID "YOU DONT WANT IT" AND TURNED HIS BACK AND LEFT POUTING LIKE A CHILD. I left hungry and wasn't given any other alternative besides throw it back it back on the fire. Simply, they just didn't care, if you're the owner and you're reading this, most likely it comes from you because it always trickles down from leadership. Your restaurant is 4 stars on Yelp, during this day and age, that's average if not a little below average. I don't recommend this place because many other restaurants deserve this money and will provide a better experience. Many. Don't settle, we all work hard for our money, don't give it to Pablo.

Shakeema G.

Yelp
I really enjoyed myself at this restaurant. Great service, food is on point and will definitely go back amd bring friends next. The meats are where its at

Yessenia V.

Yelp
Nice & Chill steakhouse place parking was quick. Tomahawk steak was amazing and the French fries. Mojitos were banging. Service was great

Jay F.

Yelp
Honestly this place was awesome for a date night. Great ambiance and service. It was more of a casual date night but the steak did not disappoint. Really enjoyed the empanadas as well.

Diana B.

Yelp
I wouldn't go back. The waiter pushed a bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon on us saying it was not on the menu but was only $5 more than the one I had selected and he said it was better. when the bill came it was $14 more. and it was not as good as the other less expensive wine which we ordered as our second bottle. when we complained, they shrugged it off and we didn't want to create a scene. we noticed as we left that the restaurant had those bottles on display on the bar-- so obviously it was part of some kind of promotion. what a shame. The empanadas were good. the smaller ribeye steak was not flavorful and the Milanese was tough. the goat cheese salad was good. the Salmon was a surprisingly small piece. the French fries were not good either. we had a diner with us who had a serious gluten allergy and the waiter had no idea what we meant when we asked if the chocolate dessert was gluten free. he said yes but it has some cream on top. so we asked if he knew what "gluten free" was and he said no. fortunately he then checked with the kitchen and assured us it was gluten free. so it was all okay in the end. what a disappointment considering how expensive it was.

Yelp
Placed an order for what sounded like an amazing Friday night dinner: skirt steak, grilled octopus, empanadas, etc. Instead, we received someone else's order: one dozen veggie empanadas -_- Oh, and the order was delayed. We called the driver first--he told us the restaurant only gave him one order. So, we called the restaurant and they were so rude and refused to replace our order. Really disappointing. The only saving grace is that the empanadas are decent. Not great. But decent. Still wishing I was eating steak.
