"Tucked down at the bottom of Mississippi Avenue, Liberty Glass stood as a neighborhood haunt for more than a decade. Housed in a two-story Victorian home, the bar served comfort food and brunch, hosted events like drag bingo, and offered drink service into the early morning hours. But on May 1, the bar will close permanently, citing financial uncertainty due to COVID-19 concerns." - Alex Frane

"This Craftsman-style home-turned-local-hangout serves a charmer of a grilled cheese sandwich made with mozzarella, Tillamook white, and extra-sharp cheddars, scattered with chives on Grand Central Bakery’s white bread. The cut sides of the sandwich are dipped in grated cheese and then “frico’d” to create gloriously crispy, slightly burnt edges. The tomato soup is smooth and sweet, generously covered in croutons and parsley oil. Perhaps this childhood favorite can, indeed, be improved upon." - Joy Church

Atmosphere is interesting, but food was not the best. Fries were mediocre and the queso sauce was super super spicey but they didn't tell us that and it was smothered all over the fries so we barely ate any. The burger was also meh,I don't think that I would go there again for the food. The drinks were good. They have a limited selection of beer

I had called for carry out and ordered the nachos. I was told that the order would take 30 minutes, despite not containing any meat. 20 minutes later, I called back to ask if they could include hot sauce with the nachos. I was told the nachos had been waiting there for 10 minutes and the employee hung up on me. When I picked up the nachos, they were cold, of course, and I was charged $2 for not even 1oz of hot sauce. As the photo shows, the nachos were pitiful and the ingredients were only piled on top of the chips rather than spread throughout. I won't be going back.

This place is wonderful. It's quiet, comfy and very inviting. There is an outdoor fireplace that's fantastic as well. The drink list is original and the food is fresh and interesting.

Went here for burger week. The burger was weak, sauceless and bland. But the atmosphere, drink list, and feeling inside was awesome. It felt unique in its local vibe. It's small with a nice deck and there's not much bustle around it. I really like it here, but not for burger week.

Beer selection was limited but of good quality. It was a warm evening so all diners were outside. Seating was not overly plentiful outside and the majority of patrons were smoking. If you don't smoke, make sure you are comfortable sitting inside.

Quaint, just off the beaten path big home converted to a restaurant/bar. Try the steak tacos and an IPA. Friendly staff, great service.

Really interesting place. The atmosphere was fantastic. Little old pink house in the mississippi district. really cool furniture and obviously has the feel of an old home which I love. the cocktails were good and very inventive. However, the food was extremely over priced and unimpressive. prices in general were a little high. Your paying for a cool atmosphere here.

I lived on Mississippi for two years and my one true regret is not making this place my regular watering hole. It's a charming joint with great bartenders, yummy soup, and fantastic drinks. Every time I went there, I met someone interesting and had a great conversation. Aww now I miss it. Best bar on Mississippi.
