"Liberty Helicopters is an operator of charter flights since 1986. A Eurocopter AS350 helicopter operated by Liberty Helicopters crashed in New York City’s East River, resulting in the deaths of five passengers. The company has had previous accidents, including a collision with a Piper airplane in 2009 that killed all nine people aboard both aircraft and a collision with another helicopter in 2008 where no injuries occurred."

I will never recommend Liberty to any of my friends, family or social media following. I booked 3 weeks in advance for my fiance’s birthday and i even called the day i booked to ask if there would be any reason for cancellation and i was told “only weather or the president unexpectedly flying in”… well, weather was great and no president.. but i was cancelled two hours prior due to “maintenance”. Hilarious because after getting through to more people i was told it was an accidental overbooking. I paid over $500 for 15 minutes to be cancelled due to their overbooking? Best part.. they call me 15 minutes before to ask if i was still coming! I explained they cancelled and refunded to the receptionist. So so unprofessional and I hope i make them aware of this. I ended up going to the Lower Manhattan Heliport and had the BEST experience ! They treated my fiance fantastic for his birthday. I was frustrated with Liberty but happy i could make it work regardless

Awesome experience of helicopter ride over amazing new York city. It's heavenly experience. One should not miss out an opportunity to see Arial view of city, you will forget empire state building view.
