"Liberty Helicopters is an operator of charter flights since 1986. A Eurocopter AS350 helicopter operated by Liberty Helicopters crashed in New York City’s East River, resulting in the deaths of five passengers. The company has had previous accidents, including a collision with a Piper airplane in 2009 that killed all nine people aboard both aircraft and a collision with another helicopter in 2008 where no injuries occurred."
