"There’s something oddly comforting about enjoying a full Thanksgiving dinner in the middle of a hot, humid trip to Orlando, and that’s exactly what you’ll get at Liberty Tree Tavern. The meal is all-you-can-eat and served family style at both lunch and dinner, and there are a lot of sleeper hits on the menu. Turkey, yes, but also meatloaf, pot roast, and the Ooey Gooey toffee cake that’s worth going out of your way to try. You probably can't walk in, and even if you do manage to get a spur-of-the-moment table, know that you’ll probably end up sitting in the overflow area, which isn’t as themed as the main dining room." - Carina Finn

My sister and I love this Disney restaurant! It was our second visit. It's all-you-can-eat but the servings are big enough that you may not need second servings. I'm a vegetarian and the server was kind and sensitive about my options. She knew which items fit in my diet and which items to avoid. They changed the vegetarian "meatloaf" recipe and I liked it better than the first Impossible recipe. The meal is a Thanksgiving-type meal with potatoes, veggies and stuffing (not vegetarian). I think they also changed the toffee dessert recipe. I didn't like it as much as the previous version but it was still tasty. I like the atmosphere and it fits well with the historical America theme. It's a cozy and cool place to take a break. Make reservations ahead. Also, if you take the time to talk to your servers in the Disney restaurants, they usually have very interesting histories. We've met a couple people now who love working for Disney and have been there for decades.

Tons of food, and extra if you need it. Flat fee for everything including soft drinks. The salad was great, the food was all good as well, and the bread was also really great. I had a glass of wine and it was also just great for me. The included dessert was ice cream and a cookie or something with chocolate and maybe nuts, I really don't remember, I just know it was great, that's what I left thinking, that's what I'll remember. We did have a really annoying issue though. We had reservations for 630 but they couldn't take us before 7 due to some delays earlier. We got in and only got finished right before 8, just before the fireworks. This really bothered me. By the time we got near main street they would not let us enter and we got ushered through a back alley to get back to main street much much further away and after the show had started. This is the other thing I will always remember, because that was important to me, and I didn't get the view I wanted on my last day in Disney world. Be very careful and do not trust your reservations.

While we appreciate Magic Kingdom offering a dedicated plant-based meal at Liberty Tree Tavern, the atmosphere left a lot to be desired. The romanticized colonial theme feels outdated and uncomfortable, especially considering its oversimplified depiction of a deeply unjust time in history — a trend unfortunately seen elsewhere at WDW (like Port Orleans Riverside). Zero points for atmosphere. That said, our waitstaff was lovely and attentive. We were pleasantly surprised by a vegan bread service — soft, warm rolls brushed with garlic oil that were so good we immediately asked for more. The Tavern Salad was crisp, fresh, and nicely balanced with dried cranberries, apples, and a sweet dressing. The Impossible Meatloaf was flavorful, though the texture leaned rubbery, and it really could’ve benefited from a gravy or sauce. The mashed potatoes and green beans were perfectly cooked and well-seasoned. Dessert was the low point — Johnny Appleseed’s Warm Apple Cake was neither warm nor particularly cake-like, with a dense, bready texture. The caramel sauce was excellent, and the coconut whip was a bright spot, but it wasn’t enough to save the dish. Overall, the meal itself was decent and we appreciated the plant-based options. Here’s hoping Disney eventually updates the theming in Liberty Square to reflect a more thoughtful and inclusive narrative.

Google
By far my favorite restaurant at Disney World. The service is always great, atmosphere is delightful, and the food is right up my alley with a Thanksgiving delight. We come here every year. If you visit Disney World you should always dine here for lunch or dinner.

Google
Family style holiday meal. Turkey, roast beef, Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy. green beans, salad. Husband enjoyed beers and I had white sangria. Amour favorite place for lunch. Enjoy the parade out the front door and take a seat. Bathroom is hilariously small and old.

We recently dined at this wonderful restaurant that offers a fantastic traditional meal experience. I highly recommend making a reservation, as they were punctual with our seating time. The service was exceptional throughout our visit. We opted for the package that includes three main dishes, along with unlimited salad, main courses, and dessert. It felt like a traditional Thanksgiving feast, and everything was delicious. The salad and turkey were standout dishes, complemented perfectly by the condiments. My wife particularly enjoyed the dessert. Overall, we had a great time and will definitely return for another meal. Great place.

Google
A Magical Evening at Liberty Tavern, Thanks to Claire! My recent visit to Liberty Tavern was truly enchanting, thanks to our incredible server, Claire. Her warmth and genuine sweetness made us feel right at home. Beyond her impeccable service, Claire captivated us with stories from her remarkable 36 years at Walt Disney World, adding a unique and personal touch to our meal. The highlight of our meal was the fantastic family-style Thanksgiving dinner, featuring a succulent turkey, pot roast, and amazingly creamy macaroni and cheese. It was a true feast! We left feeling uplifted by Claire's delightful presence. If you visit Liberty Tavern at Magic Kingdom seek her out – she'll make your experience truly special!

Google
"The Thanksgiving Restaurant" is the name I've heard before. We've been going to Liberty Tree for over 10+ years, and think of it as a charming and pleasant restaurant to sit for a while and take our time. The restaurant serves family style with a set offering (which can be altered for pickier kids, allergies or dietary restrictions), but it's kind of a serve one, serve all sort of deal. Meals include choice of non-alcoholic beverages, and begin with a simple salad with shallot dressing and homemade rolls. The meal consists of turkey, roasted pork loin with mushroom gravy (outstanding, ask for extra gravy if you're a mushroom fan) and pot roast. The pot roast is the standard by which we compare all other pot roasts. It is the best we've had. Sides include mac and cheese, whipped potatoes, green beans, stuffing, Cranberry relish and turkey gravy. See why it's the Thanksgiving restaurant? Dessert is outstanding. A sticky toffee gooey cake with ice cream in a skillet. Everything is all you can eat. Dining room is charming, relaxing and colonial. We often take about 2 hours here to refresh, eat slowly, enjoy coffee with dessert and recharge. Several cute colonial dining rooms make up the dining space, decorated to period. Each room is themed after a historic figure from the 18th century.

Yelp
Thanksgiving buffet offering year round. the food was very good. We had sourdough rolls had a hint of garlic butter. The main meat was braised roast beef and roast pork which were both very tasty. The roast turkey was disappointing though. The spring mix salad had cranberries and diced apples wa refreshing. The mac and cheese was very good as was the garlic baby green beans. The stuffing was very good as was the mashed potatoes. The service was amazing. Our main server was very helpful and polite. The main meal server was very nice. Dessert was a chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream. The ambiance feels like a page out of US history textbook. So i think it was perfect. Would recommend this restaurant if you want a leisurely and good lunch.

Yelp
Going to go short with this one. We went here again since the last time it was really good. Great decor like all other places that is specific to its theme. Our service was fine. Wouldn't let us switch out another adult drink on our dining plan for one of our kids' drinks like everywhere else did when we asked. Food was just okay. It is a family style place, with is fine, but nothing really wow'ed us this time around like it did the first time. Everything just was blah and didn't have lots of flavor to it. Almost couldn't tell between the meats at times. I would pass on this one and try somewhere else.

Yelp
So me and my man and our best friend came to DisneyWorld vacation because of my man's birthday and it's also the same week as our anniversary. We stated this on our reservation...They gave us a terrible seating spot in a corner back spot with nothing to look at and nothing special about it. So we were a little disappointed, but tried brushing it off for the sake of trying to keep good vibes. Food: Looked good, but could have been way better for the price! Mash potatoes and turkey were dry. Ham was tough and chewy. Mac n cheese had no flavor, I would have gotten more enjoyment out of Kraft over this. Green Beans were just terrible. Everything else was alright. Drinks were unfortunately flat. Atmosphere: Was a home-y type feeling, from what we could only see coming in. Waitress: Beth All I got to say is, this was probably the worst service I have ever had in my life, and I am a very big explorer when it comes to trying new places. We waited a long time just to be noticed to get even drinks.. which mind you, she walked past us several times seeing us at the table before finally coming over. As soon as she came to our table, she practically blew us off, like we didn't matter, and other customers were above us or more important. Attitude like, because we are a younger crowd we probably wouldn't leave a good tip anyway.... Boy is she mistaken, cause unless someone screws up big like this, I ALWAYS leave a really good tip... She could of had the decency to apologize and show she could care and at least communicate, but she didn't... Anyways...about 90% of the whole time we were here, she was non existent... it wasn't until check time she tried to start being all sweet talk and fake (I believe in my opinion, to sway us to give her a good tip after the crappy service she gave us). Um sorry hell no. She has very terrible social skills and needs to work on it as well, cause the quick 10 sec conversation she tried to have wasn't cutting it. For being a higher end place in a very luxurious place, I expect better. Needless to say, we will NOT be returning and I do NOT recommend.

Yelp
Second time was as good as the first. We sat in one of the back rooms, so it was quiet and charming.

Yelp
What a terrific lunch. Amber, our waitress was fantastic. Always visiting our table with everything we needed and more. Food was great. Just look at this desert!!!! Awesome place to eat.

Yelp
My family and I enjoyed our lunch at LTT. Inspired by American Thanksgiving dinner, Liberty Tree Tavern offers coma-inducing fare--just like celebrating Thanksgiving dinner with the family at your mom's house. I just need a couch to take a nap after. For those dining in groups, Liberty Tree Tavern is a great option. The restaurant offers a family-style dining experience where everyone can share and enjoy the set menu. Moreover, it's all-you-can-eat, ensuring no one leaves the table hungry. My favorite items are the roasted turkey and pot roast. The Bill of Fare also includes oven-roasted pork, mixed greens salad, mac 'n cheese, mashed potato & gravy, seasonal veggies, herbed stuffing, desserts, and non-alcoholic beverages. Alcoholic beverages are available but for an extra charge. Ending the meal with the Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake is top-tear! Save room for dessert! Plant-based menu options are also available upon request. The staff and our main server were excellent. They were friendly and attentive throughout our whole meal. The dining space is homey and vintage, with dark-aged wood furniture and matching decor on the walls. It's a relaxing vibe for the most part, but it does get a little noisy when it's a packed house.

Nina A.

Yelp
I didn't love the food here. My favorite things were the bread and the toffey cake. You do get a decent amount of food for the price.

Mellissa D.

Yelp
While the food tastes GREAT here......... it most definitely IS NOT WORTH $42 per person, especially if you have children included in your total number of patrons (or someone else who won't eat much!) We made a reservation, which was definitely necessary. We arrived right on time and our table was already set up and ready to go. We were in a small-ish room so it was fairly loud with the other tables so close to ours. Wasn't too cramped --- just everyone talking over each other. There most definitely wasn't much of a wait time for our food to arrive at the table -- I'm sure in large part because of the a la carte way that it is served in this restaurant. We had Karima as a waitress and she was MORE THAN AMAZING! She definitely embraced her job and was all about quick and efficient customer service. It seemed like all the wait staff was happy to help each other out and no one went without anything (refills, flat ware, napkins, etc) for very long.

Yelp
I enjoyed Liberty Tree Tavern. It was solid food especially for a theme park and it was nice to sit down for a bit to recoup away from the crowds. I decided to make a reservation here because it offered healthier options than the typical fried food found in theme parks. I'm not a big salad fan but actually enjoyed it here with the apples and cranberries (no dressing). I didn't try the pork but liked the turkey and pot roast. I was avoiding sugar until the toffee cake came but it was a solid way to end the meal.

Kelsey I.

Yelp
It was really nice to have a sit down restaurant at Disney that served healthier foods. A lot of the quick service locations serve fried, awful foods for you. My only critique would be that I would have preferred our server be a little more attentive, but he was busy and we understood! The food was served family style and it was delicious- especially desert. Plenty of food for the kids they would eat. We were happy for a rest off our feet. The salad was yummy and I liked the colonial/ Presidential decor.

Sandy F.

Yelp
Food is served family style, overall is tasty & definitely one of the best values at Disney. Only issue is initial serving is same size no matter how many in party. Refills are plentiful though. Weird part is bathrooms are up a flight of stairs so can be difficult for some.

Liz S.

Yelp
This spot is very solid in Magic Kingdom, where food overall isn't that great. My only complaints would be the second bowl of Mac and cheese we got was very soupy and the dessert in my opinion just isn't that great. Otherwise, the salad and mashed potatoes are fantastic! However, for the cost including all you can eat and a drink, it's a fantastic value.

Katie F.

Yelp
Plate of food- I have white Turkey meat, brown Turkey meat, green beans, allergy friendly mash, pot roast, cranberry sauce and pork. The allergy friendly stuffing is made with I think apples and very HEAVY on the garlic. The white Turkey meat is very dry- however the dark meat was wet and flavorful. The green beans taste of garlic and olive oil; very yummy. The mashed potatoes are very yummy-the roast was lovely. For Dessert I had the Apple cake and it was burnt on the outer rim and was gooey in the middle. The meal is buffet style and overall yummy. The ambiance of the restaurant is colonial themed.

Tony P.

Yelp
Liberty Tree Tavern at Disney offers a dining experience that feels like a classic Thanksgiving feast. The food is flavorful and reminiscent of a holiday gathering, providing that warm and nostalgic touch. The staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive, enhancing the overall experience. I'm giving it 4 stars because, as with many Disney dining options, it can be on the pricey side, which may not fit every budget. However, it's worth noting that they offer a discount for annual members, which can help make the cost more manageable for those who frequent the park. The portion sizes are generous, making it an ideal place to share a meal with friends and family. If you're seeking a taste of traditional American cuisine and enjoy the ambiance of a Thanksgiving dinner, Liberty Tree Tavern at Disney is a place to consider for a memorable dining experience.

Yelp
Wow wow wow WOW. Such an incredible dining experience. Hands down the best vegan food on Disney property. You will feel extremely satisfied after eating here. Yamil was an exceptional waiter. He was so personable and always made sure we had drinks and food. The foods is delicious and amazing !!!! I will definitely go back

Yelp
This America inspired restaurant has several rooms that make you feel like your in the colonial times. The restaurant serves family style thanks giving dinner with sodas and dessert included. The turkey and stuffing were delicious. We loved the all you can eat dinner. It's a reasonable price for $39 considering it's several courses. We loved this thanksgiving style dinner! Service was very friendly and caring. The ambiance was casual and relaxing in colonial America. The service was

Yelp
Thanksgiving food in the summer, at Disney, somehow makes sense. Liberty Tree Tavern is a relatively easy reservation to snag but we've always avoided it because it just seemed a bit too heavy and not unique enough. We finally decided it was time to give it a shot and I am glad we did. FOOD: we all love thanksgiving food so we had pretty high standards but LTT delivered and we were very satisfied. The salad was a highlight for me to be honest! On the downside, I did not care for the dessert. It was too sweet and not really what I wanted after a big meal (just a personal preference). PROS: -I feel like for $39/adult, you can really get your money's worth -great for picky eaters -reservations are easy to get, we booked this very last minute -all indoor seating -the experience did not feel rushed and service was a delight! CONS: -it is a BIG hefty meal. If you're going during the hot months, I would recommend doing this for dinner when it's cooler or for lunch before a hotel break. -the theming is pretty immersive but it's not very "Disney" if that's what you're looking for One last note! Be careful when ordering extra food because they will bring out a lot and you can't take leftovers home.

Noren R.

Yelp
Wow. Hidden gem here in Magic Kingdom. Great service. Great ambiance. Great food. I love this place. I needed that salad, rolls, and platter. The Mac n cheese is yummy and the cranberry sauce has this amazing cinnamon apple like taste and texture. The salad was very fresh, very light just my style. It's so hard to find fresh veggies (salad most of all) in amusement parks and Magic Kingdom is no exception. I love the Thanksgiving theme, the decor, everything. I couldn't even finish my platter and it's all you can eat so you technically can ask for more. And finale, the dessert was so delicious. Very very sweet but really finished the meal up right. I will definitely come back here. I also really loved my spot by the window. It was a two seater.

Chantel H.

Yelp
What could've been a 5 star experience was diminished due to our server Jenn's seemingly exceptional disinterest in making it an enjoyable experience. We stated at the beginning of our meal that we're vegetarian and wanted everything regularly except the meat we wanted swapped for the veggie option. We were then served only vegan options. We asked about the Mac n cheese and was unenthusiastically told "I can put the order in for you". As if it's not something we already stated we wanted. After that , when we got another side of mashed potatoes when we were finally checked on, we realized that our first mashed potatoes were the 0/10 vegan option because they seemed like they were made with water and the new ones she brought out were definitely buttery and creamy. I asked about the stuffing, because it's also on the menu and we didn't receive it, and told our server that I don't mind it being made with turkey broth, but if there's hunks of meat in it I wouldn't want it. And she said, yes, there's hunks of meat in it, which I found out after that was a lie, she just didn't want to walk the extra 10 steps to bring it for us. When the vegetarian option is the same price as the meat option and we are already not getting 3 of the included items, I would hope that the servers would still want to make it a nice experience for us, and not pretend that they don't know the difference between vegetarian and vegan.

Lucy F.

Yelp
Outstanding service from the manager, and was able to accommodate a table of 11 plus last minute notice. The restaurant is located on the heart of Disney's old America is Liberty Tree Tavern, a colonial-inspired, family-style tavern with great pictures and designs. The food was delicious and we had a great time. It's a family meal all you can eat of salad, bread, green beans, macaroni and cheese, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, pork roast, turkey, pot roast, and the dessert was outstanding with vanilla ice cream. We were so hungry and left with a full stomach! The place to eat as family style! They have beer on tab, and it's nice and cold!

Addy G.

Yelp
After hours of walking around and going on a rides with my toddler, husband, and in-laws, we had developed quite the appetite. We were happy we made reservations in advance. Liberty Tree Tavern came highly recommended from one of my friends who works with Disney. We originally had a different restaurant booked, but we ended up switching because we had already done the character experience/buffet and were looking for good food. I am actually from New England myself and I heard this was New England style fare. Old school. This place has a fixed menu, but still can accommodate any kind of dietary restrictions. They bring out a beautiful salad, followed by garlic bread, followed by a Thanksgiving feast with roast beef, turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, garlic string beans, and everything was incredibly delicious. I would say the only thing I would pass on was the garlic bread. You can't bring anything home so don't ask! However, you can ask for more, in an all you can eat style. This was the first time I ever ate anything good at Magic Kingdom. It's not known for its good food. At the end, they bring you out a large dessert. You can either have brownie and ice cream or apple pie. We did the brownie and ice cream and it was delicious. Everything was very accommodating for my son as well. My son will eat anything so he was happy with what was on his plate, however, the server did mention that, he can make something special like chicken fingers and fries or something for the kids. The prices were definitely more reasonable than all the buffets, I would definitely recommend this place as your place to settle down after a long day at Magic Kingdom.

Cindy A.

Yelp
Everything you expect. $3.29 potato chips (dorito nachos, lays regular, Cheetos) $7.79 pretzel that looks like mickeys face and $14 turkey legs. (Bring your own hot sauce lol) Coke and iced tea are $5 each. Enjoy the overpriced refreshments. But it's not about that right? It's Disney. Convenience is everything. There were No wait, cleaned tables away from the cluster and tantrums from the general public. It's fine. It's fine right?

Cindy C.

Yelp
Liberty Tree is one of very few places in Magic Kingdom that offers healthy choices. We wanted some healthy options like salads and vegetables so this was the perfect spot. Food is served family style; however, they made me a special plate for myself because of dairy sensitivity. Food was delicious except few items were little on the salty side. Salad was so fresh and crisp; exactly what we wanted. The desserts, ice cream and sorbet were exceptional as well. Our waiter was very attentive and friendly. Highly recommended!

Brooke G.

Yelp
LOVE! One if the best quick service locations on property and especially at MK. Great selection. Tons of seating. AC. Seasonal options available. Close to so many options so if you need a quick bite before your window opens it's perfect. Just one of my go-to spots at the parks

Robert B.

Yelp
Dining at Liberty Tree Tavern is like stepping back in time to an 18th-century culinary retreat, nestled right in the heart of the Magic Kingdom. This hidden treasure is a vegetarian's comfort food paradise, serving up dishes that would make even the Founding Fathers pause for a second helping. The Impossible Meatloaf is a showstopper, robust and flavorful, paired with heavenly mashed potatoes and crisp green beans. Cheese connoisseurs will be in bliss with the divine Mac and Cheese, a creamy delight that's unforgettable. The salad, a fresh ensemble with sweet craisins and tangy vinaigrette, is a true palate pleaser. Regrettably, I didn't snap a photo before indulging -- my hunger won after a day at the park. The grand finale, an Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake with creamy ice cream, was a decadent treat. A bit of advice: book in advance and arrive early, as a wait is inevitable, but the colonial ambiance and flavorsome feast more than compensate. And when considering the price, particularly for a Disney restaurant, the value is astonishing. The generous all-you-can-enjoy portions make it an absolute steal. If there's any complaint, it's the infrequent service, but the quality and quantity of the food ensure you leave satisfied. The Liberty Tree Tavern offers an experience that's both nostalgically charming and delightfully delicious.

Steve S.

Yelp
We made it to Disney World a couple days after Thanksgiving. But thankfully we had reservations to Liberty Tavern whose specialty is a comfort Thanksgiving meal with all the fixings. One of our favorite places to eat.

Brad F.

Yelp
If you are in the Magic Kingdom and need a big meal to end your day or fuel you up this a great option. One thing to note is in addition to the all you can eat menu they have a good cocktail list. I got a Gold Rush made with Elijah Craig 12 year for $16. Not bad for Disney prices! The menu is a lot of your traditional American classics. Pot roast, turkey and gravy, pork loin and all the sides. The pork is usually a little dry but the turkey and beef are good to go. We really enjoy the salad as it has apples and cranberries. The sticky toffee dessert is a good finish to the meal. Come hungry and be prepared to eat otherwise you might want to go somewhere else for the money. Service here is always great, we've had some really awesome servers.

Mike V.

Yelp
Where it's Thanksgiving every day. Food is served family style. Starting with a wonderful salad and Parker house rolls. Followed up with a platter of Turkey, pot roast and pork loin. As far as I'm concerned, I could have had nothing but turkey and stuffing with a shot of gravy, it was delicious. But the dessert which is a toffee sticky cake with ice cream was a must-have no matter how much turkey you put away.

Christie D.

Yelp
Liberty tree tavern is an all you care to enjoy bill of fare. For $42 per adult, we had salad, bread, roasted turkey, pot roast, oven roasted pork, gravy, mashed potatoes, green beans, herbed stuffing, macaroni & cheese and oooey gooey toffee cake with vanilla ice cream. Everything was very good. We enjoyed the pot roast and mashed potatoes so much that we ended up asking for more. The only thing that could have been better here was the macaroni & cheese. It just didn't have any taste. Service was great and our food came to us super fast. This place truly makes you feel like you are dining in a colonial-style inn. If you are looking for a good meal in Magic Kingdom, I recommend dining here for sure.

Megan P.

Yelp
The food was delicious and never disappoints! Served with a quick ease. A quiet and nice place to eat with family ( and children) The food is served family style so everyone can share. The dessert is definitely worth saving room for! Ice cream with cookie/ brownie! Absolutely delicious! Make a reservation for a quicker wait time !

Gena G.

Yelp
We honestly loved this meal. It was so fun having a traditional thanksgiving meal in May. My favorite options were the Pot Roast and the Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake (to die for!). All the sides and gravy were so tasty and perfect comfort food. My least favorite options were the rolls and pork lion. The rolls lacked luster and the pork was on the tough side. Our server was friendly and attentive. The restaurant has a Colonial American theme and makes you feel like you have stepped back in time. Our reservations were at 1:30 PM. We were fortunate enough to finish lunch by 2:45 PM. When we stepped outside the restaurant, onto the sidewalk, we were just in time for the 3pm Festival of Fantasy Parade. The timing, and our meal, could not have been more perfect!

Joaquin R.

Yelp
The food was wonderful. The service was great. You felt like there were babysitting you.

Ali D.

Yelp
We. Love. This. Place. My husband and I came here on our honeymoon and have been back every single family trip we've made since then. (2011, 2015, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022) And some of those trips we've eaten at Liberty tree tavern twice! We love it here. Family style meals are kinda our jam with three kids - we don't have to get up to get food and you don't have to worry about ordering. It's all you care to eat thanksgiving food so there's always something for everyone in the dining party. My husband loves the roast beef and I love the pork chops. We all love the sides and the salad and we eat SO MANY ROLLS HERE! This is such a great option while looking for food at Magic Kingdom - especially if you want to take a break from the hustle and bustle. You almost forget where you are after awhile! My one complaint: the dessert. We looooved the apple cobbler pie they had years ago and really aren't big fans of the ooey gooey toffee cake.

Brianna B.

Yelp
Located on the heart of Disney's old America is Liberty Tree Tavern, a colonial-inspired, family-style tavern. Look, Disney restaurants, in my opinion, are usually lackluster and fail to blow me away so I always have low expectations-the food here is decent and I am happy that they have a vegetarian option. Our waiter was very kind and we enjoyed our conversation with him. We started with come drinks: Gold Rush (way too weak), Red Sangria (delicious, but too much ice), and Ginger Pear Snap (yummy but a bit sweet). Your meal starts with bread and salad-solid. I went with the Vegetarian Tavern Dinner option: Impossible meatloaf-like slices with mushroom gravy, mashed potatoes and green beans. It's a nice (big portioned) meal and I especially enjoyed the potatoes. The mushroom gravy tasted a bit odd and watery sadly. I also tried the Mac & cheese which was actually really good! Now for the star of the meal: dessert. That Toffee Cake + ice cream had me asking for seconds and still wanting more.

Yelp
Food and service were delightful! Being greeted from the beginning, treated like honored guests (every guest should feel this way), and celebrated if we were celebrating! The food comes out all at once with unlimited refills on any of the items on the set menu. The ooey gooey toffee cake is delicious! Their Mac n cheese was excellent followed with the salad, green beans, turkey, mashed potatoes, and pulled pork!

Yelp
Liberty Tree is a staple for the Magic Kingdom where it's Thanksgiving Day every day, and while the food is not great, it's edible and the service is quite friendly (probably because with a set menu, there's less pressure). Each room is themed, but they are due for updates - the vibe is more "Grandma's knickknacks" than "history." Skipper Canteen is an easy #1, but this is right behind it.

Yelp
This was my first time here and if you are looking for a year-round Thanksgiving meal, this is the place. It is located in the Liberty Square section of Magic Kingdom, which is on the left side of the castle. Lunch and Dinner include any non-alcoholic beverage and is: $39 per adult, plus tax and gratuity $21 per child, plus tax and gratuity Menu: All-You-Care-to-Enjoy. They bring you everything on big plates/bowls first and then if you want more of certain things, they will bring those separately. They do have allergy-friendly and vegan menu items. Bill of Fare Feast: -Declaration Salad (Mixed Greens, Apples, Cranberries, and Cheese tossed with our House-made Dressing) -Patriot's Platter (Roasted Turkey, Pot Roast, and Oven-roasted Pork with Mashed Potatoes, Seasonal Vegetables, Herb Stuffing, and House-made Macaroni & Cheese) -Oooey Gooey Toffee Cake (Vanilla Toffee Cake, Chocolate Sauce, and Vanilla Ice Cream) -House-made Gravy Plant-based Tavern Keeper's Feast: -Tavern Salad (Tossed Mixed Greens with House-made dressing) -Impossible Meatloaf (Plant-based Meatloaf with Mashed Potatoes, Mushroom Gravy, and Seasonal Vegetables) -Johnny Appleseed's Warm Apple Cake with Caramel and Whipped Topping Atmosphere: Rich wood paneling, candelabra chandeliers, large brick fireplaces, and walls lined with period portraits and curios welcome the weary time traveler. Each of the 6 rooms commemorates a pivotal figure in U.S. history -Benjamin Franklin -Thomas Jefferson -John Paul Jones -Paul Revere -Betsy Ross -George Washington Be sure to wander the rooms and see if you can spot the signature artifacts famously associated with each American hero. Overall, a lovely meal!

Yelp
First Visit, was hesitant as party of 1 at a family style restaurant, but decided to give it a try during the VIPassholder 20% off promo in June. I've always heard how good the Toffee Cake was, so I tried my best to save room. Salad was very good, loved the Citrus dressing and dried Cranberries. Main course I was still served a scoop of everything on my plate. The Stuffing and Turkey were my favorite. Mac & Cheese was a similar recipe on property, nothing special. But omg, the dessert was the best part. I barely touched the vanilla ice cream, it was overflowing, but great compliment to the Toffee & chocolate. I'd definitely go back, but would plan the reservation time because you are stuffed when you leave.

Yelp
This was our first time visiting this Resturaunt and we're skeptical with Disney food since it is hit or miss. I have to say this was some of the best comfort food we had in a while. We made our reservation same day while visiting magic kingdom. Upon entering the restaurant we checked in a only waited 2 minutes before our table was ready. The ambiance of the restaurant matches the theme of the food perfectly. The staff was super friendly and attentive. This is all you can eat restaurant so you pay per person. Pros - food was delicious , large variety of items included in platters , priced great for amount of food you get. 3 course meal, quick service Cons - dessert options are limited We will return the food was just that good.

Yelp
This was my favorite dining experience in Disney by far. No characters, no flair, but the food was great. Yes it's traditional home cooking family food but they do a great job. The building is built in a traditional colonial style with decorations reminiscent of the era. We were seated in the Betsy Ross room. Our server was on point! He was ready with refills before we even had to ask despite the place being packed. The salads was tasty, with greens I wouldn't buy myself. Delicious meats and vegetables were never ending, and I felt bad not stuffing all of it into our mouths. Roast pork, turkey and the tenderest pot roast! A lot was left over. The item that put it over the top for me and made it better than all our other meals we had was the dessert. Toffee cake with ice cream and chocolate sauce. It stole the show after a delicious meal. We ate at several character meals and had reservations at several other good Disney restaurants but this was by far my favorite dinner or lunch.

Yelp
I don't care what anyone says... this is my favorite place to eat at Magic Kingdom. When people ask me why I just say "it's Thanksgiving anytime of the year." Whats not to love about that? Just make sure you make a reservation ahead of time because this can be a hard one to snag. Even with a reservation there may be a bit of a wait but I promise it's worth it. My favorite is the stuffing and gravy they make. So good! Be sure to save room for dessert because it's honestly the best part. SO GOOD.

Yelp
The Liberty Tree Tavern serves a Thanksgiving style dinner year round. Together with the Diamond Horseshoe saloon next door you can get the same meal at either place. The atmosphere is different. My husband and I had lunch reservations following the parade and we got seated fairly quickly. We were told the meal would be served "family style" so we could share the serving plates. We could ask for as many helpings as we would like. Our first course was a tossed salad with rolls. That was a good start but knowing more was ahead I decided to defer the 2nd helping. The second course was sliced turkey, dressing. cranberry sauce, pot roast, mashed potatoes and gravy, macaroni and cheese, and green beans. All were very good and quite filling. Between courses I had a walk around the tavern and noticed the different themed rooms. They are themed to the various founding fathers including Washington, Jefferson, and Ben Franklin. The motif changes from room to room. It's definitely worth a look here! Our final course was Toffee cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce. This thing was sickeningly sweet to me and I really couldn't eat it. This was my one disappointment to an almost delightful meal. Still I had enough food from the previous courses that I wasn't left hungry. The Liberty tree tavern is easier to get a dining reservation than some of the more in demand places in the Magic Kingdom. Prices although high are not overly exorbitant like the popular restaurants. All in all you can get a pretty descent meal here. Located in Liberty Square in the Magic KIngdom.

Yelp
This is the perfect place for a classic Thanksgiving meal. The food is delicious and you don't have to do all the work! The service was wonderful and very friendly. It is a very family-friendly restaurant with plenty of things for kids. We will definitely be back!

Yelp
Had lunch it's all you can eat salad with a delicious vinaigrette dressing. Turkey and bowl of Turkey gravy, pork, and pot roast with gravy . Sides were cornbread dressing nice and moist, mashed potatoes, Mac n cheese, and green beans and ends with ice cream and caramel toffee cake like dessert. Everything was delicious also tea & soft drinks are included. We have a great server.

Yelp
The only thing this place serves is an all-you-care-to-enjoy course, and those are just fancy words for "AYCE". The first course was the Declaration Salad, and it was great. I half expected a plain caesar just because the place was all-you-can-eat, but this salad set the tone of how the rest of the meal would go perfectly. I also have a soft spot for radishes, so it may have been some of that. The Patriot's Platter is their main course, and it's a plate of roasted turkey, chicken, and pork with pot roast. Gravy and cranberry sauce accompanied the meats, and sides were macaroni and cheese and seasonal vegetables, which was green beans for us. Everything was juicy and flavorful, and the best part is that you can request individual portions if you want more. Second round, we settled for just roasted pork and pot roast, and it was pretty great. The waitress mentioned prior to our dessert order that their Oooey Gooey Toffee Cake was well-loved, and I can confirm that it is indeed phenomenal. It's exceedingly sweet and chocolatey with a melt-in-your-mouth ice cream top to meld with the pool of chocolate it brings. I loved it, but for those without a major sweet tooth, it can get a little much. We also tried the plant-based dessert (spoiler alert: you can indeed order off any menu you'd like!), which was the Apple Cake. It was warm as advertised, with enough apple and apple spice to be entertaining. Unfortunately it was majorly upstaged when the toffee cake came through, but it's less sweet and more comforting than the chocolate overload of its counterpart. One thing that I will mention is that we came in the dead of summer when AC was a welcome treat, but this place had the AC pumped up to the point where I was reaching for my raincoat for the little warmth it offered. I also did indeed order two hot chocolates to stave off the cold, which... were both delicious and effective. Overall though? Loved the place and would definitely come again. You're welcome to stay as long as you'd like, though we tapped out after two hours or so due to the cold. If I'm ever in the area again with a jacket, though...

Yelp
I really enjoy Liberty Tree, and I think it's an excellent place to reserve if you have a larger group or kids who you are trying to get a decent meal in. You need to get reservations ahead of time to make sure you get a seat. (Using a Disney authorized travel agent helps with this bc you don't have to do the leg work to get the reservation.) We waited about 15-20 minutes past our reservation time - it seems a lot of people were taking advantage of the AC and refuge from the rain and overstaying their estimated times. But we were seated in a cute area next to a lot of colonial décor and replicas of historical documents everywhere. It's not only charming, but it's a fun learning experience for kids. The concept is "all you care to eat" so if you want additional helpings of anything, they will bring it to you. So it's a fixed price menu. There were only two of us, so honestly, we did not get the value out of it as others will, but we booked it for a specific reason on our trip, and it was fine. You're in the Frontierland area of Magic Kingdom, so to stick with the America theme, it's a Thanksgiving style meal. You know how you usually eat then have to lie down after a good Thanksgiving meal, yeah, it's the same here - a LOT of food. You'll start with a crazy delicious salad - I mean, we are on the hunt for the dressing recipe. I would have been happy with just that. Then we ordered one regular menu and one plant based one. Both had delicious items a plenty. The regular dish included turkey, gravy, pork, pot roast, dressing, mashed potatoes, a large mac and cheese, and some green beans. The plant based had a plant based "meat" loaf and some other items. Neither of us could eat one plate, so that was a huge waste of food, so again - it is a poor value unless you're bringing a group. Dessert nearly killed me - an ooey gooey cake with a scoop of ice cream. (I don't know what the plant based option was). I could only eat a few bites of it, so more food thrown away. But WOW, it was so good! It's not for everyone, but I spoke to some international travelers who loved the idea of a traditional Thanksgiving meal, and again - it's a good value if you have a larger table who maybe will get a couple of helpings of something. But I really enjoyed it. And the cast members working there were extra nice and helpful, and they also understood we were on a time budget needing to get somewhere after we ate. Enjoy!

Yelp
Always a great spot. It's like everyday is a thanksgiving with all the Fixin's. The options for your dining experience is a blend of pot roast, pork tender loin and turkey. Mac&cheese, stuffing, mashed potatoes, green beans are the sides. Plus dessert included. Only thing I wish was an option was requesting more turkey and no pot roast (for example). Overall one of my favorite places to visit when in magic kingdom.
