"LIC Market is a neighborhood utility spot where you can reliably get high-quality, uncomplicated food. It serves seasonal American, like hearty salads and vegetable sides, stews in the winter, and of course, a solid burger. The space is small - with a few bar seats up front, a dining room with two-tops, and a back patio - so come here with a friend for a casual bite and glass of natural wine. Make sure to buy a bottle of the housemade hot sauce on your way out." - Matt Tervooren

It’s a great brunch place! I really recommend the eggplant dish. Try it as an appetizer- won’t be disappointed! I went there pretty early for lunch and there were not many people. Also they have a nice outdoor seating. Price- reasonable! I suggest going with a group of people so you can share & try various dishes!

Great natural wine selection and the duck hash at brunch was very good. Very strong coffee. Service was good too. The only complaint was the long wait for our table despite having a reservation.

LIC Market is closest in my mind to Gramercy Tavern in Manhattan because the staff culture is so strong and the hiring so good that the service is always A++. The food is consistently excellent. The decor is perfect. Oh, and they have (I’m not kidding) one of the best cold brewed coffees *in the world*.

Terrific brunch. Had the sausage sandwich which was both tasty and filling. Potatoes were crispy and sausage was full of flavor (and probably fat!). Eggs cooked exactly like I asked. Great bread basket to start. Dont take reservations for brunch and woman who takes names isnt the friendliest but it doesnt ruin the mood. Its a great place for a Sunday brunch. And a couple outdoor tables for dogs. Servers are super friendly and attentive. Reasonably priced too.

Nice quaint place. Went here during the NYC marathon for breakfast. They have scrumptious selections but the best dish for breakfast was their pancakes made with a fresh batter. Eggs were ok, bacon good along with soft toast. Definitely worth the wait for breakfast.

Fun but over sold on their website description- Staff inexperienced and inefficient All beers bottled Wine selection for brunch extremely limited For Brunch the menu had two white wines, one of which they did not have in stock- Sat and Sun brunch restricted menu- Food: Burgers- pass Slow roasted pork - excellent Sides including turnip greens, Brussel sprouts, Beet salad- very good Lentils good but nothing special Memosas- very light on the champagne and heavy on the juice Not particularly ADA accessible

LIC Market offers a fantastic brunch, with both meat-forward and vegetarian options, as well as interesting takes on the mimosa and bloody Mary. It has a great vibe and friendly staff, with an open air section in the back that is ideal in the summer time. The front of the store stocks a fine array of natural wines and beers, including ciders. Check out their online menu for their most recent selection.

Delicious food, short wait time on a busy Saturday morning & large portions. Very pleased with the friendly staff as well. Highly recommended. Will def. return soon!
