This business has a lot of food stuff. Very big with a wide variety of groceries. . The majority of of staff are very helpful and courteous. Except Some for a manager (white woman) who are rude. Many of the items are overpriced. They have freshly baked pastries that are only 99 cents each.

Great prices. This is like Aldi’s which makes sense as it’s a sister store. I buy my salmon here and their generic brands of chips are good. They also have a good beer selection, usually good price. You can slice the fresh loafs as well.

Very clean location, great prices. Checkout was a tad bit confusing as a first timer (the swinging payment machine?) but overall I'll be happy to visit again and now I know what to expect! They have a great range of products, you can find just about everything- it'd be easy to do a whole grocery haul here.

Hit or miss supermarket. Somethings were well priced others were more expensive. They don’t have much of a variety. Items are no name brands so it’s cheaper. The bakery was very fresh. Lots of great bakery items. The lines take a while because there’s only two cashiers.

Some of the best prices in the area. I stop by once or twice a month to stock up on pantry staples, dairy products, snacks, frozen fish etc. MyLidl is good for extra promotions. Egg prices at $1.09 a dozen as of May 29th 2023 - what a bargain! Staff does a good job.

Well it seems that the store does try to make some tiny improvements incrementally, but overall this dollar-esque store will never be a real supermarket. There are certain things, certain staples that are still relatively cheap but otherwise Lidl is a complete waste of time the quality is supar and supar so you get what you pay for.

I love the store because of the fruits and vegetable varieties. I like the cheese many European choices although in Aldi there are more varieties. The lamb grounded meat is great in Lidl and they have so many promotions for grass fed meat. You can also find butter and cheese from grass fed cows which is great. There is also parking which is a huge bonus.

Kind of confused as to why this little gem is only rated 2.5 stars. If you are an Aldi fan, you will love Lidl more (they have a fresh bakery section AND booze). The product section is a little sparse and I personally would like to see more seafood options. I read some reviews noting that there are some days where the merchandise hasn't been restocked yet but I personally have never experienced any "empty days" that I oftentimes have encountered at my local Aldi's. I especially love the European section as there is a special emphasis on Greek, French, and Italian products. There are also tiny little shopping carts for children to push around too.

Amazing prices always clean quick checkouts. The app helped so much with savings as well. If you download them, you will get so many coupons automatically attached couldn't ask for more.

Not too many people were there when we went so we were able to take our time browsing the aisles. I liked that they sold loaves of bread and that you can have it cut into the number of slices you want. They have a bread cutting machine with three different settings (for # of slices). I was worried that the shelves would be barren due to some of the reviews here but I guess it depends on when you go. Went on an early Saturday morning and everything was in stock (milk, eggs, meat, produce, etc.).

It's been over a year since shopping at this particular Lidl. Use to come here several times a week, but not as much cause I shop local. Shopping at this particular Lidl here is a hit or miss. Shelves can be barren while other times it can be filled with products. Yes, feels like shopping at warehouse. Be careful of stacked boxes and people moving products in front of you. Some days it can be an obstacle course going from one aisle to another. Staff does not seem to care when they throw empty boxes to the metal bins. So look out for flying boxes. Always check the weekly circular for latest sale items for those are the best buys. There are limits to certain sale items. Weekend deals are not the same price during the week. Get the app for more discount and deals. Since this is not a huge store and items in the freezer are stocked right next to each other. Make sure you check the prices. This goes for the checkout area too. Check your produce to make sure they in good condition. Apples, oranges, mangoes can be overly ripe and some spoiled. Really like the bakery in the beginning. Now, the jelly donuts just don't have much filling in them. Instead of two squirts got one squirt instead. Hit or miss at the cash register when checking out. Some staff say hello while others just rings you up. It's not the friendliest bunch here.

Edit: I went back and read this review and I have to make a suggestion: the baked goods are actually bomb!

Prices go up, up, and up. Products worse and worse. Bought 4 out of 15 items. This store even had Brunswick stew and now, none. Counter line slow. Lost my business. Fired.

Whoever gave this grocery store 1 or 2 stars are definitely being a "petty Labelle" and is a hater...lol mad at something that is probably out of the store's control. Like a rack of lamb is 20 something bucks, of course it's going to be OOS. My suggestion would be to download the app, it'll help manage your expectations as it gives you real time information on OOS and low on stock items. I come here once a month from BROOKLYN (a trek) and once I discovered this place I've never done my grocery shopping anywhere else. Free parking, great service, the app creates a bomb shopping list with exactly which aisle your products are located ...C'monnnn Aldi could never! The ONLY complaint I have about Lidl is it's freezing inside there! Besides that, Go Here!

Yesterday we popped into Lidl in between our breakfast and lunchtime reviewing schedule. Now that we have an auto, shopping has become a lot easier as this supermarket is far out of the way for most Astoria residents. We purchased two sets of salmon steaks for $20 each, which was quite a bargain,

I enjoy shopping here. The prices are lower than other grocery stores and supermarkets. There is a wide variety of options, too. The store is large enough where I'm not bumping into other customers.

Huge parking lot and selection. Excellent prices and a unique selection that I can't find at other supermarkets.

Great supermarket addition to this part of Queens. This is the first LIDL in QUEENS. Now I don't have to drive all the way to Long Island. Parking was very crowded. Good prices on groceries. This was opening day so everything is almost perfect. Plenty of stuff to help and plenty of cashiers. BUT customers are confused and in a daze. I got pushed and bumped and almost run over by their shopping carts. Do look for their weekly and weekend specials. The restrooms are clean!

I was torn between 3 and 3.5 stars, but there is no half a star so I had to give three stars. I'm a fan of Aldi and I always wanted to stop here. I live around 20 minutes away and I was in the area. Me and my daughter stopped in during the week and it wasn't crowded at all. I didn't find empty shelves like others stated, everything was well stocked. The prices here are not Aldi prices (I know it's Lidl), in fact it was more. I was a little disappointed that I just knick picked and bought a few things. Better prices at Stop and Shop! What I will say is there meats are super fresh and I tasted the difference. Way more tender than the regular supermarkets. For this fact alone, if I was in the neighborhood I would stop here. Cashiers were nice, and parking lot was convenient.

Coronavirus Diary Day 419 - 5/7/2021 Yup, this Leedle is a little underwhelming compared to others in Long Island or New Jersey. Like other reviews, this store seems to be big from the outside, but then you walk in and see the produce and bake goods sections, they look like half-sized of the other stores. I usually go to Lidl for dairy products and meat, but this time I didn't get any meat because of its prices. 2% milk, half & half and cheeses prices are somewhat reasonable. And, of course, I have to check out the beer aisle. They've got some imported Hefeweizen there. I'm going to give it a try next time. Overall, it's okay for the most anticipated store in Astoria. (Well, Target is opening up soon!) Thank god they lure you in with coupons; otherwise, I'll think twice before I shop here.

This is my 1st day here & I bought 2 fresh jelly donuts at 79 cents each. Look at the jelly....you need a magnifying glass to see it. This is really horrible. Do not buy jelly donuts because if you look at my photo ...this is what you may get. Absolutly no jelly & all dough. Steer clear away from them.Someone was asleep at the jelly station at Lidl. Not worth the price. Shame on you Lidl supermarket for screwing new customers.

I want to love this place so bad but I simply cannot for the sheer fact that there is never any food in stock. I understand speciality items but basics like lettuce and meat being out of stock constantly is ridiculous. This place is so unreliable. See the pictures below from today.

Weirdest grocery store I ever been to. Everything is off brand and they don't have much of a variety to even choose from.

The customer service at the register is terrible. I often recycle my water bottles from lidl and put them towards the purchase. However the machines never accept the bottles. The cashier and manager were very rude to me and gave me a very hard time to accept them. The woman cashier was arguing with me saying she will Not take them. I had to ask her to call the manager which she should have done from the beginning. The manager told my husband this is not my Problem my only problem is to buy my cigarettes and beer. The bottle machines are owned by a private company. This type of behavior is not acceptable and really the service is terrible. They are very disrespectful and I won't go back. They need to remember we can go to other supermarkets and we are customers.

Oh my... Where to even start with this one. Lidl is well known all over Europe; it's basically a direct competitor to Aldi. When I came across an article stating Lidl was opening in Queens, I saved the date and prepped for our treacherous journey over the East River hoping and praying to Yahweh himself that these East Coast have fresh bakeries similar to their Euro sisters. Had the trip been worth it? Absolutely. This store replaced Best Market which certainly offered a more compelling produce section but the prices are so much more affordable and the quality seems to have skyrocketed comparatively. Expect to pay 1/5th the price you're typically used to spending elsewhere. I can't count how many times I've purchased stale foods or products at Best Market. After reading a few previous reviews here, I'm not quite sure my fellow NYers understand the concept of Lidl and need to look elsewhere. Ladies, this is NOT your typical box grocery store. Basic name brands are scattered throughout, though Lidl has supplied their own labels that seem to exceed other well known products in quality, taste and value. Here's something to give you an overall idea of what to expect... 1. Fresh meat / seafood departments? NO 2. Fresh and frozen packaged meat / seafood? YES 1. Massive produce selection carrying 86 different potato varieties? WRONG 2. Produce essentials (majority locally sourced) and perhaps a few exotic additions? CORRECT 1. Euro bakery department serving your hand crafted Tarte Au Citron? Citarella is calling your name. 2. Fresh baked aisle consisting of breads, croissants and desserts? Mmmhhm Now that I've provided an entry level idea on what to expect, decide for yourself whether this Euro-ish store is right for you. As for this Upper West Side Lady, Lidl is a godsend to Queens and neighboring communities. Also, be on the lookout for an Upper Manhattan / Tribeca location in the coming months.

This store continues to be under-stocked and checkout is horrendously inefficient. There always seems to be an issue with coupons and savings.

Wish I could give less than one star. Early in the morning, around 2am, on 12/4, ten weeks after a Lidl bound freight truck smashed up my car, and another parked car, making my life an unpleasant and weeks-long journey back to near-normal, another freight truck delivering to Lidl did the exact same thing and smashed up my finally-repaired car (and one other). My husband and I were suppose to drive to Nebraska for an extended holiday visit with family after not seeing them in over a year and we're completely at a loss as to what to do now. Lidl being here has wrecked our car twice and now our holiday plans. My husband to chase the truck down the street as he drove away from the scene of the accident that he created. We've been enjoying Lidl since it opened. Walking the few blocks down to the store, perusing the aisles, picking up a few things we never see in other stores. But never again. Never again will we shop at a store that blatantly disregards the healthy and safety of the neighborhood it claims to care for (we live across the street from a middle school and a park!) and also throws their vendors so quickly under the bus. To claim to have no knowledge of what kind/ length of trucks their vendors use is typical big corporate ass covering and while I'm not shocked, I'm so disappointed and disgusted. My husband and I have now had to spend $1,000's on a rental car so we can start our planned trip to visit our ailing family member while Lidl's response is "not our responsibility," even though they contracted to this trucking company, Schnieders, who used an illegally sized 53' truck. Thanks Lidl, for all you do.

Very disappointed in this store. I am German and I thought there would be more German products than what I see. I have gone to Lidl stores in Maryland find plum pies and Bienenstich cake, but yet to find it in a lidl's in New York. I also have a problem with the rolls pretzels and baguette bread most of the time I find they are over done. Another issue is outdated cold cuts. The employees are not the friendliest, maybe someone from headquarters should check out this store or have personal shoppers to see what's going on.

Woof. This place is pretty awful. Their produce and meat is frequently rotten. They never really have much of anything that anyone wants anyway. The best thing this place could do for the neighborhood would be to close so a decent supermarket could open and take its spot. Lidl gets four thumbs down.

Not a store where I do my main shopping but mainly will stop here just to bridge over if I need something fast. Like their bread selection but to find bug infested romaine lettuce bag, unacceptable! Will never ever step foot in this appalling place!

I was incredibly excited to see a Lidl I could visit without paying a toll. My friend from Astoria and I headed over for some grocery gathering. As Lidl is, we did. Breads, baked goods, fruits and nuts were in the baskets within the first 10 minutes. Snagging a basket here is a little tough, it gets really busy. I got a lot of food, snacks and even a pair of Harry Potter pj's! All for this low Lidl prices!

Bought some onions in a bag came back home and found three that were completely putrid. What's their refund policy again? Ridiculous.

Best prices in town! Worst shopping experience, which says a lot. No matter what time you go they are restocking shelves. It's crowded because of the prices and the lack of other grocery stores in the area. I really like a lot of their products. But being in the store is anxiety inducing. I literally took my pulse today. The check out experience is probably the worst in the business. No baggers (I used to be a bagger in a grocery) which probably helps their prices... And they have two areas to slide groceries. So as you hurriedly bag your groceries they have started on the next customer making you feel like you are now in the way and not welcome! I miss Best Market. It was literally the best in the city.

Today was my first visit to Lidl. The prices here are great! For the same amount of groceries, I spent about half the amount of money than I would normally spend at KeyFood or C-Town (or other markets in Astoria). In terms of available products and prices, this store sort of reminds me of Trader Joes. Unfortunately, something is seriously wrong with the employees/management at this store. When I was standing in line to pay for my items, the large/heavy white bearded male cashier (wearing his mask below his nose) was arguing with an elderly woman because she nicely asked him to slide her groceries down the front/closer lane of the bagging divider, instead of the farther lane. He told her a million reasons why it didn't make sense for him to do that, instead of simply accommodating her request. After that, the woman was upset and was asking why he couldn't just use the closer lane and he just kept talking back to her. This cashier had a really bad attitude!!! I seriously could not believe he just kept talking back to an elderly woman!!! I don't understand why he simply couldn't just nicely accommodate her?! She clearly is elderly and it's easier for her to carry heavy items into her cart if they are closer to her. I think the cherry on top of this whole situation, was when the cashier THREW the woman's receipt at her. To which she threw it right back at him and told him not to throw the receipt at her (good for her!). I really hope Lidl holds their employees/management to a higher standard because I won't be coming back here (despite the good prices) if this is how they treat customers.

Unfortunately I wish I could give no stars. As for pricing it's reasonable, considering you getting no name brands BUT still worth it. This is where I get pissed off, this happened to me a couple of times and I don't understand it. The cashiers either wait till last minute to ask management for money to work with or they do it on purpose. My bill was a total of $7.07 I had only $20.06 but the cashier refused to let it slide for a Penny, which I'm fine with BUT the audacity to tell me she has no change to give me so she wanted to give me back 12 dollars. I was like are you kidding me!? You didn't let it slide for a penny but want to short change me 93 cents?! Another thing I noticed was they charge for bags even if your on food stamps. Where all the other supermarkets don't.

Two times in past couple months the steaks I've gotten here have been rancid (vacuum sealed and not close to expiration date).

Oh, how I will forever miss Best Market!! I shopped at Lidl for the first (and likely last) time this past Sunday afternoon because I was excited to give them a try, and I found this store to be an over-hyped disappointment. I managed to find (note: settle for/substitute) only 25% of the items on my shopping list, and when I got home I had to scrap my original dinner plans and place an Amazon Fresh order to supplement everything I did not purchase at Lidl. Frankly, the way the store is laid out reminds me of a labyrinth, and the produce section is a nightmare-- whatever sad selection of fruits and vegetables that was available for purchase was piled in boxes on the floor, and produce that should be refrigerated for freshness (e.g., carrots, broccoli crowns) was nowhere near refrigeration and therefore lukewarm and limp to the touch. There were several associates that appeared to be in the process of stocking produce while I was there, but someone needs to get a handle on this place operationally. There were stacks and stacks of unopened produce boxes scattered around the area (and far away from refrigeration), while row after row of the refrigerated section sat empty. In some cases, the few remaining containers of produce (e.g., grapes) actually contained rotten fruit. Having observed the lack of basic refrigeration and hygiene in the produce section alone, I chose to forego the meat department altogether to avoid further possible disappointment, so I cannot speak to quality or price of meats. I also did not make it to the bakery section (maybe it is near the meats?). Eventually, when I saw bins of sneakers and area rugs for sale as I approached the dairy section, I knew this grocery shopping trip was truly doomed. I cruised up and down the rest of the aisles, settling here and there for substitutes for the basic items I was looking for-- coffee, olive oil, oat milk, peanut butter-- and going entirely without most other items on my list. The checkout experience was easy and there was no wait to pay. The cashier was pleasant enough as he scanned my items and then shoved them toward me, and he shouted to other cashiers as he watched me struggle to bag things up as quickly as I could. I spent just over $60 and received a coupon for $10 off $30 during my next visit, which likely won't occur.

I live in Astoria and I was shopping at a local organic shop on Broadway which I like for the quality and prices. I met a woman and she was looking for coconut oil so I directed her to it. We started chatting. She told me about how wonderful Lidl is and the prices were great. Well I had to take a trip to Lidl. What a waste of time. The prices were higher than expected! I don't mind paying for good quality foods. But there's a limit. I'll never go back.

I can't stop coming to this store! They have great prices and options. I agree you do have to come early to get the weekend and any deals, otherwise they'll be gone in the afternoon. I have had a problem twice at the checkout with the ice cream as they didn't have the sale price that was advertised in their flyer. You need to keep an eye on that. The staff is helpful and friendly. The supermarket is clean. I enjoy the fact that I can just walk to this place. Love it! Also, it's the only place in NYC where they play country music, lol.

Pros: Level floors (my cart used to roll everywhere at Best Market) AFFORDABLE Great to have a store for eggs and milk that won't overcharge Fresh bread variety Cons: Currently experiencing stocking issues. Racks are empty. Have been a few times and the non perishables are seriously lacking. Expect about two mustards, one type of box cake mix, etc. If you have a specific product in mind, high likelihood they don't carry it.

Don't have enough sale items in stock...I went for "on sale "meat items on the afternoon that the sale started and nothing..This happens 2 weeks in a row. Stock people move in slow motion.

Like other reviewers have mentioned the staff members are gormless idiots wanting to do the bare minimum, or quite simply nothing at all. The prices are cheap but restocking seems to be a huge issue. Avoid for your mental well-being.

We love Lidl, not too many people know about this place yet hence it not being super crowded yet. We found a Lidl in Suffolk and was thrilled they opened one close by! I live for their fiber Lemon bars I have 1 every morning with my coffee. I also get flowers from here when I can't get them from TJ. Lines are not bad, however not sure how it is on the weekends since we go on weekdays after work. Everything is priced well, super happy they opened one in Queens.

Probably one of the worst experience I've had going grocery shopping in Astoria avoid place at all cost only reason I go is Parking Lot with adequate parking

I don't know why I keep giving this place a try. I see the flyer and it looks decent even though it's very limited. I get there and almost everything looks like shit, but not to waste a trip I find a few things and go to the register where 1 out of 5 cashiers treats people like human beings.There's a tall girl there that is actually intimidating and always makes mistakes charging double for items or finding reasons not to give you a sales prices, she actually screamed at me because her register wasn't registering the sale and she refused to do anything about it. No one around to help actually I should say they don't want to. Who ever is in charge here have a meeting it's imperative. I always want a business to succeed but I really wish a descent supermarket would be put in its place.

Awful selection. Poorly organized. Like shopping at a dollar store for food. Hopefully it won't last long. Destroyed an otherwise fine supermarket.

I went there last month, I didn't buy anything and I have no plans of going back. The majority of boxed/canned goods are generic. The dairy section is entirely generic. The produce section was tiny. The bakery section seemed average. The section that had the most name brands was the frozen section, but the prices on the name brands were high and I could find better deals at the other grocery stores. I didn't look at the meat section. I guess I was expecting it to be like Dollar General (name brands at cheap and cheerful prices) but with more food, but that's not the case. For generic brands, I could go to any other grocery store and buy their store brands for a similar price. I'd rather do one trip to any other grocery store and get a mix of generic and name brands at the same time, rather than be limited to only one choice (generic or name brand). The pro is that the aisles are really wide, you could get 3 people with shopping carts going down the same aisle at once, you wouldn't have to worry about bumping into other customers. The con is that there's very little variety and selection in those aisles and it would be better if they had more aisles, the aisles were closer, and they had more selection in those aisles. This is worse than Best Market (and worse than the Waldbaums that was there before Best Market). For some reason, the store layout reminds me of Bed, Bath and Beyond.

The store is nice, prices are low of course. Reason for the low review is the checkout area. What happens is a massive line forms in the aisle behind cashier 1, people assume it is a main line. In other lanes people just walk up to the other cashiers, cutting the people in the enormous line and nobody sees since they are in an aisle. I've been 3 times and still don't know which is right. 1 of the 3 times a manager organized and called out which cashier was next to the "main" line, the other 2 times managers saw it and walked away. People arguing over cutting, where to line up, once about 6 foot spacing. It is just miserable chaos when it gets busy and not worth it. Going to give the location a few more tries but if it continues that way I'm just going to shop elsewhere.

I lived in Berlin, Germany for 3 years and shopping at Lidl was a weekly part of my life. In Germany lidl was the discount store , small, good for cabinet staples, fresh bread and inexpensive organic produce. The Astoria store had similar vibes but obviously not the same. I was disappointed with the bread selection I know Americans don't honor bread like Europeans but we all bread. The bread section had multiple typical American processed bread products. There was fresh bread about 3 types and pretzels but not even close to the variety. Lidls management Americana line bread also. Bread is cheap to make and you have the recipe. Offer more selection and offer more of the fresh rolls ( not Hawaiian rollls full of preservatives !). It will be a hit. Other lacking area was the beer section. Lidl has a lot of generic beers that I'm sure are fine. I just wanted more variety. I also feel there was a lot of empty shelf space. Water section was lacking large sparking water. Perhaps shipping issues but I just wanted more options. Now what I loved. The cheese selection is very good and I expensive. Prices: quality ratio is steller. Also their Italian expresso is a steal and taste great. They also had Bio ( organic) flax seed oil and hemp seed oil for 1/4 of the price I've seen elsewhere. The meat selection is good and prices for chicken abs steak were great. Veggie , fruit & dairy section was also good. Their home and seasonal clothes section is good and I always found similar steals in Germany. My total bill: items purchased was more cost efficient than shop rite, or Trader Joe's. I'm traveling from The Bronx open more store in NYC I'll come back next month

I love this market. It has been my new go to with their selections, great produce, organic meats and especially their prices. Staff are super friendly and helpful.

Feels like buying from a warehouse, but without the quality items. Everything non-brand taste "strange". Good fresh baked good though and the prices low. Still I rather a better quality supermarket.

Great items for good prices. I enjoy the fresh breads, organic meats & seafood. Fruits, vegetables are priced well. The store is organized, clean just remember to bring your own bags. Nice selection on plants. Public transportation by bus only.

Honestly After reading some reviews I felt compelled to leave one. To be fair I have only been one time in passing. Astoria def needed a market aside from trade fair! Costco isn't too far off but let's face it who needs large quantities that have been known to be thrown out . I literally was able to purchase 4 pieces of 100% grass fed steaks for 23 dollars on special, the same cut or steak they would charge you 42 for at a restaurant. Sliced organic cheese, organic peppers, I admit probably not as big or organized as the syosset location. According to pictures and reviews some locations have an abundance of what they lack elsewhere. Over all it's not that bad, with the right management and stocked products this place can be & will be amazing esp the affordability for families. Hope it continues to grow. I am sure even if Whole Foods or Trader Joe's opened there would still be complaints.

Usually shop here twice a week but at minimum once every week. Usually this store is a good experience. Usually has the product or equivalent to the brand I am looking for. Usually spent $100- 200 a week here. I like the affordable cost on bakery and other products. Some products are higher priced. The staff needs some attitude adjusting and customer experience training. Cashiers often double charge me for a product so I always review the receipts. One cashier always complains the product is not in the system and she is not "dealing with this". Twice I bought products with a signs stating a sale price but at the register it was full price only to find out the sign was last weeks sale. The manger would not approve the sign price. Last time I showed the manger two different displays Both with the sale price of last week and still stated last weeks sale. Then you should take down the signs! I left disgusted.

Clean, spacious and good prices. Most products are store brand and selection of some things are limited. E. G., I needed canned artichokes and pancetta but they didn't stock. Since this was only day 2 of opening some things were sti missing. The sales stuff was great. You can buy a tent here!

A real mixed bag. Having been to Aldi, I was curious about Lidl, which I had heard was a competitor. While it has more stuff and variety than Aldi, it's still never going to be a one-stop shop for me the way that Trader Joe's is. The good stuff: So many cheeses, bacon, meats, and seafood (reasonably priced). A large variety of breads and a bakery with a lot of freshly baked goods. A huge variety of chips and snack foods. Lidl brand whole milk Greek yogurt is priced much lower than you'll find whole milk Greek yogurt almost anywhere else. Great prices on German chocolate. The lowest price for coconut flour that I've seen anywhere. The not so good stuff: If you like eating organic fruits and veg, not much in that way here. I was able to find organic grape tomatoes and zucchini - that's it. One of the staples I had come in for was oat milk. They only had Planet Oat, and the price wasn't awful, but not that good. The variety was random. For instance, they had fresh basil, but no cilantro. In the spice section, they had a fair number of spices, but no paprika. They had Dave's Killer Bread muffins (which I don't often see) but the price was on the higher side. Basic things, like wraps/tortillas, I could not find - I guess they're all about the carbier options:-) Probably not a bad place to stop in if you live close, or have run out of some basic staples, or want to stock up on snacks for a road trip (the garlic cheddar cheese curds are FAB) but not a place where I could do a month's shopping - that remains Trader Joe's.
