Lido Harlem Restaurant

I brought my boyfriend here to celebrate his birthday and it was also our first time visiting. We made a reservation and were seated promptly. Service was excellent. We enjoyed the bottomless mimosas and the server made sure to keep them coming. Food was delicious and the restaurant it spacious and super nice. I really appreciate the clean bathrooms as well. Overall 10/10 and will definitely be back to try the dinner menu!

Harlem’s Rarest Gem! From the ambience to the hospitality and the food we were floored. Everything was delicious!! The staff seemed to move seamlessly. This is a definite must go. Our host Ben was a true sweetheart. Add this place to your must do list!!

The atmosphere was vibrant with patrons looking happy to be nestled into their seats, enjoying food, drinks and fellowship. The wine was lovely and the eggplant parmesan was light and cheesy with a bed of tangy tomato sauce. I really wanted to try the grilled kale salad but shared a Caesar salad with my mom instead. She had a simple but delicious spaghetti and meatballs. We liked our short but enjoyable visit to Lido.

First time at Lido and I loved everything. I’m lactose intolerant, request a cream-free spaghetti and they were great to offer me a yummy version. Wine list is great and the music is perfect to enjoy a beautiful evening. No reservation needed.

Lido has been one of my favorite places to eat in Harlem for a good 3-4 years now. I love the clean feel of the space and I enjoy how quiet it can be during the week… great for dining alone! All items on the menu are created by author Chef Serena Bass who creates delicious menus , which change with the seasons, and everything, including desserts, are made in-house by Chef Bass and her team. The Spaghettini Arrabiata I can have all day everyday, of course I won’t but it’s delicious. Those noodles are perfection and the grilled shrimp are actually grilled 🫶🏼 The basil really completes this dish for me✨ The creamy Parmesan garlic bread is also delicious, the crab cake delicious (it’s unique).. we just need like one more portion of each 🤞🏽😂 The calamari were fresh and although fried they weren’t hard but airy… we like that over here! The was the best white sangria I ever had btw, just saying !

We had an amazing experience. The food did not disappoint, and the service was top-notch. Our food arrived quickly and hot. The smells were crazy, I had my food but wanted everyone else's. The biscuit was delectable, I wanted to bring 100 of them home. Will definitely return.

I usually choose to eat out more exotic food (aka Asian food since I am completely incapable to prepare it myself). However, my daughter wanted to take me out and had no doubts that I will like Italian food at Lido. She was right. Every single dish or cocktail was a level above ordinary. La Pera cocktail had a strong pear scent, tomato sauce had orange zest (which was surprisingly appropriate in squid ink linguine), kale salad was amazing, olive oil that came with baguette was scrumptious, the rum in tiramisu made it the best tiramisu I have ever tried! And please make sure to try garlic bread (if you are not counting calories)!

We did the Brunch menu and the unlimited mimosas for $20 each 90mins . Wife had the Smoke salmon Benedict, I had the Braised short rib hash. Both dishes were delicious and plated well. We also split an order Blueberry pancakes delicious. For dessert we ordered the warm bread pudding and molten chocolate run cake. Each dish was delicious and priced right. We will be back to try dinner

Love this place. The decor is beautiful and the price is just right. I would differently recommend. I would make one suggestion and that is they need to expand the breakfast oltions.

Four of us, spanning 3 generation came for late lunch and it did not fail to impress. Mind you we passed the aroma of fried fish and crisp chicken on the walk there so we were hungry . One semi vegetarian, and the rest of us picky eaters( no pork, quality protein, salads with out kale, etc) There were ample choices for all. Service was prompt and efficient for mid afternoon. We chose to sit on the sunny patio in comfy albeit spartan chairs . There were a few other diners enjoying the weather. Black and white photos of known stars and luminaries flanked the walll in the dining room. I had chicken accompanied by a beet salad and goat cheese croquette which was awesome!!!! Could have eaten three of the iniquitous little dumplings! The chicken breast was pounded thin, nicely seasoned but dry as pounded chicken breast can be . Bathrooms were in the back and sparkling clean! I'd go back for a different dish tho

Great brunch spot! Came here with a couple people for brunch and was not disappointed. They have bottomless mimosas for brunch and it's a great deal! Our waiter was amazing and was always super attentive. The meals themselves were also delicious! We tried a couple of their benedicts and the braised short rib one in particular was so flavorful and unique. Will definitely be coming back here in the future as it's a cute spot with great food and super friendly staff!

Lido is a guaranteed, tried & true good time. One of the brunch establishments where you can actually converse with your neighbor but a guaranteed quality meal with great service & atmosphere. Whether in their outdoor dining cove, inside or at the bar, you can't go wrong with seating. Def make a reservation because they do get packed pretty quickly. Note that I've only dined during brunch hours but if this is how they handle brunch then I have no doubt their dinner is even more extensive. My go to order: Spaghetti & Veal Meatballs, the Arugula Salad & Creamy Parmesan Garlic Bread. 10/10. No notes.

I loved this place! They have a heated enclosure outside, they enclosed the front porch that makes a nice seating area, they have a nice big bar, and a cozy dining room. We came for brunch. The options were amazing! I had a hard time deciding. We definitely took advantage of the bottomless mimosas. The service was good and everyone was friendly. I would definitely go back.

The service and ambiance were great. I enjoyed my food, but did leave with a lingering want for just a little more flavor and seasoning. I would try this restaurant again in hopes of received a slightly elevated flavor profile with my next dish.

Came here for an early lunch on Juneteenth. Lido was packed! Indoor and outdoor minimal tables were available. We had reservations so as soon as we walked in we were seated We sat at a high table which quickly became uncomfortable. Also it was a hot summer day and the temperature inside could've been cooler. After scanning the menu I decided to go with fried calamari as my appetizer and grilled chicken caeser salad as my entree. The calamari lacked flavor BUT the dipping sauce was bomb. Totally made the dish better. The salad was ok but I wasn't a fan of the dressing. My waiter checked in once.... Anytime we needed something we had to flag him down. The service and food were both lackluster.

Good selection of appetizers as well as entrees and drinks, everything was delicious! Their calamari was perfectly cooked and paired well with the sauce provided. Their braised short rib pappadelli entree was fresh, cooked to perfection, the meat was soft. The Spaghettini Arrabiata with Grilled Shrimp was a bit spicy, which I guess expected, and very savory! The shrimp was perfectly semi burnt but not overcooked, soft and juicy! Their Steak with sweet potato entree was pretty big in size, and even though we really enjoyed it, we had to take leftovers home! We celebrated a birthday and their service was very friendly, brought out a dessert with a candle and we were able to sing happy birthday; very cute and appreciated - thank you! We went on a Sunday, right when they start dinner and the place was pretty calm, with people trickling in slowly. I really liked their interior decor as well, unexpected for an Italian restaurant but we loved it!

Wow, Lido made a great first impression. Everything was delicious-the chicken piccata was well seasoned and the flourless chocolate cake was divine. I can't wait to try again whenever I'm uptown.

Some thoughts: - needs bread - portion sizes could be larger - poor service, not very attentive I have a pretty low benchmark for attentive service is that my water glass should never be empty and I drink a lot of water My boyfriend got the the squid ink linguini, which included some pieces of seafood. He's always happier to have some variety of texture, such as calamari and shrimp in the pasta; and the shrimp tails were already removed, which is a noticeable bonus. I got the spaghetti which was flavorful but far too small. We liked the bright and open-air feeling of the room's atmosphere, although I'm sure this was helped by the slower weekday lunch timeframe of our visit. I can imagine the seating would quickly get cramped and difficult pros: tasty food, nice atmosphere, cozy seating cons: portion for the price, poor service that day, when does "cozy" become "cramped" 3.5

Lido is the place to be in Harlem! Met here with a friend for brunch and had a great time. Customer service was friendly -- didn't feel like I was being rushed out. Overall really nice vibe. I ordered the salmon salad which looked beautiful but lacked seasoning. Apple tart and biscuit were also a bit messy to eat. They have some great menu items and am excited to come back to try some of their entrees.

Amazing. The service was great. I had the bottomless mimosas and before I even finished my drink it was refilled. The food was delicious and it was a super cute place. The veal meatballs and garlic parmesan bread were to die for. Please stop by for brunch because I will be back.

First time I was here the food and service was great. I recommended the spot to many friends and coworkers. Had company from out of town come to this establishment. So it pains me to write this. (Picture is from first time I was here) I walk in to sit with a group of friends that already had dinner here. By the time I get in, I was only allowed to order take out. They claim that the table was needed by 8, but didn't even come to give us the check until 20 minutes after so not sure how true that was. When I got in I was asked by a guy if I wanted to see the restaurant week menu or the regular menu. I said both of them. Then he calls a women over who seemed like the owner, not sure, and she asked me the same question. You thought I was joking or something? I tell them both of them again and it's quickly brought over and she just walked away. The energy was very off and I did not appreciate it.

French toast (upper left) and Sicilian omelette (lower right). Both dishes were very yummy with a refreshing dollop of fresh whipped cream and lightening berries. French toast was nice and sweet while the omelette was a nice savory and bright bite. The salad was a light and refreshing addition to the omelette and the bread accompaniment was a surprising mouthful of flavor, grilled with seasoned oil. We also ordered the rosé sangria and original mimosa. The sangria was a nice sweet addition to the French toast, very complimentary. The mimosa would be a great addition to any order.

Lido: A very packed and busy restaurant. The ambiance and vibes were nice and felt upscaled. Food Salad: Arugula, roasted pears, toasted walnuts, white parmesan with white balsamic vinaigrette -Wasn't too big fan of this combination. I didn't think the sweetness of the pears matched well with the dressing and flavor of arugula. Just not my cup of tea. Entree: Gnocchi w/ truffle butter The gnocchi was pretty good. Very creamy, chewy and flavorful. Very simple dish with not much components but executed nicely. Service was good, no complaints. Very attentive and friendly throughout whole service.

We love this place. Mostly their mussel dish. We get it Everytime. It's perfectly spicy and the sauce goes great with the bread. The beans are a plus. Also their brussel sprouts are amazing and drinks are always strong

Really enjoyed my experience at Lido. I had the eggplant parm and garlic bread with a crisp glass of Sauvignon blanc. The eggplant was flavorful and delicious! I would have loved a side of pasta (didn't realize it was served without it). Service was speedy and efficient. Ambiance was trendy and relaxed; I love the lounge style booth seating. Overall, fantastic!

Came with a friend for birthday brunch. The poached eggs were perfectly cooked and the sautéed spinach was filling and delicious. The kitchen was able to accommodate my request for no potatoes and extra spinach, which was awesome. The price for 2, both with drinks was VERY reasonable. A good find!

Had an unexpected sexy lunch here (or should I say brunch?) Not really sure but any way, let me begin with I enjoyed myself. Was a bit disappointed with my server (she needs to be retrained) The food was YUMMY.. I checked the reviews and went anyway (I was on the fence) decided to jump on out there and see for myself. I'm GLAD I did.

Yummm! I definitely need to make it a habit and explore harlem a little bit more! Stumbled upon this gem and really happy that I tried it out. Really nice service and also great food. We got the bottomless mimosas, which are STRONG lol! I got the Sicilian Omelette which was very good and a side of potatoes. I do think that they were both very oily, but besides that I really enjoyed the meal. My friend got the blueberry pancakes which were delicious! I do think they could have added more blueberries though! Definitely will be back!

The space was amazing , the food was so damn good and the staff really made my experience super memorable! I celebrated two years of being cocaine free and I will never forget this day! Thank you to everyone there who made it special!

Came in for brunch. The food was really really good, I got the braised beef Benedict and it was seriously unlike anything i've ever had before. I will definitely come back for dinner. The inside in a tad tight but not anything out of the ordinary in NYC dining. The restaurant overall is very cute and the service is amazing. Our waitress had wonderful recommendations.

OVERALL: charming dimlit romantic restaurant that serves delicious food, amazing service and good vibes. lido is definitely a place i would recommend GOOD: i've been here a couple times and they have a great daring menu and everything is delicious! i had the grilled atlantic salmon, tarragon bearnaise, root vegetable puree, sautèed spinach and my friends had brussel sprouts housemade organic ricotta, double smoked bacon and roasted baby ny lamb chops, yukon gold potato gratin, grilled asparagus, plum chutney everything was so good. the food pricing and proportions for manhattan were not bad. i mean it can get really expensive in nyc. BAD: the drink menu however was way overpriced. it's a popular restaurant so we did wait a little long for the food . MUST TRY : flourless molten chocolate dark rum cake, with salted caramel gelato and the salmon fritters with chipotle aioli

Delicious. Needed a meal stat and got my hands on a steak and some calamari. The owner was obviously in charge and ensured my meal arrived on time. All seamless. So often I find myself ready to be disappointed but not here. My food was piping hot and delish. Would def come back.

I stopped in for a late lunch on a Tuesday afternoon, and hadn't had pancakes for a long time (almost a year!) so decided to treat myself. The only good thing to come from Covid has been the increase of outdoor dining spaces. I really liked this little patio area and being able to eat out under the sun. I have a pretty high standard for pancakes, and these were not the best, but they were definitely a good stack. The only weird thing is that they have a door for the staff to use, and a door for customers to use, and I was so confused about which door to enter (both doors are right next to each other, and the customer door was closed so I missed it) a waiter snapped at me for trying to go in the wrong door. So don't go in the wrong door lol! Looking forward to coming back to try their non-pancake menu.

Came here for brunch after wanting to try it forever. I can't have orange juice and they weren't able to accommodate me for bottomless brunch to just have champagne or a different juice with it which kind of stunk. But the service was good aside from that and the pasta with meatballs was so flavorful. Plus, the interior was beautiful. Definitely will come again for dinner!

I've been going to Lido for a few years now . It's my go to place when i don't want to travel too far downtown . I often dine alone and i love that i always feel so comfortable here . The food is delicious I've tried so many things off the menu from brunch , lunch , and dinner . The service is great everyone is so friendly and kind . I love that it's good quality food in a beautiful setting and not too expensive still . The drinks do the job every time . They have the best garlic Parmesan bread I've ever had in my life and for brunch the eggs are always perfect . The menu changes seasonally but there's always something great . Hoping they bring the chicken piccata back , but the salmon is amazing also .

Came here for restaurant week and had a great time Pros: - Attentive and friendly waiters - Crostini app was delicious - texture and taste was on point! Definitely coming back for this dish - Center cut pork chop was so juicy and flavorful! - Gnocchi was so creamy and each bite tasted better than the last - The flourless chocolate cake is extremely dense but heated to the right temp so it was perfect Cons: - The bathroom was really hot (felt like the heat was on) and slippery - Indoor tables are placed really close together - Salmon fritters app was okay, texture was there but not a lot of flavor (used a lot of the chipotle aioli sauce) - Black squid ink linguini was a bit on the saltier end, didn't like the red sauce but a lot of seafood in the dish! - Wasn't a big fan of the warm bread pudding (texture threw me off)

I've come here for brunch and dinner. Both meals were barely edible. When we came for brunch the toast was hard as a brick, the eggs were bland and overall it wasn't appetizing. I tried dinner recently and got the octopus (I could barely eat 1 bite, we sent it back because it was so bad). The Caesar salad was actually decent and then we had a fish special. The fish was breaded and soaked in a bland sauce. I was so hungry that I picked the breading off and tried to eat what I could. Sadly, I'll never return but wanted to love Lido.

Originally I gave this place 4 stars for service but this time changed my mind. The service was lovely. Our server was very kind, very attentive. We had the endless mimosas and he constantly refilled ours. The mimosas tasted good and did the job. The food was great as usual. My omelet was flavorful and the bread is to die for. Will recommend.

Go to this restaurant and get the squid ink linguine...you won't regret it! We arrived at our AirBNB in Harlem and found this restaurant nearby. The good reviews did not lie. Not only was the covered patio comfortable, but the staff was inviting and helpful. We all enjoyed our entrees and dessert at a leisurely pace. It's not often one finds a gem like this unexpectedly and it's a joy when it happens!

Customer service was POOR... and pricing was too high especially for the quality - or lack there of - of their food

The ambiance is perfect for an intimate evening or even for a lovely date night. I ordered spaghetti with red sauce and basil. The pasta was fresh and perfectly al dente. There is very limited space though, so try to make a reservation or call in advance for wait times. My server was okay, but could've been just a bit more attentive. Overall a great experience if you're in New York and I'm the mood for sit-down Italian.

On a Sunday was looking for a bottomless brunch and found this place on Open Table. While we weren't able to make a reservation, we decided to walk over anyways. Just a short hop across five avenues...and four streets..made it to the destination ready for some drinks. We grabbed seats at the bar and had Conner as our bartender. Right away started with bottomless mimosas and it really was bottomless. Every time my partner's glass was empty mine was filled up again...so was never empty! Ordered the spaghetti and meatballs and the French toast with a side of bacon. The spaghetti was just ok, really bland. The French toast was delicious, didn't need syrup on every bite..but I've got a sweet tooth so the more the merrier. Bacon could have been more cooked for my taste. While sitting at the bar, I saw two bottles of Harlem Standard and inquired to where they were made. Thinking there could be a distillery in Harlem, Conner read the label and they are made in non-other than...Indiana?!?! Next time will plan a bit more in advance to grab a table, overall great experience.

Came in on a Monday, mid afternoon. No wait, and they had a lunch deal ($14 lunches). And AC :) We got the calamari - which was pretty good! Flavorful batter, great aioli. The chicken burger was pretty good too! Zucchini fries were a little sad - not much in volume, but same batter. Everything came out piping hot so we got the vibes that food was made fresh. Bathroom was super hot though. No cold water in there, and it felt like the heater was on. Also, they seem to have a fly problem, but they only hang out above near the ceiling - we were never bothered by them. Would come back for the lunch special.

Came in on a busy Saturday morning with no reservation and got seated in about 10 minutes. The service was great, bottomless mimosas were strong and the staff did not let our glasses get empty. We had the chicken panini and the Smoked Salmon Benedict. The food was great but I felt like the pesto on the panini had more flavor than the chicken. The Salmon Benedict and rosemary onion potatoes were delish, the buttermilk biscuit and honey butter were to die for. Overall, very good service, great food, and great bottomless mimosas. Would definitely recommend.

Super filling and fun place for a casual dining experience. Had the zucchini fries. The pasta with meatballs and the goat cheese beet salad! I like the first two and the salad was ok. Mainly bc it was wilted. Will definitely come back!

I live walking distance from this place and they never disappoint!!! Ok let's start with drinks Kiwi Breeze is my absolute favorite followed by expresso martini. When they have fresh kiwi to muddle it makes the drink 1000 times even better. As far as food I've almost gone through the whole menu () and its so freaking good! There was nothing that've tried that wasn't. Personal favorites are: APPS Brussel sprouts Creamy Garlic bread Poached pears SALADS Warm arugula salads ENTREE Gnocchi Salmon

This place is always packed, so my mother and I decided to give it a try for brunch one weekend. The menu offers a lot of eclectic brunch options. I tried the eggs Benedict with short rib. It was good, but it was not amazing to me, the flavors were good but overall it was too heavy for a brunch dish. My mother had the gnocchi which, again, I thought was pretty good. They offer unlimited drink options when you're there for brunch. If you're there when it's very busy, expect to be there for a little while, as this place is VERY popular in Harlem. They also offer outdoor seating which I'm hoping to try for a dinner service soon.

Very enjoyable meal. Background music really nice. From Ella to Sly... my husband is chewing and his head is bopping. Great lunch deal you! $14 for a nice selection. Owner Mark showed us his other restaurant of small Asian plates called Bixi. I will try it.

Had brunch here with my friends this wknd. Nice vibes and tasty food. Pros: --Bar tender/server (Conner) was super nice and helpful --we didn't have a reservation, but we were seated quickly at the bar --food was really good, and the perfect portion to be able to finish it all. --$18 bottomless mimosa Cons: --no coat check --a bit crowded, but I guess that's par for the course in the area. We really enjoyed this spot, and I can see myself returning.
