My sister like to get BBQ pork here: crunchy skin and juicy and flavorful meat. Their duck and chicken were also not bad.

Duck looks awesome how they lay it out in an actual tray.. And normally we would have other places just toss everything in a foam box and that's it lol. But this is actually nice. 😀 but like many reviews said bout the roasted pork, lol its definitely on the dry side. But awesome duck though.

My moms been coming here forever which means I've been coming here forever. Always gets the duck and pork. Nice crispy skin and delicious as always 😋

We bought 1 bbq perking duck today ,requested to cut big pieces (12) And they’re put in this box we ask for the normal tray they said I put in this box you want to buy it or not I don’t care, and whole employee there which is all their families was yelling on my mom, she was scared And pay it, if were like me I’m not going to getting it. So be aware when you come to this place very….. bad customer service and getting a bones bbq duck with over charge money too.

This is a go to place when craving for roasted duck, peking duck or salted chicken and crispy pork shoulder or belly. The location is on Bolsa and Magnolia, the same parking space of Pho Lovers. This location is always busy and they accept cash only. There is an atm machine inside the store so if you forgot to bring, no big deal. The food is good and the staff are very friendly. I have been going here for 13 years. Definitely recommend this location👍

Good Roast Duck, House Special and Peking. People are nice and friendly and very customer service oriented. Four stars cash only no credit cards.

Roasted duck was so yummy. However, my husband said the lady at the counter was very rude.

Update 12.25.2024. Customer service is horrible. I ordered a duck that I chose, and they chopped different duck from someone else chosen before me and they argued with me is the same duck, ego and stubborn. It happened many times, not just this one. I recommend stay away from this place BAD BAD customer service.

My dad wanted some peiking duck and roast pork, so we stopped by to get some to go. We ended up impulsively buying other stuff too (chili oil pig ears, pork feet, and marinated duck wings). They did a good job marinating and roasting the meats. Everything was flavorful and reasonably priced (compared to San Diego). The staff were quick and friendly. I would recommend this place and come here again.

Love love the shoulder portion of the pig! Ordered this for my sisters dam hoi, when we crave it, atleast every other month, family parties, pretty everything lol definitely our go to place and we refuse to go elsewhere! That's how much we highly recommend. It is cash only. But sooo yummy! Talking about it makes me want it, maybe I'll stop by tomorrow lol

These girls just want to serve little food with rude customer service and argue and they like to talk about customers talk about some loyalty to customers if you hate your job don't work there . No wonder they get less stars and service. If I could give zero stars and report them I can and will

Ordered carry out roasted duck and soy sauce chicken. Pretty solid duck. The chicken was a little dry and I prefer the skin to have a little more soy sauce flavor. -cash only

The old Chinese bbq deli places used to be reluctant to let you order just the rib belly portion. Well no more! This deli's menu is set up so you can order exactly that coveted part of the roast pig. The pork skin here is crispy like a hefty kettle chip, not hard to eat. The pork is well seasoned and has a tender texture and is well lubricated with porky goodness. What an improvement from the olden days. The roast duck was chopped into huge pieces but otherwise tasty and juicy. And the staff are happy to speak English with you to boot even when all take-out business is brisk. Will be back!

THE BEST PLACE TO GET ROASTED DUCK AND ROASTED PIG!! They sell it by the lb which makes for a great dish to serve at parties! For the pig, there are different cuts you can pick from. But let's be honest here we all love a good pork belly, don't we?! Tip: Buy the banh hoi/banh mi to eat with the meats!

I was going around the city to prepare dinner at home last night. The only complaint I had weee how the BBQ Pork was dried.

Lien Hoa BBQ deli is one of the best Chinese bbq period. Been going here since I was little and still is my go to spot for roasted duck, roasted pig, whole chicken in soy sauce, and chicken feet. The roasted duck, the skin is perfectly roasted and has a beautiful color. You can have your roasted duck whole or chopped, most people and myself prefer it chopped. Once they chopped up the roasted duck, they put in a metal tray and pour a scoop of delicious duck sauce all over the roasted duck. I recommend eating the roasted duck with a loaf of bread. My all time favorite item and might the greatest food ever, is the Roasted pork belly. There are 4 types of pork you can order, 1. ham- which is more lean part of the pork. 2. shoulder- semi fatty and boneless 3. rib belly- semi fatty with bone in 4. Boneless pork belly- A must order The 4 boneless pork belly runs out pretty quick so if you do get lucky and they have some, make sure to order it! The pork skin is perfectly crunchy. If it does run out, the 2 shoulder boneless is still good and event he rib belly. I normally eat the Roasted Pork belly with the banh hoi they sale on the counter.

We got a whole duck, it was meaty, juicy, and tasty. Would come back again for the duck or try other items.

When I was a kid we drove to Chinatown Los Angeles to buy Chinese bbq and eat dim sum. I noticed Westminster/Garden Grove has the same foods we bought in Chinatown. On the way home from Rolling Hills Estates I stopped at Lien Hoa. Duck had a delicious flavor from the roasting process and the 5 powder spices used to marinate it. Skin was crispy while the meat was tender and juicy. I loved this roast duck. Roasted quail was $3 for a small bird. A bit dry but there was a delicious wild game flavor. Hard to eat as the quail was very small and there was not alot of meat. Next time I'll have to try the bbq pork and the roast pork. Service was friendly and speedy.

I only come here for the Thit Quay (Crispy Pork), and it's pretty good. The service was quick, attentive, and to the chase. There are 4 different cuts of quality for the crispy pork, each with varying prices that go by the pound. Overall, it's definitely worth coming if you're craving crispy pork or roasted duck! The ambiance is like any asian deli with no seating inside.

Hey Lien Hoa! I want to continue to support you but this is not right! I stopped by your place today to get roasted pork belly and was told to wait for 15 minutes for the new meat. I waited and bought two pounds of pork belly bone in. I drove an hour home to find out none of the pieces is pork belly. Sorry I paid for it and trusted that your business is based on honesty. HUGE DISSAPOINTMENT!!!! Yup..you just lost 1 and many more from me, my friends and family business.

Cash Only! I was recommended here by my cousin and we stopped to grab some whole ducks while we were in the area. They have a lot of fresh items such as whole/half ducks, Peking or roasted, duck feet, tripe, pork head, pork skin/meat, and fried quails. They sale uncooked duck there. Let me tell you, the customer service there is high pace! Before you even order, your order is already ready lol. Great service. Fast pace store. You can tell they go through hundreds of products daily especially on a weekend.

I drove two hours to this deli. Is was just like my childhood. So good. So crunchy. So delicious with the rice noodles and fish sauce. I didn't have an attitude issue with the workers. It's simple, get in and get out. Service was quick and efficient.

Doesn't look like much when you walk by it. However as you walk in, you are greeted with the sights, sounds, and smell of a Chinese roast. Ducks are abound in the window, along with chicken, honey roasted bbq pork. The signs are posted whether you want pork shoulder, belly or belly with no bones (higher price per pound). The thing I love the most about asian shops, also not quite sure why the low reviews are stating, is that you have to be confident and kinda shout your order. This is when your Vietnamese comes in handy. Tell them confidently what part of the meats you like, how many pounds you want, and look them in the eye. Sometimes they might overfill your order by a bit but that is to be expected. Just confident in the pounds you want and watch the scales. Usually I don't have a problem as I tell them exactly what I want including poundage and be confident. All in all, this is the best roasted pork belly in town! Crispy skin with succulent meat underneath. They also give you sweet and sour sauces as well! It's so good to eat with rice or baguette. It's expensive but it is worth it. No part of the skin is burnt. The pork belly has three layers and not too salty. Highly recommend this place! Pro tip, the parking in the plaza can be hectic but what an you expect? It's in the heart of little Saigon! Park on the side street if you want a quick exit.

Bbq pork skin are super chewy, suppose to be crispy, Meat is not marinated, no taste, alot of fat on meat , they dont roast pig all the way to preserve the pig weight, the skin are so hard and chewy you might break your teeth, customer service horrible ! worst place in oc

I know I made a big mistake when I walked into this place and didn't see the sign that says "Cash only", there was only one sign on a post, no sign on the display glass or anywhere outside like in the pictures on Yelp or I may have missed it. I ordered half a duck and it was $14 then I saw the sign "Cash only", so I asked them where I can find an ATM cause I didn't have enough cash, they seemed mad and pointed to somewhere with no clear direction and complained with 2 other staff. I apologize and told them I didn't see the sign and I had no time to go to an Atm if they can't tell me clearly, I really had to go to an appointment so I asked them can I buy half of it and pay $8. They said NO, OK then I could not do anything but walked out, they were mad and said they already cut the duck, who will buy it? I told them I was so sorry but they were still complaining in Vietnamese and harassed me in English that we don't need your money and don't come back again. I didn't ask them for free food but they treated me poorly. I am sorry to say that they were the rudest people I've ever seen and I am normally a very patient and easygoing person especially when I am a customer. It was the worst experience I've ever had. First of all, we all know why many places take cash only, secondly, these people think they can do business in whatever way they want because they still have customers but I'll never go back and I'll tell everybody I know that DO NOT go to this place, I know they don't care but at least treat yourself with something better, this isn't the only BBQ place in Westminster. I came here once a long time ago (long enough that I forgot they only take cash just like many other businesses in this town), their duck was so so, kind of greasy. I normally go to the place near Adong Market on Bolsa, New Duong Son BBQ. The food is so much better and the people are much nicer, it was just another day I couldn't go there and wanted to give Lien Hoa BBQ a try but I was so wrong.

Stopped by to give this a try. There's a shared parking lot in the business strip they are located in. Parking maybe a bit tight since the parking lot is small. Walked in and you can smell the yumminess of roasted meat. There was a young gal who helped us and was trying to explain how to order as it was our first time there. As the young gal helped us, an more older gal came out and was making remarks as to why it's taking us a long time and was rude. It seems like they have a good variety of meat choices and prices are moderate. Ordered some roasted duck, roasted pork and some salted chicken. All were delicious.

Once again, this place tried to "accidentally forget" a part of the order. We order two items which was noted in the receipt and paid, but when we check AT THE PLACE, they somehow forgot 1 item. When we ask for it, they snatch our bag and toss in the item. Their attitude shows that they wanted to keep the item so they can have lunch with it. Like seriously, it's either they shortchange you or they "forget" some item(s). ALWAYS check your change AND check your order. Food? Good. Attitude? Trashy.

We came here because the other barbecue place we try to go to was closed and I wanted to introduce my boyfriend to Chinese barbecue. The closest I could find was Chinese Vietnamese fusion barbecue. The price was insanely affordable and the flavors are on point. The only thing I did not like with how everything smelled like bleach when we walked in. They were cleaning up the floors. We took our buns and our meat home, and he thoroughly enjoyed everything.

They sold rotten food that was leftover from the day(s) before. The cashier was aggressive when we made a complaint. And they only accept cash. First time buying from this store and it came out a horrible experience. I would avoid and suggest all my friends to avoid buying from Lien Hoa at all costs.

Mediocre customer service. Rude and impolite servers, especially the cashier and meat cutters. Cashier often argued or talked condescendingly to customers. Food ok, sometimes stale and smelly like day old food. That's for the 1 star rating.

Bad service, liên hoa bbq on Bolsa st. Went there on Christmas Eve 12/24/2023 I went to this place and order white pig meat, they end up giving me dark old pig meat, I took the stuff back and the girl said they will not return, I don't care about a few dollars I care more of a good service and giving customer the right items, this place is shit. Low class people. I am sure there are many other people that get the same treatment like me so becareful when you receive your items they can cheat you. Typical Chinese restaurant all they ever care is taking your money and rude service.

Very rude place. Especially the younger girl. And she's been there for a while Acts like she doesn't want to be there and disrespectful to customers. Gets the other employees to harass the ones she chooses to target. You can't ask questions to her or else she just moves on like she thinks you don't want to order and starts yelling at the next person to come in. If the food was actually good it would be worth it but try any other other places on here. They sliced my roast pork instead of doing chunks like they normally did. Better mouth feel and tastier to eat. And the roast duck was minimal meat as well. Not as tasty as before. It's not worth it to come back.

Have to give this deli a 5 star review because the roasted duck is phenomenal. The best, hands down. Have been here about 10 times amd everytime their duck has been scrumptious. Three stars average is not accurate as Lien Hoa has the best roasted duck recipe in California or maybe in the USA. They've perfected it.

Good place for Asian bbq pork, chicken and duck for takeout. You can preorder and just pick up for the holidays to avoid long line. Highly recommend!!!

staff are completely rude and would never recommend this location to anyone. i called days before to confirm if they provided the service of cooking a turkey as i have seen this on a social media account. they confirmed that they did provide the requested service. i came to drop off my turkey and no greeting. basically, made me seem like im crazy for asking for the service. never been treated like that before, and would never step foot in that place again.

I bought food here at 2:30pm on 20th, December. The old woman sold the food very rude to customers. I really disappointed about this place

Came upon this place looking for Cantonese roast meats. First look said "not good". The ducks looked skinny, the soy sauce chicken looked pale, roast pork 燒肉 looked aged. Should have listened to my gut. But, purchased a roast duck 燒鴨 to try it out. Very disappointed! The duck was skinny, the meat was tough, the taste was mediocre. Nowhere close to ducks from average Cantonese bbq places. The only plus is they gave a lot of duck sauce/gravy. Absolutely DON'T GO!

My go to place for roasted crispy pork belly! This is the best place to get this dish cause they specialize in roasting meat products. The skin is super crispy and the pork is delicious!

It was great. The pig was fantastic. It was bigger than I expected and fed our whole party for seconds. We will definitely come back for some more at our next big party. Thanks for such a tasty Hawaiin meal.

Lien Hoa BBQ Deli is quite consistent and reasonable prices for both chicken and duck and roasted pig are a big hit at any Vietnamese potluck party. Our family has been paying respect and love here for over 5 years now because you know we ain't got no time to mess around with a true classic recipe for tasty goodness in beautiful Westminster next to the post office. Please call and reserve your favorite dish ahead by one hour so you don't have to wait in the long lines at noon today. Ask for extra sauce and organ meats if you prefer something more Umami in your flavorful sauces. The secret to a Great sauce in Vietnamese cuisine is the organ meats minced or grounded and blend into your sauce. FYI for all the Mommy Chefs at home. Have a wonderful Day and find the right Umami flavor booster right here at Lien Hoa BBQ Deli. But buy your bread somewhere else because they don't know good baguette French bread

One of the best spot for roasted pork in the area. The roasted pork is so crispy and delicious. I got 2.21 pounds this time which come with sauce. I got their noodles as well to eat with the roasted pork. They have 3 locations and this location i go to often. The service was alright and friendly. They have a variety of options of food. In the future, I would love to get a roasted pig to feed about 20 or so. Lol make sure to bring cash cuz they don't take credit card or debit card. If you're craving roasted food or so come to this spot.

Lien Hue, this is the reason I need to remind myself not to go to your locations anymore. I haven't in years and today is a reminder, people buy crispy pork to have the crispy skin. But you guys NEVER give the crispy skin, I'm really not sure what exactly what you do with it but it's never in the order. Take care of your customers the right way by giving them what they order. You guys are expensive and keep the best part of the crispy pork smh

Poor customer service. Food is meh. Walk into this place and I see they are talking down to a customer before me. Female worker actually word to a female customer " I heard you the first time lady!!!" My turn comes and I get the same poor treatment. Food wasn't even good, more like average at best. I was recommended by my friend about this place but their customer service shows this is my first and last time I come here.

Place is extremely small , crowded and parking area is tight & sometimes hard to find space but it does move fast since this store do share same as popular pho Lover / post office parking lot. You need to know what you want before getting in line because line move quick. Don't get in line until you are ready since you will hold up the line and the workers will get ma. The worker will ask for your order and you need to tell them what you want all at once then move on to pay while they will get stuffs prepared behind the glass counter. I pick duck, one LB of intestine, duck feet along with grabbing a bag of baguette & a plate of thin fresh noodles that cost 55$. Cash only. Food was decent. Season was just right. Would buy it again but not too soon since food isn't too healthy but does tasted good like I remembered

The worst Asian BBQ Deli I've been to. This place only takes cash, just like all the other Asian BBQ restaurants. The guy at the counter that takes the order was not very friendly. The person that cuts/chops the poultry, roast pork and meats needs to do better; there were lots of tiny pieces and tiny broken bones buried below the top layer. There is no consistency with the cut too. Perhaps he should learn how to cut and arrange the meats in a nicer presentation. The cashier at checkout was not very friendly either. I asked for sauces for the proteins ordered and was told it's in the bag. It was such a disappointment to find out that NOT all the sauces for the proteins I ordered were in the bag. Although the food are decent, I do not recommend this BBQ Deli due to their customer service.

I have been coming here for the past few years for their roasted meats. Lien Hoa is the best in town hence they have been around for nearly 40 years. My family usually comes here to order the meats for any family gathering or holidays. There are so many of these delis around the Little Saigon area. This location is my favorite eventhough you'll have to struggle for parking in their tiny lot. They have plenty of ready made items: roasted duck, peking duck, roasted pork belly, soy sauce chicken, salted chicken, bbq pork and other parts of the pig. You can also pre-order a whole roasted pig for a wedding, engagement or other special occasions. Lien Hoa makes the most delicious roasted pig. The skin is so crispy and the meat is not too fatty. I have tried the Vit Quay Roasted Duck which is so tender and flavorful. The salted chicken is another good item. You can also buy some baos, bread, and rice vermicelli sheets (banh hoi) to enjoy with your meats. They are an old school Asian meat deli so of course it's cash only! We will be back again and again!

I come here from 91765 and saw this staff member handling food to go with no facemask. In sorry but I have to find my bbq elsewhere
