Just want to say thank you to the sweet owners and staff for providing lunch and dinner to me everyday. I started coming to the hot bar instead of takeout from other places in the area and it’s changed my life. Love the lentil black bean casserole! So nice to know I’m eating healthy, organic and simple ingredient meals that I don’t have to question. I also do my grocery shopping here but don’t sleep on the fresh food each day at the hot bar. Support a family owned business!

Owned by great people have been around for a long time best product in its business very professional great atmosphere great food at the hot bar very knowledgeable employees on what they’re selling everybody in the store is very friendly. I highly recommend stopping in the store if you ever go buy it. They have been in business for over 20 years for a reason I hope they’re around for another 20+ I’ll always stop in

I’ve been a customer here for years, always stopping by after my shifts, always buying cakes and other items. Unfortunately, the friendliness and customer service that once set this place apart have declined drastically. Today was the last straw. I purchased a Neapolitan cake and forgot to ask for a bag. Since I was taking the train, I went back and politely asked for one. The elderly woman at the counter told me, rudely that it would be 25 cents. I said “no problem” and was happy to pay. But then she added more attitude, telling me she couldn’t charge me because there’s a $2 minimum on the machine. Instead of handling it with basic courtesy, she turned it into a scene, making me feel disrespected over something as simple as a bag. I’ve supported this place for a lifetime, but I won’t be returning. Customer service is about respect, not just transactions. If you can’t treat loyal customers with dignity over something as small as 25 cents, you don’t deserve their business!

Amazing customer service, responded immediately and provided me with information about an uncommon product other stores couldn't. They have one of the best selections of healthy food options available. Couldn't recommend more and wish I lived closer!

Underrated gem! And you don’t say that often anymore, in the Village. By far, they have the best selection of real healthy/ sustainable brands, at the most reasonable prices. Also really delicious & clean premade food items in the lunch hot bar. You can just tell it’s run with care and love by the employees and mgmt team. Any time I’m sick I come in here and ask for their recommendations on the best supplements and natural medicines…and they’ve never led me astray!

Great spot located on 6th street with a large selection of fresh (including raw) and packaged vegan and gluten free foods. Great for locals and tourists (has grab and go items and a salad bar) alike.

This is a charmed place. Stellar, kind, and knowledgeable staff, and a pretty comprehensive supplements section. Not enough of these stores exist anymore. Go to them instead of Whole Foods—it’ll be much better for you in quality, experience, and service, and you won’t be feeding a big corporation that has snuck all sorts of things into “healthy foods.”

It’s one of my favorite stores when I want to explore new health and nutrition products that aren’t over commercialized. This store also has amazing health cosmetic products upstairs with seating area. The downstairs is all about food. They have a bakery and a savory buffet. Most things are plant based and they have some clean animal proteins for your non-plant based friends. The counter of sweet scares me because I want to buy it all. It’s a nice sight to see so many options. They even have gluten free options. The shopping space for food is small but upstairs has a lot of room. Be friendly because these people are friendly. It’s a boutique grocery store that attracts all types of people. Where else can you find snacks made of low glycemic products? This is a great store for truly health conscious and health curious people. Catering to mainly vegans with options for their friends!

Great selection of soy milks, yogurts and organic berries. I should not that the employees seem more invested in their vitamin collection than anything. But overall the selection is very good. The salad bar has a great selection, so long as you get there early enough.

Best market in Greenwich Village for natural and organic groceries. It has pretty okay prices for around here. LifeThyme is a lot bigger than it looks. Has a proud history of being one of the first organic stores in the area. There's a lot of products including food, personal care, and others. Actually was one of the first all organic grocery stores in the city. It's where to find all kinds of healthy products. There's also a deli section you can get premade and made to order sandwiches. About as fresh as it can be. It's about $5 to get the cheapest sandwiches. The last time here they had the Spicy Seitan Wrap. Also they have a salad bar with all kinds of things you can put into a container. They have proteins including chicken and tempeh. Has quite a lot for a locally owned grocery. It's pretty okay as far as prices, because while it's not always cheap, there's also freshness and quality. The store has tons of items for vegans and vegetarians.

I was charged for a purchase I didn't make, mocked when I attempted to return it, characterized as hostile by the manager, while the cashier who attempted to defraud me, laughed in my face. The item she charged me for was never in my bag, never in my cart, the cashier Katrina E Purdy just wanted to rip off a customer for $3.00. She and her hostile manager found this hilarious, and mocked me for taking umbrage and wanting my money back for this item I NEVER PURCHASED. The $3.00 gumballs were at Purdy's station, right in front of her, so this was just the most blatant petty theft imaginable. Completely sanctioned by the hostile manager. Products in the store are fantastic, They desperately need to restaff, as the people in charge are clowns and petty thieves. I look forward to a petty response describing me as a troll from their manager Jason, who has viewed every other one star review they received on this platform with derision and dismissal. He mocked someone who got sick from their juice bar, characterizing him as a "troll." That is some omega level projection! This is the most customer unfriendly, hostile, business I've ever encountered. Trolls selling health food, in my neighborhood, since 1996. I've lived in the village my entire life, and I've been giving them business since 1996. However, I don't know that I can continue giving them business after this.

I came here because in the map it said 'Plentea matcha' unfortunately matcha is nonexistent but Lifethyme is a local and organic grocery store that has been around for a minute. Always choose to support local!!! They have a salad and veggie bar with delicious things like macro rolls, and a made in store section of delicious ready to go meals. The vibe is cute and friendly like a neighborhood organic shop. Support organic!!!

I would like to thank Jason district manager and the CEO of Life Thyme for hiring Lyn. She is such a asset to the store. Whenever i ask her something about health, she gives me the truth. With the science to back it up. She really takes her job serious. And she has the passion behind everything she does. I highly recommend her for a promotion.

Hello there Jason B., there is no need to refund me for anything. I appreciate that I was able to "park" my bags at no extra cost, that was truly gracious of the establishment to allow me that privilege. Though, my complaint was never with the establishment, it was with my experience with Michal at the register. And I do appreciate you pointing out that there is a charge for the bag, I was unaware of that. So I am thanking you for pointing that out. I did not know what Michal was doing on their side, I wasn't thinking about it at the time of the transaction, and I had no issue with being asked to run the card 2 or 3 times. Those are all normal interactions that occur several times throughout one's day, and therefore should not be on any individual's radar for things that provoke one to assess another as having a race-based biased. Michal is clearly not telling you what he/she/they said, how they said it, and they are also not telling you that the statement that I made as I left was, "I'm sorry I upset you." Actually, I may have said it twice if I recall. Because Michal was CLEARLY upset and I wasn't sure if it was about to have some kind of breakdown. He/she/they were literally shaking. And this is the reason that everyone was looking at me. Because I'm sure it was quite awkward - the CUSTOMER apologizing for being on the receiving end of mistreatment while the cashier is throwing attitude like I stepped on his/her/their toes somehow. Don't take my word for it though, ask them all! You got them on surveillance, ask each and every one of them. They will tell you. The experience left me feeling so down that I actually apologized to Michal for Michal's terrible journey that day, that led him/her/they to the exact moment that he/she/they felt the need to try their best to ruin mine. At the end of the day I do appreciate the establishment's effort to address that one issue. As I mentioned, outside of that one interaction, I have always shopped at Lifethyme with no complaints.

Jason, I am not a troll. My visit to your juice bar was long ago, and my review says "on a previous visit." It's funny that you think every bad review comes from a troll. Everything that I stated in my first review is 100% true. But, according to your ego, you guys can do no wrong. Get a PR consultant. You are doing a terrible job answering these reviews, and managing the place as well. Also, why you don't say anything about you guys turning the heat off in your hot food bar as closing time approaches? I did get sick eating at this place most likely because you turned the heat off at the food bar. As you hopefully know, food must be kept at a certain temperature so it doesn't get spoiled.

Love this market, recently moved into the city from Los Angeles & evr since I found this store I have frequented it often! I come for the extensive variety of supplements & vitamins .. also, The roasted & salted pumpkin seeds are my Fav !! They are made by them & They are so Yum !! the produce at the entrance could be a little more clean & tidy looking But besides that this is a great shop!! There is a worker who is super knowledgeable and helpful.. he has helped me on almost every occasion !!

Maybe there's some behind the scenes drama going on here judging from some previous reviews, but I for the life of me don't care. I try to live a healthy lifestyle and this store has things I need that 90% of supermarkets do not carry. I come in, I get what I need, I get out. No complaints.

Places like this seem to be places of the past, or my past, in any case. Lovely, quirky, not commercially driven business/staff...please be nice to them, or just stick w Whole Foods if you want more produce and less soul as it were whilst shopping for "health food"

I've been coming here for years, after today I can not justify spending my money here any longer. The staff is rude and the prepared shelves are usually empty. I purchased their Raw Lasagna and they went up in price, I was okay with that until I opened the package. Two strips of zucchini MAX and the rest was a bunch of nuts, no sauce either. Gross. Higher prices along with poor quality is straight disrespectful. People actually enjoy this? Waste of money.

Rudest staff and most misogynistic obnoxious owner ever. Read the other reviews. The sad little one star is for the inventory. The store is well stocked, and I'd rather go to small, local places, but it's just not worth shopping here anymore. Edit: Nice try, Jason, but no, I'm not a troll. I've been coming to Lifethyme since you had a flow through view of the salad bar from the second floor and there was a juice bar across from the (now gone) extensive vegan bakery. I've shopped there for years, but no more. Maybe treat your customers with respect and don't mansplain when no one asked your advice and for lord's sake, stop grabbing items out of womens' hands while they're shopping or checking out. You (and your staff) have been beyond rude too many times and that is how you drive customers away. Done with this place; done, done, done.

I got sick from eating from their hot food bar. It was about an hour from closing and the food was cold. it seems the heating was turned off as they approached closing time. I spent 2 days in the hospital. On a previous occasion, I went for a wheatgrass juice. The person at the juice bar took a completely yellow wheatgrass and was going to juice it and give it to me, meaning she had no idea what wheatgrass is. when I talked to the manager, he didn't apologize or anything; just took off to talk to the juice bar attendant. Not going back ever...

In my quest to avoid Whole Foods these days, I recalled my earlier days of being vegan, before Whole Foods opened in Union Square, when I relied on health food stores in Manhattan for things that I couldn't possibly get at the supermarket or 24 hour Korean deli (full disclosure: I think I only shopped at health food stores and 24 hour Korean delis. No wonder I was perpetually broke). And of all the health food stores in Lower Manhattan and Brooklyn, Lifethyme was the best of 'em. Whereas other places sold questionable pre-wrapped vegan sandwiches, not to mention the dry baked goods that could turn anyone off vegan baked goods forever, Lifethyme had so many super fresh and delicious items, that it was mind boggling. More than once I opened my pre-wrapped from-a-deli sandwich to find rotten lettuce. NIGHTMARES! Meanwhile the sell-by-date was three days away. WTF? Dark days indeed. But Lifethyme was a bright light. Their sandwiches were fresh. Their prepared food bar was quite the life saver on nights that I had classes in the village and, in fact, introduced me to raw foods (their raw lasagna rocked my world). But let's talk about the vegan bakery in the back of the store. All my fat kid desires are satisfied. A couple weeks ago, I had it bad. It was my intention to pick out one thing. Instead I left with three, a peanut butter moon pie, an oatmeal cookie and some other chocolate thing that I consumed in a food fugue, so no details there, I'm afraid. Their cakes are delicious and amazingly priced. Even with all the other new school vegan bakeries opening up, I'll always be a loyal Lifethyme customer. I'll never forget that in the 2000s my birthday cakes always came from here. I will admit that I expect more from their vegan cheese selection. It ain't bad, but I was hoping for more, something like the vegan grocery store that has an entire cheese section in Rome, Italy. I can dream.

I have been a customer here over many years, but no longer. I went to the second floor to purchase a bottle of rosemary oil. The salesman, unmasked, handed me a bottle of it. I stood away from him, maybe 6 feet, probably less, so I could read the label as I have never purchased this product before. I was the only person there and his attention was undivided. No more than 10 seconds had gone by when he said, "You have to give that to me before you go to pay for it." I said, "Do you mean I cannot read the label?" He then shouted at me to "calm down !" I put the bottle down and said, "No one talks to me like this," and left. On my way out, I relayed to the manager on the first floor what had happened. "What do you want me to do ?" he asked me. "Maybe you should hire staff who are not rude to customers," I replied, and left. NYC is not a place where you cannot find a product somewhere else when a store does not value you as a person.

Customer of nearly 30 years that will never return again. The place has become increasingly unhygienic over the years, the aisles more crowded and compact, but the biggest issue is the incomprehensible rudeness of the staff. At least the rudeness of the staff was incomprehensible until I reached out to the now owner Jason Bander to make him aware of an issue in the store. Not having an issue in the store for the decades before, I never spoke with this fellow. I thought my story might help him make the place better if not actually garner an apology or solve the issue for me. But I did not get a seasoned professional that seemed to care about his business, who wanted to listen, or who wanted to learn. What i got was a taste of his special brand of angry, entitled, hate as he showed me his perceived superiority to everyone and everything and his apparent contempt for his customers. I suppose this is an example of why family business' rarely last more than a generation... his father started the place, and he is apparently taken the helm and is driving it into the ground. So now I know where the staff gets their horrible manners from. Health and Harmony on Hudson is just a few blocks away. It is larger, cleaner, less expensive, and the staff is far more helpful and polite too. And unlike decades ago when this place first opened, even chain stores like Trader Joes and Whole Foods carry excellent organic produce today as well as lots of food products from healthy brands of all types which makes to say cutting Lifethyme out of my life easy and painless. I suspect Lifethyme will go the way of so many others I have negatively reviewed. I seem to have a knack of picking the losers as they go out of business shortly after I post a well deserved negative Yelp review, and I just picked you Lifethyme. ps. have you seen all the hate expressed in the yelp reviews here in the last year. this place is doomed! good riddance! ps. Mr.Bander, unable to reply to your comment so adding this to mine... It is clear to me that you are correct in saying you "are not sure what to say." Normally, people that care about their customers and their customer experiences in their store would start off with an apology for a customer having had a negative experience with their store. You didn't do that in your reply to me, nor to any of your replies to the many negative Yelp reviews you have earned of late. Instead your go into a diatribe about how great you think you are, how unique you think your store is as if your therapist has told you to deal with criticism by just telling yourself how great you really are. Your complete lack of empath is appallingly apparent, and your ego is loud and clear. You have been given ample opportunity to address my issue and just as did before, you completely fail again. No doubt that it is lost on you, but I am actually being kind by not detailing the experience i had that motivated me to publicly express my opinion of your miserable store. Your business will certainly fail if you chose to continue to ignore customers, put yourself above others, and persist with your selfish, arrogant attitude. Sadly, that will most likely be your fate.

Not good is mildly put rating. Its Over priced by 30-50% compared to other small organic stores in nyc but I'd accept that if it had marvelous fresh organic produce. Fruits and veg are border line rotten or tasteless. Prepared and deli food is unacceptable quality. I've seen the stuff stamp prepared date a day ahead on their prepared food and 6/10 times prepared foods is spoiled days before the expiration date. Its hard to grasp how fast and low this store quality and service has spiraled down. Based on my experience I don't trust nor the prepared date nor the expiration date. I stopped buying their prepared food all together when I found out that no one in the kitchen is tasting what they make before its packaged and sold which explains why at times it was under cooked and always extremely inconsistent in flavor. You might see on their website a guarantee that if you are not satisfied with something you purchased, the store will take care of you. They do by listening to the complain, looking at your purchase receipt date and then sending you off to call the factory, producer or supplier as its store policy not to take back any product that's been opened even if its spoiled, moldy or outdated. Now with that in mind you can be educated shopper going to Lifethyme on 6th avenue.

I have been a Lifethyme customer for many years. They have a wide range of supplements, and their knowledgeable staff are always pleasant and very helpful. As a satisfied customer I can highly recommend Lifethyme.

Raw Champion Salad - vegan, organic, gluten free includes cabbage, avocado, onion, lemon juice, spinach, cilantro, garlic, apple cider vinegar, extra virgin olive oil and Himalayan pink salt. Bolly vegan burger. My two favorite I tend at Lifethyme.

Summary: great in concept, but over priced - food: organic healthy food with a large selection - Location: super convenient - price point: expensive - Service / staff: downtrodden

Nice local natural food grocery store with a decent-sized health and body section. I found some of the produce to be reasonably priced. Great by the pound hot food bar selection with seating area upstairs. They discount 50% after 9pm but will remove the food by 9:30pm. A hidden gem is their dessert cooler (not just the display case) in the back with a number of delicious choices.

I can find Yogi kava tea at Lifethyme which I am learning is very difficult to find kava tea. Thank you for supplying.

I am so done and over with lifetime. There rude staff - the rude management -the rude owners - who are the ones ultimately responsible for how their store operates. I been buying about $150worth of products and prepared food here a week- at least. Beware they put packaged and fresh food out that is just about to go out of date!!

I have always loved Lifethyme. Yesterday I was in the neighborhood and went in. Alas, no bakery (I understand) but was surprised that my cashier had his mask barely covering his mouth and when I said something, he said he needed air. In the time he was ringing me up, I had to ask him more than once to put his mask on properly. Management should not put up with that. \

Wonderful small organic market that has literally almost everything you could be looking for to add to your pantry if you're a newly transitioning vegetarian/vegan like myself. The staff in the food department is always very nice and offering samples of different pastries and pies and half the time (bc my palate is adapting) it isn't quite bad. The pumpkin pie was my favorite lol! Check out lines are fairly quick and always have all their registers manned up. They also have great prices on my favorite water, Essentia (bc treat yo'self) for 2.29. At other spots it's like $4/$5 and it's literally absurd. Whenever I'm in the area I stock up for the rest of the week. Definitely check this place out, they're clutch.

An adorable healthy wonderland in New York. I appreciated that Lifethyme had Zoodles (Zucchini noodles), that they had veggie grain-less wraps, and that they had a plethora of Paleo and Vegan desserts. They were even well stocked on grass-fed Bone Broth. The staff were exceptionally helpful during my time here and they assisted me in finding any and all items that I was searching for. I could have easily spent hours perusing the aisles. I grabbed my bone broth, paid, and ventured into the bustling humid streets of New York. Trust.

(Singing & skipping) I love this place! Oh yes! Oh yes! Where can you find organic veggies, pasture-raised meats & wild-caught fish buffet deli style? Seriously. If you know of any, let me know, because this is the first I've seen in Manhattan. I have a sweet tooth I guess you can say as well, but I'm very discerning with my sweets. I prefer gluten-free desserts and not sugar bombs. So thrilled to see they have lots, AND LOTS of options. I was in love with their cheese section since they carried quite a number of raw milk, grass-fed cheeses from cow, goat and sheeps milk. I did see moldy black mission figs which were close to the door entrance. Take that how you will, because organic food rots faster. But the strawberries looked so...real! They were smaller, but deeper in color. I didn't buy them, but I think next thyme () I'll come more prepared to get some produce.

Continually baffled by how the checkout staff can be so rude here. There are "'managers" who appear to be monitoring the self checkout area, yet, I have now had three purchases soured by outwardly rude and apathetic staff. With many grocery stores surrounding this one I am no longer choosing to buy here due to this. So unfortunate!

I have ordered groceries from here twice now (via Mercato). They provide free delivery (for orders over $20). They are super-communicative and accommodating if they don't have an item, and delivery has been very fast with great food/veggie quality. Psyched to keep ordering from them, and will hopefully get there one day soon to get some of their house-made food!

This is regarding covid safety. I visit the store around noon and one of the staff was talking out loud without the mask on all the time. He was talking in the shopping area and then start to have conversations with cashiers.

No workers wearing masks, hanging over food and talking to food suppliers nose-to-nose. Not like Other food stores that are trying to be sanitary and enforce rules to keep customers and employees safe from COVID-19. I called to tell manager and was kept in hold for ever, then once I started to explain what I saw she hung up. I called back because this is really important stuff, and she started to Listen but then just then handed the phone to someone else. Walked by 45 minutes later to same scene, no PPE and no social distancing. If Lifethyme doesn't care enough to even appear sanitary and safe, why shop there?? Other stores are being careful and online shopping can get you what you can't find elsewhere.

Used to be a loyal shopper here trying to support local businesses however now I will not shop there. I asked for a price match on Bronners soap (they were selling for $18.99 and I saw it at Health & Harmony for 6 dollars less) and store clerk refused to do price matching. I asked to speak with a manager who also denied it saying they don't match prices. I then went to Health & Harmony and have been loyal there ever since. People can purchase things more easily and for less on Amazon and therefore small businesses will close unless they start understanding customer service. It is a shame.

My favorite hot bar and salad bar in NYC amazing dairy free desserts- and a quiet and super chill place to eat upstairs. I don't live in NYC anymore, and I really miss this place. A vegetarian dream come true. Great roasted chicken, too.

Came to this place on the recommendation of a friend, and was not disappointed! The store has great produce and a huge selection of specialty items you can't find anywhere else! They have a hot food bar buffet style which looked delicious as well as a whole section for raw vegan food! The raw vegan food was really the star of the show for me, as a raw vegan. The options were vast, decently priced and tasted great! I absolutely love that they offer takeaway raw vegan options of such high quality! The workers there are also very nice and helpful! I would definitely recommend stopping in to check this great grocery store out!

Lifethyme has become an unpleasant place to shop. The store is increasingly unclean and disorganized. But perhaps more disturbing is the behavior of some of the staff. On multiple occasions, I have been aggressively approached by an older male manager while using self checkout. He has hovered over me as I swiped each item, acting irritated and crowding an already tight check out space. I almost ended my last transaction and walked out empty handed. I wish I had. But no matter, I will just stop shopping here.

I usually head straight to the prepared foods deli display where I choose either the Power Pie, Ipie, or or some other massive layered lasagna-like slice of veggies. There's no way I would invest the time to shred all the veggies the way they do and then layer them as perfectly as they do, so I think the $7.50 - $8 price tag is well worth it, considering my alternative would be to spend that much just on three of the ingredients they use in these awesome prepared meals. I've never had their organic meat hot bar, but it seems like a pretty great deal as well, considering organic meat isn't easy to find in prepared take-out, grab and go fashion. Occasionally I also pick up another random healthy snack or get some naturally made cleaning products, and it's small enough that you aren't going to spend hours getting lost in whole foods, or hours in line waiting at Trader Joe's. It has just enough and not too much to provide efficient and speedy service in natural foods and products for the Greenwich Village and West Village neighborhoods.

This place is my jam and here's why: -Every other month, they have a special on GT'S kombucha: 2 for $6!!! -Their baked section is to die for... they have vegan baked goods and gluten free for the GF ppl. -Salad bar always is changing with local options and fairly priced -Soup bar is my favorite! In winter, I dream of the split pea soup -Juice bar has a daily special and yes, the line can be tragic and make you question if you REALLY want to drink a green juice but it makes you feel healthy AF! -MOST IMPORTANTLY!! The customer service!! I love Nancy, Alva, Kitty and Rosa !

My fav place in the city for the best vegan desserts and raw food! After my friend told me this place, I would literally venture down 3 times a week. After - month, I have tried almost all the desserts: all amazing after all and definitely inspire my interest and love for raw food/ desserts Some of my favorite: raw pecan chocolate cake/ tofu cheesecake/ chocolate tart / tiramisu / truffles / gluten free blackout cake! These are the best so far. There are also quite few vegan / gluten free options deli style. The seitan wrap for $5.25 is the best. Other vegan restaurants can easily charge you more than $10. If you come late, it can be easily sold out. Deluxe pizza / veggie pizza /pie and other raw stuff are also great, filled with zucchini / eggplant and veggies. Other cakes options are great, but more heavy with flour -unless you go with gluten free option. There's deli by pound - way better than tasty than Whole Foods. It's vegan and gluten free heaven for desserts and raw food.

This very small health food store carries some items that I cannot find at Whole Foods, Westside or Trader Joe's such as GTS Coconut Yogurt and CocoYo Coconut Yogurt. There are some healthy items that are cheaper here compared the aforementioned stores but some are more expensive so I like to do my shopping at all of these stores to snag the best deals. The staff are incredibly friendly and I love how the lady behind the prepared foods section offered to let me have samples of many of the foods even though the foods weren't gluten-free so I didn't have any but the gesture was very nice. In addition, the staff gave me product recommendations based on customer feedback on products and thought that was very helpful. The only drawback of this market is no push carts, only baskets for groceries wish I am not the biggest fan of.

Great little organic market for everything your lil heart desires. Complete with juice bar, bakery, hot salad bar and vitamin section. Large selection of alternative sugar chocolate bars right at the register when you check out. The product placement of these is a little annoying as other customers are visibly waiting while you look through your options. But eff it, I want chocolate!

This was the first time I've shopped at this store. And the last. Given all of the negative reviews about customer service, I decided to use Mercato. It didn't make a difference. I got a phone message that was nearly incomprehensible, at 9:50 from someone who I think was named Abigail. I didn't understand what she said, but I called back anyway: at 10:05. I was transferred, three times before I got the woman who called. I couldn't hear her. I asked her to speak up. She told me she was shouting and would not speak louder. What I GOT from the call, is that they didn't have nearly half of the items I ordered - which were on their website. She had called me to discuss replacements but, in her words "you didn't call soon enough so we sent out what we had." HUH???? Fifteen minutes wasn't soon enough? REALLY???? Most of the items they didn't have, are standard. One was unusual, and one was prepared food. If you don't have them, why are they on your page as available? And the attitude from this woman was far from customer friendly. There are other stores, and they sell nearly the same products.

Vegan? Gluten-free? Head here stat. This spot (so close to the 9th St. PATH train) is a gem for some "clean eating". I came for the organic juice bar/smoothie and was surprised to see a full salad and hot bar filled with delicious and healthy treats and not to mention a full vegan/gluten-free bakery. Say what? I went with a close to an $11 smoothie. It was great filled with spirulina and organic fruit, but it was $11. I got to sample the fresh coconut smoothie as well as a green juice and they know what they're doing and for the juice size well worth the $9; $11 is a bit steep. I'll be a reg. A huge shoutout to the dude manning the smoothie/juice bar - CU Represent!

Great health focused market. Specializing in organic, natural, non GMO products, and produce. The bakery has great options for gluten-free desserts. There is a mind and body department located upstairs.

I had the vegan mac and cheese delivered to a relative from GA starting back to school. He gave that a 4 out of 5 rating. 5 being a top rating. They got the food and groceries to him at 3:07p and the delivery range was from 3 to 4 pm. Just have them call you back about substitutions when you order online since some items on the website are not in stock under the brand you may pick.

Wonderful organic options and hot meals to order! Pricey life the spring rolls were ok. But healthy and does the job. Nice spot of health goods and yummiessss! Love the organic fruits

Just started going back here after way too long an absence. The buffet bar is as good as ever and I have to say it is a total pleasure to encounter such friendly staff - and not in a Trader Joe's 'Stepford Wives' fashion. Everyone is genuine and not in a corporately enforced way:) Oh and they have just added self service check outs too. It's a bit out of my way but definitely worth it and will be returning frequently.

To echo the most recent reviews, it's just not worth it to shop here anymore and I'd rather support another store even though lifethyme is by far the most convenient to walk to and I do like their prepared food offerings. My reason for switching though is that their staff just isn't very friendly and at times seem totally lazy like when they direct me to self check out even though there's no one in line ... the one guy who always seems to be friendly and eager to help is the vitamin guy. As a lot of recent reviews also say, they don't enforce masks whatsoever and their staff is often not wearing them or have them under their nose. So it's like why even have the sign on your door that says masks are necessary to enter? Fine if you choose for your business not to require them but don't advertise that you do then. I've seen loads of customers without them at all and the manager greets them without batting an eye. Rather walk the extra 5-10 minutes to health and harmony, much cleaner, better deals, and way friendlier. I wanna love Lifethyme but it's just really gone downhill.
