"Maybe Lighthouse sounds good to you, but you aren’t in Williamsburg. If you happen to be near Nolita, you can go to Lighthouse Outpost - their tiny space on Mulberry with food as good as the original. If you’re by yourself (or maybe with one other person), come for lunch and eat a chicken bowl with coconut rice and a bunch of fresh herbs that will make you wonder why you don’t eat more herbs. And maybe split a burger with someone. The one here is also really good." - Hannah Albertine, Bryan Kim

"The people behind in Williamsburg also own this tiny spot in Nolita. It’s mostly a to-go business, and everything on the menu is excellent - from the chicken bowl with herbs and coconut rice to the “Big Salad” with all kinds of sliced vegetables. (If you decide to ditch the salad thing altogether, there’s also a great burger.) Stop by and pick up some lunch or dinner the next time you need exceptional takeout in the area." - Bryan Kim, Matt Tervooren

Excellent healthy choice in Nolita serving fresh local ingredients.

God I love this place. They have a limited but outstanding menu of vegetable forward dishes. They use fresh and unique ingredients and bold flavors. I love how they serve pickles with everything. It’s a tiny place with only bar seating and no bathroom. But they serve you in lovely tableware, so you don’t have to waste any paper or plastic products. I wish they were open later!

Delicious and fresh light food. Duck confit pita is rich and the bowls are filled with pickled vegetables and coconut rice. Unique standout from other healthy bowl places

Duck Pita is sooooooooo delicious! The portion is small, but it's not lacking in flavor! I can't wait to try more of their menu.

The food is fantastic, they source all their ingredients from local top of the line purveyors (and they don't brag about it or overcharge for it - they just do it), and the people who own it and work there couldn't be more lovely and welcoming. One of my favorites restaurants in all of NY.
