Like Mike Trattoria moderna Italiana

Small restaurant in charming neighborhood of coconut grove. Restaurant is clean and very pretty atmosphere. Chose it to celebrate a birthday so we were about 12 guests. The party was large and we felt the kitchen struggling quite a bit to get our food out on a timely manner. Most of the pastas were good but nothing out of this world. Service was also good.

My husband is an Italian food lover, and this place exceeded our expectations! From the moment we walked in, we felt at home in the cozy, mom-and-pop-style atmosphere. Salvatore's warm welcome set the tone for a fantastic evening, and our server Nico was exceptional - knowledgeable, helpful, and funny. The food was truly WOW! Each dish had fresh flavors that were both authentic and delicious. We were thoroughly impressed and can't wait to return to Like Mike's.

If you want to feel seen - this is the place! We visited Miami for 5 days and this was the ABSOLUTE highlight. Salvatore treated us like royalty and the food was exceptional. As a visitor - I have been very judgmental of American Italian restaurants but this is outstanding. The food was as good as you would find in Italy and the service is exceptional. Ragu was top notch and the pastas were all tasty and innovative Mandatory Date night restaurant! The area was buzzing as well.. Tuesday night ! Highly recommended !!

We visited Like Mike and we didn’t have a reservation but we were seated right away in a table for 4. The manager helped to accommodate us even though the place was packed on a Saturday night. The food was delicious! Highly recommend ordering a few appetizers and pastas and sharing everything. Decently priced for Coconut Grove. The ambiance was really nice - cute lights and menus. The waitstaff went above and beyond for us, constantly cleaning our tables and re-filling our waters. They were extremely kind and attentive. I would return!

We loved Like Mike, food was delicious and the service was amazing. We sat outside which was nice since the heat wave was not here yet. The ambiance was casual but nice. It’s right in the middle of the action in the grove so lots of people walking and cars passing by. Parking is always a bit of a mission unless you get lucky and be ready to pay for it. The only thing that was a little off putting was that they offered us a complimentary Prosecco because we had a reservation and they were running behind but then never brought it to us, maybe because our table was ready quicker than they though? Anyway, loved it and would definitely recommend checking it out.

A friend told me this place was underrated, so one evening I decided to stop by and see for myself. Let me tell you—I was not disappointed! From the moment I sat down, everything I tried was simply superb. The flavors were rich, authentic, and exactly what you want from Italian food. Whether it was the pasta, the appetizers, or the fresh ingredients, every bite was amazing. If you’re looking for a hidden gem that delivers on quality, Like Mike is definitely it. This place might fly under the radar, but once you try it, you'll wonder why everyone isn’t talking about it.

Incredible atmosphere, the dinner plates are beautifully decorated, the food is incredibly delicious. The pasta I had was authentic and tasty. The service was excellent and everyone was super nice and friendly!

This was amazing! Nico was incredible! We would go back just to have him as a server! Very attentive and knowledgeable of the menu! He really made the experience! The food was fabulous! The salad was refreshing and the salmon was perfectly cooked! The lemon cheese cake was magical! The next time we come to Miami it's the first place we will go!
