Yelp
Solid old-school, no-frills ice cream shop! I stopped by around 1pm on a Monday, and they weren't busy at that time. They had 32 ice cream flavors available the day I went, and you can view all the flavors in their displays, or you can look at the chalkboard they have on the wall. I saw that you could answer a trivia question to win a free scoop, but forgot to ask them about it. I ended up trying:
-Cheesman (Cheesecake Ice Cream w/Graham Cracker, Strawberry Marbles), Graham Cracker Station (Graham Cracker Ice Cream w/Graham Cracker Marble, Chocolate Toffee) (Single/$3.97 + $1.30 Waffle Cone, https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=fdV-HCYGT4NtxG08j0CuDw&userid=76vIFZcC7owykCBjMfGVXg): Both flavors were good, but not my first choices. The cheesman tasted like a strawberry cheesecake in ice cream form, but had a little too much fruit for me. The graham cracker station was SUPER graham cracker-y, but a little too sweet.
-Salty Butter Caramel & Fluffernutter (Vanilla Base w/Marshmallow, Peanut Butter Marbles) (Single/$3.97, https://www.yelp.com/user_local_photos?select=E1CFkymWxEEbrDgWoZRlJQ&userid=76vIFZcC7owykCBjMfGVXg): Yum- I enjoyed both of these flavors more! The salty butter caramel didn't skimp on the salt, and I liked that the caramel balanced it out; however, I don't think I could eat more than a half scoop of this flavor. The fluffernutter was my favorite, and I really liked the peanut butter and marshmallow combo- recommended!
Their staff were not wearing masks. I really liked that they had a good sized outdoor patio available where you could sit down and enjoy your ice cream. Parking in this area can be challenging, but street parking is available.
