I usually come through this place and have a great time, I am a competitive pool player and never have issues until last night. I usually don’t play anyone I don’t know, If you go back on the video for this night you will see a sore loser get upset and cause issues. But yet I was cut off by the bartender because the person I beat at pool was her personal friend. I was told that she didn’t care to serve us anymore for no reason. If this place has cameras please go back and see who was at fault. I feel offended because I was told I had to leave because I beat the bartenders friend at pool. The bartender described herself as Snax. Never have had a issue before. This was my favorite place place u til I was asked to leave bc I beat a drunk at pool. This guy came to the table and inter feared in a game I had going on with someone else after his lost

Good drinks, good vibes, and good service. The bar tender was attentive and suggested drinks I really enjoyed. The drinks were affordable and the music was a reasonable volume. The restroom was clean and stocked with extra toilet paper, tampons, and pads. I'll definitely be dropping by on the regular. (-:

First bar I’ve been to that provides women’s personal emergency needs(super cool) everyone’s very nice, the bar is clean. The pupusas we had last night were delicious! I’ll definitely be back!

Big patio, one pool table, over all seems like a pretty chill spot. There is parking but not much, the rest would be nearby street parking. Local food vendors pop up on patio regularly, always a treat.

Great little bar on the size of the road. It's pretty small, but you don't have to be a regular to feel welcomed. The bar staff is always friendly. Drinks are cheap, and they have an interesting selection of beers. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Pool is available to play for $1.

Cool little dive bar in Greater Eastwood. Different pop ups for food available throughout the week. Some front parking but mostly street parking. Affordable drinks, cool atmosphere, good food from the pop ups.......what else do you need? Lots of folks just walk over because it's in the middle of the neighborhood.

Immaculate vibes, cheap drinks, pool table, string lights, mixed crowd (in terms of age, gender, sexuality) which rocks. Indoor and outdoor seating, not hard to find parking. Feels like a classic neighborhood dive :)

A solid local dive bar and gem on the east side If you're looking for solid people, good drinks, and staying in the area then this is the place for you! They have indoor and outdoor areas. Outdoors has long picnic tables which allow for plenty of seating and groups. Indoors has bar seating and a few tables. They also have a few arcade games if that's your cup of tea. Sometimes they have food being served outdoors too and, while I haven't had any, a lot of people do seem to order it. Their parking lot is a bit limited unfortunately... that being said we're always lucky to get a spot. The bathrooms are single stall but for a dive bar are quite clean. The ladies room has tampons and such stocked which is a really nice touch !

One of our favorite dive bars ever since 2018 when we first discovered it. A neighborhood gem right outside of downtown with cheap/strong drinks, friendly and cute bartenders, and awesome food trucks on specific evenings (check instagram for updates). There's also a super spooky building next door that looks dope at night :)

Just a fun dive bar. Pet friendly. Great crowd. And awesome prices. They had blantons (which is impossible to find) which we loved. Music is great, there is some food outside. Its just a great place to hang out. Shoot some pool and relax without breaking the bank. The bartender is a cool guy.

Totally a hipster dive bar that brought in a mariachi band last weekend. Is that the norm? I can't say for sure, as I usually only venture here on weekdays 5ish. It's around the corner from my friends house. Outside of downtown, so no parking fees. Cheap drinks always. One margarita machine with ever changing flavors. When you walk in you never know what they'll have. Plenty of seating for happy hour but definitely not enough for the weekend crowd. Bartender is super friendly. As are the YOUNG fellas. Don't ever park in the two spots near the patio. Park in any spot besides those. You'll thank me later.

I girlfriend tipped me off to Lil Danny Speedo's Go Fly A Kite Lounge (that's more than a mouthful) last week, and so during Sunday's unpredictable weather, we darted over to check it out. From the outside, you'll think, "Holy hell. This is a dive," and wonder what kinds of weirdness you'll find inside. But guest what? Since it's brand spankin' new, it's a clean dive with a lovely pool table, bar seating, video games and TVs. Don't forget about the picnic seating outside. Right now, it's strictly a selection of beer and canned wine. But they'll soon have their liquor license, so I'm curious to know what kind of cocktails they'll serve. Will they go the dive bar craft cocktail route or straight up cheap and strong. Hungry? They have a rotating list of food purveyors. Sunday was a kind gentleman by the name of Marcus running his Knife & Cleaver stand - jerk chicken wings, vegan pesto pasta, and couscous salad. Other days - we'll see what else they bring in. If you're a fan of simple, no frills dives like Big Star Bar and Sassafras - then you'll appreciate this new East End addition.

EaDo is a nice bar hopping area, and I stopped here on a night I decided to go out. It's not a very large bar as it has pool tables, darts, and a cute jukebox for selection of music. Outside has some seating as well if you want a cigarette, but the bartenders are super friendly in this neighborhood bar. I had a Modello, which is similar to a Corona only stringer. The beer was a little dark tasting for me, but there are other drink selections other than beer. I didn't really notice anything on tap, but all the local beers are there to try. Might go for a margarita or some other fancy drink here next time. People who walk in here are friendly as well. The bartender handed some people I saw walk in their drink without even asking. So I think the neighborhood is pretty well known. Cool little spot for a different area of town.

Son and I decided we'd try and different part of town to bar hop on a Friday night. We started here. Cute inside with the Christmas lights over the bar. Very nice jukebox selections. Plenty of seating inside and out. It was clean and not so loud as to have to yell to talk. Super chill bartenders. Most people who walked in were just handed a beer. So they have the neighborhood bar thing down pat. Decent beer selection. I don't remember anything on tap but my son just wanted a Modelo. I was disappointed that their single malt Scotch choices was...well just one choice. But the poor was nice. Everyone at the bar was watching the Astros game. It was a nice group of folks who really were fans and interested in the game and talking about the team. They had a nice area for smokers outside.

I have found my hole in the wall!!! This jewel is literally down the street from my house. After reading the reviews, I had to check this place out. I walked to this place after work on day and was greeted by the friendly bartender. My friend and I sat at the bar and noticed there were two totally different movies playing on the tv's. They're giving the people variation. I like it. We were advised it was $3 well drinks until 8pm. We took full advantage of this. I did notice they had a great selection of beers and wines to offer as well. The atmosphere is very chill, dive bar vibe. Everyone was just enjoy the evening and trying to unwind. They also have a selection of old school arcade games too. Will this be my new fav bar? It is a strong contender. Bianca

Walked in and we were the first one there. YES we enjoy day drinking. Travis the bartender was AMAZING! I seriously fell in love with who he is. Great smile, great personality, and obviously a good time. I had a pineapple beer which was great and he made me a Michelada drink with a jalapeño shot and I still can't get how good that drink tasted out my mouth. I will definitely be going back thanks to him

This place is super cool with cheap drinks. On weekends, they usually have tacos or a hotdog stand in the outdoor patio area. Only complaint is that it is a small area inside, and it can get pretty crowded and they only have 3 booths. They have a pool table and a few arcade games.

I lived in the neighborhood for 33 years and bar far the worst bar we went after game 6 ws me and my buddy , ordered 2 shots of tequila my buddy went outside for phone call when I went to call to drink the shot, and let me say this the bar was empty max 6 people , bartender was being rude ,attitude , anyways I came back in and shots were gone , asked the bartender where are my shots (with an attitude she says idk I gave them to you ) I said I told you I'ma call my buddy no one else's is around , and she stated she didn't know all I said ok I see how it is and walked away I even told the security I'm the front door

I was charged an extra 10$ & only found out after checking my acct. Keep an eye on ur receipts from this place as this has happened before.

First time, I have been hearing about a new dive down from work. The bar has a good selection of beer and a good happy hour for the area. A must try and good tunes on the jukebox. The bar is quaint and has WiFi. The frozen drink of the week was amazing. You will get a good buzz for the buck. I gave it four stars since no local eats available. The bartender is fine with delivering food to the bar.

This bar is a gem in the neighborhood Its literally down the street from my place so I have no complaints the vibe is super chill, no douchebags just people trying to have a drink and have a good time. They have great specials different days of the week and always had great interactions with the staff. Over all win-win!

A couple Saturdays ago I went in to have a drink with a few friends. I opened up a tab, but then forgot to close it before I left, leaving my card at the front counter. I didn't call them the following Sunday because I figured they would be closed for Easter. By this time I've left to go back to Austin so I can't swing by and pick it up myself. They were then closed for the next few days for construction so I still couldn't get in touch with them. No biggie. The following weekend I try calling them several times during business hours. They don't answer. I leave a voicemail. Nothing. I write on their Facebook wall to try and get their attention. Nada. Since I'm in Austin I can't pick it up, so I text a friend and ask him to drop by. He does and they tell him to tell me to call them. So I do. They don't answer even after I call them at least half a dozen more times. They still don't answer, nor have they responded to me after leaving them a second voicemail. I went ahead and ordered a new card. Fuck these guys.

Weird name, decent dive bar. Neighborhood dive bars only need cold beer and places to sit. That's exactly what you get here. Inside the weird purple exterior is bar that feels pretty thrown together from the concrete floor to the second hand furniture everything is adequate and nothing more. Perfect for a neighborhood hangout, not worth driving across town for. They have a pool table, a pinball machine, and Pac-Man. They could really improve the place with liquor and draft beer, right now it's basically just an ice house but that is fine. If they want to attract people from outside the neighborhood then they'll need to step things up.

This place is great! We've been here twice since it opened, once since they got their liquor license. This is definitely going to be our new local watering hole. It's a very laid back atmosphere. Incredibly reasonable prices, nice bartenders, jukebox, pool table, dog friendly patio....what more could you ask for? Three thumbs way up, EaDo!

A clean dive bar with a clean bathroom? "What a concept!" Litteraly the only thing you need know about this place other than the cleanliness, is that they serve drinks in a very unpretentious atmosphere. A perfect place to avoid normies.

Very laid back neighborhood bar, snuggled in the east end. Friendly bartenders and absolutely no pretentiousness. I can walk in and order a beer just to relax or hang for several hours playing music on the juke box and rotating from the patio back to the bar. Happy to have this place near by!

Ummmm, very odd spot. If you go get a Montucky Cold Snack. Some unique people here. I'm only giving it 5 stars cause it's not my kinda place. But I get and feel what people would like about it.

I like it. Finally a local place to go to! But went in today for a beer while out for a bike ride and the place stank! So something is going on since the last time I was there. Smelled like sewage.

Personality of a mop. No "thank you" or simple smile. I chose this bar to hang, but got the worst vodka tonic I've ever ordered. Too bad, so sad.

They'll try and keep whatever change you're owed as a tip. Regardless of the amount. This happened to me TWICE. I'm all for tipping, and I always do, but don't take it upon yourself to keep my change. Definitely won't be back.

Pretty new bar in 2nd ward. It's located in an old building that they've been working on. New paint, new AC, new bar, that sort of thing. I went for happy hour and was drinking $3 whiskeys. The bartender was cool. He seemed to know everyone who walked in the door. It's a rad spot. No frills classic neighborhood dive with craft beer and good booze. My kinda place. I'll be back. Oh, the jukebox is killer too.

Cool dive bar in cool, up and coming area. Really nice bartender, they are currently working on getting their liquor license in about a month. Good place to have a beer on the patio or play pool.

My favorite bar by far and less than a mile walk from my house! Catchy name, cheap drinks, no lines and PAC MAN! I love it more and more each time I go! See y'all this weekend!

Sensational craft cocktails without the wait or pretense. Further the price is half that of the typical craft joint. A genuine find. Do not come here. It is mine, all mine!! I like the smell of this place.

Not mad at the overall bar for my experience. This place is what it is. A lone dive bar joint in an underdeveloped area, with super chill and low tempo vibes where you go to shoot pool and chill with friends. Don't go in with high expectations or looking for value prices, it's a solid spot to hang with buddies and shoot the sh*t. I had bad interactions with the bartender throughout the night. I'm not someone you would stereotype as a "regular" for this type of place right when I walked in and I felt my treatment reflected that. My drinks were received with a scoff, my questions had eye rolls accompanied, and my waves were ignored. I put in a couple of dollars to buy a group of songs from the jukebox and my queue was "suspended" halfway through so that the "honky tonk" playlist could remain. I asked if there was an issue with my selections and I was replied with a slew of shrugs and assurances that I didn't know what I was talking about. Again, I'm a fan of dive bars and perhaps I just received the D-squad treatment on this Wednesday night, but I don't have much desire to return and I implore others to just remain west and go somewhere else to buy a $5 beer.

two stars for close to my house, one star for knowledgeable staff. ordered a beer and a shot of basil hayden on the rocks. got a beer and a shot straight up. ok. asked for rocks got rocks. asked the bartender to to add another shot to the shot on the rocks, he dumps the previous shot,about a quarter of a shot out. I said hey that was my shot he apologizes I say no worries just top it off ie replace what you threw away he pours one shot and asks if he can keep a a bit to taste cause he has never had basil hayden. im like wow no give me the rest of the second shot I paid for and, to myself, forget about the partial shot you tossed. tipped three bucks on a beer and 1 2/3 shot for half assed rather amatuer service. perhaps a total of 20 min time spent in the place. so to review location fabulous, selection great, service amature at best and im guessing mngmt ,but could not swear to although ive been a bartender for thirty plus years and know it when I see it,has a tight fist on the staff and does not allow them much leeway thus the customer will almost always be wrong. this of course is pure conjecture on my part. what is not conjecture is that I have spent my last dollar at this hipster watering hole. good luck and all my best.
