14 Normal Bars In Midtown - New York - The Infatuation

"Lilly’s looks like the kind of college town bar where grad students get beers after exams or pick-up rugby games. The exposed brick and long wooden bar make it feel civilized enough to meet an old colleague after work, or you can get drinks with college friends who all also work in Midtown now, and end up singing along to “Come On Eileen” at one of the six-person high-tops. Either way, make use of a long tap list and Happy Hour everyday till 8pm." - matt tervooren

17 Great Bottomless Brunch Deals In NYC - New York - The Infatuation

"The Deal: $28 for 90 minutes of unlimited mimosas, bellinis, or bloody marys with purchase of entree Lilly’s looks like the most popular bar in your college town, and it also gets packed with people looking to brunch like an undergrad. Not that it’s hard to fill this narrow Hell's Kitchen spot up. But the chaos is what makes Lilly's suitable to get increasingly drunker and louder, until you finally end up singing along to “Come On Eileen” with the whole room. Choose from typical brunch stuff, like breakfast sandwiches and steak and eggs." - neha talreja, bryan kim

Cassie’s the best bartender. Can’t hate unless you make up reasons to be a hater! Food is always fantastic beer selection if phenom! perfect place to stop for a beer before a show

Google
Lilly’s Craft and Kitchen was an incredible experience and the perfect way to end our trip to NYC. We visited during the holidays and this was our final brunch before heading home. The food was amazing and I still think about the banana foster pancakes to this day. They were absolutely unforgettable. Our waitress was outstanding and kept the mimosas coming. We never had an empty glass the entire time we were there. The service was warm, attentive, and truly made the experience even better. I really wish I remembered her name because she was that memorable. My friends all tipped on their cards but I had planned to leave a cash tip and completely forgot. After we left, I actually called the restaurant in tears asking if I could send it to her through Cash App or another way. She insisted it was fine, which made me appreciate her kindness even more. The mimosas definitely got to me that day but I genuinely hope to return and thank her properly. The prices were also exceptional and worth every penny. From the food to the drinks to the service, everything was spot on. I highly recommend stopping by if you are looking for a standout brunch spot in the city.

Google
We went to Lilly’s for bottomless brunch with a group of 9 and had the best time! Riley and Katie are the best server/bartender duo! It is obvious that they love what they do and they made our experience truly amazing. Also highly recommend the prosciutto benedict!

Google
Really nice and chill spot on the West side. We were pleasantly greeted when we walked in the door by our server. The food was excellent and very reasonable for a family of 5 to enjoy a nice meal. We would definitely go back. Quick walk from TSQ as well.

Google
Made a last minute reservation for 9 people. Katie and Riley were awesome and made our dining experience super fun. They rolled with our silly conversations and made sure our bottomless brunch glasses were never empty including our request for “very large waters”. The prosciutto Benedict is a must have. 10 out or 10 would recommend!!

Google
We were new to Lily's...after having had bottomless brunch at a few other places in NYC. We walked in at 10 am and were the only people there. The waitress sat us and took our order. My fiance had coffee and said it was "un drinkable". Absolutely awful. Then came the bottomless drinks. They aren't pre batched, like other places...but drinks were made to order. The mimosas were ALL juice with almost no prosecco. Terrible, overly sweet and zero carbonation. We said something to the waitress (when we could get her attention from her phone) and she explained that they make them weak because college kids come in and drink way too much sometimes. We are in our fifties and sixties - we were obviously not that age and shouldn't have been a concern. I can't say it enough...the drinks were not good. The food was decent. Not amazing but definitely not bad. We had the sundried tomato omelet and a breakfast burrito. Atmosphere was ok. In a city with so many choices, there are better options. Fun atmosphere and decent drinks for bottomless brunch - try POCO.

Google
I’ve been a regular for years. The drinks and staff are all amazing, with great music. I always set it off in this fine establishment with great vibes and energy, especially with Cassie (my Rangers New York Friend to the End).

Yelp
Casey was top notch. We had a wonderful dining experience. Would highly recommend the food, especially the nachos.

Yelp
Just a couple pics. But a cool bar and kitchen with a good vibe. Ekin was our party's server. He is awesome. Willing to accommodate and made our experience great. Pre marathon mid morning snack. Pancakes were awesome. Fresh and perfect portion. Accompanied by fruit. French Toast was perfect and also great portion. We saw many fab plates. I'd definitely recommend checking them out!

Yelp
Had a lovely weekend brunch here on a Saturday. I tried the Voodoo Ranger Juicy Haze IPA after they ran out of Allagash White, and surprisingly ended up loving it--even though I never like IPAs! My husband enjoyed his house IPA too. Honestly, this IPA might've converted me for life--did not see that plot twist coming. We ordered the garden omelette and classic omelette. They usually come with home fries, but we swapped them for regular fries which worked perfectly. The classic omelette came with mushrooms by mistake, but since we didn't want to waste food, we kept it. The server offered to replace it right away, which we appreciated. At this point we were too happy (and too hungry) to let a few mushrooms ruin anything. Ambience was vibey, service was good, and overall it made for a solid brunch spot. Good food, good vibes, and an unexpected IPA love story--what more can you ask for on a weekend?

Yelp
Great neighborhood bar with a traditional vibe serving an ever changing menu of crafted cocktails! We went on a Saturday evening after dinner around 11pm and it was crowded but was able to secure a table! I had a lavender haze, which was delicious! Staff are always pleasant and the crowd is social so be ready to have a good time!

Elaine M.

Yelp
James and his staff couldn't have been nicer. Cozy clean atmosphere and a tasty fresh burger. The house beer was perfect for me. Light, crisp and cold It was a great way to spend St Patty's Day.

Yelp
I wouldn't quite call this a gastropub, but it is a pub with solid food choices. I especially like the counter facing out the front so you can watch 9th Avenue go by as you eat. The perfect vibe after a long day. Buffalo Chicken Spring Rolls: A very meaty appetizer. Like the entire filling is nicely seasoned chicken. Crispy thin wrapper. Really liked dipping in the chunky bleu cheese. What a fun novel take on a traditional bar classic. French Dip: A playful interactive meal. There really should be more dipping sandwiches. Love how the bread soaks up the umami flavor of the broth and then the meat moistens a bit. The bread was toasted a bit too much for my tastes though, so it seemed a little burnt, but other than that really good. Avocado Salad w/ Chicken: A nice "salad" with nacho chips, why not? Pretty hearty.

Yelp
Been coming to Lilly's for years. It's always a good place to hangout at. It always feels so cozy and warm and so does the staff. Riley took great care of us, We had bottomless brunch. I got the bloody maria and my friends got bellinis. It was a little to sweet for my friend and they adjusted the sweetness by pouring a bit more prosecco. I loved my bloody maria, I don't know what recipe they have but it was so delicious, along with their brunch food. I got the Roadside Omelette, my friend got the fried chicken Crispy Chicken Sandwich and my other friend got the Short Rib Eggs Benedict. All very delicious!! It was so great seeing James again, he's the manager. I remember when he was still a bartender, He always had so much patience with drunk customers like me I would always recommend Lilly's to anyone and everyone.

Yelp
Me and a few of my work friends couldn't decide on where or what to eat for brunch on Christmas Day. Was thinking of anything nearby our hotel either along 10th or 9th Avenues in Hell's Kitchen. I'd say about half of the eateries were closed and a few were open for the holiday. We ended up at Lily's Craft and Kitchen just a few blocks away. All of us have walked past here many times but never tried their food before. Walked in and it didn't seem too busy, every TV screen tuned into a basketball game playing that afternoon, while many tables with bar seats available for small and medium sized groups. The staff seated us 5 easily. When seated, the majority of us ordered a drink while browsing the brunch menu. Lots of drinks available, including appetizers and a bunch of entrees as well. Two decided on a Maple Espressotini, while I wanted a Bloody Mary. There were 2 that was still recovering from their Holiday Party and stuck with water. Surprisingly all of our food came out quickly, nice and hot, delicious and hit the spot. We were all very impressed with our food and it was plated nicely. The none-drinkers both ordered the breakfast burrito burger, while us 3 all had some sort of Eggs Benedict. The energy and environment was right, service was friendly. I'd definitely come back again, perhaps HH or a night cap in the near future. Happy Holidays!!!

Yelp
Intimate, rustic & divey kind of look & feel, but welcoming. My husband gave me a few choices in area by our theater and I liked Lilly's menu and beer selection best. We had 4:30 reservation. Problem was we got into NYC at 3 and was starving then. Lilly's was able to seat us early, but it's still exclusively the brunch menu. At 3pm. While watching NFL and wanting to enjoy a few beers, you can have breakfast. That's on me I guess. Had no idea it was brunch only until 4pm on Sundays. I guess the servers thought we were going to leave because nobody came over to our table. I had to ask them to take our order, which was fine. After that the service was good. Didn't feel like wandering around to find another place so we stayed. I had the only non breakfast thing on menu, spicy chicken sandwich. It was very good, but the hashbrowns on the side was so chintzy. For the price throw on a handful. It's just a potato. Steak & eggs, 3 of 5 in our party had, and they all raved about it. French toast sticks were yummy, but little overkill on the sweet icing for our taste. Enjoyed being able to watch all the games st the same time. Loved sipping local IPA I can't get at home. Disappointed we didn't get to experience the dinner menu. Definitely would come back.

Yelp
Came upon this place. Very busy bar but the food is very good. Service is very fast by getting our food and serving it. Place is a small cute bar. Will definitely come back in the morning since we already tasted the night food. Check out food images. Recommend for sure.

Yelp
Man came down on vacation from Los Angeles decided to go have some drinks Sunday night in the rain man the bartender was onit gave us are drinks quick and very nice guy we will definitely be back
google avatar

Yelp
We went for brunch. It was cute inside, busy and very crowded. The mimosas and bellinis were good. The food was fine. I'd probably go again.

Tom C.

Yelp
Amazing food and service!!! Why haven't I been here before?!?! Can't wait to come back!!!
google avatar

Dimpie S.

Yelp
The service was absolutely amazing. My friends had a blast and the server ensure we got our money's worth with bottomless. The server was kind enough to let us wait and order off the main menu instead of the brunch menu since we all wanted sandwiches. It was also beautiful outside and the high top table seating was a vibe. The bar inside is smaller. Food was good! We all enjoyed the fries and burgers. No complaints at all! Would definitely come back and it is definitely a hidden gem compared to the other overrated NYC brunch places
google avatar

Vivek D.

Yelp
Enjoyed a nightcap here with my girl, cousin, and another couple. I was surprise that the place was more than just a typical bar and it had proper seating, even if it was just for drinks. The drink options were more than plenty and generous for that part of NYC. Had a fun time overall and would probably come again if I had the choice to do so.

Yelp
Love coming here for an after work drink on Wednesday and Thursday evenings! Music, food and ambiance are stellar. Great Bartenders!

Yelp
Late night bar with late night eats !!! This is located on the very busy ninth avenue and so many places to pick from . This was a true gem because they open till real late . Very limited menu after 10 but it was great!

Yelp

Yelp
I did not eat here, but I teach in the area and often I need a toilet break after my travels to and from my class. The staff at this establishment was friendly, helpful and professional. Thank you for helping me when I needed it.
google avatar

Yelp
Great night, food, ambiance, happy hour hour lit. Simon- service was a 10/10 friends and I will be back!

Yelp
Terrific place food and atmosphere top notch Would highly recommend it for anyone who wants to just hang out with friends or have a few after work drinks

Charlotte S.

Yelp
Cassie was fantastic. She gave great recommendations that were spot on. Great personality. They are lucky to have Cassie! Short rib entree was outstanding! Short rib sliders excellent as well. Definitely will come back when in NYC
google avatar

Rejena B.

Yelp
Great fish and chips, salmon dishes. Service was pleasant and good out fast. Definitely a nice experience. Bar stools throughout make it tough to sit comfortably
google avatar

Megan L.

Yelp
Did bottomless mimosas with my girl friends! Bartender was so nice and friendly, and their bottomless options are actually so good. LOVED the bellini and mimosas. Food is what brought my rating down because I feel like it felt like a meal I could cook at home? Some basic wheat toast, scrambled eggs, and avocado. It was heavily unseasoned, and it was also a pretty expensive entree too.
google avatar

Robin G.

Yelp
Went after the Ann Frank exhibit and before "Art". Service was fast, food good. Worked out perfectly. Had the crispy chicken sandwich. All good.
google avatar

Kye B.

Yelp
Had a great night, late night. I loved the ciders they had and the bartender was charming af (Colin?). It was a bit loud but I attribute that to the overall liveliness of the joint. There's something about this space/place...it's still got that "thang " (maybe it's the 4am close that captures my attention)

Nick L.

Yelp
Patrick was great and an incredible waiter. He made the experience so much better. Food is great and bottomless is 11/10
google avatar

Cecilia C K.

Yelp
Steak and eggs were delicious . Eggs weren't very runny but they tasted good anyway .. service was great but a little more patience would be great . Ambiance was very nice ..
google avatar

Phoebe A.

Yelp
I've been here a few times over the last few years, and it is a solid brunch spot. I stopped by recently after working out, and I got the short rib eggs benedict. The short rib was tender and flavorful. But my favorite part is the roasted potatoes - very crunchy and surprisingly flavorful. While I didn't get any cocktails during my last visit, but I've usually enjoyed the drinks. Overall, it's a nice spot with a cool, rustic vibe. Will definitely visit again.

D'Mariel J.

Yelp
Had a great time at Happy Hour! Great ambiance and staff was soooooo amazing! Ask for Simon when you come!
google avatar

Max M.

Yelp
The service was unbelievable. The bartender was extremely accommodating to me and my family. Haven't seen customer service that exceptional in a long time.
google avatar

Angela S.

Yelp
The food was bland and basic as far as brunch food is concerned. The service and atmosphere were fine, but the food was just not there for us.

Olivia W.

Yelp
the kitchen is open late, and their cocktail menu is amazing along with their draft beer selection. lilly's is always a great late night spot, and super chill. everyone here is so kind, and i always feel safe and taken care of by the bartenders. lilly's will continue to be my regular bar for years to come. truly a gem of bar.
google avatar

Yelp
Very fabulous. Delicious food. Come here all the time. Brunch is the best. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Very nice find. My wife and I were looking for a nice, cozy joint for dinner and drinks with my wife's cousin and friends who were visiting from Oklahoma. We wanted a spot that was close to their hotel in Hell's Kitchen, but not a tourist trap. We ended up here based on Yelp and Google recommendations. We were glad we did. The place was nice. It has that gastropub appeal without being snotty or pretentious. The rest room was actually immaculate, surprisingly! The food was very good. I had the beef sliders while my wife had the baked nachos. He's cousin had the skirt steak. All were very tasty, not too heavy. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The bartender was very cool. When he heard is singing along with the music, he asked if we wanted to borrow his microphone for instant karaoke. Never offer that to a shameless Filipino. I took up his offer (he was surprised and didn't think I was serious). So, in my usual hammy fashion, I sung up the whole place, to my wife's shame and regret. All in all, we had a great time and we highly recommend this spot for some good, affordable food and drinks in the City.
google avatar

Tiffany W.

Yelp
Def would recommend their expresso martini! Def hit the right spot as I was in need for a caffeine boost while waiting for a friend to grab a small bite before our show nearby. The chicken sandwich I had was okay but I def enjoyed the tater tots as they were nice and crispy. Staff was friendly and attentive. This place is a good spot to hang in the area but it may get a bit roudy with groups

Alexa W.

Yelp
Stopped in for a quick snack and drink - enjoyed the atmosphere and great service. Cassie was a delight and made our afternoon!
google avatar

Yelp
Lilies is a staple stop for us every time we go to Manhattan. We we're headed to the auto expo and decided to stop at Lily's to have breakfast brunch/lunch and some adult beverages. We got in without any sort of drama, we did have a reservation, but we opted to sit at the bar. The service at the bar was decent but nothing to write home about. I ordered the spicy chicken sandwich from the brunch menu and the piece of chicken on my sandwich was at best a chicken tender or a nugget. It kind of tasted like a chicken nugget dipped in hot sauce and the bread was a little bit on the stale side. We have always had a great experience at lilies. I feel like I would be doing them a disservice to not bring up our disappointment this particular morning

Alexander G.

Yelp
Made a last minute reservation for 9 people. Katie and Riley were awesome and made our dining experience super fun. They rolled with our silly conversations and made sure our bottomless brunch glasses were never empty including our request for "very large waters". The prosciutto Benedict is a must have.

Yelp
I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich - tasted great; not too spicy! The Fries were so good! Our server was very nice. Overall atmosphere is very loud, too loud for my liking. We were sat in the building next to the main.
google avatar

Gabby S.

Yelp
Great little spot if you're looking for somewhere off of Times Square before a show. Super quaint, friendly staff, well priced beer and flavorful dishes. The perfect pop-in!

Chip B.

Yelp
My wife and I go to this awesome place every time we're on 9th street in Manhattan! The moment you enter, you feel like you're part of their family! What a person Cassie is! She engages you as soon as you come in and she guides you thru the process of choosing the perfect craft beer! She's bubbly and keeps us all in a great mood! These Texans' thoroughly enjoyed everything about Lilly's!
google avatar

Max G.

Yelp
Good ribeye! it was cooked perfectly and was delicious. My wife loved the Salmon. Staff was friendly - would go here again!
google avatar

Amanda S.

Yelp
Walked in on a whim while visiting with friends and ended up staying all afternoon because Cassie is the BEST, most welcoming, hilarious, and real bartender! Everything I ever wanted out of a bar in NYC thanks to Cassie and the atmosphere.
google avatar

Nicholas M.

Yelp
Service was fast. We sat outside and the water and ordering were pretty quick. There are some tables outside and it can fit a group of 8. Short rib Benedict - 4.5/5 was delicious but there wasn't enough food for a guy like me. The potatoes were honestly amazing, very crispy and big. The poached egg oozed out and the short rib was tender and flavorful. My bun was slightly burnt but it was still good. My friends egg was hard boiled so we had to send his back but they gave him a new egg Benedict in less than 5 mins. I also tried a friend's texmex omelette and that was not that good. It needed more seasoning. Overall great service and food. The omelette needed work but we all enjoyed our food. There is a 20% surcharge for large groups (6 or more) and there's a 3% surcharge on credit cards.
google avatar

Paul C.

Yelp
What a great find! Fun neighborhood feel bar with great food. But the icing on the cake is Cassie behind the bar. Can't wait to go back!
google avatar

Leslie S.

Yelp
Pros: Great ambiance, the decor was also really cool. The food was okay, I wish there was more hollandaise on my eggs, the potatoes also needed some sort of sauce. Cons: The most disappointing part was the service, it was sooooo slow and they were borderline rude. They had us sitting there completely unattended for about 10 minutes before we even got greeted and our server had walked by at least 5 times at this point. I know breakfast can be busy, but a quick "hey be with you soon" would have sufficed. Once he did help us he was either in a bad mood or having a day, because he was condescending. The drinks also took about 15 minutes to arrive. The bar was empty but it comes from next door. I think part of the problem is that they were understaffed. Def not returning.
