"Ceviche is often referred to as the signature dish of Peru. Diners craving the fresh, citrusy dish will have plenty of choices at Lima Limon. The restaurant offers eight varieties including ceviche de camarones (fresh shrimp marinated in lime juice with sweet potatoes and Peruvian corn) and ceviche mixto (fresh mixed seafood and raw fish strips in lime juice with sweet potatoes and Peruvian corn). Other dishes include papa a la huancaina (potatoes smothered in yellow pepper cheese sauce), and Italian-inspired fettuccine alfredo." - Krista Diamond

This was a great little gem off the strip. It is traditional, flavorful, and great atmosphere. Great music playing in the background. The waitstaff were very attentive and kind. My drink was always full and the food was above what u expected. Try the flavors of Peru done right.

Delicious Peruvian food. We had arroz con mariscos, salteado de lomo com tallarín a la huancaina and were really good. Service was ok but they could do better.

I read the reviews and I did not had the same experience, mi experience was really good, there is always a reason for something, again our experience was great! No waiting ( we got there at 6:20 in a Saturday night) the waiter greet us and take us to a table right away, he was friendly, got our drinks ( chicha with maracuya and inka cola) and shortly after our appetizer (stuffed palta) arrived with a big smile on a female waiter, then , they have came to check on us and shortly after our food arrived ( piqueo Lima limón, house special) and it was very good, so much flavor and if you thought we Mexicans eat to much lime wait to try Peruvian food! It was plenty for the both of us and we take some home. Our table neighbors share a secret with us the special of the day is not in the menu and it’s always something different make sure you ask for it, tonight’s was empanadas (3) and looked great. The portions in this place are big, you will not go home hungry, prices are very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food our final bill was about $67 + tax+tip. We will return! The final picture was not in our order, it was at the bar and it looked so good that I asked if I can get a picture is called Jalea. Mami ya encontré lo que probamos antes que cerrara “Peruvian hands”, otro muy recomendable también. Update: 10/19/24 we been here several time, always great, today we got here at 7:25 pm ( they close at 8), the place had only a few tables left and we got a seat in less that 5 min. Food in 15-20 m, great service, excellent flavors. People was still getting here at 8:10 and given tables without any problems. We order the piqueo plater, my favorite😋 delicioso!

Love it here, food was so flavorful. The pasta has such unique flavor. Love the shrimp and rice. I will definitely be back. 4.12.21 Waited more than hour to be seat, which was fine. We didn't mind the wait since we knew it does take a long time to be seat. But when we order our food it took more than hour to come out and cold. Just a Disappointed completely, nothing like our first time 5.7.22 Decide to come back and give it another chance. But it was a fail, quiet disappointing with the long wait to get our food, and service. Food was under cook and took over hour to get. And the waiter seem upset we would ask for a refill and napkins. He was arguing with one of his co workers over a table and tips. I don't know what happened it was such a gem of restaurant.

I liked the service, the waiter was very friendly and attentive to us, I recommend them.

Google
This was our 1st time having Peruvian food and absolutely loved it! We were previously warned by friends that the wait after ordering would be long but the food would be worth it and they were right on! It was delicious! We’ve never had ceviche like this before and it blew us away! They don’t serve it with tostadas like at a Mexican Restaurant instead is submerged in a broth that is so flavorful it can be eaten spoonful like a cold soup. We ordered the 3 different flavor broth “ceviche mixto” to try them all and the green one was our absolute favorite. We also ordered a popular dish called “Lomo Saltado” which came with a side of rice and fries tossed in sautéed onions and tomatoes. The beef was real tender and was perfectly seasoned. We also ordered “Maracuya agua fresca” passion fruit sugar water made in house. It was refreshing and delicious. The service was copacetic but I wish it would have been better because we did advise him it was our first time having Peruvian food and I wish he would have done a better job at suggesting an appetizer that would come out quickly so we had something to munch on with our sugar water/agua fresca. Nonetheless we will be returning!

Google
My co-worker who is a foodie just like myself suggested this place. The food was amazing!!! When you walk in a restaurant at 1:30 in the afternoon on a Saturday and it's full of families you know you are in the right place. Our waiter was very helpful, he spoke Spanish but we were able to figure everything out. I can't wait to come back here with my husband. I now know where I will be coming to get my fried rice when I have a hankering for it. The food came out fast and it was hot. All of the wait staff was very helpful and friendly. Everything comes with french fries. The shrimp was actually an appetizer. The Pickled spicy onions and vegetables was so delicious they give you two sauces that I didn't get an opportunity to take a picture of. I prefer the red sauce over the green but they both were tasty. I don't drink pop often but you must try their pop

Google
Tasty food. My ceviche was really good but if you don’t like it spicy make sure you let them know cause mild was borderline too much for me. My husband ordered the steak which was also very tasty. I agree with other reviews saying that it takes a while to be seated and to get your food, I believe we waited like 40 minutes from the moment we sat down till we got my husband’s plate. They need to improve their service but overall the food is great.

David H.

Yelp
Their fish soup for $20 was amazing. Fish was a nice white fish, while not a lot but quality was definite there. Flakey tender soft fish accompanied with shrimp, muscle. Reminds me of a Peruvian bouillabaisse. Server was top shelf, attentive, recommended menu items.

Genesis B.

Yelp
Worst Huancaina talllarin I have had in my entire life. I am Peruvian and usually don't write reviews but the food here was disgusting. The huancaina noodles tasted like Velveeta cheese sauce the portion was so small for 27 dollar plate. Please go elsewhere for your Peruvian food. This plate is a disgrace to my culture and people. Not satisfied with my service and after I didn't want to pay for it they harassed me to pay for my plate even though I did not enjoy it. I promise our traditional Peruvian huancaina plate is better this place just messed it up for us. Go elsewhere for your Peruvian food.

Maria L.

Yelp
We've been coming here since they opened. A solid variety of beloved Peruvian food and friendly service. My favorites here are the Lomo Saltado, anticuchos, and fish in shrimp sauce. If you're looking for authentic goodness, you have to stop by and try this spot!!

Kyra H.

Yelp
The ceviche is always worth getting here. I recommend the verde, but we've tried the other flavors and they're all good. I also love the fried rice, which perfectly suits the pallet of my household's main "picky eater." Sometimes the kitchen can take longer than others, so call ahead if you are in a hurry for take out.

Yelp
every time I go to Las Vegas, I end up going to my favorite Peruvian restaurant spot Lima Limon. This restaurant is as authentic Peruvian as you're gonna find anywhere in the United States and I've been to many different ones throughout the country! I had a Peruvian staple Jalea. What am I go to dishes whenever I go to approve and Restaurant. And let me tell you they don't get it right every time in different but this one is awesome. Just the right crunch with the balance of all the seafood creatures you're gonna love. My son is a very standard eater however, he still enjoyed his Arroz con Pollo a la plancha and fries! To add a touch of flavor, we ordered some fried plantains. The staff is very professional and they dressed that way whether you're doing a birthday party or just having a quick lunch this place has a varied menu. The traditionally ceviche is an early part of the day dish were enjoying it in the late afternoon evening. If You're looking for Peruvian restaurant, off the strip look no further than Lima Limon!

Antonia C.

Yelp
Everything needs improvement. Food very low quality and expensive. Attitude of waiters atrocious. I will never patronize this place again. Any restaurant on the strip treats their customers better. If you want to eat Peruvian food go to Moia .

Jiun M.

Yelp
The second I've been here. First time was with my best friend who said I needed to try Peruvian food. And I could not fight with her to not come here. She insisted to come here whenever we had the time. This time around I brought my husband and damn, we ordered only 3 things got so full!! The portions are nice and big.

Kala M.

Yelp
Great service and the food was very authentic. The outside it looks like a whole in the wall then you walk in and it's beautiful.

Jin N.

Yelp
I was craving the whole Peruvian roasted chicken and was a bit disappointed that they did not serve that but grilled chicken only. The spot it in a really random place. Calamari- 5/5 stars. Definitely get this. Was good. Ceviche- 3/5 stars. It was good but not sure if I'd order again Grilled chicken dish- 4/5 stars. This was their most well-known dish along with lomo saltado. It was tender, juicy, and good. Lomo Saltado- 3/5 stars. The beef was a bit tough.

Mark Y.

Yelp
Talk about a classic and very yummy Peruvian eatery in the LV! We come here on each visit and this time around not only was the food on par but they did some renovation work. Their menu is quite large and we've had numerous dishes but each time we go we learn about something new. This time it was the Arroz Chaufa de Mariscos "seafood fried rice" (number 28 on the menu) which was loaded with shrimp, squid and fish and the nice "wok hei" flavor. Some of our other must haves are the Chicharron de calamar (number 6) that is a deep fried calamari mixed in with fried yucca and tartar sauce. Another go to dish OK it comes in an oversized cocktail glass is the Leche de Tigre Ceviche that you can order as medium spicy in an orange colored sauce or spicy in a green sauce (number 22) loaded with coastal seafood marinated in a tangy lime sauce, cilantro and Peruvian chiles. Lastly we had the Super Lomo served on a sizzling platter and loaded with tender steak pieces, French fries, red and green bell peppers and red onions (number 16). The sauce is to die for and can be added into a side of white rice too. I just love all the numerous finds you can find off the strip and at a reasonable price point! Our server was great and gave us some pointers for our order and he kept coming back to make sure everything was good. The ambiance is lively but overly noisy and the large TV screens have soccer games playing every time we've been there.

Yelp
Good food horrible service, highly recommend take out instead. Servers and bussers tend to give funny looks through out the shift and ignore you when calling them over.

Shawn H.

Yelp
Amazing place. Looks small and not anything special from the outside, but the inside is quite charming and spacious. Great service. The food is incredible. Everything we got was great. I don't know how they make the meats so tender. Definitely going back.

Lauren W.

Yelp
The FLAVORS are on point here. Menu has a good amount of options to really dive into the Peruvian culture. We ordered Tigre ceviche and yucca and plantains. Loved how they added the corn inside the ceviche so that you had crunch in every bite with the seafood. Our server was very friendly and they even accommodated our service animal. Quick. Pricing is good for the portion size. Resturant is nice size and has cute decor that really brings you the feeling of being in Peru! Will def be visiting again!

Karoly S.

Yelp
Finally made it to try this place and it definitely lived up to the recommendation. The restaurant itself is super cute inside and the staff is very attentive and accommodating. The food is extremely flavorful and the menu has a good selection of Peruvian favorites! My favorite dish here is the Ceviche de Tigre. Do try this place!!!

Nicole L.

Yelp
This place is great!! Loved the whole atmosphere of the location and as a daughter of Peruvian parents I really appreciated the music selection reminding me of my childhood! The food was very flavorful and the portion size is definitely big so come ready to share! Our server was super friendly and offered some awesome selections for us to choose from! I really loved the arroz chaufa for sure! Excited to come back again!

Julia S.

Yelp
Nice restaurant, good food, and friendly staff. Customer service was great. I loved my Lomo Saltado! Delicious! The salchipapas were so good too! My husband enjoyed his Leche de Tigre!

Carla C.

Yelp
Food is so good! But customer service on the other hand is actually the worst I've experienced in quite sometime. We come every time we're in Vegas, but this time our server was no where to be found. A couple that had came after us had finished their entire meal while we had barely received our appetizers that had been sitting in the well for over 5 minutes getting cold. When they finally arrived there was a hair in our food which they had no problem fixing, but then throughout our entire meal we had nobody checking in on our table. Our server had another table next to us, who didn't even have waters with their meal. We had to ask the busser for to go boxes and the check?? We ended up getting up and paying at the register because he couldn't even bother to cash us out. With the prices you're paying here owners should very much reevaluate their staff.

Abby L.

Yelp
I came to this place because I have been craving ceviche, and this place did not disappoint ! We had a very light lunch, and ordered leche de Tigre which was 5/5, the flavors were remarkable! It had shrimps, and pulpo in it. It came with some calamari, hominy, and plantains! We also ordered the chicken strips and fried yucca, and it was 3/5 however I loved their yucca. The chicken strips could've been crispier but oh well, we're at a Peruvian restaurant. Overall 4/5 deff would come back to try out the rest of their ceviche ! Great portions too! We also ordered one of their fruit drinks with pineapple and cinnamon and IT WAS SOO GOOD! I deff will be back!

D N.

Yelp
Pollo Saltado had an amazon flavor. Their chili sauce was great. There staff went through a picture menu on a pad. Great time

Laura B.

Yelp
Got together with some Peruvian friends, and let me tell you there is nothing like having friends that know the Peruvian cuisine because our dishes were delicious! We got seated immediately, our server could have been a little friendlier, nice setting inside we ordered right away and the food came I. Shortly after. We order:AlfajoresBeef Hearts, Ceviche De Pescado,

Karizma A.

Yelp
Let me just start by saying that I am so thankful for this restaurant and their menu. I've honestly traveled to Miami just for their Peruvian food, so the fact that I don't have to travel that far for the same amazing tastes is already a win for me. Their ceviche was my ultimate favorite, it was exactly what I wanted and very fresh. The steak was very tender, well seasoned, and filled with so much flavor. I would recommend this place to anyone looking to try Peruvian food or honestly just something new. I love me some Mexican ceviche but if you haven't tried this kind, you're missing out. Definitely worth expanding your palate!

Andrew W.

Yelp
Peruvian food at it's best in Las Vegas, hidden gem!! Went yesterday around 4 pm and it was busy as well as a great dining experience. Mixed cerviche was delicious as well as my entree. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and will be back to taste more of the menu.

Ian M.

Yelp
If you have a craving for some amazing Peruvian food, highly recommend this place. They have multiple dishes to choose from including: rice dishes , seafood, carne and sopas. We really wanted some Lomo Saltado , they had a couple different variations available. We did the steak and shrimp and it was so flavorful. The portions are big and we're able to share one order between us. Service was great and friendly, food didn't take too long and we enjoyed some Peruvian beer while waiting. We also ordered the ceviche mixto, which was delicious and we inhaled before getting a photo. Highly recommend it and if you like spice like us, they will give it to you spicy. Would definitely make a trip back here.

Alejandro G.

Yelp

Maxwell T.

Yelp
My favorite Peruvian restaurant in vegas. They have a large dining area so you can sit down with family and friends. Of course Loma saltado is my go to whenever I eat Peruvian food but this spot just hits right. Their service is very good, always helping me order more inca kola.

Mae D.

Yelp
Not bad. Picked up lomo saltado for lunch and it was good. Had to ask for the sauces so I'm not sure if they usually give those out. Only downside is they couldn't pay for my food over the phone and order ahead. I had to go in, pay, and wait for my food. Seems a little pricey too IMO. Casual ambiance. Plenty of parking, ample waiting space by the front. Same plaza as SNHD.

Michael M.

Yelp
Peruvian virgins! Crazy story. Hungry monster and I were originally looking for a good steak spot to have lunch at. Pulled into the Chevron on Decature and Meadows lane to get some drinks and search the World Wide Yelp and was not feeling anything. Mind you , I was staring at this weird looking Lima sign out in the background, thinking WTH is that? Lima? Limon? Was thinking, oh just another Mexican restaurant. NOPE! When I looked them up on YELP, and did not recognize the majority of the dishes, Lima we went. Was greeted with a warm welcome as soon as we walked in. The feeling we got was a very warm home like sensation. The smell, oh the smell was alluring. Being this was our first time, we asked our server for any recommendations. His first question was, seafood or meet? Seeing as we were out for steak, we told him meat. Right there he went right to the steak dishes. Love him already. Gave us several choices and we opted for 2 steak dishes. What ordered: Churrasco a lo Pobre -Grilled NY steak with plantains, egg, rice on a bed of fries Tallarin Verde -Peruvian style pasta in a pesto sauce with your choice of steak or chicken. Let me just say, I will never eat Mexican again. OK that's a bit drastic. BUT, if Crack was a seasoning Boi. I'm sure love was used seeing as hyped up customers running around thanking the cooks for a great dish would be a wee bit distracting to the owners. Point being, the flavour of the food was delicious! I chose for my steak to be rare and I swear I heard it moo. Kidding kidding. Just know they will do it right. If not, they will correct it till your satisfied. There was a light seasoning on both rice and fries that made the layers of spice come together. The pasta? Imagine taking thin flat spaghetti noodles, smoked in cheese, served with beef strips and a braised sauce. Yes, read that last sentence again. Good lawd my pallet went mad! Seved with the NY steak was a choice of 2 dipping sauces. LET ME TELL YOU!! Whatever the green sauce was, went perfect with everything I ate. But enough with the hype. Come in and try for yourself. Enjoy the food, great service, and a comfortable atmosphere. Don't forget extra green sauce. We will definitely be back for our round of seafood!

Robert S.

Yelp
Let's go with 4.5 stars here. We visited for lunch on Thursday with 4 adults and one small child and it was a good experience. We started with the fried shrimp and Palta Rellena appetizers. They were both fresh and tasty, with the Palta Rellena stealing the show. We then went with their house specialties; Piqueo Lima Limon, Parilla Mixto, and Ceviche 3 Sabores. These combo plates provided a nice mix of their offerings and were excellent. The service started off very, very slow, with it taking about 15 minutes until we were served drinks. From there it got considerably better and the waiter stepped up his game. Overall: A nice place to enjoy Peruvian fare.

Itza E.

Yelp
Food is delicious. Portions are pretty huge. The service was good the first time we went, and then it was great the second time. It can get pretty loud in there with music and chatter. They have TVs with no sound, though. Overall, we will definitely be going again. One recommendation: sauces. They could've been better. I've gone to other Peruvian restaurants, and their sauces are scrumptious.

Claudia E.

Yelp
Jalea amazing! Huge portion for two. Loved finding the octopus and the small pieces of fish. Seasoning was spot on. The onion salsa criolla was tasty. The piqueo Lima limon was even better. The saffron seafood rice was creamy, flavorful and the tender seafood melted in your mouth. The ceviche was seasoned well and the spice level just as I requested. The choros a la Chalaca was a great bite. Worth the long wait.

NoOne O.

Yelp
Fantastic place!!! Great food! Great service. Friendliest people, especially if you speak Spanish! But everyone speaks English and they are awesome!!! Bring an appetite!!!!

Laura A.

Yelp
Food is great, I keep coming back for the food but service is absolutely slow. At least servers are friendlier now.

Casey-Jack K.

Yelp
Great food! Doesn't look like a lot but it's a full on meal. I left stuffed. Quite busy but the waitstaff was nice. Thanks for a great lunch! ¡Buena comida! No parece mucho, pero es una comida completa. Salí relleno. Bastante ocupado pero los camareros eran agradables. Gracias por un gran almuerzo!

Phi N.

Yelp
Started our meal with the ceviche trio. Classic style ceviche is always my favorite, but all of them were excellent. Moved on to the lomo saltado next-- super delicious. A little more of the lomo sauce would have been nice to mix into the rice, but the aji verde did the trick (usually I like both of them mixed into the rice). Portions are large, enough to split between 2 people.

Lourdes S.

Yelp
Siempre me ha gustado la comida Peruana pero este restaurante ha bajado mucho la calidad de su comida . Habrán cambiado de cocinero ‍ ?

Rivera J.

Yelp
Amazing Peruvian food! EVERYTHING on the menu is Fantastic! Starting with the ceviche, parrillada, and the chairs wow! Highly recommend!!

Mei B.

Yelp
This is another of my favorite ! It's usually busy and food service tend to be slow but food is very tasty it's worth waiting !

Jose B.

Yelp
Good Peruvian food . nice place to visit when you in vegas the ceviche carretillero must try and tiradito best !

Kesha D.

Yelp
Food is authentic. Pisco Sour has the perfect flavor & bite. Laid back service. Local ambiance.

Ana F.

Yelp
Waited an hour no updates on our order. SERVICE WAS HORRIBLE!! No updates to at least let us know if it would be a while. There was a big party that they were doing a good job on but we were ignored. We ended walking out.

Genesis F.

Yelp
I've been coming here for about 8 years because the food is THAT good. I've come in alone and brought many friends. However, the service has been hit or miss the last few years. I can handle my water not being filled during my visit but the last straw was being rushed out within 15 minutes of being seated. The server made my mom and I feel very unwelcome. He was upset that we were waiting on one more person in our party despite having ordered all entrees and appetizers he told us several times he needed to clear our table in anticipation of the afternoon rush. When my husband arrived our food wasn't even out yet. If we were going to get rushed out for other people (who never arrived the restaurant was maybe 10 percent full) I would have asked them to wait to seat us. He made us feel very uncomfortable. It's a shame we won't be returning after many years of being loyal and frequent customers.

Pamela R.

Yelp
Back again at my favorite Peruvian lunch spot, Lima Limon located in the SNHD parking area near Planet Fitness. As I've pointed out in a previous review, unless you're in no rush, be sure to call ahead with your lunch order. The wait seems to be 30-45 minutes every time I've ordered! This food is worth the extra planning and potential wait. I always order the Pescado al la Plancha- filet of white fish sautéed to a golden, crispy layer on both sides and a flaky, moist center, along with white rice, sweet potatoes and topping of citrus marinaded sliced red onions! Tip-If you like heat be sure to ask for the green or red sauce. Consistency delicious and fresh, worth the wait for sure! Enjoy.

Mel L.

Yelp
My 2 stars is mostly based on the service I received on my last visit. Depending on the time of day, make sure you do not show up hungry. Have some good conversation points ready, or bring a good book and let your appetite build as you sit and wait for your meal because it may be a while. I unfortunately do not find the staff friendly nor attentive. The food on the other hand is good . It's the only reason I've returned 3 times so far. If management can fix its service, and offer a paying patron the full restaurant experience, I would give this place 4 stars.

Luis M.

Yelp
We asked for two tacu tacus and our order took almost 2 hours (not exaggerating). The waiter never checked with us or gave us an update on our food, we had to constantly remind them of our food. This was on Sunday 7/16 and we were not the only table with a delayed order.

Dayli H.

Yelp
Amazing food and service, yo no vivo en Las Vegas pero alguien me lo recomendó y fui la mejor comida peruana un ambiente único y un súper servicio

Eva M.

Yelp
Best Peruvian restaurant in town. Yes the wait is long & service is slow almost always but if you're looking for peruvian food you're not going to find yummier anywhere else period. So just plan to be there 2-3hrs minimum :) and enjoy.

Louie A.

Yelp
This place was very delicious the fried yuca was delicious with the sauce and the main dises we ordered were hell of good. Mar y terra, Arroz Chaufa de Mariscos and Lomo Saltado id most definitely be back when im in that area.

Liliana C.

Yelp
I would never recommended this place. They took close to one hour to serve our food and they "forgot" to make one of the orders. The waitress did not even notice we were missing a plate. Food favor was bland, nothing extraordinary. When we told the waitress, this was not a great service, she proceeded to tell us to complain with the owner who was there. We told the owner what happened and that we were disappointed on such a bad service, she look at us and with a sarcastic condescending tone said "Thank you". This owner obviously does not know how to manage a place or be an owner of a business. She didn't even care to ask us why we felt that way. I will never recommend this place or return back.
