I’ve never been here before, but it’s right down the street from where I’m staying. I usually go to Farley’s a couple of blocks away, but I decided to give this place a try since it’s a local neighborhood spot.
It was about 12:45 p.m. when I went in—fairly quiet with just a few customers. The space is clean and very simplistic, with no indoor seating. There are only a few benches outside, so if it’s raining, you won’t have a place to sit.
I ordered an iced Americano with a splash of milk, and they offered honey or sugar cane as sweeteners (I usually bring my own Stevia). The drink came in what looked like a medium size, comparable to national coffee chains, and cost a little over six dollars—which isn’t bad for the area.
The flavor was excellent: smooth, not burnt, and nicely balanced. It’s a great place to stop for a quick espresso or afternoon coffee. Parking is fairly easy in this neighborhood—just keep an eye on the signs, since there’s a two-hour limit on weekdays. On Saturdays, parking is free.
Overall, Linea Coffee Roasting has good vibes, solid coffee, and a convenient location surrounded by other small shops and restaurants. Definitely worth a visit if you’re nearby.
