Senorita bread was soft, sweet, toasty outside with a layer of caramelized sugar on one side. They also have good empanada with buttery flaky crust. Siopao was freshly made. Reasonable priced yummy food. Nice staff. Not a fancy place but they make up for service and food.

They over charged me 💲1️⃣2️⃣4️⃣ for a $12 purchase. I came in and waited nearly 10 minutes to get service with 3 employees standing there. They couldn't figure out how to void a simple transaction. I asked them to refund me in cash so that i didn't have to wait for the 5-10 business days for the debit, but they refused. Then they asked for my card again to pay for the $12 order, no consideration whatsoever. Took 40 minutes of my time and overcharged my card. What an awful experience.

We have a Starbread in San Diego that opened recently but it’s not the same! I always find myself gravitating to this location and buy a few dozen to bring back with me to San Diego. These little guys are so addicting and dangerous. This location makes the best out of all. Has the perfect buttery custard sweetness softness. Starbread is not their main item. They also sell made to order Filipino food which other locations may not. Parking in this plaza is getting worse due to the bowling alley next door ever since an adjacent bowling alley closed down, everyone flops here.

Highly recommend their seniorita bread! Best tasting bread I’ve ever eaten. Super soft and buttery with a hint of sweetness. There is always a line for a reason. The line goes quickly though. Whenever I visit Starbread, I always go to Lingnam (restaurant next to Star bread) to get food as well. It doesn’t serve the best Filipino food but it is really good for the price. They also now sell Krispy Crunchy chicken, which makes it even better.

This is my go to breakfast place when I crave for Filipino silog. I prefer this over Goldilocks. The combo silog is really worth it because you just add a couple more bucks & you have two meats. It is rare for me to get just one kind of silog here but also keep in mind, there are some meats that cannot be done with combo silog. The tokwa’t baboy is so delicious! I always get extra onions & sauce on the side so the soy sauce will not be soaked completely on the tofu!

Came early in the morning on a weekday. Nobody in line. Ordered 50 pieces of Starbread. It took about 10 minutes to cook. Delicious!

This place is incredible!! The OG starbread and authentic Filipino food. The food is delicious and the restaurant is family run. We always get catering done from them for our family parties (see photos). Must order items: -The pork belly lechon is a must if ordering catering. It has so much flavor and has the perfect crunchy skin and great meat to fat ratio -fried fish and veggies—it is a flavor bomb -chicken inasal -lengua is so tender and creamy

I used to come here regularly to buy BBQ beef with rice, due to enjoying the quality of the food at this relatively small business. However one random day I showed up with a friend to enjoy a meal; we ordered our food, paid up front as is required at this location to be served and waited for our order to come out. We got our food, ate inside; finished eating and got up cleaning up our mess. As we were thanking the staff for our meal and getting ready to leave, one of the women behind the counter told us openly in front of others eating in the restaurant that "uh excuse me, you still have to pay for your meal". We obviously got caught off guard and told them "we paid you cash up front when we ordered to the girl working the register". The woman in response said "oh I didn't see you pay anyone, so you can't leave until you make the payment". At which point my friend and I got obviously upset with this manner of behavior and demanded the girl working the register come out front to confirm we paid. After a bit of bickering, the girl did finally come out and confirmed we paid in cash before getting our food. The woman then awkwardly looked at her in a demeaning manner and simply said "oh okay then, you've paid thank you" dismissing us to leave. We openly asked if this way because we were the only non-Asian patrons in the restaurant eating, to which the woman awkwardly panicked saying "oh no no, it's nothing like that". Worst service ever, completely unprofessional; race oriented favoritism. I completely understand people make mistakes and should be verified with all staff if something wasn't paid for BEFORE approaching asking such questions; secondly you should approach in a quiet manner, not publicly humiliating anyone. Don't eat here, plain and simple.
