The 15 Best Filipino Restaurants In SF - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"This spot pulls double duty as a restaurant and a bakery, and both are worth a visit. The bakery serves some of the best Filipino-style pastries—don’t leave without grabbing the cloud-soft starbread and a pork or chicken empanada with a snappy shell. At the restaurant, expect the classics like textbook-standard lumpia and a $20 all-you-can-eat breakfast buffet with scrambled eggs, garlic sausage, adobo, and rice. There’s usually a line, so if you're short on time, head to the bakery instead and fill up on whatever’s left in the display case." - gabi moskowitz, julia chen 1, patrick wong

The 17 Best Restaurants In Daly City - San Francisco - The Infatuation

"This place has two sides: a restaurant and a bakery, and it serves some of the best Filipino-style pastries in the area. The star bread—soft, sweet, and buttery—is a must-try, and the pork and chicken empanadas are both a good pick if you’re looking for something savory and quick. For the fastest service, head straight to the bakery counter, but if you plan on dining in, be prepared to wait a bit as the restaurant side can get busy." - gabi moskowitz, patrick wong

I’ve been coming here since 1992 when they were at the previous location. I’ve only ever gotten one thing. The fried chicken silog 🥲 It is perfection. One of the last good deals in the Bay at $12.99 plus tax which means less than $15. Shout out to the classics. They are fading quietly. But they are still around if you are really cloth like that.

Google
The cassava is very dry and old. Not fresh. Why did I pay the correct price for old dry and hard food? Not returning to this place. Service is OK. Photos below are before and after re-steam. 😡

Google
Senorita bread was soft, sweet, toasty outside with a layer of caramelized sugar on one side. They also have good empanada with buttery flaky crust. Siopao was freshly made. Reasonable priced yummy food. Nice staff. Not a fancy place but they make up for service and food.

Google
We have a Starbread in San Diego that opened recently but it’s not the same! I always find myself gravitating to this location and buy a few dozen to bring back with me to San Diego. These little guys are so addicting and dangerous. This location makes the best out of all. Has the perfect buttery custard sweetness softness. Starbread is not their main item. They also sell made to order Filipino food which other locations may not. Parking in this plaza is getting worse due to the bowling alley next door ever since an adjacent bowling alley closed down, everyone flops here.

Google
Came early in the morning on a weekday. Nobody in line. Ordered 50 pieces of Starbread. It took about 10 minutes to cook. Delicious! *UPDATE - Be careful when ordering large amounts. We were shorted 1 starbread each time. Last time we ordered 40 & 50 pieces. So 1 🌟 for service.

Google
Highly recommend their seniorita bread! Best tasting bread I’ve ever eaten. Super soft and buttery with a hint of sweetness. There is always a line for a reason. The line goes quickly though. Whenever I visit Starbread, I always go to Lingnam (restaurant next to Star bread) to get food as well. It doesn’t serve the best Filipino food but it is really good for the price. They also now sell Krispy Crunchy chicken, which makes it even better.

Google
This place is incredible!! The OG starbread and authentic Filipino food. The food is delicious and the restaurant is family run. We always get catering done from them for our family parties (see photos). Must order items: -The pork belly lechon is a must if ordering catering. It has so much flavor and has the perfect crunchy skin and great meat to fat ratio -fried fish and veggies—it is a flavor bomb -chicken inasal -lengua is so tender and creamy

Google
This is my go to breakfast place when I crave for Filipino silog. I prefer this over Goldilocks. The combo silog is really worth it because you just add a couple more bucks & you have two meats. It is rare for me to get just one kind of silog here but also keep in mind, there are some meats that cannot be done with combo silog. The tokwa’t baboy is so delicious! I always get extra onions & sauce on the side so the soy sauce will not be soaked completely on the tofu!

Yelp
Came for a late lunch. Most of the small tables were full. Large tables were empty but place was clean. Waitress came out fast, friendly and food came out hot and tasty. Enjoyed! My orders were delivered to my table with a greeting and big smile. Yummy! Adobo was so tender and the sauce was so good with the garlic rice and yoke of the fried egg. Together was perfect. Crispy pata-fried pork leg, was tender inside and perfectly crunchy skin on the outside. Even the little bit of fat inside was creamy rich when you pop it in your mouth. Oh so good!

Yelp
The filipina bakery woman with red hair was super helpful for me today. Ordered 40 piece star bread and waited only 7 minutes. I then ordered from the restaurant and they took over 30 minutes for a Lechon kawali and 10 piece siomai. The server didn't follow up on me sitting there all alone. The red head woman who helped me from the bakery noticed I was still at the restaurant and investigated why my order was taking so long. She asked me my name and confirmed it was sitting there there whole time and the other servers didn't follow up. Thank you to the nice young filipina with red hair. Sorry im bad with names too!

Yelp
It's an old place for sure. Maybe a homey feel to some but not to me. The floor felt unclean and sticky. Service was okay - quick with no smile, no warmth. Food was okay, too. Mami: 8/10 Pancit: 5/10 Sisig: 5/10. It was an adobo vs a true sisig on a sizzling plate. Needless to say, we won't be back. Although, the starbread is really good... and that's it.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite spots in the San Francisco Bay Area with comfort food. The Starbread / senorita bread is heavenly. They always make them hot and fresh to order. And the prices are super cheap for the area. They have other baked things but stick to the Starbread, you won't regret it. The parking is spotty but worth the time, the service here is fast and friendly. It's literally a small counter spot so don't plan of eating here but to go. This place can get busy but they are fast with their orders. Chill spot, definitely recommend. A must try unique food for this area.

Yelp
Used to come to Ling Nam's old location but was pleasantly surprised to see it on King! Recommend the Sisig and Adobo. Omg so good. Lechon kawali was on the dry side. Halo halo did not disappoint! Service was okay. Loved the photos on the wall that painted a picture of where the owners are from.

Yelp
Omg! The señorita bread was amazing! Fresh, baked perfectly and the wonderful sweetness! Wished we had this bakery at home! The lady was very welcoming and nice. The bakery shop is a little small, but they make their pastries fresh and is connected to another shop and restaurant as well. When we visit SF again, we'll definitely try out the restaurant. Definitely recommend this bakery!

Yelp
Still going for seniorita breads! And now, the occasional silog! Love getting combo silog - Longanisa and Sisig! Comes with garlic rice, vinegar for longanisa, and of course egg. It's delicious! The Sisig is pretty bomb and comes in a great shareable portion. Not spicy but super flavorful. I also like getting the sago't gulaman! Reminds me of my childhood. I think it's more of a dessert but I order it as my main drink lol! Delicious spot and parking is decent since it's in a plaza.

Yelp
Use to love going to Ling Nam but specifically the OLDER locations. Food here is still good but it doesn't hit the same as the previous location in Daly City that closed down. I gave this place two stars due to the poor and rude service. We came in during their buffet hours snd let them know we were there for sit down and ordering in and we waited about 20 minutes before we went to the front desk to tell them we were ready to order, just for them to tell us, "Oh I forgot to take your orders you guys sat too much in the back" mind you they pointed us that direction to be away from the buffet section. We ignored that but even while receiving food, they just put down the food on the table and left it without actually giving it to the one that ordered the dish. It was very poor service comparing to other places, comparing to the other Ling Nam's. Also, we asked for to-go boxes and the lady said it would be 0.50¢, but when she finally gave me the boxes she told me that it was okay to NOT give it. It was very random, I guess I saved cents but it was my first time hearing to-go boxes costing anything. I did appreciate one of the workers, but considering there were many of them, it says a lot. I can understand people not enjoying work, but it's a different story putting that on your customers.

Yelp
I love to support my local businesses and I love to support my Filipino people. This does not discourage me to continue to do so in anyway. Terrible service is far from the description of my experience at their restaurant. Lack of better judgement best describes it. This review is specifically for the lady in the front of the restaurant on Christmas Day. Who needs to be trained in accountability, and integrity. Please take this review seriously. I have been supporting their bakery for years as a Bay Area native. They are consistent with giving the right amount you order, the timing, and quality of service and food. It was a night and day difference in their restaurant staff. I had seen online they were selling lechon. Decided to give them a go since I was visiting family for the holidays. I called on Christmas Eve morning and paid with credit card over the phone. It took 5 times for the person over the phone to finally enter it in correctly. But I was happy I had food to bring for family festivities. I come in the following morning to pick up the full sized lechon. The restaurant was empty at the time. I check in with the lady at the register and we go over to the table of lechon. My name is on a box and she takes the receipt that was on it and says you got the full right? And hands it to me. The receipt says FULL marked with a big black sharpie. She takes the receipt and puts it in her stack of receipts. I look at her confused because it was only one box and had doubts it was the full rack. But I had never been there before and all the boxes were the same size. I trusted she gave me the right one. I get home and still can't get it off my mind how weird it was and how it felt like half only. I asked my boy friend if it felt like 10 pounds. He said not even close. So we drove back 45 minutes and asked her, if it was the full rack. She questions me like she had never seen me in her life. She was in her 30s. Not young enough to make a careless mistake. Only old enough to make a deliberate one. She must have acted like her memory was bad because it was a restaurant filled with people eating and she didn't want to appear like it was her fault. Or maybe she had made the same deliberate mistake before and counted on people not speaking up for what they paid for. I would have been less mad if she apologized for her mistake and took accountability but she continued to act like she had never seen me. Or that it might have been someone else. I was wearing a big ridiculous black fur jacket and I replied, there's no way anyone can forget this jacket. She then proceeded to blame me and ask if I had the receipt. I had to remind her that she took it and put it where all the receipts were. We walked over to the register while she kept up her act of not knowing anything. She found it and saw my receipt that said full on it and asked if I wanted a new roast. She played oblivious to the very end still without apology. I took her on her offer of a fresh one and FINALLY receive the full 2 boxes that I paid for and thanked her. Understandably I was angry that she intentionally gave me the half portion, she denied during the entire conversation that it wasnt her, that she didn't remember, and then at the end not apologize. If you ever decide to give their restaurant a try, I would be careful if you see this lady. Her whole act had a lack of competence and lack of humility which led me to lose respect for her. I am happy to have received what I paid for but it was only after going through unnecessary hassle. It leads me to believe that she was taking patrons hard earned money, and had done this before. It was handled very poorly and left a bad Christmas memory.

Yelp
The Starbread is sooooo good. Once you start, you can't stop eating these. Why are they so good?!? Some times the most simple things in life are just the best. And the Starbread here is just simply good. Order a box and eat a few right away while they're hot. Eat some more in the car while driving home. Eat some more when you get home. And eat some more the next morning. Pro tip: Always buy more than you want, because you're future self will appreciate it.

Yelp
Food was basic. It's like I went to someone's house for brunch. Would not agree that it was worth $20. They're pretty organized about getting people seated. Wait isn't long at all. Parking isn't horrible. Depending on the time you go or if there's bowling. Cashier was pretty friendly.

Yelp
New fancy look with hot and fresh Starbread. It's so yummy. They also have new items like fresh Lumpia and a Sunday buffet for only $19.95 from 8am to 2pm. Definitely will give it a try next time. :)

Yelp
A Bay Area staple and home of the legendary starbread (or senorita bread). They've changed around their restaurant from when I've last come, separating the much smaller bakery at front and the larger savory (restaurant) in the rear. If you're doing takeout, I'd highly recommend ordering from the restaurant first, then the bakery, as the bakery items are almost instantaneous while the restaurant takes about 20-30min to cook the food, especially if you're ordering lots of food. This means it can take as long as an hour wait if there's a long line. And since the restaurant's right across the street from Classic Bowl, parking can be a huge problem even with the size of the parking lot. Plan accordingly. I usually order lumpias and a pork plate from the restaurant, and starbread from the bakery. Starbread is buttery and sweet, and best eaten fresh when it's hot. However, it doesn't last very long and doesn't microwave well, so take care in how much you order although it's always treasured in bulk if you're going to a large gathering. Their lumpia is quite good too, and comes with sweet dipping sauce. If you're have cash, you can also save about 5% of your bill over credit. Everything's very affordable.

Yelp
It's been a while since I visited Ling Nam, and since I was in Daly City, I decided to stop by. The bakeshop is a must-visit! The star bread is the BEST! I also bought chicharrón, which was delicious. Any food that reminds me of the Philippines is top-tier. Although the bakeshop is small, it's definitely worth visiting for delicious Filipino snacks and treats. On the downside, the restaurant next door is just average for Filipino food. My family and I ordered the shumai, but it was dry. We also tried the beef pares mami and siopao. One item you definitely must try is the halo-halo. Even though it was a cold day, I couldn't resist having a halo-halo. There aren't many places near me that offer it anymore. The service at Ling Nam is amazing. The owner is super nice and loves to chat with everyone. I really appreciate a restaurant that treats you like family.

Yelp
First time at Ling Nam Starbread, and was surprised to see that this place makes Señorita Bread to order! Even at 8:40ish in the evening (when they close at 9pm), they were still happily taking orders from customers who were ordering 10pcs, 20pcs, 40pcs etc of Señorita Breads! I've only had the Señorita Bread from the Starbread in Union City, but at that location, they aren't making them fresh to order, they are premade and they just give you how many you order. But having them freshly made to order here definitely hits different! They are so fresh and tasty when they come out piping hot. They charge a service fee of 3.75% when using credit card, so bring cash to avoid paying the service fee. Overall, good place to stop by if you are craving some freshly made señorita bread!

Suzan P.

Yelp
I ordered the combo and it had pork meat that was so badly burnt it was not edible, unless you enjoy eating charcoal on the bone. How they could serve that to anyone is beyond me!! it was done through Door Dash so food could not be returned. Obviously the cook wasn't paying attention that it was on the grill too long, burnt it to a crisp and STILL sent it out! I want him or her to eat it, if you don't care about how badly cooked food is for your customers you should eat it yourself! Will never order anything from this restaurant again! Terrible!
google avatar

Tina R.

Yelp
The senorita bread here is the best! They are so addicting and best when warm. Once you eat one, you can't stop having more. I also tried their beef empanada for the first time. My friend and I liked it. It was soooo good!
google avatar

Elaine B.

Yelp
Starbread is soooo good! So addicting. About the restaurant Ling Nam i ordered tocilog and the tocino is sour and it shouldn't be. Tocino should be made a little sweet. I complained and the server just yelled at the cook saying the tocino is sour that's it. Ayayay
google avatar

Arron P.

Yelp
Came here craving Filipino food. The service was straightforward. The bangus and tocino were good. The tapa is okay but there are probably better places to order this. The garlic rice was as expected. The ambiance is casual in the dining area. They take a good amount of togo orders. They is a convenience fee for using credit card so you save a little to pay cash. Would recommend and return to try more.
google avatar

Maria M.

Yelp
You can come here to get any Filipino dish and dessert you are craving for. You have the sit down restaurant serving your silogs, favorites like lechon kawali, crispy pata, congee, chicken inasal, sisig, kare kare, pan it you name it they have it. You come in and are greeted with the warm Filipino hospitality. Eating here is just like home. Next door is Starbread Bakery where everyone comes for the senorita bread, these sweet, soft, buttery sweet pillows of goodness. They also sell leche flan, suman, empanadas, ice cream in Filipino flavors like Ube, langka amd avocado. I always come for one thing but leave with a bunch of treats to share with friends and coworkers! One stop shop for all things Filipino to satisfy your heart's desire! 4 stars!
google avatar

Shay M.

Yelp
I've been hearing about star bread for ages now and I finally had the chance to try it cause i was in the area after going to pacifica and it is so delicious. So pillowy soft and sweet and comes out piping hot. I think I inhaled half the box immediately. it is that good and service is fast and lots of parking !
google avatar

Alyssa U.

Yelp
Was seriously craving Filipino food and found Ling Nam on Yelp -- so glad I gave it a try! Everything I ordered tasted like home. The flavors were authentic, comforting, and just what I needed. It's hard to find places that get it right, but this spot really delivered. Will definitely be back when the cravings hit again.
google avatar

Jill M.

Yelp
4.8 stars! This place is as nostalgic as you can get (although they relocated). The place still looks the same. Exactly what I expect of a "carinderia" in the Philippines. They have fair prices and a great selection of items. Definitely get their silogs. The sago't gulaman and halo halo were really good! Cant beat the crispy pata silog. The Tita that was serving us was very nice and took good care of us. The Starbread is right next door! Cant beat the best, buttery, yeasty, softest senorita bread! Definitely order yourself a box!
google avatar

Jimmy R.

Yelp
Basic restaurant, clean eating area and nominal service. Does not leave your clothes smelling like your meal, great! Food was very good if not a bit pricey. Not unreasonable but I guess everything is more expensive now. Only tried the smoked milkfish with garlic fried rice and egg, but it was very good. I'll be coming back for more. It's better than the other local Filipino restaurants.
google avatar

Tommy L.

Yelp
I recently stopped by Lingnam Starbread in Daly City for a to-go order, of course to get some Starbread. I ordered 20 pieces for $12, along with two pork empanadas and two beef empanadas. The Starbread was incredibly addicting--still fresh and warm when I got it. I ended up breaking my diet and ate four in one sitting! On the other hand, the pork empanada was disappointing, tasting like it had been cooked in old oil. The beef empanadas were better but nothing remarkable. I would definitely come back for the Starbread alone, but I'd skip the empanadas next time. Parking is available in the lot, though it can get busy.
google avatar

Shandy T.

Yelp
This place is amazing!! It was my first time here and trying Starbread and their service was incredible fast (especially for how busy they are). It is pretty cramped and indoors is mainly for ordering and picking up. There are a few seats outside and the restaurant next door too. Would definitely recommend and come back soon!
google avatar

Renée M.

Yelp
Fast service, delicious pillowy hot & slightly sweetened Filipino bread that is addictive & crave-worthy!! Who doesn't love hot, fresh bread!! :-) New Filipino dessert offerings I haven't seen before. Sit-down restaurant next door too.
google avatar

Catherine N.

Yelp
Star bread is pretty much the Filipino equivalent of Hot and Ready donuts from a certain chain. It was described to me as "white bread rolled in sugar and butter" and I would agree that these pillowy clouds of bread taste exactly like that in the best way possible. When you order, they serve you molten hot breads that are so addictive - we ate like 10 of them just in the car. Be sure to order more than you think you want, because these are super easy to eat. Also, the prices are just unbeatable! The turon wasn't really for me - it was an interesting mix of jackfruit, banana, and deeply caramelized sugar. I also tried some of the sinigang and adobe, but I'm just generally not a huge fan of Filipino food. The soup was too acidic for me and the adobe too oily - but I've heard it's very authentic from Filipino colleagues. I've already come back multiple times to get these breads for potlucks and will 100% be back for star bread soon.
google avatar

Netia B.

Yelp
Starbread, starbread, starbread (I say three times hoping some of these delicious sweet and buttery pillows appears in my room as I type this). For $6 you get 10 pieces, but don't cheat yourself, get the 30 pieces for less than $20 bc when I say you will DEVOUR this treat, I mean it. Punching the air bc I live in SoCal and didn't buy more that the 10 piece before hopping on a plane back home : ( The service was quick and my bread was made fresh in 15 minutes (they would be closing 5 minutes later). I also bought the chicken empanada but it's not pictured here bc I ate first, not the camera : / Idk what dough they use, but the only way I can describe the flavor is it's reminiscent of brioche bread without the eggy flavor. It's so ooey gooey I wish they'd open up a SoCal location
google avatar

Lauren L.

Yelp
Was nearby and decided to stop in to grab some star bread. We got 20 pieces for $12 and waited a little to get it. It came out fresh and was really hot. It tasted so delicious and buttery, slightly sweet. I decided to bring them to a party and they were a hit! Love these breads and how cheap they are. Highly recommend!
google avatar

Arnold W.

Yelp
Omg! This starbread is like crack. So addictive, especially when hot and fresh. It's sweet and salty, soft, and I can't just eat one.
google avatar

Jolens V.

Yelp
The bread is so yummy , specially when hot. I noticed that they are a bit smaller now. The new place is much better.. the service is much more efficient. Having its separate place is less chaotic specially when there is a long line.

Yelp
Went for Breakfast Food - 5/5. Siomais were huge and packed with meat. The filling is dense, creating a soft and savory bite. It was seasoned well on its own, but also paired well with any sauce of your choice. Inihaw na baboy had wonderful grill marks, great bouncy bite, and a strong sweet & salty flavor that complimented the rich pork belly. Sinangag was fluffy and had a delicious garlic aroma with minimal oil. The light flavors of the garlic rice made it a perfect pairing for the pork. Eggs were cooked into a nice over medium. Service - 4/5. Friendly and quick service. Water and condiments are self-serve. Value - 5/5. Siomais were delicious and hefty for a very reasonable $3 for two pieces. Most silogs are in the low to mid $10s price range, and are served with big protein portions. Great food at great prices; perfect for Filipino breakfast! Parking - Mall Lot (Free)

Yelp
Can't really go wrong with the senorita bread at Starbread. Locations in different parts of Bay Area. The senirita bread are like small pillows of fluffy sugar and buttery goodness. Made to order and they come out hot. They have assortment of other foods. Parking lot parking
google avatar

Yelp
Sunday buffet here is totally comfort food from the Philippine. The service is quick, friendly, and clean buffet too. For 20 bucks you can eat all you can of your favorite Filipino favorite. MASARAP!!!!!!!!!
google avatar

Tina L.

Yelp
Came here for Starbread. Love that they are still around. Guy at the counter was really helpful. I'm so happy that they are open late into the evenings. I am from SF and to me, I thought that the senorita bread always tasted the same but my hubby and his family is from the east bay and he said it tasted different from the other starbread location that he used to go to. I don't know to me bread is bread and bread is life. These senorita bread were hot fresh and fluffy oozing with that sugary goodness. The leche flan is creamy and sweet as well hits the spot. Place is clean and well kept. Will be coming back in the future to try out all their treats and baked goods.
google avatar

Yelp
This is the best star bread location ever!! I've been to the Concord, Vallejo, Fairfield, and Union City location and they all do not compare. Every time I come here the bread is always nice and warm. I love the freshness of the bread and how it's perfectly baked each time 5/5. The location is in a busy plaza and the store itself it very tiny. They have a lot of other things that they sell but overall it's always a good experience here.
google avatar

Monica C.

Yelp
I love the seniorita bread from Ling Nam Starbread. It is similar to the plain buttered buns from the Chinese bakeries, except this one is sweeter. Pretty decent price for delicious bread. Service is quick but if you go on a busy morning, it can take quite a while so order the bulk ones ahead of time. No dining in, mainly a pick up spot. Pretty small inside so it is quiet. Plenty of parking inside the plaza as it is located at the corner of the King plaza. Note: My usual order is 20 for $12 which is plenty for 3-4 people
google avatar

Louise P.

Yelp
We always come here when we're in the South SF area. My kids like their sisig rice plate. They just recently added fresh Lumpia to their menu which my daughter enjoyed. I like that the senorita bakery was just next door. Service sometimes can be lacking, depending on who you get.
google avatar

Fiona T.

Yelp
Nothing beats a warm fresh starbread. Everytime I get a box, I eat 3 pieces without blinking an eye.

Yelp
This is an update. Went there today for 40 pieces of the senorita bread. Came back home and counted them. We ended up getting shorted 1. Paid for 40 and ended up with 39. This has happened before too. ***Better count your senorita breads before you leave.** Next time, I will order fewer so I don't get shorted.

Yelp
Always have to stop by for senorita bread at Ling Nam when around SF. And always end up eating half of the box on the drive home. Warm, soft inside, toasty outside, sweet and buttery. It's like dinner roll meets croissant meets hawaiian bread. Best senorita bread in the Bay Area. Also had their pork empanada, pork siopao and Binondo Fresh Lumpia. Siopao had good bread meat ratio. Siopao is the Filipino style Bun Bao. Sweet braised meat filling inside the white soft slightly sweet steamed bun. The empanada was really good. It's a handheld meat pie. The bread was filled with ground pork, potatoes and some aromatics. The pie crust was flaky with very noticeable buttery flavor. Good price at $3. The Binondo Fresh Lumpia was garlicky. I saw the lady layered half a teaspoon of garlic on the mixture of veggies and lettuce before wrapping it in the Filipino style egg roll wrapper. The crushed peanuts added some crunch. Came with the sweet soy sauce jelly that you can use as a dip or spread on top. Not bad for $5.50. They have other Filipino food also. Nice friendly staff. Bright dining area. It's a basically a Filipino style diner type restaurant. Nothing fancy but good food for a reasonable price. There's also a Krispy Krunchy Chicken counter inside the restaurant.

Yelp
This was the last place I stopped while visiting the San Fran area before heading back home. My brother-in-law was raving about the "star bread," where you can get 20 little bread rolls for less than $20. Now i'm not much of a bread eater but I will enjoy an occasional roll...let me tell you, if I could devour the whole box -- I would! The bread is served hot and so soft it almost melts into your mouth. They are the perfect mini size and filled with the sweetest most amazing butter. I seriously wanted to take some on the plane with me! That's how good they were!

Yelp
Star bread!!! Nuff said! The combination of buttery, salty and sweet just works so well in those little rolls! Definitely need to do some cardio afterwards though.

Yelp
Food was amazing. Crispy pasta and Mickey bihon are the best. Thank you for the recommendation.

Yelp
I ordered pancit Bihon and lumpia. Lumpia was good but I was under the impression that the pancit wouldn't have any meat as none were listed on any menus. Luckily I don't have any allergies, but I don't eat seafood and found shrimp in my dish. I wish this would have been listed so I could have either asked for it not to be included or order something else.

Yelp
My Filipino friend got me the starbread, and I couldn't stop eating them even when they got cold- it will taste just as good if you warm it up in a quick microwave, a toaster oven, or a air fryer. My next bakery order for a party!!!

Yelp
Whenever we're in San Francisco, we love stopping by Ling Nam. It's one of our favorite spots for authentic Filipino comfort food. On our recent visit, we ordered the Pork Silog and Tapsilog--both were flavorful, satisfying, and brought back the taste of home.
