"Run by chef Gaël Ruscart, this fine establishment in the heart of the city revolves around inventive and masterful cooking. Fish and seafood ingredients are elevated in refined dishes: langoustines, flaked spider crab, smoked haddock and lime cream; scallops, parsnip mousseline with candied lemon, langoustine cream. Harmonious flavours meet technical prowess in this welcoming and elegant setting." - Michelin Inspector
Very nice place. Friendly, helpful staff. Excellent breakfast, the breakfast show by Madame was most entertaining. Not cheap, but good. Restaurant is quite posh - not suitable for cyclists who want to trough! Good safe bike storage.
Good place from which to tour Pointe du Raz peninsular.

Two of us had lunch. There is a set menu with a choice of two dishes per course, with a glass of wine with the two first courses. The price is very reasonable. Well worth it. We would definitely return. Service very good but relaxed. Quality of the food outstanding. Fresh, well cooked, tasty. Excellent value for money.

A restaurant where the chef actually comes to greet the guests - not something done in many restaurants we’ve been to during our France trip.
Very interesting food combinations, and very good service. We appreciated that we were accepted for dinner at a late hour, and even if we had not made a reservation.

I stayed two nights in the hotel and both evenings had a dinner in the restaurant. The food was delicious! The menu is very creative and elaborate. I tried shrimps and tuna for starter and fish for the main. All dishes were excellent. The staff is very friendly. The restaurant is really high quality and is definitely worth a visit.

We came in at 23:30 and the reception was ever so fiendly. The young lady showed us our room : nice, clean and a good bathroom. The breakfast was super. The chef lead us through the buffet who was really superb. Various kinds of bread, ham, cheese, local cooking an fruits. The lunch was very tastefull : codd in Brettanic way. SUPER !!

We should have checked the website more carefully as we chose this hotel for the reputation of its restaurant. We planned half-board so we were disappointed to arrive for our three nights and find that the restaurant was closed for the first two nights. We were given a chit to an affiliated restaurant on the harbour called Quay 29 which was not at all what we wanted - a tapas-style place. I'm sure it was fine but we had been expecting three evenings of traditional French food. So the following evening we ate at a local creperie which was excellent and then - finally - at the hotel restaurant on our final night. Food was excellent and just what we'd hoped so do check! Apart from that, the hotel is comfortable (although the usual French small double bed) and nicely done. Not a lot to Douarnenez but plenty to see in the surrounding countryside and I enjoyed the ordinary vibe of a working town.

This is a well run, clean, very inexpensive and acceptable but aging hotel. We had two nights here in July 2014 and explored the really fantastic town of Douarnenez. We had a room facing the 'courtyard' which was quiet. The restaurant in the hotel seemed busy but we did not dine there are we were out and about and the town has so many options. ||||A lower cost option - but acceptable.

Good little hotel right in the centre. Close to the shops, port and beach. The room was clean and tidy. Provided a kettle with tea and coffee which was a nice touch. My only grumble would be that there was no bath. Only a shower. We had a very comfortable nights sleep. Definitely return to stay in this hotel if we make a visit to the town again.
