Good evening Family. I visited this establishment for the first time today to watch the Eagles play the Commanders. Unfortunately the Eagles lost 24-17. I was seated by Kadek, who works here and was very nice and friendly and efficient. I decided to sit at a table. The bar area was crowded. I ordered all appetizers: Crispy brussels sprouts, which was $9.99, veggie spring rolls which were $4.99 and the cucumber salad which was $6.99. My total was $28.13 which included the tax which was $1.76 and the service fee which was $4.40. I am wondering now why they charged me a service fee of $4.40. The food was okay but the service by Kadek was superb. He was very friendly. When I asked about the Eagles game coming on at 4:25 pm, he immediately switched the channels and turned the game on. There was a sign which said if you want to watch a certain channel, they will change it for you. I visited the rest rooms and it was clean. There were two unisex rest rooms available. I enjoyed my visit here tonight. I only wish that the Eagles had beaten the lowly Commanders. I arrived in a Lyft and I left in a Lyft. The best way to arrive here is by ride sharing or public transportation. Workout, be healthy, fit and fabulous especially for people over 50 years of age. Good night.

I like the place for a sports bar, the music is good and the bartender was so kind (his name is Dan) and the service was impeccable. The happy hour food was amazing. You should try this place if you are spending a Sunday in Philly (happy hour everyday). It’s a good bar for sports !

We came here on a Saturday and were pleasantly surprised that they have happy hour 4-6. We ordered a bunch of apps to share and the shark bite shots. The food was very good and fresh. The wings were also only .50 because the Phillies were playing. They were very meaty and a good amount of spice. Our bartender Victorand Bre were awesome and super friendly. We would definitely come back.

We got cheese steak egg rolls and buffalo wings and they were both amazing. The egg rolls had a Chinatown flair and we're so crispy and juicy. They had all the football games I wanted to see and the Phils of course. We chatted up our bar neighbors and Bri gave us the best service! It was exactly what we were looking for on a Sunday in Philly.

Food was really good and priced but service could have been a little better. I would have to look for my waiter instead of him coming to us and the reason it was a 3 star and not 4 star is because the bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. It was Co-ed and there was pee everywhere and my wife couldn’t even sit on the toilet pee. Keep up with the bathrooms and that place would be a great place to hangout. I would go back but hopefully the bathroom is a lot better.

I had an amazing experience at The Lion’s Bar! The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. What truly made the experience exceptional, though, was our waiter, Brianna. She provided outstanding service—attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming. She made sure everything was perfect from start to finish and really elevated our visit. I can’t wait to come back. Highly recommend for great food and even better service!

Stopped in here to watch a game and there were both pros and cons. Pro’s: the food is good, and you get a nice portion for a good price! I had the General Tso’s nachos and man it was amazing! They also have plenty of tv’s, so it’s perfect for watching any sporting event. There is also plenty of seating throughout the restaurant. Con’s: it took FOREVER to get both food and drinks! It took so long that my appetizer, entree, and my beer (which I ordered before anything else) came out at the same time, and only after I ran down the waiter. This was a direct result of there only being one waiter working the entire restaurant! Don’t know if this is a normal thing, or just a mix up that day, but either way that’s unacceptable! I watched multiple people leave because it took too long to get their first drink (I was almost one of them). I would love to give Lion Sports bar another shot, but the wait to receive ordered items is a bit much to overcome!

Great view of any TV in the place. Staff is very helpful in making you feel welcomed and making sure you're watching the game(s) you'd like to see. We only had appetizers, but I'm quite sure the menu is full of great selections

Arrived in Philadelphia starving! Friend and I decided to find a sports bar within walking distance of the Bellevue where we were staying for the Marine Corps Ball. Lion Sports Bar did NOT disappoint! Delicious food and friendly service! 100% looking forward to another trip to Philly so I can visit again!

A Chinese sports bar?! Great combination! It was fun to go watch sports, drink beer, and have food options other than wings (although they do have wings). The place is in two sections. The front is a long bar and the back room is just a big room with a huge TV. Drinks are fairly priced. Servers were friendly and efficient. The foot was pretty good. I enjoyed my skewers and my buddy got potstickers. Like I said, fun to have new options!

10% off for medical workers all day every day. $3 breakfast Guiness with Real Madrid finals on tv, after my early shift ended? Yes please lol. "Breakfast" menu includes all from the appetizers list and chicken wings. "Lightly" seasoned sweet potato fries was really heavily coated with the sugar seasoning. Lots of fried foods for the morning rush if that's your thing. Cucumbers and Edamame for the not fried stuffs Guinness tasted lighter than usual which is weird . Group agreed.

Seemingly great new spot opened in Chinatown - sports bar with tons of TVs to watch your fav team games. There is a long bar in the front half of the place and then a big back room with many tables. Sports memorabilia everywhere and the vibe is great, can't wait to see it during game day. Had some cocktails and they were good. Didn't get food this trip but the nachos and sandwiches were huge! Heard good things. They have special 7am opening on weekends to show soccer (football) games so will be great place to watch sports. Thanks

I got the chicken and beef skewers and some beer. Honestly, the beef skewers were so tender and yummy. Chicken was good too. It wasn't very crowded on a Friday evening but I know the place can get wild when sports are on with their specials and the fans.

Want to give this 4 stars so bad because the food was INCREDIBLE and the atmosphere was cute. The issue was, a friend and i met up after a very long day of work and we were absolutely STARVING. Like delusionally hungry. We sat at the bar for at least 20-30 minutes with absolutely no acknowledgement whatsoever from the bartender. Sure, the bar was pretty crowded at maybe 70-80% capacity. However, she had stopped by the same people 20 times and we heard her take and fulfill new drink orders for the group next to us while we were still waiting to be greeted by our bartender. We were literally putting our coats on to leave and find a new place when a new bartender came up and took our order, which is the ONLY reason we stayed. The drinks were pretty good - do NOT order an espresso martini with cream unless you want it to be 90% baileys. The food is truly what saves this place. We ordered sweet potato fries and a caramelized onion burger with fries on the side. The sweet potato fries were possibly some of the best I've ever had, the burger was insanely delicious (albeit a bit messy), and the regular fries tasted like a gourmet version of McDonald's fries - I'm normally not a French-fry person, but I was definitely stealing entire handfuls of my partner's fries the whole meal!!! I was also getting jealous of the people sitting around us because every meal that passed by us looks absolutely delicious. Unfortunately no pictures, but I would recommend this place as long as you're willing to potentially wait for a half hour before being served!!

So the place was cool but drinks seemed a little on the high side. One Espolon shot was $15, I think that's a bit much for a bar like this. Food took a little long to come out in my opinion. Although The nachos were tasty, but I'm not running back for them anytime soon. The staff were nice. We plan to give it another try during happy hour. There is a touchtunes present. But basically if I want to go watch a game or something for more than an hour I would not come here because paying $15 per shot is a bit much for Espolon that costs 35ish a bottle.

Had a great experience for their eagle football game day celebration! Food was great , service was really good, ambience was lively definitely perfect for an Eagles game !!! if you've been thinking about checking it out please do definitely worth it !

So this place is across the street and where Ding Feng Tang used to be below Tango. They just opened last month in the spot and have brought back some of the old spots Menu items like the skewers. Happy Hour specials are banging and they have all sorts of events. They even open early for Soccer matches. Their instagram is lit so check that for the most current specials. As they are very new things will likely get tweaked and added. They even have late night happy hour for night owls like me. Food: I've been here four times so far, there's so much to munch on and it's all been delicious. Margaritas: Fresh and Sour and Yummy, The Mango With Tajin is sinful and a must have. Rum Punch: The pineapple is fresh, you can tell by the foam. To people saying the drinks are high, fresh ingredients yield quality and are more expensive. anyone can crack open a lame can of dole, serve it for 2 dollars less and give you a much worse product. This drink was so yummy I had two that night. I think only a few dashes of bitters could have improved things. Buffalo wings: Crispy, Yummy, everything you could want from a buffalo wing. These came out fast and crisp even on the Phillies Opening day. I'd have preferred Bleu cheese and carrots over ranch and celery but I am weird. Crystal Shrimp Dumplings: So Big and juicy! Beautiful too. I had to open wide and enjoyed chewing every mouthful of juicy shrimp with their dumpling dip sauce. Dan Dan Noodles: Best thing I've eaten here so far. They do ask you if you are okay with spice for this and the skewers. As a Chili-head I was all the way in. The noodles were so toothsome and yummy, and I loved the contrast the pork and peanuts gave. This is a rockstar example of a dish you need to nail in this neighborhood. Skewers: Pork Belly wrapped Mushrooms, Shrimp, Lamb, Beef, and Chicken are all on offer currently. The meats were tender and delicious, not dry like some skewers can be. This is something I'd love to see them expand and perhaps serve with a dip? In any case 7.50 for multiple skewers of juicy meat is a deal you shouldn't miss. As of Writing this I hear they are testing $1.50 Skewers on Wednesdays after 7. Shrimp and Pork Wontons: A Lovely snack and so cheap during happy hour. The dumpling skins were perfect, I loved the sauce enough I took a big sip, and the filling was plentiful and juicy. Several of my neighbors complimented the Corn Ribs and Philly Cheeseteak Eggrolls. Both looked and smelled delicious. Service: Kind friendly staff were happy to chat and answer questions. They make you really want to come back. For me moving to a new city can be lonely, coming here truly made me filled with joy. They want you to have a great experience. Atmosphere: A Long beautiful bar greets you with double doors that can open on nice weather. There are more TV's in here than I have ever seen outside of maybe a best buy. Have a Group? They have tables for dining in the back where they also host music and Karaoke. They have slots and I think I saw a Claw Machine? Or Perhaps that was wishful thinking. It's spotless and very contemporary. Summary: Do you want to go to a bar on Arch Street. Here, you go here. I do so several times a week! :)

Visited Lion Sports Bar on Boxing Day (Dec 27) to watch some Premier League soccer with my buddy. The bar is nice, 8 televisions positioned over the bar for convenient sports watching. My issue is their 'pricing' policy, especially for drinks. I ordered a pint of Victory Brotherly Love Hazy IPA, on the menu it reads a cost of $9. I put a $20 bill on the bar, and the bartender returns $8. My first assumption is that he also included a $3 Guinness for my friend - no problem. Then I do the same thing about an hour later, this time no Guinness, and I get back $8. So I ask him how much does the Victory cost - he tells me when tax and gratuity are included it's $12. Apparently they have an automatic policy of adding 20% to every bill, whether you get one beer or a full meal. This is not cool. Nowhere in the city am I paying $12 for a pint of Victory. Additionally, my aforementioned Guinness-drinking buddy was under the assumption he was paying $3 for each pint, as that was on their digital advertisement board behind the bar. However, it turned out that the pints were $4.50 each. They had another advertisement that had the pints as half-off (originally $9). According to the bartender they "changed the prices this week." I know this is a long-winded review, however, I wanted to ensure other potential patrons know what they are in for. My friend and I will not be returning.

Bartending service, food, drinks etc was incredible!! Music was great, good TV, Phillies games, Eagles, Sixers games all on big TVs!! Amanda at the bar was great. Amazing, fast and compassionate service. Always made sure my drink was full, water or alcohol! 5 stars! Thanks Amanda! PS: Get a shark shot! Amanda will do the Jaws theme for you if you ask!

I had an amazing experience at Lion! The environment is clean and for food their skewers are amazing, their general tsos nachos are to die for. They truly are a unique experience. On top of that the bartenders are very nice and friendly. Ashley had great customer service and made very tasty cocktails AND mocktails on the fly. I will be here regularly.

He asked what kind of flavors I liked, and instead of handing me a menu, he crafted a specialty cocktail on the spot that was nothing short of magic--balanced, bold, and totally unique, just like the moment. But what truly set Jase apart was the conversation. Between mixing drinks and effortlessly managing the bar, he somehow found the time to really listen. When I mentioned a dream I'd been too scared to chase, Jase shared his own journey--how he took risks, trusted his gut, and refused to settle. It wasn't preachy. It was real. Honest. And exactly what I needed to hear. By the time I left, I had more than just the taste of the best cocktail I've ever had--I had the fire in my chest to go after what I want. If you're lucky enough to find yourself in a bar where Jase is behind the counter, stay awhile. Order something off-menu. And prepare to leave not just satisfied, but inspired. Bartender very rude. Had to leave. Sat for 10 minutes at an empty bar waiting for a drink. Then I made the mistake to ask for Sunday night baseball game to be on theTV. It was like pulling teeth. Found a way nicer bar right around the corner

Food was great! Service amazing! Drinks were strong and worth it! Music got lit after 9 , Hendry was a great service. I'll be back.

Wings were great and the adios mother was everything and more. Not to mention Evelyn was a great server wonderful service!!

Came on here at 8pm ordered a drink and a hot dog after the second time sending it back because they kept adding chilli which I states I didn't want.. I'm waiting to see if after the third time will they get it right meanwhile 7-11 in the close with the in and out hotdog with all the fixing for $3 without a hour wait go figure!!

Great happy hour deals and such a vibrant spot. We got the house wine, fries, mozzarella stick, and wontons and it was all very yummy. We went on a Wednesday and service was great but wish we went on a day with an actual game. I can tell it could be very lively there. Ready to give it a 5 once I see this bar in action.

Out of towners visiting and picked the closest place. On a Thursday, the crowd was lively with well played live music. The service was appropriate with the size of crowd. The drinks were typical for location, the food was fairly priced for the quality. Overall, very much enjoyed date night in a safe place!

I don't trust easily. But the moment Jase slid that Old Fashioned across the bar with a wink and a dad-joke? Trust built. He's part bartender, part therapist, part magician. He made a drink for my friend that wasn't even on the menu--it tasted like vacation, forgiveness, and a tax refund. We don't deserve Jase. 10/10 would let Jase ruin my liver again.

I dont know what was hotter...the spicy margarita I ordered or the bartender Jase that made it! love this place. They even have the WWE special events!
