Small neighborhood shoppe, minority owned. Attractive display, nice vibe, small but good range of selections. A bit overpriced - you can still get a good bottle of wine for under $10, nothing here is less than $14, most are $20 and much higher - but hey it’s Brooklyn. Oddly, the staff seem in a hurry to ring you up and get you out. I went in twice today, there was a different person minding the store each time, and each time they asked me two or three times if I was finished.

Great wine store. It is beautifully stocked with a global array of wines. And the staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I went in to purchase a couple of bottles for my wife and her friends and I only knew the flavors they were looking for. I was shown different wines that matched the flavors I came in for. My wife was very happy with the selections when i got home. This will definitely become my new wine spot.

I was randomly walking by last week and noticed their attractive display. The lady I interacted with was very personable and knowledgeable. She knew just what to get from my descriptions. The real problem was that every bottle she was putting down peaked my curiosity. Really impressed with their variety of wines. Bottles I don't regularly encounter. I ended up walking out with 4 bottles from my visit. Can't wait to go back when I'm in the area.

This shop is a total 10. I was flying in from out of state and needed a case of wine for an event. They didn't have my requested wine in stock but got a special order placed before my arrival. Great coordination with the pick-up logistics and went above/beyond in everyway. Thank you for being so amazing - in every way.

I have been drinking wine for 20 years. I have lived in France and Germany. This wine store has the best selection of any place I've ever been. The buyer has literally changed my life with the wines that he has introduced me to. I don't think I've ever even been like, meh this is ok. Every recommendation from the insanely kind and knowledgeable staff has been incredible.

So glad this place opened up where it did. Can pop in on the way home from the train. Excellent selection of affordable wines. They have an array of organic and natural wines too which if you're into that. The staff is great. Friendly, approachable, and don't go all wine talky on you. Pumped for this new addition to the neighborhood.

Absolutely love Liquid Assets! It’s conveniently placed outside of the subway on my way home from work. They have a great wine selection to choose from. If you’re unsure about the wines you are looking for, they have knowledgeable employees with customer service that can help you find the right wine for any occasion! Highly recommend Liquid Assets for any wine enthusiasts!

Liquid Assets sells all types of wine. Again, I am a wine amateur not a connoisseur. I'm a wine dunce in fact. When I inquired about the petition at the front of the store requesting that LA be licensed to sell "Spirits," I had no idea that they only sold wine because that's all they can sell. I thought that wine and spirits were one and the same. The counter person explained to me that there's a difference between the two licenses and that the closer you are to a zone with school aged children, the lesser your chances are of securing a license to sell hard liquor a.k.a. Spirits. LA sells enough wine that I never noticed but if you're looking to purchase anything stronger than the grape, Liquid Assets is not the place. Oh, sign the petition while you're there.

What a neighborhood gem! The wine selection is absolutely spectacular. They always have exactly what I'm looking for and in all varying price points. Sometimes I want a natural Pinot Noir for $15-$20. Other times, I want to splurge on a $60-$80 Burgundy. They also rotate inventory often, so I'm always finding new bottles to fall in love with. Also, everyone who works there is kind, knowledgeable, and always ready to offer recommendations.

After living in Washington for a bit with all its wineries, I knew purchasing wine was something I would do now that I am back in Brooklyn (also being over 21 and having cash on hand). I had heard of this shop through the Instagram account black owned Brooklyn and since I was going to be in the area for something else, why not drop by. In addition, the store has a website so you can see what wines they have in stock based on categories. I wanted to get wine from a particular producer and I saw that they had it without wasting my time going to visit with little success. The place is on the small side. So I don't think it would be the best place for a big tasting nor for all the basic wine supplies you need. However, they did have a selection of natural wines. Since I'm not familiar with that kind of wine, I didn't buy any but thought it was interesting that they had a special selection. The person working the store helped me quickly find the wines created by the producer I was looking for and helped me to choose the one best for me. It was a Pinot Gris twist cap called O.P.P (other people's Pinot) from Maison Noir Wines. The wine's creator makes great informative wine videos through Bon Appetit's YouTube channel and I didn't have a cork on me yet. It was quick and efficient. I could see myself coming back if I am in the area or have a particular desire for a wine. I saw they were trying to get an expanded liquor license so if that comes through, there would be more to offer

This is a small store but what they like in size common they make up for with quality. With knowledgeable friendly service and varying prices from $15 and up, It's really easy to find something you will like. I settled on inexpensive bottle of riesling to enjoy on a week night. Not too sweet not too dry Harry Chris and light. They have a program where you collect points with each purchase, so im excited to see what comes of it.

Created my own " Black Owned Business Tour" while I visited Brooklyn, New York. Came across Liquid Assets and had to pop in. The store is set up beautifully. There was only one employee in store even I visited. He was very friendly, and Very well rounded and knowledgeable of EVERY wine I asked him about . From the history of certain wines. Different countries the wines come from. His personal favorites and much more.

When I saw that Liquid Assets was moving into the neighborhood a few months back I didn't know what to think. The name was questionably pretentious and it was moving into a space formerly inhabited by a pretty disappointing wine shop. Now a few months and about 10 visits later, I am here to say that this is hands down my favorite wine shop in the area! The selection rotates enough to keep things interesting while retaining a solid rotation of favorites. But what makes this place really shine is the staff and the well thought out selection of wines. Great addition and I encourage everyone to stop by to try a bottle of something new.

Super friendly staff. Cute shop. I've shopped in person and done online pickups and every time has been delightful. I've also seen the staff interact with other patrons. Great selection, too.

Great selection, knowledgeable staff, reasonable prices...this place pretty much checks all the boxes. It's a cute little shop and a great add to the neighborhood, which didn't really have a place like this before. I kinda wish they had liquor as well, but it's definitely my go to for wine.

Great selection of wines. Organic, Natural, Biodynamic options. Staff is really friendly. Low end $10 to high end $$. Lots of excellent $20 options. Right off the A & C Nostrand stop.

Liquid Assets is a great addition to the neighborhood. The immediate area has been lacking in wine shops, and given its close proximity to the subway, I've dropped in a few times to grab a bottle or two on my way home from work. The shop has a good variety of wines, and the staff is helpful in providing recommendations.

Just what the neighborhood needed! I highly recommend due to the great location and large selection of wines. Liquid Assets has bottles of wine to meet all budgets and a knowledgeable staff to assist the casual wine drinker to the wine connoisseurs. This is the perfect place to pop by and grab a bottle of wine (or two... or three) after work or while on your way to a dinner party. I definitely plan on adding Liquid Assets to my list of frequently visited stores in the neighborhood!

Refreshing to have a quality Wine store near Fulton and Nostrand. Have only gone once but look forward to checking out their selections over time. The owners have some proprietary relationships with vineyards which can be good for discovering some unique product. I have a positive feeling about this one.
