100% recommend this experience! Liquor Lab knows how to do a mixology class. My daughter and I did the Spring Margaritas class with three distinctly different, equally delectable margaritas. Everything was extremely organized, the drinks were delicious, the atmosphere was fun, and we loved everything about the class! Luke added just the right amount of humor to his extensive knowledge of mixing drinks and cocktail history. I appreciated that we weren't rushed through our drinks. In fact, after the first cocktail was mixed, we got to enjoy a beautiful spread of tasty snacks. Everything was great, including the price! I would definitely do this again. My only recommendation is that Liquor Lab adds a shop where we can buy merchandise, or purchase the syrups or tequila we used in class. Thanks Liquor Lab!

My friend and I booked the master class on a whim. We had an amazing time and learned so much. Bryan did an amazing job teaching techniques, recipes, history, and more. I will definitely book another class next time I’m visiting Nashville.

I have been saying I wanted to try this out since they opened. Finally went for a friend's birthday. Theme was margaritas and more. You walk in and check in. They have ring lights and a backdrop for you to use your phone and take photos. They also have items for sale too. Lole cocktails in a bag, agave syrup, and some gift sets. Such a great idea. You have a bar station that you share with another person. There are charcuterie boards set up for light refreshments. It's very tasty. You create 3 different cocktails, and the instructor walks you through step by step as well as gives you some history on this night tequila. They are very passionate and knowledgeable, which made the class even better. Music was very good as well. Will definitely go back again.

We had date night here and are already planning on going back and bringing friends with us! We took the prohibition cocktail class and loved all three drinks we got to make and even more so loved learning the history of the cocktails as well. We bought new bar ware like we used there and have recreated the Bees Knees at home! This place is perfect for large parties, work team building, or even dates nights like we did. We’re going back soon for the margarita class!

We went to do this class for a couple’s double date night and it was SO FUN! The class is easy to participate in and even with a BIG class size it’s easy to follow along. Staff was friendly, attentive, and wonderful to interact with! Highly recommended if you want a break from the bars and a cool place to relax.

My first experience there and it will not be the last. Daniel was a great instructor, and the whole class was designed to give the beginner mixologist a lot of confidence to explore further. Charcuterie between lessons and chasing with others in the class make this an enjoyable, social event.

Great experience, as you're learning you're drinking but the instructor was so passionate about her craft she did such a great job engaging, it was really a class but it was also entertaining and engaging. I had an unfair advantage, I do not drink, but I was able to make mocktails and follow along with the help of the instructor giving me liquor substitutions. So, I wasn't as "sauced up" as my company, and I honed in on really learning about different liquors, where they come from and how to differentiate between good ones and bad ones. Just a great experience.

My son, daughter-in-law & husband had a great time at the liquor lab. It was the 1st day of the Summer Margaritas. The instructor was very informative and patient with the class. He answered all our questions and we would live to come again. Hopeful they will open on in Dallas Tx in the near future. The drinks were A+!

Amazing experience making cocktails combined with comedians. One of our favorite date nights! We will definitely be back!

Such a fun girls night!! We had a blast and the cocktails were legit. We did summer margaritas and every one was so delicious, can't wait to make them at home. They do have a small charcuterie board for snacks, but plan to eat before or after! Also, there is a photo opp (with ring light) at the front, so don't forget to tag them! Will be back with the husband for another night when it features something he likes!

Event was great! I would give 5 stars but there is no signage outside for Liquor Lab pretty much everyone had a hard time finding it. The entrance was a little chaotic because there was another rowdy event happening with people in very interesting costumes. Our bartender Luke was great, a lot of fun history and comedy thrown into the class. We made three fancy cocktails and learned how to properly shake a sour drink. Honestly the class was a blast and they accommodate those who like cocktails as well. I'd definitely do this again.

A really great experience! They had cheeses, crackers, fruits etc to snack on before and during the drink making experience. We made three bourbon drinks and was a lot of fun. The host was very informative and passionate about making drinks. We want to go back and try it again with different drink types.

Our knowledgebale bartender, Nick, gave all the tips and tricks to make our cocktail-making experience worth it. Enjoyed the Mardi Gras cocktail session. Great room set up to accommodate a decent sized crowd. Love the mural on the wall and how they've incorporated spirits into all of the decor. Great girls night out.

Liquor Lab in Nashville is a must-do for anyone looking for a fun and informative night out. The mixologist-led classes are interactive and relaxed, making it a great way to learn about cocktails and create your own. Always a fun time at liquor lab. Was introduced to the liquor lab through a Yelp event this year and we chose to go back for a birthday celebration. We did the seasonal cocktails class and it was so much fun! Our instructor was super knowledgeable and had fun facts and jokes at the ready. For food, we had bbq, Mac and cheese, and cornbread. For the drinks, we made a orchard sidecar, autumn mule, and chai spice old fashioned. They also had a fun photo booth in the lobby that's a must do. Highly recommend for a date night or girls night!

This place is a gem! The atmosphere and decor is well thought out with murals covering most of the walls inside. The staff are kind, knowledgeable, and provide participants with an overall great experience making cocktails. A beautiful and tasty charcuterie board is available throughout the class to graze from that my class devoured. Thank you Liquor Lab for providing a unique Nashville experience!

I wanted to take a cocktail class for my birthday. My husband found Liquor Lab. We did the bourbon night and had a blast! It is fun and informative and who doesn't like to learn new stuff while drinking?! Thanks to Brian who was fabulous. We may come back and try a different class!

I attended this class with some girl friends to celebrate a birthday, and we had a fabulous time! I was pleasantly surprised to learn that the menu items change seasonally, and while we went in December the menu did not change from Fall to Winter until December 21 (winter solstice). We really enjoyed our fall flavors, incorporated into each of the three drinks we made ourselves. Our teacher was incredibly funny, kind, and patient as we fumbled with the provided tools. I am looking forward to impressing my friends with the interesting history and tips we learned from this class. I am looking forward to coming back for the additional seasons!

Brian was a great bartender/host. We socialized and ate and loved the drinks. Learned so many tricks and things I never knew. Highly recommend!!! Thanks for a great afternoon with my son who was home for a visit!

Looking for a great way to change up date night or the perfect bachelorette event? This is it! We went for a date night and will absolutely be back, with friends! When first arriving we were welcomed by an individual meal box of pizza and a roll from 5 points pizza. We definitely didn't expect any food so it was a nice surprise. We made 3 different cocktails throughout the entirety of the class (tequila, gin, whiskey) and though I actually don't like gin or whiskey, I did really enjoy the drinks. The instructor was awesome and it was fun chit chatting with others in the class while sipping on our cocktails! Very cool and unique experience! I can't speak much to where you might park but do note this is located directly off of Broadway so it will likely cost to park in a garage near bay. Uber is probably safest since it's a cocktail class

This was such a cool experience, I love pretty cocktails so learning new techniques was nice. But what a fun concept to do for a date nite or a girls nite and drinking and laughing the night away. We did 3 bourbon based cocktails, not a big bourbon fan but when it's mixed with other stuff and made into sweet and fruity drinks I'm all for it. I'm glad to experience this being a yelper but now I want to plan a date with my girls with maybe tequila or rum lol. Thank you Yelp and Liquor Lab for hosting us!

My girlfriends and I went to the Liquor Lab on Friday night for a bachelorette event. We showed up at 5pm to start the event, which was Margarita themed. There was a party of 16 of us, so we were seated in a large room in front of a stage that was prepared with all of the necessities to make drinks. Initially upon getting dropped off by our uber, it was difficult to find the place. We didn't realize that it was downstairs, so some signage may help guests to get down there. We were carded at the door by a somewhat dull guy that had no interest in us or our excitement. We met with the instructor who was very kind to us. He quickly prepared us for what was ahead with the class. He step by step allowed us to make 3 different margaritas for all pallets of people. We were provided chips and salsa as well as two chicken tacos. The margaritas were delicious! I will definitely be trying to make these at home. Highly recommend this place for an event. I believe they are opening others throughout the country, so it will be nice to present this type of experience to other cities.

Had a blast at a Liquor lab class! I took a holiday cocktails class on a late Saturday afternoon (3:30). I was welcomed by a friendly staff member and shown to our classroom. Class was packed with friendly folks. We all just a chance to make three cocktails: a hot toddy, a gin cocktail and an old fashioned. While the drinks were somewhat simple, but ingredients were high quality and the instructor was patient, friendly and incredibly knowledgeable! We were given a significant portion of bbq and Mac and cheese from Peg Leg Porker as our small bite. It was AMAZING! Its a bit on the pricey side, but is a fun thing to do when visiting Nashville, hanging out with friends, having a date nite or celebrating an occasion. I recommend!

We signed up for the Bourbon and Beyond on March 4th! Our group of 10 had a blast and we will definitely be back for more classes. The instructor was knowledgeable and engaging. The drinks were amazing. We had a great time!!! It's a great stop for a night out in Nashville!!

My company did a team-building event here, and it was a blast. There were 12 of us total, and they walked us through each drink, gave us just enough history and information as we were making drinks. I was hesitant about the drinks, but they were all fantastic. It really made me rethink cocktails. The guy who led the class was passionate and knowledgeable. I learned a lot about the quality of ingredients, and has helped me as I've gone out and ordered cocktails or purchased liquor, mixers, etc for my home. We had a great time and would love to return with friends.

This was such a fun class. The instructor was well-versed in the history of the drinks we were making (New Orleans themed) as well as the liquors. My friend and I had a lot of fun learning about the drinks, new techniques, and tasting them too! I would have given this five stars, but the place is ridiculous to find if you don't have good instructions (and if you are not from the area). There is no neon sign outside of the liquor lab, and you have to look for a tiny sign outside and happen to look in windows to find their logo. It's downstairs in a basement with some other business on the top floor. We got there early and spent 30 minutes walking around and asking people where the liquor lab was. We found the locked back entrance and it looked dark and scary with no phone number to call. Their website also does not have a working phone number (after hours), and the only way to contact them is via email. The only way we found the place was one of the nearby bars had a bouncer who knew about the place. We have been contacted by Liquor Labs and have provided this feedback, so hopefully they will provide a more detailed description of how to get there on their confirmation email and update their phone number.

This place is so much fun! I highly recommend it. Learned a lot about drinks. Very easy to make. Who knew?! Lol

Nashville's first hands-on, interactive craft beer, wine, spirit and cocktail event space and social experience is a fresh new addition to the nashville scene. I was lucky enough to attend the soft opening and wasn't really expecting it to be much different than other mixology classes but boy was I wrong. This experience was next level greatness. Professional Instruction The key to a any great class is the instructor and Freddie came through like a champion. He's edgy, incredibly knowledgeable and obviously a master of his craft. I guess you have to be if you're Liquor Lab Nashville's chief cocktail officer. All that being said, I think the most important thing to note is that he's approachable and willing to answer questions and give solid advice throughout the class. Trust me I went from no shake skills to shaker queen by the end of the night. Experience The class is set up like a lab with ample seating and a clear view of the instructor. Everyone has their own dedicated station which enhanced the hands on experience for me. Check in at the podium on the lower level was fast and easy. Freddie provided a brief overview of the space, class and the comment cards placed at each station. We were asked to rank and give comments on each cocktail. Cocktail favorites are compiled at the end of the year and sent to attendees via email. Cocktail kits and merch were available for purchase. Be sure to ask about the Dollar Cocktail Club. Cocktails/Food I attended the Margaritas and Tacos class. Prior to the class we were treated to small plate tacos and veggies from a local vendor. Having food available is definitely a different twist from other classes I've attended. Next, using infused tequilas, fresh purées and other classic ingredients we were guided through crafting four amazing cocktails and given a brief history of tequila and its origins. Freddie also gave great suggestions on tequila options at every price point. Final Two Cents Hands down one of the best interactive experiences in the city. Pricing at approximately $50 to $60 is comparable to what you would pay for other classes in the area. The class runs for about an hour and a half. This is a great activity to do alone or with a group. The space can be rented for private events and Liquor Lab Nashville plans to host cocktail, spirit and craft beer related festivals and events throughout the year. It's definitely a Nashville must do experience.

EDIT: after the one star review, someone finally reached out to me and they will transfer my tickets to a later date of my choosing. ORIGINAL: customer service is non existent. after getting COVID and needing to transfer or refund my tickets, I tried contacting liquor lab for 3 days through email and instagram and no reply.

To begin this class is super fun! I would recommend this to any level of drinker. You get to learn about the spirits, ingredients, and the crafting of each cocktail. Our instructor was Freddie. Hands down made the experience welcoming and fun! There wasn't a full moment during the class plus an add bonus is that you get some type of food/snack before the class starts. So get there a little early so you can snack before the class starts. 10/10 recommendation!

So much fun! Freddy was entertaining and a great teacher of espresso martinis! Can't wait to practice the new skills.

Honestly, the concept for this place is pure genius. Learning how to make your own fancy cocktails is so fun!! Whether you are looking for a really fun yet different date night, a way to start out a night with friends, or for a birthday party or bachelor/bachelorette - this is the spot. For a really good deal (and off Broadway so great location!!), you get amazing local food + a few very strong cocktails that you make yourself! They have several different types of cocktail classes - I plan to attend them all :) Freddie was our instructor for the last class I attended (bourbon + BBQ). Not only did he teach us the specific histories of each bourbon we used to make cocktails, as well as the to-do's and not-to-do's with bourbon, he was also so very funny, kind, and entertaining! After the class is over, they send you the recipes for all of the cocktails you make so you can make them at home as well. Liquor Lab recently reopened post-pandemic, so I am sure they are still trying to get the word out about it being back but if you are at all curious, I highly recommend booking!
