This vibrant, retro-chic steakhouse boasts upscale cuts, local charcuterie, and an impressive spirits list, all set in an expansive atmosphere.
"After closing nearly a year ago to repair damage caused by a kitchen fire, Lenox Road steakhouse Little Alley Steak reopens Wednesday, September 16, at One Alliance Center in Buckhead. Chefs at the restaurant tried to put out the fire last November, which began in a hood above one of the stoves. No one was injured in the fire, and the most serious damage was contained to the kitchen. Atlanta Fire and Rescue ruled the kitchen blaze accidental. Owners Hicham Azhari and Fikret Kovac had hoped to reopen Little Alley-Buckhead earlier this winter, but those plans were further delayed by the pandemic. “It’s been a challenge,” general manager Youssef Chakrani says in a prepared statement. “But we are excited to be back. We have lots of outdoor seating and the dining rooms will be properly spaced, so our guests will feel comfortable.” Patrons of the restaurant will be required to wear masks when not seated at a table or at the bar, in accordance with Atlanta’s mask mandate. Little Alley plans to provide masks to people who forget to bring their own. A representative tells Eater, over a dozen sanitizing stations are located throughout the steakhouse and the patio. Seating will be limited during the pandemic, and plexiglass dividers have been installed between booths in the dining room. Little Alley Steak-Buckhead opened two years ago, following the opening of chef Ian Winslade’s Mission and Market nearby at Three Alliance Center. This is the second location of Azhari and Kovac’s popular Roswell steakhouse on Canton Street. Little Alley Steak-Buckhead is triple the size, seating 250 people between two dining rooms, the bar, and a patio and outdoor bar. Open Monday - Friday, 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday, 4 p.m. to 11 p.m." - Beth McKibben
"Little Alley Steak’s Buckhead location reopens in February after a November fire nearly destroyed the restaurant’s kitchen. Owners Hicham Azhari and Fikret Kovac invested $1.5 million in repairs and renovations. The restaurant features two dining rooms, a bar, and a patio with its own bar, and serves wet and dry-aged steaks and prime cuts of beef as well as oysters and other chilled seafood." - Beth McKibben
"Lenox Road steakhouse Little Alley Steak is closed temporarily after a fire broke out in the kitchen of the One Alliance Center restaurant in Buckhead early yesterday evening. The fire was contained to the kitchen and no one was injured. Prior to the arrival of the fire department, chefs tried to put out the fire that began in a hood above one of the stoves. Atlanta Fire and Rescue ruled the fire accidental. Owners Hicham Azhari and Fikret Kovac tell Eater Atlanta they are assessing the damage to determine repairs and a reopening date. Signs posted to the front door indicate the restaurant could remain closed through at least Sunday. This is the second location of Azhari and Kovac’s popular Roswell steakhouse on Canton Street. The Buckhead restaurant is triple the size of its Roswell counterpart, seating 250 people between two dining rooms, a bar, and the patio with its own bar. Little Alley Steak-Buckhead opened last spring following the opening of chef Ian Winslade’s Mission and Market, located nearby at Three Alliance Center. The classic steakhouse serves both wet and dry-aged steaks and prime cuts of beef, alongside a menu of oysters and other chilled seafood. Both Buckhead and Roswell include deep whiskey lists. Buckhead offers more than 400 whiskeys, scotches, and bourbons on its menu." - Beth McKibben
"The Buckhead outpost of Roswell’s Little Alley Steak is now open in One Alliance Center on Lenox Road; the same complex as Mission and Market which opened in March at Three Alliance Center. The 9000-square-foot Little Alley Steak-Buckhead is triple the size of the original location on Canton Street in Roswell. The Buckhead steakhouse seats 250 people and includes a bar, a main dining room, a smaller dining room, a patio with an outdoor bar, and a lounge. A private dining room is located upstairs. Little Alley-Buckhead’s menu is similar to its Roswell outpost with wet and dry-aged steaks, prime cuts, charcuterie, and a kobe beef burger among the meat choices. Oysters and chilled seafood are available for pre-steak bites, along with appetizers like duck confit spring rolls and beef tartare. Over 400 whiskeys, bourbons, and scotches are listed on the beverage menu. Steak-friendly cocktails include a small selection of old fashioneds and Manhattans as well as drinks like the vodka-based lemon drop, a Moscow mule riff, and sangria. Little Alley opens in the already steakhouse-heavy Buckhead market; home to Bones, Chops, Hal’s, and American Cut. Another steakhouse, Arnette’s Chop Shop, opened last week three miles away in Brookhaven. Little Alley is owned by Hicham Azhari and Fikret Kovac, who also own Salt Factory Pub." - Beth McKibben
"Buckhead is about to add one more steakhouse to its plentiful market of beef-heavy restaurants when it welcomes Roswell’s Little Alley Steak this spring. Little Alley is scheduled to open on May 7 in the former Aja space at One Alliance Center on Lenox Road. The design of the steakhouse is inspired by the interiors of butcher shops common throughout New York City. Buckhead’s menu won’t stray far from that of the original Roswell location. Expect the standard surf and turf fare, charcuterie, and a bourbon collection said to total 365 bottles." - Beth McKibben
