"Little Baby's Ice Cream, Fishtown by The Heads of State. If you’ve seen the commercial or their tricycles around town, then chances are your interest has already been piqued, but in case not – Little Baby’s HQ is the place to cool-off in the dead of summer or just to treat yourself any other time of the year. The quirky ice-creamery offers up some seriously high quality dairy (and non-dairy) treats in flavors running the gamut from “bourbon bourbon vanilla” to “earl grey sriracha.”"

Little Baby’s Ice Cream Shop Review - Fishtown - Philadelphia - The Infatuation

"Flavors here range from somewhat classic (like chocolate salt malt) to borderline ridiculous (Earl Grey sriracha and cucumber dill come to mind), and if you’re feeling especially generous, pre-pay for a scoop on the Pay-It-Forward Board. You can specify the scoop’s recipient in any way you like, so gift one to “anyone named Jake” or “someone having a bad hair day” if you want to make a difference, one ice cream at a time." - Jordan Price

Wow! Unique flavors. A real treat. I had banana chip--non-dairy ice "cream" with banana puree, dried banana chips, and chocolate chips. My friend had peach granola- very peach and crisp with granola. We've been taste testing our way thru ice cream vendors in Philly and this is by far my favorite!!

Extremely friendly staff and fun atmosphere. Thrilling to find a non-dairy source of ice cream at an actual ice cream joint. It was super delicious and tasted as real as true ice cream. I only wish I'd had a better choice of flavors. I understand they can only offer so many in a single day, but there's just so many interesting and wild flavors on their website that I was sort of disappointed in my choices. Still, it was mighty satisfying!

Flavors we're.... Interesting to say the least. It's gourmet ice cream. They had various flavors, the one I got was Bourbon Bourbon vanilla. Great at first. Then had a strong alcohol taste. Their prices were on the high end, for a single (baby) scoop, a milkshake and a double I paid $20. But it is vegan friendly so they said

I love little baby's. They share a building with pizza brain so you can view the pizza museum while enjoying some ice cream or maybe get some pizza with your ice cream! The flavors are unique and delicious, made very well and they offer some delicious vegan options!! The menu changes up so each time I come in I have new options! Or I can order ice cream to go. It's such a cute place I love it and the people are happy which creates a happy environment!

Excellent flavor intensity and texture. Usually only has 6 flavors at a time, but that makes picking one easier. Some off-beat flavors too, pizza ice cream anyone? Haven't tried it yet so no report to make. It's a little pricey but worth trying at least once. And it's good enough to make my BESegal Ice Cream Tour of Philly.

AMAZING ice cream, especially if you are looking for something dairy free. I got the chocolate salt malt which tastes almost like a liquid almond joy. It is made with coconut milk so it definitely has a coconut flavor. My boyfriend got the "plain" flavor which he loved. It tastes like sweet cream, not quite vanilla like we expected. The guy working there was super nice too! The prices are good, $6 for two scoops!

They offer several flavors of vegan ice cream along with the dairy kind and they'll let you sample before order, of course, you should do this. I only liked one of the flavors out of 4 or 5 but the one I liked was very good, creamy and bursting with flavor. I think they have some vegan toppings too. The venue itself is fun and filled with old records, movie posters and other memorabilia all having to do with pizza -- as the ice cream part is connected to the pizza place next door...which also has a vegan pizza!

The best customer service, these people are super friendly and cool (how could you be otherwise at an ice cream shop?). They share a wall with pizza brain, which means you can eat in either establishment. Ice cream flavors you've never heard of, including ones that use ingredients from local places (like the red velvet ice cream). Bourbon vanilla, coconut Chai and tea flavors are awesome. Go there, you won't regret it!
