"This is the preeminent spot to grab a coffee and a sweet treat. Enjoy a classic espresso-based drink or cold brew on tap with the smorgasbord of treats on offer. Little Blue Bakehouse serves as an incubator of sorts for local bakers who rotate in and out. Grab a cookie croissant from Blue Ox Bakery or nibble on a kitchen sink cookie from Yellow Garden Bake Shop chock full of pretzels, peanut butter, and butterscotch chips. Every day is a new adventure for what the resident bakers are dishing out, but there’s never any shortage of scrumptious options on hand." - Elliott Harrell

Google
I wish I could properly articulate how much I LOVE Little Blue Bakehouse. I’ve frequented the Alamo since it opened and have supported this business since they opened as well. Such an incredibly fun and unique idea to basically have a dessert food haul, with several small businesses inside. Not only that but then there’s tons of drinks, and coffee they offer, and don’t even get me started on the monthly drink specials that always blow me away. Just so insanely creative. I have a gluten allergy and I feel very comfortable ordering all the GF options here without concern. Everything is absolutely DELICIOUS. And beautiful! The staff has always been super welcoming and friendly. I will never stop supporting.

Google
Super, super cute cafe with offerings from multiple local bake houses. We tried a few things and they were all good - try the ooey gooey bars! Great atmosphere - would be a fab place to remote work or have a meeting. Lots of coffee offerings as well.

Google
I really love this place. It's such a lovely wholesome concept. The owner hosts a full blast kitchen that local bakers and small baking companies can make use of and sell their own treats and individual display cases unique to each baker. The treats have something for everyone. There's always a gluten-free case. There's always delightful cake and unique pastries. This chocolate cheesecakes stuffed chocolate glazed donut with a cracked chocolate cookie on top is one of the best pastries I've ever had...and I've eaten a LOT of pastries...across four continents...and did a baking class in France. The drinks are delightful and come with such unique, seasonal twists like fruity pebbles latte and vanilla rose chai latte, witches brew iced drink, and monster mash.

Google
I visited recently with my mom for a coffee and sweet treat date and we are IN LOVE!! I am a small baker myself, so my favorite pastime is supporting cute brick and mortar bakeries, so I was so excited to find so many bakers in one place! Everything tasted amazing and looks so good. We will definitely be back!

Google
Cool little bakery- My daughter wanted to try some macaroons for the first time and we decided on this place for the location- These were lovely light and airy macaroons and full of flavor! Sweet but well balanced .. Pistachio & Funfetti were our favorites! But the Double sweet cream Pistachio infused cold brew was a dream 😍 … so glad this is here on the SE

Google
Wonderful bakery where each case is filled by a different baker. Their coffee drinks are fabulous, and every item I have ever tried from any of the cases has been as delicious as it looked! Check this gem out, you will not be disappointed!

Google
I had heard great things about this place and was really looking forward to visiting after completing a 30-day no-sweets challenge. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed. I purchased a chocolate cake donut, a blueberry scone, and a cinnamon roll. All three items were noticeably stale—hard as a rock and clearly not fresh. While the frosting on the donut and cinnamon roll was tasty, it couldn’t make up for the overall poor quality. When I called to express my concerns, I was told that different bakers leave items out for varying lengths of time and that not everything is made fresh daily. However, when I later spoke with the owner, he insisted that everything is made fresh every day. That contradiction was frustrating and felt dishonest. To make matters worse, I was told they couldn’t offer a refund—only a complimentary in-house coffee. I spent nearly $20 on three pastries and left feeling completely let down. For a place with such a strong reputation, this was a huge letdown. Definitely not worth the hype.

Google
I love coming here. The owners Allison and Carl have created such a wonderful spot for different bakers to get exposure and showcase their talents. Having four different bakeries in one is fantastic, so you always have a variety to choose from. The staff is also wonderful and the coffee options are great.

Yelp
We went to the movies this past weekend and saw this place. I couldn't wait to try them and they did not disappoint. I strongly recommend, you try this place. It is off the beaten path and you could easily miss them. Try: Chocolate Peanut Butter cake Lemon Earl Grey Loaf Banana Chocolate Loaf

Yelp
Interesting concept. 4 different small bakers working out of one space. Sweet Nothings is one of the bakers. They are gluten-free and quite tasty for being gluten-free. I have taken photos of each case so you can see what was offered when we visited l. Plenty of indoor tables to sit at.

Amanda G.

Yelp
The service was amazing, the atmosphere was adorable and cozy as well. We absolutely loved the cappuccinos we ordered; however, the pastries we ordered (even after asking for them heated), were cold and hard. One of them even had hair baked into it. So we threw them away and left. Sort of felt disgusted after that. Also sad to see that they do not offer military discount, even on Veterans Day weekend.

Yelp
I'm obsessed with this neighborhood bakery! LBB features a huge case of fresh treats and baked goods from local vendors (Little Blue Macaron, Blue Ox Bakery, Yellow Garden Bake Shop, Gryffin Bakeshop, and Boozie Bakes), as well as a coffee drinks. There's a good amount of vegan options, too--so there really is something for everyone. Plenty of parking is available nearby, and service was quick and friendly.

Joy N.

Yelp
I loveeeeee this place. It is sooo cute and well priced!!! Everyone was nice as could be but the best part was all the delish treats. My fave was yellow garden bake shop!

Marie S.

Yelp
Walking in the bakery/coffee/tea and drinks- it was bright and cheerful. The man behind counter was super friendly and helpful. I got the wine infused chocolate cupcake for my husband and the key lime macron for me. The key lime macron was good not enough key lime flavor for me it was very sweet. They have plenty of choices for coffee and tea drinks. Service was pretty quick.

Vin M.

Yelp
Service was great, the ladies that helped us were very kind and cheerful! I got a bunch of macarons and let me tell you how long I've been on the hunt for an edible one. I've had so many from several different places and nothing has ever come close to being even sub par. Until this place. The burnt butter macaron was absolutely incredible and I could probably eat them till I threw up with zero regrets. The texture was just right, the flavor was amazing, and they were made in house the day prior. Such a wonderful surprise to finally have a good macaron. Thank you for fulfilling my dreams

Kellie R.

Yelp
We always talk about visiting Little Blue Bakehouse when going to Alamo next door. We finally had the opportunity to go (since we usually see movies late) and we're hooked!! The bakery is bright and welcoming with quite a few options from vegan to dairy desserts. I love that you can see the kitchen with the giant windows behind the counter. We sampled a few things, including a vegan donut which was pretty good! Though I'm not vegan, vegan food always tastes good and the donut doesn't disappoint. However, it's the infused lemon cake that was to die for!!! My husband ordered it but naturally, I shared half. We also ordered two matcha lattes and with mine, I added lavender to it. It was phenomenal!! The barista used real matcha for our lattes which was awesome to see. We will be back for more sweet treats!

Kyle V.

Yelp
Amazing bakery with EVERYTHING made in house. We had the mango coconut scone, chocolate donut, and croissant. All high quality and not too sugary. Surprisingly good coffee for being a bakery. Staff was super friendly and helpful. It's a grab and go kinda place as the inside feels very sterile.

Kenisha R.

Yelp
Food 4 Service 4 Ambiance 4 I settled on cupcakes bc I was having a rough day and when I say they hit the spot, oh my they hit the spot. I got the assortment pack with 6 flavors the chocolates, and the lemon raspberry are my top two but honestly, they were all amazing! I can not wait to go back!

George M.

Yelp
Impressive selection of legit good desserts and pastries, friendly staff, and balanced coffee. Wow.

Katie T.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try LBB, specifically Bitten Bakery, for ages. Despite not being far from me, I just now got around to it before hitting a movie at Alamo. It's bright, colorful and open when you go in. There were several employees working so I didn't have to wait to order. Bitten Bakery was a little low on items (which they said was due to a busy weekend, so yay for small business support). I went with a Reese Cup chocolate chip cookie. It was around $5 and delicious! I bet it would be even better warmed in the microwave or toaster oven for a few seconds. Definitely want to return to try one of their coffee drinks and more of the delicious looking desserts like carrot cake and more cookies.

Stephanie J.

Yelp
A visit to Little Blue Bakehouse is a must if you are craving a sweet treat. I like their mission which is to be a stepping stone for small pastry businesses to grow their business. I tried a cupcake with a boozy infusion from Boozie Bakes Cupcakes, macarons from Little Blue Macaron and a seasonal lemonade (this one was watermelon). I really liked the options to choose from and it was all good.

Shannon D.

Yelp
Bitten bakery has the best baked goods here! I want to go back and try the coffee because I've heard it was amazing

Holly K.

Yelp
YES! What an awesome addition to Raleigh!! I was so excited to see this bakehouse come together. I've ordered from Little Blue Macaron and Bold Batch before, now having a brick and mortar to visit is great. Previously I was standing outside in all seasons trying to secure some of that ice cream or rushing for a pickup time for the macarons. I visited this morning and grabbed a cappuccino which was tasty and a slice of lemon loaf. The lemon loaf was good, but I was really hoping one of Bites of Sam's cinnamon rolls would have been in stock. I also couldn't leave without a few macarons. I think if one of the bakers wanted to get behind a few more breakfast style pastries it would be a big win for the space, since they serve coffee and open at 8am. Right now their hours are generally Wednesday-Sunday 8-5pm. My goal is to get back there soon with my son to try out one of the macaron ice cream sandwiches. Parking is super easy! They are located in the far left of the plaza (Alamo is to the far right). Can't wait to visit again soon!

Jenn C.

Yelp
This is hands down my favorite bakery! Every pastry and dessert I've had were amazing and I love the concept of having different upcoming/established bakers in house so to me I feel like I'm giving back to the community. Coffee is great as well. Chocolate cake and a vanilla mocha is my all time favorite treat

Shelby L.

Yelp
Best macarons I've had in Raleogh area. My go to place when that craving hits. They are usually pretty quiet and the place is very clean! Love the lavender latte also.

Stacy P.

Yelp
Amazing establishment. If you ever been to Morgan Street Food Hall and/or Transfer Co, this is on the smaller scale but super cool. Only deserts and coffee sold here. Different bakeries featured. The owners are super nice. They designed this place to allow other bakers a space to sell their products in a retail setting. Service was great! They have drinks of the month. Right now they have this watermelon lemonade which is very refreshing on a hot day! A good amount of seating inside and a few tables outside. If you are in the area or before/after movies at the Alamo stop by. You won't be disappointed.

Maggie L.

Yelp
Little Blue Bakehouse is such a fun bakery/coffee shop!! There are so many options for little treats (definitely recommend the cheddar and chive biscuit or the salted chocolate chip cookie). The service was great and the recommendations given were a huge hit!! Definitely recommend if you're looking to try something new.

Rebecca F.

Yelp
What a charming place! I love that they sell items from so many different bakeries--such a great way to support small businesses. Their coffee is great and the croissant I ordered was the size of a football. The gal working there was super nice and accommodating. I don't even live close to this place, but I will definitely be back!

Anna P.

Yelp
I've ordered ice cream from Bold Batch Creamery and picked up pints at the HHGregg parking lot in Durham a few times so I wanted to show my support and go to their new location at the Little Blue Bakehouse. While I'm sad about not being able to pick up ice cream 10 minutes away anymore, I am very happy for the small businesses for having a brick and mortar location. I had a gift card to use so I ordered a pint of their birthday cake ice cream and got 2 ice cream sammies, snickerdoodle hibiscus and fruity pebbles. I tasted the snickerdoodle hibiscus and it was so good! I love how unique and bold the ice cream flavors are! Definitely way better than normal pints at the grocery store. I also got a half dozen macarons from Little Blue Macaron. I've picked up some macarons that they had stocked at Cha House in Cary before. Macarons are probably my favorite dessert and I love the creativity in the flavors but I wish the fillings were a little less sweet. The texture is perfect which I know can be very difficult to achieve because macarons are so finicky. Lastly, I also ordered a raspberry lemonade and it was so good and refreshing for the last bit of summer. I recommend checking out the Little Blue Bakehouse when you're craving something sweet!

Anissa W.

Yelp
I couldn't wait to try this place. I love cake & saw on Yelp that they have it along with other things. How exciting! They are located right next to the Alamo Drafthouse off of New Bern. It's a cute little shop with multiple small businesses located in one place. How neat! They have macaroons, ice cream, and baked goods included boozy cupcakes. When I went inside, I was greeted by the nicest young lady. I told her it was my first visit, so she took the time to tell me about each business. I was even given a sample of the Lucky Charms ice cream. Yum! I ended up buying a slice of carrot cake, a super thick and rich brownie, and a cinnamon bun. They were all DELICIOUS!! Very tasty and moist. I'm definitely going back soon!

Yelp
The place to satisfy the sweetest tooth. Little Blue Bakehouse sells a variety of baked goods, coffee, and ice cream. I was confused at first viewing the online menu since they serve so many different items. I realized when I got there that it is because they sell products from various companies. The places include Little Blue Macaron, Boozie Bakes, Bold Batch Creamery, Bitten Bakery, and Eat Sweet Repeat. A parking lot is available out front with ample spots. It is in the same plaza as Alamo Drafthouse Cinema. We mainly stopped by for ice cream. Now seeing all the other items, I want to return to try more sweets. It was a little confusing on where to order. I ended up ordering and paying by the cashier. It was a little pricy, but reasonable for the quality and portion size. The Bold Batch Creamery ice cream was amazing. Incredibly well-balanced flavorful creations. We especially liked the lavender burnt honey, ube cheesecake, and strawberry shortcake. My dogs loved their pup cup. Overall great experience and we recommend this bakery to others!

Allison B.

Yelp
Their cookies n cream macaroon is to die for. Amazing. Their coffee is okay. I got the lavender latte. Didn't taste too lavender. And it's a small coffee for the price you pay.

Claire T.

Yelp
I love local cafes and bakeries, so when I learned of this one I had to try it! I went with my husband and son. I ordered the lavender latte and my son requested the cherry blossom ice tea. I also ordered a cheddar chive bread (looked and tasted like a scone), which was tasty. The lavender latte was excellent - just the right amount of sweetness and temperature. My son, likewise said that his ice tea was good. They also had a nice selection of other baked goods like cookies, brownies, cake slices, and macarons - all which are freshly made. I will definitely return so I can try all of their desserts.

Silver R.

Yelp
It's so nice to have another bakery in the triangle and I love the idea of letting bakers claim places in the kitchen and cycle out as they become more independent! The staff/bakers are always incredibly friendly and they've even sponsored some events like PoeFest! Some of the pastries there can be touch and go as so many people who work there have different baking styles but for the most part everything there is high quality and yummy. My personal favorite baker right now is the Blue Ox. Check this place out! (There's a discount for on drinks for Enloe students as well)

Susan P.

Yelp
Iced chai and salted chocolate chip cookie were delicious but a tad overpriced at over $7 for a tiny iced chai and $5 for a single cookie

Amanda K.

Yelp
I wanna start by saying that this place had the most welcoming vibe imaginable. I came in and was greeted so kindly and the nice lady gave me a little rundown of the place. If you don't know, it's one big storefront with multiple small business bakeries inside. They have ice cream with amazing flavors. I tried their special cheddar cheese ice cream and it was so weird but good somehow. They're more safe flavors we're delicious too - they gave us so many samples! Next are the boozy cupcakes. Those were pretty dang good. Moist and great flavor. If you had one and didn't know there was alcohol in there, you might think it tastes a little off, but it was still really good. I love the the little shooters too!! I'm not an alcohol person but my friend enjoyed them. I didn't get a picture but I got a spinach feta scone from the next bakery. It was pretty decent. The texture was not perfectly scone texture, but the flavor was there. Lastly, I got a slice of vanilla raspberry cake. This was the most disappointing in my opinion. The cake was dry and I wasn't vibing with the flavor at all. It makes me really sad to say anything negative because of how well I was treated in there, but I would love to go back and try a different cake flavor. Lastly, they have coffee, tea, and kombucha. I didn't get any of that but they had nice seasonal flavors. Definitely try this place.

Melanie W.

Yelp
All my favorite dessert places in one spot? Yes please! If you've been following Bold Batch Creamery and Bitten Bakery since their start, you will know that pickups involved driving to a South Raleigh parking lot during a tight window to pick up cookies and the best dang ice cream in Raleigh. This was fine during the early days of the pandemic, but it's amazing to not have to plan my schedule around dessert pickups. The best part is having a place to enjoy them with a cup of coffee and check out other vendors like Boozy Bakeshop and Little Blue Macaron too. The space is bright, inviting, and a cool place to hang out. This is such a welcome addition to Raleigh. It's a great place for new businesses to utilize a commercial kitchen and sell their wares to new customers too.

Tiffany D.

Yelp
Have been waiting to try this as I've previously had Bites of Sam and Bold Batch before. I must say, that I was pretty underwhelmed by the options available and the overall look. Nothing really grabbed my attention as far as things to try. We decided on macarons, and there were good options for those, but many fell short in taste. Hopefully they will be very successful, but the location is not the greatest IMO.

Joyce R.

Yelp
Variety is the sweet spot in this quiet little nook! There are so many desserts to choose from and they're from different bakeries. Try the lavender lattes and choose a sweet treat like a macaron or a slice banana nut bread. The selections may change, but never disappoints!

Dawson H.

Yelp
Delicious coffee, especially the cold brew. The staff was super nice and did a great job of explaining the concept. The macaroons are incredible, better than ones I have had in Paris.

Shanora K.

Yelp
Great selection of goods made to order all from local vendors. #shoplocal The service was great and very patient and helpful. Cute shop with free wifi and lots of seating for groups or individuals. Will come again!

Ron P.

Yelp
I love the concept of the Little Blue Bakehouse as a dessert food hall consisting of five different small businesses. I went there for the Bites of Sam cookies, which are large, soft, and delicious, and used to be so hard to get when they were only sold online (as they are the best cookies I have ever eaten). My favorites are the blueberry lemon and salted caramel chocolate chip but they change the flavors quite frequently. I also ended up having breakfast there, enjoying a great piece of Sam's glazed lemon loaf and a coffee. On the way out, I bought some macarons from Little Blue Macaron, which were even better than I had imagined when I read about them in the Foodie News on WRAL.com. Highly recommend this place as an up and coming destination for meeting friends before or after a movie or a casual coffee and cinnamon roll in the morning. Heck, they also sell hand crafted ice cream. Everything under one roof! How can you go wrong?

Karen M.

Yelp
Lived up to all I've heard about the different options of desserts available. And the macarons, none compare, an incredible selection of exotic flavors. Definitely try the lavendar! It will not disappoint.

Katie C.

Yelp
Amazing everything! The macarons are my favorite and I love the special drops they do for holidays. Can't wait for my next custom order! The dirty filthy nasty x-tina Chai is the best in town.

Nancy S.

Yelp
If you're gluten free like me and missing the gooey goodness of an Oatmeal creme pie cookie, look no further. Bites of Sam has you covered. They not only make a delicious GF creme pie cookie but add apple pie filling in the middle to compliment the decadence! Enjoy!

Sally C.

Yelp
Was in the neighborhood and popped in looking for a sticky bun which sadly they didn't have today. I got a chocolate raspberry cookie as a replacement and what a treat!!! This was the best sweet treat I've had in awhile. Divine blend of chocolate and raspberry without just tasting like sugar. So good. Perfect start to my Friday!!

Christine B.

Yelp
We tried the macaroons- too sweet for us. Couldn't even finish. Also tried a cupcake. Very Tasty! Selection was interesting. Cakes Scones Ice cream and macaroons. Service was friendly. Decor was cold.

Nicole L.

Yelp
So many choices and unique yummy goodies to choose from. I are from 3/5 bakeries within this bakery so I will be back to try the other two. Excellent service

jamie l.

Yelp
'You Had Me at Bourbon Chocolate', and they certainly did. Words fail me. Probably the best cupcake I've ever eaten.

Nan N.

Yelp
I came across this bakery while driving to purchase a desk for my mom. While the customer service was great, I was not empress with the oreo cookie that I purchased. It had to much sugar and the cheese biscuit was not bad. The coffee was a little bitter. For the price I paid it was not worth it. So far the only bakery in this area that I found to be good is Cake Town in Knightdale, NC. When you move from an area that you have a good selection of bakeries it hard to found one you really like.

Angela B.

Yelp
Fantastic cappuccino and cookies! Fast and friendly service; and very clean! Great parking.

Brittany P.

Yelp
I love this place! I brought my nephews here for a treat and we tried the cake, ice cream and macarons. The macarons were the best! The flavors were unique and designs were creative. I also learned they do custom/catering orders for macrons...will definitely order some soon!

Emily B.

Yelp
REALLY good latte, friendly staff. They were out of the cranberry Orange scones when I went in, but I look forward to trying one!

Cherihan L.

Yelp
My hands down favorite sweet shop! So fun to pick from such a delicious and unique variety of treats- you can tell all of the vendors are so passionate about their creations. The macarons always steal the show for me, I love the texture, flavors, and how adorable they are! Just typing this out I'm getting a serious craving- going to have to work in a stop by the Bakehouse tomorrow! Need my macaron fix! Always highly recommend!!
