During my recent business trip, I stayed at the Thompson Hotel and had breakfast at their on-site restaurant with my colleague. The experience was simply fantastic from start to finish.
I ordered the smoked salmon eggs Benedict, which came with silky poached eggs topped with a rich, vibrant hollandaise sauce, served over smoked salmon and fresh greens. On the side were perfectly crisp roasted potatoes with diced peppers—golden on the outside, tender on the inside. My colleague had fluffy scrambled eggs, savory breakfast sausages, crispy potatoes, toast, and two flavorful sauces that paired beautifully with the meal. Everything was fresh, well-seasoned, and plated with care. The coffee was smooth, hot, and the perfect complement to the breakfast.
The restaurant itself had a warm, inviting atmosphere, and the service was attentive and efficient. It was the kind of breakfast that leaves you satisfied but still thinking about it hours later.
If you’re staying at the Thompson—or even if you’re just in the area—this is a breakfast spot worth making time for.
