Little Dipper

Really really cool speakeasy tucked away with a surprise burlesque dancer (the dancer was amazing, friendly, interactive and funny too). The place is a little tricky to find but hey, it's suppose to be a speakeasy anyway! It's a very intimate and cosy spot. The service is stellar, the drinks are all so creative and delicious and strong! Overall a very fun place to go with a close friend to yap or a date.

This place was a true gem! We loved the cocktails—they were high quality and thoughtfully crafted. Sitting at the bar made the experience even better; the bartender was a total vibe and really elevated the night. We didn’t have a reservation but were lucky enough to grab seats at the bar, and we ended up staying the whole evening. Next time, we’re definitely making a reservation to lock it in. We ordered food a bit last-minute. The fried chicken and caviar sounded exciting but didn’t quite live up to the price. That said, my friend really enjoyed the eggplant toast. All in all, we had a great time and would absolutely come back!

This spot is really cute, but VERY small inside. It’s also very easy to walk right past it, there’s no sign at street level. There’s also no phone number to call if you’re running late (we got caught in torrential rain). Thankfully they had no issue with us being 15 minutes late. The bartender was very nice & his service was great! There was a bouncer who gave us confusing directions from street level to get inside, it’s basically like a speakeasy. The drink selection is very cool in theory based on zodiac signs, but they’re not exactly what you’d expect. The bartender warned that the Aries drink was more like an old fashioned (good save from him), so we got the drink that read on paper like an espresso martini, but didn’t actually taste like one. It tasted like a raspberry martini with a pinch of espresso — good!! But not what we expected at all; the videos on TikTok make it look different. Worth experiencing though!! Very limited food menu, more just a spot for drinks.

Super cute vibes!! Shoutout to the bartender! Loved the decor and theme of the place. Pretty cozy and yummy drinks (a little strong for my taste). Definitely make a reservation!! We got lucky and secured seats, but had to stand at bar for a bit. Cool place to check out at least once :)

The drinks and the atmosphere are worth the price ✨ ! The food appetizers were okay, a bit plain and a bit small for the prices they were asking. Overall I had a great time. But I am curious as to how their omakase is! I’ll definitely be back!

Friday night, I had the pleasure of visiting an astrology-themed speakeasy where drinks and food are curated to match your zodiac sign. Since it’s my birthday weekend, I went with “The Devil,” the signature drink for Capricorns (Earth Sign). The space is cozy and intimate, so reservations are a must—but huge thanks to The Little Dipper for making it happen!

Meg and Chris were incredibly attentive without being overbearing and deeply charming. The drinks were delicious and they were more than happy to accompany cocktail recipes to adjust for preferred liquor. There was a private party so we didn't get to explore the bar properly but the lower area was very charming and comfortable. If you get cold easily, do bring a jacket though. Will definitely return for the delicious drinks including the spicy peach Sagittarius drink.

I don't usually do reviews (I should!) but highly recommend this place. I have been to a ton of bars in and NYC and this might make it to the top 3 best cocktails, not just in presentation but in taste and layers of flavors. Service was a bit slow, but overall still 10/10 for the vibe and drinks.

I recently visited the astrology-themed bar on 35 W 30th Street in NYC, and it was an out-of-this-world experience! From the moment I walked in, I was captivated by the cosmic decor and ambient lighting that perfectly set the mood for a night of celestial adventure. The bartenders were not only skilled mixologist. The bar's interior is a true homage to the zodiac, with each section themed around different astrological signs. The ingredients were fresh, and the drinks had a perfect balance of flavors that reflected the characteristics of the respective signs.

**Do not recommend** Wish I would have read the reviews in advance. I tried to give this place the benefit of the doubt, but these are some of the worst drinks I've ever had. The ambiance is also very strange combination of music (there's also no connection). For drinks we had the Balance (which had whipped cream and tastes like cough medicine) and Grounded (tastes like a smokey weird meaty flavor) which was recommended by our waiter. We also had welcome shots which taste like I accidentally consumed perfume. Service seemed nice initially with welcome shots, however pretty sure our waiter could tell how bad the drinks are because he didn't return to ask how we're doing at all (like the other two tables next to us). Cute for photos at best, but not worth it, would not recommend or return (would actively discourage visiting unless you're already drunk and have lost your tastebuds)

Food/Drinks: 3/5 The drinks are YUMMY! It's so cute how the drinks are themed around the different signs. They're beautiful and delicious. We had the Leo and Sagittarius drinks! Leo was the best :-) Now the food...I'd say slightly above mid! We had the BBQ Oysters - oysters were delicious but nothing special. The sauce is really what set this apart and adds a nice kick! We also shared the nuggets and caviar, again a similar theme. The nuggets weren't special, similar to chick fix a vibes. I've new had caviar so I have no comparison but it paired nicely with the nuggets. Lastly, we tried the hand rolls. Overall, the food felt slightly overpriced for something that's pretty basic. It is definitely an apps and small bites vibe. Service: 4/5 Our server was very kind! Everyone is very welcoming and we had the chance to talk to one of the bartenders at the end of the night who was literally the BEST! They really make you feel cared for here and go above and beyond. We were also late to our reservation but they were very accommodating. They do not play about the 90 minutes though lol. On the dot, they'll let you know your time is up. Vibe: 5/5 I walked past this place initially and didn't realize it was literally "inside" or I guess below lmao the Courtyard New York Manhattan/Chelsea. As soon as you walk in, you're instantly greeted with glow in the dark signs and you feel like you're about to be transported to a different realm. The interior Is beautiful! From the cozy blue chairs to the starry atmosphere inside. This place is picture perfect. It's a pretty quaint spot which makes it feel like a cozy astrological den. I would definitely come back but eat before + just get drinks! :)

I flew into the Little Dipper for the first time for a cocktail with a friend . It's a little tricky to find but hey, it's outer space! The decor is certainly of cosmic proportions , cosy, dim and with subtle tunes in the background. The service is stellar and the cocktails are out of this world haha . I had the MAGIC which was truly spectacular! Highly recommended

This place is to the right of Goldie's, fyi! We got the Sagittarius, Leo, and Aquarius cocktails. Btw, they give you a round of complimentary shochu shots to start-which is always a plus!

I saw the ads on TikTok and was super excited to try this out. Made a reservation for six of my friends and we were all hyped. Unfortunately, it fell short of expectations. To be clear, it's in its soft opening and not totally ready. There's only five cocktails on the menu - options are limited compared to what's listed on the website. And the drinks...need some work. While I applaud their desire to be experimental, most did not meet the mark. The Pisces cocktail tasted like nothing, the Taurus cocktail tasted like pure Mezcal, and the Libra cocktail tasted like cough syrup. The Leo drink tasted fine, at least. The uni tots are good, but it does seem like odd combo. There was a sushi chef available for rolls, which is great. Unfortunately, we were most excited for the tarot card reader that the ads had, but no one was available for that last night. I want to be clear - the service was lovely and we had no issue with our servers. And we really, really want this idea to succeed! It has a lot of potential and I love the idea of an astrology lounge. But it definitely needs to improve if it wants to stay competitive.

My friend had heard about this place and wanted to check it out. Unfortunately, we didn't make a reservation (but if we go back, we will certainly make one as it's the type of cocktail bar you'll need one). Luckily, we were able to get seats at a table tucked away by the bar. The service was very good, and the space was lovely with a beautiful night sky painted onto the ceiling, but the drinks fell flat for me. My friend and I each ordered a drink; she ordered the balance which she liked and I got the magic, which was ok but definitely fell flat and just felt like it was missing something. I think it's a cute concept for a bar, but I don't know that I would come back again.

I came for the soft opening as a guest of a friend and let me tell you, I can't wait to come back! This cocktail bar is astrology themed where they have 12 cocktails for each zodiac. You walk into the space and it's already such a vibe. The ceiling is made so that you feel like you're under the night sky as if you're about to go star gazing. Unfortunately they only had 5 cocktails when they first opened (but they did say full menu roll out was the following week), so I can't wait to come back and try the other cocktails, especially the Cancer, because you know, that's what I am! The bites were perfect, which I must say, the Uni Tots totally blew me away! They were sooooo delicious!!!! The tuna caviar was perfect and so fresh! I kinda wish it came with chips or something but just alone you could taste the freshness. I also tried the fried chicken bites that came with a delicious dip with caviar! Perfect to snack on while you sip away as well. They had a palm/tarot card reader which was so cool tooo!!! For the soft opening there was a hand roll bar, which I'm not sure if that will be permanent, but for larger parties they will offer omakase which I found mind blowing, because the hand rolls themselves were perfection too. Definitely coming back soon for the full experience!!

The service was great, the cocktails were good as well. The only thing I feel they should work on is the food options.

This is a must visit place for star lovers and star sign lovers alike! It's pricey so suggest you visit for a special occasion and make an RSVP. Tucked away discreetly between tall buildings and a hotel, you'll be drawn in by the neon paint outer world mural leading your eye down the stairs. The decor is kitschy and whimsical celestial on the outside and transitions into gorgeously posh on the inside. It's a very tiny space with an intimate feeling and even has an all gender bathroom. This is not the place for kids, dogs, patrons with mobility concerns, or people with intense food allergies. This is the place for really delicious horoscope cocktails and classy light bites from the bar. My fatty tuna truffle hand-roll was so exquisite, I ordered double! Which really hurt my bank account but delight gave my mouth food orgasms so I think it was the right life choice! We also had the super fancy caviar french onion dip with chicken bits and the vegetarian roasted eggplant toast. We ordered the Leo and Cancer cocktails. I am biased but I think the Cancer cocktail was superior! July babies represent! ;)

I must say I love this place. Excellent service excellent food perfect ambience. I am still craving their amazing food. I highly recommend this place.

Took my daughter out to celebrate her going off to college. Also brought my younger daughter, who they were so kind to. The food was great, service impeccable and everyone's energy was amazing. She even gave my daughter a gift to celebrate her achievement. Beautiful restaurant ran by beautiful people. Loved it!!!!

Completely incognito, but fabulous! Great food, service and vibe. Had margaritas and they were some of the best I've ever had, with a smoky salty quality. Not on the menu but the waitstaff were flexible, so all the more to go here!

Drinks were offensively gross. Bar tenders seem new to making cocktails, and atmosphere is not enough of a gimmick to distract from bad drinks.

We had such a good time and the cocktails were DELICIOUS. Can't wait to come back here again. Brandon is an amazing bartender and makes the silliest shots... but they are actually quite sophisticated

So different in the best way. If you're looking for some seriously Instagram worthy pictures , great vibe, music, and bites this is it. Loveddd the astrology idea there's nothing else out there like it. Cocktails were so delicious loved the Taurus cocktail and the little tidbit about each horoscope. But what I loved the most is you feel warped into another world under this crazy ceiling that looks like you're staring out to the galaxy the whole night. Every detail is insane.

really great staff - everyone was so kind. i wish it wasn't so expensive but i love the concept. we got drinks but no food. if the food was even a few dollars cheaper i would've considered it more. drinks were okay and maybe will be back once they roll out the full drink menu but there are mannnnyyy places they need to compete with in NYC and hope they step up the game a little! the inside was cute and the place is aesthetic but def not as vibey as advertised.

I was not crazy impressed with the drinks here but see the intent. We didn't get any food but thought the hand roll service was a cool/nice touch. The service was good, the ambiance is really what folks visit for. Very interesting and fun concept, worthwhile to try a couple interesting drinks.

Spontaneously stopped by with my girlfriend and was so happy we did! The atmosphere and vibes were truly great. I loved how thought out it was and the concept! Brandon made the experience 10000% better. Cocktails were not only beautiful but so aromatic and unique. Definitely recommend for an intimate yet fun experience!

I came in for the weekend to visit my best friend in NYC and we went to this hidden gem and had an amazing experience! Great cocktails thanks to our amazing bartender Brandon. He was really great and made our experience even more memorable!! The starry ceiling is very unique and extravagant! Great vibes all around :)
