The 38 Essential Dublin Restaurants

"At the sister restaurant to Ryon Wen and Ian Keegan’s equally good Hakkahan in Stoneybatter and more upscale Nan nearby, spring for the plate with one of each dumpling on the menu. If you’re going full-in, order the smashed cucumber, prawn toast, and black fungus salad, and ask for the secret Little Sichuan menu with nose-to-tail dishes like steamed chicken claws and garlic ribs." - Corinna Hardgrave

This place offers really good food for a fair price. The dumplings are delicious, flavorfull and bigger then in other Restaurants. Great value for Money. The other dishes I had were also really good. In my opinion, the Ji Gong Bao Chicken could even be shared by two people and when each Person has their own Bowl of rice be full for under 12 bucks per Person (as of time of writing) which is Not only delicious but also not expensive. Staff was super nice and forthcoming. Really good food. Only downside is that the Location itsself is not as nice as competitors nearby, but that is not stopping me from coming here over any other chinese Restaurants ANY DAY!

Great flavour! The fries were McDonald's-esque, and there was a lot of chicken underneath. (Although pricier, I prefer it over the one at Xi'An) Their pot stickers on the other hand were pretty, but not crispy nor soupy

This restaurant was delicious and affordable! I ordered the chicken dumplings in the house satay, the beef dumplings with teriyaki sauce, and a side of fried rice. The dumplings were so good, especially the chicken, we loved the sauce! I will definitely be coming back soon and can’t wait to try a new dish next time.

Loved the sesame chicken, and fried noodles. The beef dumplings were very good as well. A great find for anyone looking for great dumplings and more

Really nice restaurant. The food is really good, I ordered beef dumplings and smashed cucumbers. When I sat down I had to wait a bit to get a menu but it was very noce that I got a glass of water before ordering without asking.

One of my favorite Chinese restaurants in Dublin. I went there many times for my always comfort food, La Zi Ji (crispy fried chicken with dried chicken) and Suan Cai Yu (boiled cod fish with pickles soup). The foods are always amazing with reasonable price. I haven’t really tried other menus, because these 2 menus always amaze me, but I heard that other dishes are amazing as well. Also the staffs were so nice, friendly and welcoming, unlike some other Chinese restaurants I went in Dublin, where they just wanted you to eat and leave. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough 😊

Did not expect much when we entered the restaurant. The foods were very good on the other hand. I did not expect such a strong mala seasoning with Sichuan pepper in Dublin, which was pleasant surprises. A couple of staffs had their meal near us while we stayed, but no hassle. Considering it was Friday evening, noises and crowdness was bearable. Will we visit this restaurant in our next visit to Dublin? Yes, one of the top candidates if we had enough Irish cuisines.

food was good and well priced and when we went they had a free side dish for a main course deal which was very ideal. dumplings were a little small and only a little warm but other than that portion size was great.
