The Little French bakery lives up to its name entirely! Although it is small with bakery style counters, the quality of the food is 5 star or even more and lives up to the reputation of calling itself French !! They do not serve coffee and don’t have sitting space inside. However it is located next to a coffee shop that allows you to buy food from this bakery and relax with their coffee in a great ambiance. So it makes the perfect breakfast or just having a good time at anytime. Great even if you want to pick up the food and enjoy it at the beach close by. This bakery is highly recommended and I will be back to try more items there. The team is very nice and polite too.

After having been here now many many times, I can confidently say it s the best bakery I ve been to in LA. Much better than republic, or nearby sweat wheat, or anything i ve randomly tried that was not worth remembering. 2nd of 3rd best croissants in the US that I ve had (upper crust in Gainesville and Leo s bread in new orleans if curious). Location is great as close to the beach, in a nice walkable area. Not over commercialized, looks over quality store. It s a simple small store putting out great pastries. The stuffed croissants are very good. Passion fruit and lemon one are my favorite. Haven't tried their sandwiches yet but on paper they look good. The kouign Amman however, absolute masterpiece. The edges are so crispy without being hard to chew, yet the center so moist, filled with nutella at the perfect viscosity. Great flavor.

After once stumbled upon Little French Bakery while visiting Redondo Beach, I keep thinking of their delicious croissants. This small bakery is a bit hard to notice, and even when you are inside, it doesn't have any dazzling decor or display, but one bite is enough to convince you to come back. I indeed came back again, from Hollywood! So far I had a plain butter croissant, two specials of the weekend, raspberry and pistachio. The texture is excellent, with beautiful layers, flaky crust, and a firm bottom. The fillings for the specials are generous, pretty, and flavorful. Eating these croissants is really a full sensory experience.

Well, I had some high hopes for this place, but, unfortunately it just didn't deliver. We tried 3 different pastries to get a feel for the place, but all were just not up to snuff. Not sure if it was the weather that day or not using the right butter or what? The location was fine and service left nothing to complain about, we just didn't think the Viennoiseries were anything worth returning for. In the past month, I've had croissants at both CAR in Pasadena & Le Marais in Mill Valley and both left a better impression. It's a cute little place and they have a few parking spaces out front, so if it's on your way and you're not too picky about your croissants feel free to check it out. P.S. also, they don't serve any coffee, which wouldn't be a deal breaker if the pastries were outstanding, but I found a bit odd. There is a cafe right next store that acts as a kind of "sister" establishment of sorts as customers bring their pastries there, and sit at the tables outside, etc...

The passion fruit brioche was sweetly satisfying. Bread was fresh and fluffy to the bite. Everything tasted fresh baked.

Really good. So far I've tried two different kinds of cake, a pear almond pastry, and a ham and egg breakfast sandwich. Liked them all. Will go again.
