"Little French Bakery chef and owner Guillaume Sabbadin worked at Michelin-starred restaurants in France before moving to Los Angeles in 2001, working as a chef at Figaro Cafe and Crustacean for nearly two decades. In 2020, he opened this diminutive but mighty bakery and cafe with his wife, Deborah, in bustling Redondo Beach, expanding its items throughout the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, and now offers cases full of pastries, cakes, breads, and more. Make sure to try the buttery croissants and superb baguette sandwiches filled with mozzarella and tomato, or ham and Swiss cheese, all of which work as terrific fuel pre- or post-hike in nearby trails in Palos Verdes." - Rebecca Roland
