Amazing service with a very flexible and kind waiter. I believe his name was Gavin. Super helpful and patient with our large party. On the other hand, the pizza was pretty average. We got a half sausage and half cheese pizza and a pepperoni pizza. They weren’t bad, but nothing was very flavorful. The salad wasn’t too great either. Not a lot of toppings and definitely not enough dressing. Unfortunately, I would not recommend coming here. I believe there are better pizzas in the area.

We’ve been coming to Little Italian for years and years. It’s our favorite place for pizza. We love the thin crust, but they also have deep dish for those who love that. Ordering online is always easy and our pizza is always ready when they say it will be.

Google
We have ordered pizza from Little Italian for many, many years. It is consistently good. We order thin crust with cheese, cheese and sausage, and veggies of mushroom-onion-green pepper. Topping are fresh and generous.

Google
Overall the food was good. They have Gluten Free 12" Pizzas ($16-17) which are good but pricey. If you like a thicker crust get the house crust. The service was quite bad overall with a couple bright spots. When we arrived we were the only ones in the dining area. By the time we left it was full. It's a smaller dining area than most restaurants but the waitress was pretty much non-existent. Drinks ran dry and she messed up an appetizer order. I chalk it up to being young and inexperienced..A lady from the back area, maybe the bar area came around to help and was fantastic. The parking lot is terrible and gets crazy full Friday nights so park in the second row or further if you don't want to feel like you're leaving a concert after dinner. Overall 7/10.

Google
They have an amazing thin crust pizza! When we lived in Naperville, this was our go to place for thin crust pizza. We moved away about 8 years ago and went there because we were in the area. The pizza was fantastic! They remodeled the place so it looks very clean and welcoming. The staff was super friendly and we had an enjoyable dining experience. Definitely recommend it!

Google
We absolutely love this place. They have good pizza, the absolute best chicken wings, and great adult beverage specials daily. The atmosphere is cozy and casual. It's incredibly kid-friendly; one of the few places I feel my children can actually be themselves at. But the best part of the place is the service and staff. it begins with a fantastic manager, PJ. He always makes sure every customer is satisfied, and is incredibly dedicated to supporting local schools and the community. Our two favorite servers are Gavin, and Jess. They are incredibly prompt, kind, and accommodating. My favorite thing is how they treat my children. They always make them feel happy and comfortable, which makes our night stress-free. Little Italian is also the best place to go for large parties and group gathering. They are incredibly accommodating, and can almost always offer you the space, even on relatively short notice. Once the bartender was our server, and delivered the same extraordinary customer experience, also paying special attention to my children, making our night fantastic and stress free.

Google
The best pizza I have ever eaten! Lots of choices. Great ingredients. I wish they had a closer location to me.

Google
i’m a harsh rater. 5 stars is Ritz-Carlton level, more or less perfection. Little Italian is remarkably consistent in a GOOD way. pizza and lasagna are always so fresh, hot, tasty. the price to quality value is excellent. i love their weekly coupons (via text). we are long time customers and plan on staying that way!

Yelp
We just moved to the area and searched for most loved local pizza. This popped up and IT MUST BE RIGHT. Such great pizza. The toppings are fresh, crispy thin crust, great prices.

Yelp
Pizza is fantastic. Some of the best I have ever eaten. Highly recommend this place. It hits the spot every time.

Yelp
Food was excellent service was great. Our server Gavin was on the ball getting me a new beverage even before mine was empty. Had the hot wings and the special spaghetti and meatballs. All was delicious. Highly recommended giving this place a try

Yelp
They know how to do a well done pizza. Sausage garlic for the win! The little bar inside is the place to eat and enjoy the za!

Yelp
This place has been our go to for the last 14 yrs since we moved to Naperville. Very fresh ingredients and amazing cheese. Lately, they've been adding ground pepper to their pizza however, and now I have to remember to tell them not to pepper my pie. Also, their price has gone up. So, what used to be a weekly treat is more of a once a month splurge $40 xlarge pepperoni, mushroom, pepper and onion delivered plus I usually tip another $10, so it's a $50 purchase (the delivery charge is $3.50). Still my fav tho. You just can't beat the freshness and their delivery people are awesome.

Yelp
Left a great review before I'll never go back. I even ask the server if he would eat that pizza he said no a big giant slop after waiting over an hour for what a disappointment. Never going back

Yelp
Hubby got the brilliant idea to come back to his old time favorite pizza place in south Naperville. It is just a tiny restaurant with a carry out side just for pizza. On the way out we saw they had a bar tucked in the middle. Not quite sure how you got in there but I'm sure we overlooked it. Every bite my hubby was flashing back to his youth it was pretty funny! Their pizza was very, very good. Thin, crisp crust, great sauce. Great cheese ratio good spices! We had their meatballs appetizer- very yummy! We split a Caesar salad and the shaved Parmesan cheese on-top was fantastic. Next time I want to try one of their pastas. They have a full menu including Arancini balls, lemon chicken pasta, and freshly made cannolis and tiramisu. Very nice surprise definitely a little hidden gem!!

Yelp
Is Little Italian a chain? There was one in Glen Ellyn in the '70s/'80s. It was great, and what prompted me to try out your place.I am so glad I did! Your thin crust is the best of the best. Speaking as a west suburban guy, I'm saying better than Malnati's, Giordano's, Pal Joey's, Beggar's, Rosati's, Aurelios, Maciano's Nancy's, Connie's and even Barones! Thanks for the wonderful pie guys, and remember; keep the crust side down!

Yelp
Pizza is great . The crust is normal not too doughy not too thin just perfect. They also have great salads. Just a great experience.

Erik J.

Yelp
Little Italian pizza is one of best. Always on my restaurant list when I'm in Naperville.

Yelp
One of my favorites for pizza for literally decades. Too bad it's a bit of a drive to get there. Only complaint is that they occasionally close the dining room in a Friday or Saturday night for a private event; we usually call first to make sure they're open.
google avatar

Yelp
I love little Italian! Definitely a staple in my house and our regular pizza spot. I'd recommend getting their extra thin pizza! They also offer sandwiches which are a good option as well. If you're looking for something quick, they always have slices of cheese, pepperoni, and sausage available. The bar is divey, the bartenders are always friendly and personable. It's clean and well kept. Pricing is very fair and they have daily specials on drinks! Looking forward to my next visit.

Yelp
New ownership - new and not improved recipe. Old recipe/preparation was a 4.5 star. This is generic pizza at a premium price. Crust was chewy/doughy and not fully done. Sauce was curiously neutral. Cheese was somewhat stiff and pulled off the top in an extended piece while eating. I usually don't leave uneaten crust, but there was so much I left half a plate full. This was a make do dinner on a busy night before Thanksgiving. I'd have preferred a decent frozen pizza at a fraction of the cost, and definitely miss the old Little Italian recipe and preparation of not so long ago. One last thing -- the $5 individual salad is about half the size it previously was -- should be labeled as a "side salad."

Cassidy C.

Yelp
I've been going to this location for almost 30 years and even though I don't live close anymore, I willingly drive 30+ mins out of my way to still have my favorite pizza place. They have more than just pizza too, they also have great pasta and salad options- I highly recommend the chicken parmesan. If you don't want to take it to go, they have a super cute sit down restaurant available as well. The service is always great, usually high school kids, but they do a good job. Pricing is the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5. It is a little more on the pricey side but every now and then it's worth the treat. Don't forget the desserts too! The tiramisu is delicious.

Yelp
10/10 the best local pizza spot. The crust is so perfectly crispy but soft and the sauce is delicious. Perfect blend of cheese, whether it's the deep dish or the thin crust you cannot go wrong. We always order the spicy curly fries too, they are so yummy!

Yelp
Always my go to pizza place. Love sitting at the bar. Love getting takeout, the pizza is incredible. Highly recommend.

Yelp
I ordered a small deep dish pizza and tomato soup for carry out. The food was reasonably priced and generously portioned. My favorite deep dish is Giordano's, so that's my benchmark. Little Italian's deep dish is not quite as good, but not bad. The pizza was nice and cheesy, with plenty of toppings. The sauce was just a tad sparse. The crust was nice and flaky, although my wife said it was slightly undercooked in her slice (mine was perfectly fine). My only complaint is that the pizza was slightly lacking in flavor. I think I'd like the cheese to be more salty. Very good overall. The soup was thick and creamy, but different than any other tomato soup I've had. It was orange in color and tasted cheesy. Not bad, just different.

Yelp
Always good food, always good service...been ordering for 20 years now, and really have had no issues..good solid place.

Yelp
When my family and I moved to this neighborhood 4 years ago, we immediately began looking for a good local place to support our pizza addiction. We got beyond lucky to have found one of the finest pizza places in Chicagoland. Perfect crust, excellent sauce, great toppings and quality from top to bottom. Little Italian knows exactly what they're doing, and they do it well.

Yelp
Every thing was excellent good Chicago style pizza they offer thin ,med, extra crust amazing prices for great food

Yelp
A great place to dine . The best pie anywhere, 3 different crust choices. Nice bar very friendly Staff ,well priced food alcohol is very inexpensive for the quality. This establishment is customer, friendly and caring, the owners and the customers go beyond. They need to give us another 50 years

Yelp
Paid this establishment a visit the other day and ordered their sausage and mushroom pizza on the X thin pizza crust with the cheese being cooked to a golden brown. Each piece was like a slice of heaven, OMG, was this exceptionally good. I dont want to forget to mention the ingredients on the pizza, no skimping what so ever. I just wish they would deliver a little further west in Naperville. I may have to see if they would meet somewhere within their delivery zone. Oh one last note, I joined their rewards program, figuring I'd be back.

Yelp
Hosted an event for Mark Carroll for Congress here! It was quaint with good service and tasty pizza!

Yelp
Great pizza and wings..... service is good .... But check your order before you leave... have gotten home a couple times without everything we ordered.

Yelp
Best pizza ever. 7 years ago we moved to SoCal. No good pizza there anywhere! We miss this place SO much!!!

Yelp
Tried to order for Restaurant Week where the advertisement offers $20.20 for XL 2 topping pizza. I wanted 2 toppings on 1/2 and just cheese on the other half. They said I couldn't do that because it had to be 2 full toppings. I explained that I'd be paying for 2 full toppings with the $20.20 deal, but only receiving 1 full topping. Manager said it's a % off coupon for the regular price of 2 toppings (even though that's not what the ad says) and wouldn't do the deal- instead offered that we could pay $23 for 1 full topping....how does that make sense?!? Also ordered online a few weeks ago, went to pick up the pizza 30 minutes later as the online order said, but they hadn't even started making it when we got there because they "don't ever check the online order" according to the employee. We've been going there for years but after the last few orders not being very good and all the hassle, it looks like we will be finding a new favorite pizza place to order from!

Yelp
Sorely disappointed. We had high hopes based on reviews. So we visited this place for the first time today. The wait for food is long. We ordered wings, salad, a burger and a medium pizza. The wings were fatty and a bit undercooked but the sauce not them (buffalo and bbq) was good. The burger was flavorless and the bun was stale. The salad, well its salad. The pizza, oh man, it had no taste, literally no flavor. No seasoning no salt nothing. We might as well have been eating paper. The star of the show was just a fall on your face let down. Staff was polite though and that's about all. Won't be returning again.

Joe B.

Yelp
Very good pizza! Just like I remember back in the 80's when you guys were in Darien! Absolutely phenomenal!

Kyle R.

Yelp
Great pizza. Good pasta dishes. Dining in has a neighborhood feel. If you call in a pizza take out order on a Friday or Saturday, it might be over an hour.

Ryan G.

Yelp
Ordered a large thin crust half cheese half sausage. The crust is about 3/4 inch thick...not so thin. Sauce and sausage are boring. The cheese was the only good thing going on. Tried this place based on reviews and obviously Naperville has a serious pizza problem....nothing is good. This pizza tastes frozen with fresh cheese on top. If you're new to Naperville and looking for good pizza, cross this place off your list and keep looking.

Yelp
Price is great ORDERD super thin half cheese half sausage pepperoni Tasty but sauce needs improving! Have not been inside. Looking forward to the summer months. For now it's order in. I can't wait for summer at little Italian Pizza . I hope they have a patio. Great idea to sit outside right now with a cold Beer and a big slice of Well by for now. See you this summer

Yelp
The restaurant is under some remodeling. We waited in the front foyer until I walked back to let them know we were there. I ordered the 1/2 slab of ribs. They were covered with very sweet bbq sauce. The 5-bones were over cooked, and one of them was charred black. They served Chicken Marsala to my wife and my friend's wife, who said it wasn't as good as before. The interior was very grey and stark. The best of the place was the lasagna my friend ordered, as well as the young waitress who was very attentive. She asked us if everything was okay. It was just okay.

Jacquelyn G.

Yelp
In my estimation, if you want REAL Chicago-style thin crust pizza, this is the place to go. We hunted for years in these suburbs to find an authentic thin crust, cheese and sausage pizza like the kind we grew up with in Chicago in the 40's and 50's - THIS IS THE PLACE! We ask for it well done and it is fantastic! After a long trip away from home, we can't wait to order a Little Italian Pizza on Bailey Road in Naperville, IL:) There is almost no where in the U.S. that can match.
google avatar

Denise K.

Yelp
Haven't had a pizza from here in more than 10 years. It was in my top 5. A large cheese pizza that cost $22 should be exceptional, the crust was like card board, zero crisp, grease dripping and the cheese was not melted. It was heartbreaking because I was so excited. My guess is new ownership‍

Yelp
I finally tried Little Italian last night. I had the gluten free crust and it was delicious! This is the first place I've found that offers two sizes for gf. I was so excited that I ordered the larger one (12") amd was able to enjoy it for dinner again tonight. Besides the best gluten free crust I've tried, the cheese and sauce were also fantastic. It was New Year's Eve, so I understand they were busy (it was only 4pm however). I ordered pick-up and was told my pizzas would be ready in 40 minutes. I showed up on time but had to wait an extra 20 minutes. They forgot to give my the side order of anchovies I ordered and paid for, but unfortunately did not realize this until I got home. I ordered my pizza with spinach. I'm not sure what they did for it to come out this way, bit the only sign of the veggie was that the cheese was a solid green, which looked less than appetizing. It was hard to taste the presence of spinach. I'm not sure how our why they added my topping this way. It is something I have ordered frequently from other parlors and I have never seen nor would I desire chees-ach. I wonder if it was a fluke. If I order blac olives next time would they grind them up amd make them one with the mozzarella, yielding cheese with a black hire? I'm almost afraid to find out! That being said, I'll definitely will order from them again because over all, the pie was de-lish!
google avatar

James G.

Yelp
I had a Cheese, Pepperoni and Sausage Pizza with the house crust. I loved it! The size of the pizza was very generous and ended up taking home more than I what I thought would. The waitress was very personable and friendly. The restaurant itself has a relaxed neighborhood Italian restaurant vibe, nothing fancy but still nice!
google avatar

M S.

Yelp
Loved the pizza. Offers thin, but prefer the regular crust. So happy to have this as close as it is, but would drive if it wasn't :)

Yelp
Great pizza- great staff Would def go again- pizza was great Staff so friendly and nice!!

Yelp
I went here scores of times when growing up nearby. Delicious pizza. So happy that this place is still in business. I hope to stop by the next time that I'm in Naperville.

Yelp
This business has been around since I was a teenager in the 1970's we started ordering from here again next to our chiro... they have a variety of menu items .. gluten free pasta & pizza they accidentally made a mistake last week the day after we'd picked up our order used Alfredo sauce not Marinara sauce which is awesome I might add! I called the person answered the phone didn't ask me 20 questions ... he got the manager right away remade my pasta again as well as giving us a new salad and bread and butter too great customer service and food!
google avatar

John C.

Yelp
Used to absolutely love this place and got it with my father every Friday. However, new management has left this once great restaurant only a shadow of its past self. I really hope they step it up, as for the past three times, we've received stale crust, different tasting sauce, and messy cheese. I really hope the owners see this message, and fix whatever has been going on for the past couple months.
google avatar

Anthony T.

Yelp
This is my grandparents spot. We usually come here for a nice little homemade Italian dine in spot that isn't Olive Garden. My go to here is the eggplant parmesan. Great portions. Most dinners come with a side of pasta, soup or salad and garlic bread. All really great. I'd give it a 5 star but past few times the service has just been OKAY. But the food is great, prices are reasonable as well. I still need to get back in there to try the pizza. Looked great.

Yelp
We have been coming here for 25 years, and unfortunately last night will probably be our last time. Our family loved the thin crust pizza but we have noticed over the past year that the quality of the pizza has decreased, but last night when my wife found cardboard in the pizza it the last straw. We informed the waitress and she notified the cooks, her response to us seemed rather "lacking". When the cook preps the pizza it is near where they store the pizza boxes and the cardboard must have fallen into the pizza.
google avatar

Joe C.

Yelp
Pizza crust way too thick, asked for extra cheese but it so overwhelming it was hard to eat.
google avatar

Anya J.

Yelp
This is our family's favorite pizza! My 4 year-old says let's get "regular pizza" and he is referring to Little Italian! Their boneless wings are great too!
google avatar

Jason P.

Yelp
Broken hearted 50% of the time my take out order is wrong. Called today and spoke to a guy named John. He kept interrupting me while I was trying to explain my simple order. I had to hang up. I would go into more detail but my order at Fat Rosies is ready to be picked up. Call me when you can manage my orders.
google avatar

Yelp
I'm not really sure where to begin on this review- my 2 is a result of some factors that are a 4, and others that are a 1. We like the food. We've had pizza, sandwiches and salads- they are really good (a 5). If that's where your 'wants' end, call me crazy and enjoy yourselves! If you order takeout, get ready for constant weekend chaos and terrible wait time estimates! They just can't get their stuff together. If they say 40, it's between 25 and 70 minutes. It's like they are new to this business (they're not). I never complain... I hear others complain & they constantly offer excuse, after excuse. This particular visit, I was told 45 minutes and after 65 minutes they are looking for my order. It happens every. Single. Time. The takeout area is also unpleasant (at least when there are 20 people hanging out). The dine-in atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired- it has the feel of the lousy strip mall it is stuck in. It just gets old! By the way - my 45 minute wait turned into one hour and 16 minutes. If you value your time in anyway, go somewhere else.

Yelp
What was good. The bruschetta was just short of amazing. Probably the best flavor of any that I have ever had. The bread is were the issue was. It was charred on the edges which was awesome and crispy but the rest of the bread was a bit soggy. Crisp up the center of that bread and this bruschetta would be a absolute home run. We got the thin pizza and the crust was nice and crispy and plenty of cheese. Nice over all flavor. This place also had Bells Hopslam on tap!!! Someone there must have strings at the distributor, that is really hard to get in Illionis.  What I didn't like was the non stop bussing of our table. There was constantly picking stuff up off of the table, even the napkins. I just thought this was annoying. Maybe it's just me.  We will go back for Italian food soon.
