"All Little Italy franchises are not the same. In fact, some are superb while others awful, with doughy crusts and lifeless tomato sauces. The City Hall branch is one of the great ones, and you can tell the minute you step inside and see the elated diners. A favorite slice is the carbonara, which features two kinds of cheese along with shards of prosciutto, making it one of the city’s few pies to utilize that cold-cut cooked." - Robert Sietsema

you know what, my pizza was excellent. hot, crispy, fresh basil. i’ve been walking by this place for weeks and finally had time to stop in on my way to class. well worth it. only tried the margarita but would for sure try others. pizza price is a great deal. soda/drinks are $3+ …so, typical for new york

This is one of my favorite pizza spots around 14 street. I like how the crust is crispy and you can see that on the bottom. I like to get the BBQ chicken and add hot sauce and cheese on top. I get the garlic knots when I’m feeling big back. The service is pretty smooth unless it’s hectic. The staff are pretty good at their job. Atmosphere is hit or miss. Sometimes homeless people may linger around or sit inside while you’re eating.

Last night was a very distasteful experience after eating there for years, while bringing family and friends, and supporting that establishment. I ordered 3 regular slices and 1 buffalo slice (the last one they had) for my son (5) and I. I then ordered 2 pepperoni slices to go for my son and requested a BOX for the slices, since the brown bag they placed it in had an oil leakage the moment they handed it to me. After placing the 2 slices in the box, they guys behind the counter made a loud announcement for everyone including myself to hear, by telling me that the little box are for 3+ slices. As if I didn’t already purchased 4 slices moments before purchasing 2 more slices, spending over $24. They watched my son and I eating our slices and had the audacity to fix their mouths to tell me some bs. We were also there the night before (Halloween night) and I spent about $16. That was one of our favorite pizza places since he started growing teeth in his mouth and that was about 5 years ago. As a big foodie there are so many better pizza places that aren’t overpriced with rough crispy bottoms. I used to order large pies with different toppings to go and take it back to the Bronx. I will NEVER step foot in that establishment again‼️The only thing that held me back from putting them in their places is the fact that I had a blunt to block out any negativity including my whining son. They definitely would’ve heard my mouth if I wasn’t relaxed 🧘🏽. I’ve always greeted them with respect and for some odd reason they always seemed to be snobbish, but will give their fair skinned customers the upmost respect no matter how nasty some are, cool. A small ssa PIZZA BOX was the last straw ✌🏽.

Decent slice but pretty greasy, and needs much more sauce (too much cheese & not enough sauce). Nice guys that run it though :)

I ordered 2 slices, I went to put condiments on it and reached for that I thought was garlic because it was in the usual garlic shaker (just like every other pizza shop would have) but it was black pepper, when I brought this to the attention of the shop workers they did not apologize nor offer to change my pizza, they had a tape with a EXTREMELY faded writing on it that no one would be able to see that it said pepper on it, I would never give a bad rating but when then telling me I shoulda assumed it was black pepper where no where on the canister it indicated that is a a horrible experience. THEY HAD BLACK PEPPER WHERE USUALLY YOU WOULD SEE A PIZZA SHOP KEEP GARLIC AND THEY HAD NO GARLIC IN THE condiments SECTION
