I'm in Brooklyn from the DC-Northern Virginia area for the RBC Brooklyn Half Marathon. A Work colleague told me about your store after visiting last month. He’d mentioned the friendly staff and great prices. Because I was running the race the team went above and beyond and delivered them to my hotel in Brooklyn. Love this place, love the people that work there and the owner. They're so helpful when we come in and we often do to ask questions about a specific wine we might want and they always take the time to look things up or order something for us if it's not in stock. Also, my husband has emailed the owner plenty of times over the past 7 years about something I might want a case of or a wine that I can't find and he's always been so good to us and helpful as he replies almost immediately. This is a small place but big heart!

This is my favorite wine store! Great diverse selection, descriptive flavors, and so many affordable options!

The owner is a great guy to talk to. He knows his wares and can give great recommendations. The collection he has is eclectic, including wines by female and black winemakers. The sparkling Black Girl Magic by the McBride Sisters was an excellent gift for my wife. There are also regular tastings in the shop to help customers wide their pallets. Who knew rum can be so good! Pity that I lived a continent away and can't visit regularly!

We have loved shopping at Little Mo's ever since they opened. They have always had great wine, great service and great prices for a quiet wine Wednesday or any kind event we're having. We recently had them supply wine & liquor for our wedding and they were great! Wide selection, responsive, budget-friendly, dependable and local. Delivered on time. Such a joy.

Awesome store. Small but quaint, really convenient for someone in their 20s or 30s to live near because they have high quality wine and spirits for any occasion, and sort the bottles by price which is a huge win. If it's a weeknight and we only want to pick up a bottle to have with dinner we can get a good one for less than $12, but if we are celebrating or want to be fancy Little Mo's can accommodate that as well. Love this spot!

This is a small shop with a large variety, but small volume. If I were just rating the service this review would be 1 star. I was looking for a particular wine. With no other customers, the young woman at the counter made no effort to assist me. At that point, even if I discovered the wine I wanted I would not have bought it from there. The owner needs to address proper customer service.

This has been my go to wine shop ever since the pandemic. This place has many quality options. I have always ordered for delivery, but I decided to drop in today! Such a cute, organized and clean space. Now, while I'm not crazy about most canned cocktails, with all the fizz that causes heartburn. They carry some quality, delicious, strong and inexpensive canned cocktails. The portion size is similar to a cocktail they'd serve you at an upscale restaurant and charge $18 bucks. These are $5! Flavor and price can't be beat. Also picked up a bottle of Cabernet. Service was very pleasant. Love supporting this place :)

Great selection of wine and they make some great store picks of bourbon. Mark is great and does a ton for the surrounding community. Love this store!

Everytime I walk in here, I wonder outloud why I don't come here more often! The friendly clerk immediately offered me 2 fabulous aperitifs to taste. The staff seemed super knowledgeable and passionate about wine. I felt right at home. They have a very inviting and spacious place to browse some well-curated wines and spirits from all over the globe. They categorize their wines by type and price range which i like better versus plainly going by region. I signed up for their loyalty program where you get $15 back after spending $200. For those on the go, they also offer a great selection of canned wines and ciders featuring items I don't see in other stores. Drfi6the best wine & spirit store in PLG!

Unlike other stores it has a selection of wine and spirits that for the most part you don't see at the forefront of your typical liquor store (In some cases you might not see them at all). This is good for the simple fact that you can try something new. They have an awesome wine pairing chart on the back wall of the store which is pretty awesome (Be sure to check it out). Staff and owner are very knowledgeable about the products on the shelves and it shows because you can almost always ask them about anything they have. It's a cool store and with the selection they have you will wander around like a kid in a candy store. Oh yeah... lastly they have a rewards program be sure to sign up.

Fantastic place to go and let your hair down. They have everything I'm looking for in terms of prosecco and ports!! Very clean and funky interesting interior displays. The gate was being fixed when I went and I had to wait a few minutes to get in but boy was it worth it!!! I will come again!

Little Mo Wine & Spirits had a great selection of Wines & Spirits at great prices. Their online app makes it easy to order for pickup or delivery. I highly recommend this establishment.

Love this wine shop. They carry a very curated selection of wine and spirits. Not your average liquor store which is nice. They carry a couple local wines and spirits. They have some nice pricey stuff at the same time they still have some everyday wine and liquor. Not an enormous selection overall but I'm good with what they offer and they have a....drum roll...loyalty program! Yup spend $200 get $15 off next purchase. Pro Tip: they keep a variety of open bottles so you can taste test the liquors.

This shop fits right at home in the neighborhood. The owner is friendly. I went in one night because I've been meaning to go for so long. I purchased a recommended cab and St.Vincent strong rum. The wine is categorized in price range which is nice for folks who have specific price range. I even was able to share a glass of wine with him before I left. I am definitely going to go back and support this business. They are personable and friendly.

This is the kind of business that I'm proud to support. So I started working in the area back in 2016 and I think I walked by them during my time with my old company. I'm grateful to have stumbled upon this place. So, I'm drinking less with the pandemic (weird, right?) but I still like to have some better bottles of wine and things available for the rare socially distanced visitor that I get. During the summer and early fall, you could still buy in person. However, cases are currently rising in Brooklyn so maybe they'll go back to online-only. If they are online-only, they seem to be delivering any order size at the time of this post. In addition to a wide variety of wines from around the world, there are a number of speciality liquors and beers, as well. You too, can make it seem like you have exquisite taste simply by checking out what they offer every now and then. The staff is incredibly knowledgable. Check this place out, you'll be happy you did.

Ordered next-day gift champagne delivery for my sister-in-law in Brooklyn, which was tricky to time out b/c we had to make sure someone of legal age was available to sign for it during the delivery window. Took some back and forth with my brother to figure that part out, but as far as talking to Little Mo, they were friendly, responsible, and flexible, and the price was exactly right. Mark replied quickly, and was so friendly. Will definitely be using again for NYC gift delivery!

Really great. Even their least expensive wines ($11-12 pinot noirs, cotes du rhones, and malbecs) are delicious! They have really found some of the best values -- quality for price. They must have done their research. Also the whole system right now -- online ordering for pickup/delivery -- works very well. Very polite customer service. It's refreshing to have such a solid affordable wine shop in this neighborhood, it's been sorely lacking for many years. Long live Little Mo.

I just love Mo's wine shop. This shop elevates the liquor buying experience to a new level. Tonight, there was a St. Lucian bartender in the shop, so stylishly dressed. He was so polite and let me try the St. Lucian spiced rum. It was harsh for me at first, but when he added the pineapple juice--game changer. I will be purchasing in the future. This is just one of many great experiences I've had there. The shop always supports boutique sort of indie brandsa and they always champion diversity and inclusion. Everyone is welcomed.

Great selection at various price points. The app has very detailed descriptions of the flavor profiles of most of the wines available, which helps me select the best wines! I've pretty much only had hits. Would absolutely recommend.

I love this store! First of, its really nice, pretty and well kept. Second, they offer so many options (They have a really good moscato, btw)!!! I also like the chart they have to help you pair wine with a local restaurant; that's really cool. The staff is always helpful and very nice! It's also great that they offer tastings basically every week. Honestly, is the nicest store in the neighborhood!!! Love it.

If ever there was a saving grace Little Mo Wine & Spirits is definitely one. Absolutely great customer service, friendly faces, expert knowledge of wines and spirits and they are always spot on with their recommendations! Wonderful addition to this neighborhood, keeping us all a little light hearted in the tough times!

The customer service here is bad enough to make me choose more often than not to walk 3 more blocks to a wine shop where the staff acknowledges me and doesn't make rude comments when I ask for recommendations. Most recently, I decided to give them another try in a pinch and when I called to ask about a late delivery i was hung up on. Please train your staff to offer even basic customer service. The people who work here are rude, including the owner who did not apologize or offer any discount after I had to go to the store to seek a reimbursement for a wine that was never delivered.

Beautiful, unpretentious wine shop with friendly and knowledgeable staff. And they deliver! So lucky to have this right in the neighborhood.

Free wine tips, a cool liquor selection, and redeemable rewards points...I'm in. I love coming to this wine shop because they always keep my favorite wine in stock, i often leave with new wine tips, and sometimes I try the new bottles they have behind the register. The people who work there are also kind and helpful. While it's annoying that they don't carry the usual spirits that are available in any local liquor store, I always come here if I'm looking for wine as a gift.

This place is wonderful and filled with interesting wines, sake and booze. It is Brooklyn to the max, in the best way possible. They have a loyalty program which is super cool. I will definitely make this my home base for all my drunky needs.

I love Boukman rum, but they only import to NY. Since I'm in Oregon, that's a problem. I didn't expect to get much help, but Mark from Little Mo proved otherwise. Despite being a small order from the other side of the country, he assisted like I was a regular from down the street. Prompt and courteous staff - Brooklyn, you have a gem.

Lil Mo Wine & Spirits is my go to wine store. I will not go anywhere else! Why? They're always very patient with me. I'm allergic to tannins and can only drink organic, biodynamic wine and like, why shouldn't I be able to have wine because of this! So whenever I want to try something new, I call or walk in and they will either stay on the phone with me while I browse the app, wine by wine as they recommend or will explain the taste or if it's dry or answer any questions I might have in which I ALWAYS do. Do not hesitate to buy your wine from here. They have amazing wine and great customer service!

It really saddens me that I have to put up a post like this. I came in today after a long day of work and wanted a nice refreshing bottle of wine but I was in for a rude awakening, literally. The minute I walked into the store, it was silent no greeting or acknowledgement. The thing is I've heard so many great reviews so I was eager to give it a try. Boy was they wrong, the cashier was very rude and unprofessional. Not to mention, I was asking for a sweet red wine, she mumbled something under her breath. And proceeded stomp to the bottle of wine and shove it in my hand. I won't ever spend money here again.

I love this store. They're super friendly and helpful with recommendations. I have not been disappointed with any of their selections yet. I really enjoy their wine and believe they are reasonably priced. The most recent recommendation was a rose in a box for $12. It's surprisingly very good!

Went in to grab some rum Sunday afternoon 2/17/19 around 12:30pm. Shop keeper was counting the drawer (which I totally get!) and would not look up to acknowledge my girlfriend and I. I stood there in front of her at the counter for about 2 mins..still wouldn't look up. Eventually she shrugged, and begrudgingly rang us up with an attitude. Sorry, but usually paying customers patronizing a small business is considered a good thing by shopkeepers..not an inconvenience. It's a very nice store, so clearly someone cares in there. Just made a bad hire. Won't be going back. What a shame.

Just moved to the neighborhood. Stuck at home dealing with optimum drove me to drink! Super friendly and informative. Placed an order charged the card and received my delivery in 30 mins. Oh and the Rose was cold ready to serve! About to be a regular customer!

I've tried to give Little Mo Wine a lot of chances because I'd love to have a great wine shop in the neighborhood, but I just continue to be disappointed every time I visit. Their wine selection never improves; it's frustrating to see some of the same sub-par options on the shelf every time I go. They boast about their large selection of $12 wines, but several of these should be $10 -- a price point that isn't even an option in this shop. To top it off, when I tried to buy spirits today I was told that the price on the shelf was wrong and the bottle I had chosen was $6 more. The sign was clear; the staff should've at least respected that price while serving me, then fixed it immediately. I'm sad to say that I've given up hope with this shop.

I got the most amazing selection of dry whites and rich reds. The owner Mark made me feel right at home, well personally selecting things based on my and my spouse's tastes. The whole place is also so nicely laid out, it feels like an aesthetic experience just hanging out there. A gem!

Love Little Mo! Their selection is well curated and ever changing/expanding. The owner is quite knowledgeable and is happy to work with you to find just the right taste that you are looking for. He knows his pairings. They even do same day delivery! So helpful when you are in a pinch during a party. Highly recommend Little Mo!

Why offer a delivery service if you can't deliver? I'm sure someone else knows better than I do, but if restaurants can manage to cook and deliver entire meals within 20-45 mins, why is it that after over 3 hours these people can't manage to deliver a product that is already bottled and prepared? The customer service is atrocious and the sheer incompetence of the people working there is mind boggling. In my entire life I can't recall ever dealing with someone as consistently rude as the man I dealt with over the phone. I had to tell him my name 7 times (I actually counted), and each time I said it, he gave me the runaround in the end his response to me was "We all have problems". Absolutely incredible. I'm never giving this place my business again and I'd also urge everyone else to take theirs elsewhere.

The staff is really inviting, helpful and very friendly. They make shopping there an absolute pleasure! If you are not sure what to get, they will take the time to give you good suggestions.

This is a great store for wine and spirits! They have a decent selection for the tiny size of the store and the employees are always more than helpful when you need help finding an item or a match for dinner. The wines are relatively inexpensive while maintaining quality. The store also offers rewards points and discounts on various days of the week, from what I remember.

Yum. Really. I like to find things that are off the beaten path taste-wise in my hard liquor and this place can always give something new to try. As far as wine goes I am less adventurous and they do me fine with really easy 'table' wines too. And the customer service has been top notch. My only problem is that now I need to drink more. huh.

There are great things to be said about Little Mo Wine & Spirits. Top notch service, unique selection and inviting ambiance is what makes this shop stand out in our neighborhood. From friendly greetings when you walk in to helpful suggestions and knowledgeable staff, every visit I have left with something new that I love. I believe the owner of the shop is usually who I've interacted with, and he is a patient, friendly guy that knows his stuff. Case in point: on one occasion I stopped in looking for an alternative to Ron Zacapa - he suggested Ron Diplomatico. He briefly told me about his experience with the rum, along with the flavor comparisons and then offered a sample. Sold! It is hands down my new favorite rum and I definitely wouldn't have known about it otherwise. Little Mo also offers delivery and even has an app to browse. One other great feature this shop has is a record keeping system. Did you buy a wine a few weeks ago that you loved but just can't remember the name? Well, they can look it up for you based on your purchase history. Genius! If you're looking for great service and something unique, stop in. You will not be disappointed!

Great wine and liquor store with a more than expansive selection and for the most part, friendly staff. They've got the god stuff and they've got the average stuff depending on your wallet and taste so love the variety. The store also some wine tastings or events every now and then too so it is nice to stop in there if you can. They also have a membership program that you can join and although I haven't reaped the benefits of it, I'm sure there are some (lol). Mostly, just make sure you say you're a member any time you purchase something because they don't always ask. Have ordered via delivery app (don't), mini bar app (good, most of the time) and the store wine app (good, most of the time) and while the delivery has gone over or has been spotty (didn't go through a few times or took longer than an hour), it is decent but I still prefer to just go in. I've also been there trying to make their opening time (I swear, this is just when I'm hosting brunch), they've been closed so a bit of tardiness here and there. Overall though, appreciate them and the selection.

First off, we love Little Mo Wine & Spirits! It's one of our favorite places in PLG and when it was time for us to order wine for our wedding, we had to go to Mo's! Our decision to support a local business turned out to be a great choice on many levels. Mark worked with us to choose wines that complemented our very diverse menu and also fit our budget. Highly, highly recommended.

Didn't seem to care much about wine other than the price. No options, choices, or redirection to the website given the online-only ordering. Just apathy and a quote for an anonymous bottle.

Little Mo Wine is a neighborhood treasure. If you've ever wondered how best to pair the nearby restaurant selections, like oxtail stew or carne asada, head on over to Little Mo and check out their flowchart/map thingy on the back wall, or just ask Mark for help. Also if you're throwing a big party, say for your daughter's Bat Mitzvah or your in-laws' 50th wedding anniversary, Mark can help you figure out exactly what you'll need, with delivery too.

My go-to wine and liquor shop in the neighborhood. Excellent selection of reasonably-priced wines. Staff extremely helpful with making selections (because I don't really know that much about wine). Cool liquor selection. I go here when I want to get a nice bottle of liquor as a gift because they tend to have interesting small-batch liquors. Not the place to get a big jug of Georgi. Did I mention that they have an app and delivery? I don't do that much because I like the human touch, but might feel differently as winter comes on.

I love this place. The staff are super friendly, the prices are reasonable, and they often have stuff available to try, if you're into that. The delivery is also way convenient. My favorite part of LMW&S is their selection- they cover all the basics, and also have really awesome, unique, small-batch stuff. They put me on Virgil Kane Ginger Bourbon, which has changed my life, and the Kings County Distillery Bourbon is absolutely off the chain. Highly recommend.

Hands down the best wine and liquor store in the area (and no bulletproof glass! Yay!). There's a large selection of affordable wines and the staff is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Personally I'm more of a spirits man myself and this place does not disappoint in that department. There's a very eclectic mix on their liquor shelves, ranging from little-known rums, to popular single malts, to cognacs, and even a couple of mezcals. I asked about a scotch I wasn't familiar with and was offered a taste before buying. As I said, very friendly staff. If you're looking for brands like Grey Goose, Hennessey, or Jose Cuervo, you're in the wrong place. There's a bulletproof glass liquor store further up nostrand if that's your preference (kinda boring if you ask me, but hey, whatever floats your boat). But if you're looking to try some great whiskeys you won't find at your average bar, club, or local store, you're in for a nice treat.

Online ordering and delivery? Yes please! Cute little spot that has a great looking selection of local spirits I'm definitely going to try. They carry my favorites and I love the back wall art! It's an awesome chalkboard chart with wine pairings, but it includes things that can be found in the neighborhood which is largely Caribbean. Now I now what to pair with oxtails...lol

Wine delivery! And they are fast! And you can order from an app. And they have liquor. This place is the best and really been keeping me afloat during covid-19. Thank you Little Mo!

Awesome little wine store in Prospect Lefferts. A well curated selection of reasonably priced wines. And a very nice selection of top shelf and artisanal liquors. Everything I've tried at all price points has been good. It's my go to for a bottle to open with dinner or to get a gift for a dinner party. And free delivery!
