14 Great Restaurants to Dine in Key West, Florida | Eater Miami

"This fish house and wine bar is open only for dinner and keeps the menu simple. In fact, there are three seatings per night, and guests are offered a four-course tasting menu. While the options are limited, the dishes are full of flavor and technique. Highlights include a miso conch salad, mole-glazed octopus, pork belly bao buns, and sake-braised bone-in short ribs." - Amber Love Bond

10 Best Restaurants in Key West

"This chic wine bar and seafood eatery offers a fun take on the nautical theme that honors the restaurant’s surroundings without overwhelming diners with chintzy pirate gear and SCUBA seats as far as the eye can see. Where it does over-deliver is with its tasting menu, where you put yourself in the hands of the chefs and let them do their thing. If you’re lucky, their “thing” will include a serving of Japanese baby back ribs with Daikon slaw." - Jennifer M. Wood

Super noisy atmosphere! Food was tasty but the portion size for all four courses all together was equivalent to an appetizer elsewhere. We definitely left very hungry! And food took 30 minutes to come out between course 1 and course 2. We had to tell the waitress to speed it up. The worst thing is to give a hungry person super tiny portions on a large plate and wait 30 minutes before the next tiny portion (aka “course”) arrives! Actually , there is one thing worse than all of this; the bill costed over $200 for two people! We paid cash to avoid the 2.5% up charge for using a credit card. Never again! We ended up going to another restaurant called “Kennedy Cafe” which was marvelous and delicious 😋 These photos are from the food from Kennedy Cafe. I’d highly recommend them!

Absolutely incredible! This hidden gem - right off of Duval, settled on a neighborhood corner is a must go to! The staff, especially Gail, are friendly, helpful, and good people. The chef creates a remarkable menu of different combo flavors that are a must taste! This place came as a recommendation to us, and we feel the need to pass it along.

Google
Review for those who traveled to EU and know what good food is. From 4 courses, i liked cheese plate only. The rest was overcooked , maybe because i arrived at 9pm food tasted overcooked? 2 courses were very spicy. there is no balance of flavors. If your taste buds are not developed, you most likely will not understand the nuances. My husband said I am fussy. PS there is 2,5% fee if you pay by card

If you like fun with your food this is the apex of your trip to Key West. My wife called the dinner, sensory overload, and well, she only uses that term in very .... back to the review. Immaculate service, the presentation was fire and the fusion of fun in the recipes is out of this world. From Yellowtail to Pork Belly the succulent dishes continue to arrive over four courses of amazement. Little Pearl is a must!

Google
It’s rare to find a restaurant that delivers on all fronts- atmosphere, service and culinary… but Little Pearl has it all! My husband and I have dined all around the US, and between us, have visited at least three Michelin star restaurants- we both feel Little Pearl outshines many of them and deserves a star of its own! The tasting menu is Prix Fixe with a four course dining experience and additional add-on options. The Wine menu is beautifully curated (although note there are not cocktails, liquor or beer : wine and sake only). Each of the four course had three selections to choose from. The thought and culinary mastery of each course is outstanding! The flavor profiles and merriment of so many levels of flavor exceeds many of the best dining experiences we have ever had! We are contemplating a return for an encore dinner before leaving the island. Do yourself a favor and definitely reserve a dinner here! Also the menu rotates every 6 weeks! So absolutely stop in again the next time you’re on the island!

Google
This restaurant is really good. Limited tasting menu but delicious and elegant. The only thing that I find annoying is that they charge a hefty surcharge if you pay by card. And this is on a pricey menu anyway.

Google
TOP NOTCH! My wife and I highly recommend this restaurant. It was hands down the best food we had on vacation down here in Key West. Our server was super friendly, food delivery to the table was timed perfectly, and the food was unbelievably delicious. I don’t say things are 10/10 often, but this restaurant was. I travel quite a bit for both work and pleasure, I enjoy fine dining often, and trust me when I say… do not skip it. You’ll be missing out!

Another fantastic dinner. This place is amazing. The menu is perfect and the staff are super attentive and knowledgeable. Clams and caviar was so good!

Yelp
An excellent 4- course chef's tasting menu at this intimate, three seating, high end restaurant. Everything was cooked optimally with a few noteworthy dishes that left a memorable impression. First course was the Pink Shrimp Tiradito. Highlight was the sweet chili that still has enough noticeable flavor even when it sits under the kick of the spicy wakame. The shrimp texture and temperature allowed the components of the sauces to have good contrast, allowing you to identify the ingredients with each bite. The second course was their preparation of octopus and polenta. This dish left my mouth singing praises to the staff. As a general non-enjoyer of octopus, the combination of the perfectly cooked meat with the sweetness of what almost tasted like teriyaki left me craving for a bigger dish of it hours after leaving the restaurant. My favorite dish of the night! The third course was what the restaurant dubbed "pig wings". This tender meat slid right off the bone into some Japanese sweet potato puree of excellent consistency. The meat alone was good and cooked to perfection but it really got its full flavor profile when mixed with the sweet potato puree. And the final course was a cheese dish. While the cheese was pretty good, I felt like I would have gotten a more unique taste from the matcha cannolis my family ordered. Not much else to say about it. The waiter and staff were very accommodating for someone in our party with serious health restrictions. While they weren't able to alter the menu, they were very knowledgeable about the ingredients, preparation and sensitivities of each dish and how it might affect said guest. We really appreciated their patience and help. If you're willing to throw down the money on this pricier, limited seating restaurant then I highly recommend a visit.

Yelp
My wife and I had the pleasure of dining at Little Pearl and it was truly a delightful experience. The cozy atmosphere tucked into a neighborhood made for a charming setting for our evening. The seafood was incredibly fresh and expertly prepared, leaving us thoroughly satisfied with our appetizers and entrees. What truly stood out to us was the impressive wine list that the restaurant offered. Our servers were incredibly knowledgeable about the selections and helped us choose the perfect pairing for our meal. Their professionalism and attention to detail made our dining experience even more enjoyable. Overall, we highly recommend Little Pearl for anyone looking for a delicious meal in a cozy setting with exceptional service. We will definitely be returning in the future.

Yelp
If you're a tiny menehune with a huge wallet this place may be for you. Had high hopes for Little Pearl, but the actual experience didn't live up to the hype at all. In fact I had my least enjoyable yet most expensive dinner there during my stay in Key West. Little Pearl offers a 4-course $85 tasting menu with weekly rotation of choices, 3 seatings per evening to maximize revenue. The room is woody and dimly lit with very nice rustic decor. Hamachi crudo appetizer consisted of four thin slices of fish, tasty but paltry (a theme that ran throughout the entire repast). As if $85 weren't enough to justify a nice meal, our server kept pushing pricey add-ons. For example she said the udon second course would be "very bland" without a $25 black truffle add-on, which I declined. Trout roe on the udon was sparse. I chose the shio koji tuna as my main course, which our server assured me was sashimi grade bluefin tuna. So I was unpleasantly surprised to receive a plate of uneven chunks of tough fishy tuna with lots of disgusting white sinew so I couldn't chew it (see pic). Tuna was resting on icky brown bland mush. I am very familiar with sashimi grade fish and this wasn't it! I politely asked to exchange the tuna for another dish but was turned down by haughty server who said "that's the only way our expert chef prepares it, try some more." Ugh no thank you I left it. Two fried soft shell crab bao buns were delicious, but another $22 add-on. The cheese plate consisted of three miniscule cubes of cheese with a few berries and a small pastry. Two slim four inch ice cream cones for my partner. Good taste but again, very tiny. Unfriendly service, ridiculously small portions at high prices and refusal to exchange an inedible entree? Three stars is on the generous side if you ask me.

Yelp
Great little gem of Key West. Small place with a lovely vibe. Chefs tasting menu was delicious. Service was wonderful. Will definitely go back

Yelp
The little pearl is a must for the foodie in you. Our 2nd visit, the 4 course menu was awesome. The artful presentation the amazing flavors and great service. Off the beaten path is worthy of your effort to find it

Yelp
Sushi waffle, shrimp wontons and halibut entree were excellent. Conch salad and limoncello cheesecake disappointing. Reasonably priced wine list. Very friendly, excellent service, comfortable atmosphere. Definitely recommend.

Sonal P.

Yelp
Serene cozy environment and very attentive service. Unique presentation The experience is for the palate therefore small portion sizes. Limited dessert choices..skip the homemade ice cream sherbet combo.

Yelp
Love the small restaurant feel. It is intimate. The staff is attentive. The food is divine. I loved having the set courses and ordering them all at once. Enjoyed every bit of our experience. Did not feel rushed at all. I highly recommend!

Yelp
Our night started out perfect from the moment Patrick introduced himself to us! We are foodies and love a great meal and this is a place we stumbled on this morning during our bike ride. I only wish it was earlier on in our trip because we would have definitely visited again. The atmosphere is inviting and the fact that there are limited tables makes it an "experience" as opposed to dinner. Patrick gave suggestions for wine that paired perfectly with our selections of food for the evening and he was engaging and always had a smile on his face. Wonderful qualities that we enjoy when heading out to dinner. He was also kind enough to share other restaurants in the area for breakfast and lunch that we have not tried. We will certainly be back when we visit Key West next year. Thanks for allowing us to be the first to try the new menu and for making our experience top Notch!

Yelp
Robert was awesome, this was a great meal experience. Would highly recommend, looking forward to the menu change the next time we come down!

Yelp
OMG. YUM. Honestly, Little Pearl rivals some of the Michelin star restaurants I've eaten at! With a pre-set menu, where you get choices, they specialize in seafood, but have options for those that don't love seafood as well. Between my husband and I, we did try a large portion of the menu. We started with oysters from the raw bar - they came with balsamic vinegar pearls and were to die for. So so good. For the first course, we loved the salmon and the carrots (they were surprisingly so so good!). For the second course, we had the pork belly and the bao buns - I wish the bao buns had more flavor - but you could tell the fish was incredibly fresh. For the third course, I adored my halibut! The edamame puree was divine! My husband enjoyed his pork chop, but did mention it was more on the dry side. For dessert we ended with the cheese plate - which came with such a variety of cheese, fruit and textures - and the churro cheesecake - YUM.

Yelp
AMAZING! The best meal we had in Key West and one of the top dining experiences I've ever had. Robert was our server and he was fantastic. He was very knowledgeable with the menu and we could tell he was familiar with food/cooking/restaurants. We got to talking and he shared he used to have his own restaurants elsewhere which was not a surprise. Little Pearl offers a 4 course tasting menu for $85. You can also get additional items from their raw bar. I started with the shrimp bisque which was very tasty. Had a bit of spice which was a nice touch. Second was the lobster burrata. Very good. Third was the crispy sea bass which was SO good. I live in the Midwest and you just don't get fish like this ever. Could tell how fresh it was and it was cooked perfectly. My boyfriend got the day boat which is the catch of the day. It was swordfish and tasted unreal. Dessert was lavender ice cream with a bit of sea salt. Never had lavender ice cream and I loved it. This is a must in key west. If you're a foodie you will love the experience. Robert was awesome, he even gave us restaurant recommendations for Miami after hearing that we were going in a few days. You should definitely make a reservation. They have options at 5, 7 and 9. We did 9 and it was about a 2 hour experience.

Yelp
Small romantic neighborhood spot off the main drag. Great atmosphere w/romantic lighting & curated music. It offers a tasting menu style w/three options from 4 different categories. The staff are attentive but at times can come off pushy. Over all would recommend as a nice spot for a romantic evening but may not be a must visit destination.

Yelp
Still loving this place, year after year! The 5:00 seating was a little quiet, so we were able to get seats at the bar. Dan is simply a wonderful server. Friendly, attentive, great sense of humor and a pleasure to chat with. Although the next seating was at 7pm, we were never rushed. If you've never been here, it is a preset menu: 4 courses, 3 choices for each course. The menu is posted on the website. There are also raw bar options you can add. Each portion is perfectly cooked, sized and beautifully presented. I never leave hungry. As the seatings are every 2 hours, this is not a place to hang out before/after for a drink. You can also ask your server to slow down a particular course if you need a bit more time to savor the one you are currently eating. Just be aware your table is likely needed in a couple hours.

Dana S.

Yelp
The flavors were excellent and original but the portions were small. I realize it is four courses so you want the portions to be sized appropriately but my husband needed a snack after dinner. We had the following: 1. Lobster nuggets (good), plantain veloute with crab (excellent) 2. Wedge (good), mussels (excellent) 3. Day boat grouper (excellent) 4. Cheese plate (excellent), cannolis (good) It was a little disappointing the wedge salad was the only alternative to seafood with course 2. My husband doesn't like octopus or mussels and asked if he could sub a first course dish. He was told that was not allowed. Service was good but not overly attentive. I would have ordered a coffee with dinner but was not given the chance. The couple next to us got their main course before their second course. They had to tell the wait staff what they ordered. I would return again for the flavors but I hope the fish portion is bigger next time.

Yelp
Very delicious, creative, and fresh food. When I went tasting course was $85 per person. Super fun experience. It's a small dining room so it's not quiet, but as soon as our food came we were just happy as clams.
google avatar

Brit S.

Yelp
Super fun vibes inside and we LOVED our server. As far as food goes, I'm torn. The first course and dessert course were super "meh," but the third course (day boat catch of the day) was some of the best fish I have ever had. Ever. The black garlic sauce was also TO DIE FOR. The scallops were also amazing- but it was only two scallops. Overall, the two main courses were well worth the price and outstanding, but I found myself still hungry after the four courses. I'm sure if we had added on more oysters or some crab we would have walked away fuller, but for $85 I would have hoped the price fixe tasting would have left me full.

Yelp
So, let me start this review with a public service announcement: getting drunk before hitting a fine dining restaurant? Maybe not my brightest idea. My memory of the night might be a little hazy, so take this review with a grain of salt. From what I remember, the dishes were pretty decent, and I'd be willing to give it another go. And no, it's not just because I might've been seeing double or that I think the food was amazing. The one standout moment from the night? The mussels. Those little gems were so good, I slurped up the whole bowl of broth.

Yelp
Amazing little gem we found in key west. We were looking for a place to celebrate my birthday. Walked 20 minutes from where I parked but totally worth it. Note: Peking might be available close by but we had parked to watch the sunset at Mallory square so decided to have a walk. We were seated without a reservation Saturday at 8 pm, they close at 9, but the place is small so I recommend you have a reservation. They serve a 4 course menu. $75 per person. With option of three choices for fours courses of meals. The food was amazing and very unique. Plates are small so definitely perfect for any occasion. We had: 1. Hearts of Palms- crispy rice, soy amazing coke like in egg roll shape, extremely delicious and salmon was super fresh Ora king salmon in yuzu olive oil- I consider it being a blend of Thai and Japanese in a light and flavorful bite- 4 small pieces 2. Wagyu corn dogs- great but they come in very hot, I burnt myself. - [ ] Grilled octopus, celery cucumber- octopus was good but when reading the plate on the menu I was expecting a hot dish, it's like a salad with sliced octopus, about 10 small slices mixed with celery cucumber 3. Day boat- chefs preparation- this plate on this day was a grouper. Delicious and perfect size considering we're having a tasting menu - [ ] Short rib tortellini - this was one of my favourites- a must order! Dessert 1. Matcha green tea crepe cake- one of the best desserts I've tried in my life, perfect balance of sweetness and freshness 2. Yuzu meringue tartlet- really good, too sweet on my taste but my wife loved it. Amy was our server, great service and always checking in in us to se if we needed anything. She even gave us a little book with recommendations of places to visits in the keys. We tried a Japanese beer but i unfortunately forgot the name. Really refreshing. They only have one beer; however they do have a huge wine list. Ambience is low light, perfect for a date or special ocasión. They close at 9 on Saturday so we barely made it. This is a must go place in the keys!

Yelp
We came back to Key West for our 1 year anniversary. For our special night out, we chose the Little Pearl since we had such a great experience the last visit! All I can say is this was seriously THE BEST MEAL I have EVER had. From start to finish everything was outstanding. I wish the portions were bigger since it's all so delicious and I just wanted more more more!! No question, we will be back again!!

Yelp
Little Pearl in Key West is a four-course 5-star culinary experience sure to satisfy your inner foodie. This trip was our third visit, and it surely won't be our last. What we love about this restaurant is that the menu changes often, so it's always a new adventure. The menu is globally inspired and focuses on fresh local seafood. Little Pearl offers a four-course chef's table every night with additional add-ons that change as the menu does. They have several different seatings each night, and reservations are required. If you find yourself visiting Key West, Little Pearl is an elevated dining venture you won't soon forget. The price is $75 per person. Parking is available outside for no charge along the street. They have beer, wine, and sake only

Alicia G.

Yelp
My husband booked a quick weekend get away to the Keys for my 40-1 birthday. We came to The Little Pearl tonight....i couldn't have planned a better night myself. The food...phenomenal but the real gem here is the staff. When we couldn't find parking I called to let them know we'd be a little late...Daniel set the tone by being understanding but also...secretly hilarious. The food....amazing. The ambiance...unmatched. The service....spectacular. The Little Pearl is amazing and we will definitely be back.

Yelp
Now this was one of the best dining experiences I've ever had in Key West and I've been coming here nearly 30 years and have enjoyed many restaurants and meals here. The night I came the menu was coursed-out, not a la carte, but with 3 selections per course. There were still tough choices to be made because more than one item per course looked very appealing. Gail, our server was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu, the work being done in the kitchen, the ownership, and their broad selection of freshly caught seafood. They have a nice wine list, no other spirits/cocktails though, but we were fine with this, as we're mostly wine drinkers. We started with bubbles and moved to a nice chardonnay and prices are very reasonable for the offerings on the wine list. I didn't research the pricing before coming, just reviewed several reviews, enough to know that it would be a great experience, so we came. Once the meal started, I was worried that it would be price-prohibitive, but it was far from that, as only $85/pp... what a great deal! We added the ceviche course, which came out first and it was a steal at only $16 and was incredibly fresh, tasty, and ohhh sooo spicy with ghost pepper in it! I'm not sure why Michelin doesn't come to Key West; if they did, this place deserves recognition! Please don't confuse this Little Pearl with the one in DC that does have a star... they're not related. Overall, the entire meal was excellent... We'll definitely return!!

Yelp
Wow, I was super disappointed with this restaurant. It bills itself as a high end, innovative place. Must go for a 4-course set menu, at $85 (used to be only like $70 a year ago!). The dishes are all fusion with a Japanese influence. Fine. Drinks - we decided not to drink tonight. Was hoping they could do some cocktails, or have an interesting selection of non-alcoholic drinks. Nope, just three choices, all sodas. Service - was efficient and professional, so no issues there. Food - was delicious and interesting dishes, which is a breath of fresh air in Key West, where everywhere serves almost the same dishes. Portions & Value - this is where it all falls down. While you are getting 4 courses, the courses are so small, that it is equivalent to maybe 2 courses at other places. I left feeling a bit hungry, still. So paying for 2 courses worth of food, for $85 - definitely not cheap. And the ambiance doesn't make up for it; this is not some fine dining, white tablecloth, really amazing service place. Its a casual-mid restaurant by any standards. No bread to start with, not even to order. The table next to us asked, in order to mop up some of the delicious clam broth. Nope. Don't have bread. Nor do they give amuse bouche or petit fours, like most other set menu type restaurants do, to round out the meal. Is the food good? Yes, it was good. But for the (ever increasing) pricing and the portion sizes - I'd say this is a poor choice.

Jessica B.

Yelp
Friendly service, creative menu, excellent wine selections and cute ambiance. Most of the culinary options in Key West felt a bit basic, so this was an amazing find that exceeded expectations!

Yelp
I don't know if it's the location, because Seven Fish was my favorite when it was located here. But Little Pearl was an outstanding replacement. Eat at the bar to be a part of the kitchen scene. Food is superb and service matches. My new favorite place in Key West.

Yelp
Beauty dinner with amazing food, staff, and ambience! Will come back over and over again!

Yelp
We had a lovely meal at Little Pearl - the food and experience is at the fine dining level and it was very enjoyable. We were only able to get reservations and 5pm (the 7pm and 9pm seatings were booked well in advance) but it worked out because we had our choice of tables and we were able to dine al fresco and enjoy the perfect 76 degree Key West evening. We started off with the special of the day grilled octopus with chimichurri nam prik - which was probably the best octopus I've ever had. I then had the maguro usuzukuri, which was very good, and the Maine lobster with burrata and Thai basil which was amazing! My meat course was the petite osso buco which was perfectly prepared - tender yet slightly gelatinous with the bone marrow to be sucked out. Dinner was rounded out with a pleasant cheese course with a lot of tasty fruits.

Yelp
This was our 25th wedding anniversary and my husbands 50th bday dinner and it did not disappoint. It was a well deserved splurge that was amazing. The service was stellar and the food was to die for. All course just kept exceeding our expectations. Most surprising was the ghost pepper lychee sorbet, so so good. Such a quaint little place. Great ambiance. A hidden gem... or should I say pearl.

Yelp
So excited to try this intimate restaurant. Had done my due diligence about it online and had tried several times to make a reservation but it was always fully booked. We finally scored a 5pm seating on a Tuesday night. Arrived early so we were offered the opportunity to order wine and sit outside at a table. We ordered a bottle and when my husband tried the wine, he said it needed to breathe. Food was beautifully plated, and for me, 3 of the 4 courses were very good. My husband had a terrible experience with his courses. He said 1 of the 4 was good. Too salty for his taste. The wine never opened fully for him and it ruined his experience. The restaurant was not full so when I received my third course and it wasn't what I ordered, I thought the correct one would come out quickly. Not the case. My husband finished his third course before mine arrived. Apologies were given. I'm on the fence as to whether to return. For a $330 dinner for two, the experience wasn't memorable.

Yelp
Having stumbled upon this gem of a place, we sadly didn't have a reservation to try the food. Instead we sat at the bar and enjoyed a couple glasses of wine recommended by the bartender. The place is small but has an intimate feel to it, with limited seating indoors and some outside tables. Hopefully, next time we'll have the opportunity to dine-in and see what the fuss is all about!

Yelp
On this third visit to Little Pearl for a BIG birthday celebration we were once again showered with excellence. Let me be clear that the first visit was five years ago--outstanding I still recall. The second visit was days before the world shut down due to Covid. Again--they delivered stellar quality all the way around the restaurant. Then, last week, for the biggie birthday, the service was on point, not overly solicitous and the food was creative and bite after bite delicious. The oysters were the best we ever recalled enjoying and the Queen Snapper was flavored subtly to allow the freshness to shine. Consistency is missing in many many restaurants these days--as is service where employees seem often to not possess the heart for service. Not here at Little Pearl! Service and quality are alive and well! Can't wait for visit number 4. But until then, I have been reminded of what I SHOULD, and will, expect for the higher prices I pay for a nice meal out. Way to set the bar high, Little Pearl team, on quality in a time when many forget they should expect to be showered with excellence.

Yelp
WOW! If I could afford it I'd eat here constantly. I was so impressed with the flavor combinations. This was hands down my best Keywest meal. I would happily eat at any restaurant this chef cooked at. Highly reccomend.

Yelp
Some of the most creative food in Key West. All dishes I've had were well executed. ***** The service is good, what you would expect from a restaurant in this price range. **** The ambience is lively. Located in what looks to be a 50s era garage, it's surprising how inviting the space actually is.****

Charlotte P.

Yelp
It was a very intimate location! The food was amazing. Unique but wonderful. Especially enjoyed the choices. Staff was also very pleasant.

Yelp
From being seated to leaving, it was hands down one of the best food experiences I've ever had. The intimate setting allowed for amazing connection with my wife. The music set a very chill ambiance. The seasoning and flavor profiles of each course were through the roof phenomenal. With a menu that changes every 6 weeks, we'll return to Key West every six weeks just to try the new courses.

Yelp
Favorite spot by far! Tasting menu hit all the notes I wished to enjoy that evening. Jess offered pointers when needed and no dish disappointed. Favs were the dumplings and the crispy squid in ink. Vanilla purin was subtly decadent. Look forward to returning !

Yelp
Beautiful quaint atmosphere with top quality food and service. My wife and I went while visiting Key West and this was our favorite by far. A bit pricey, but 100% worth every penny as we enjoyed four courses of delicious variety, great wine and wonderful service. I cannot recommend enough. Call for reservations!

Yelp
Service is good but food is just too weird for me. And it is very small as well has a very small Menu

Yelp
Go. Figure out how to get a reservation and book it now. We thought we had a reservation when we showed up but the person booking couldn't find the confirmation number. The server ran to his car, got a fold out table, and made a table for us. Unparalleled customer service. The waitress was kind, quick and knowledgeable. We went on a night there was a tasting menu and it was incredible. Got a little bit of everything and it was the perfect amount of food. Yes yes and please go here immediately.

Yelp
This was without doubt the best dinner we had in Key West. The location was lovely and I felt that their $85 pp tasting menu was fair priced. You are given a choice out of three for each one of the courses and I can say that the variance would make this menu a good fit for different diets. First course: this was the least favorite of all 4 courses for us. I had the Shishito Peppers while my partner opted for the 'Summer Watermelon' *which is basically cucumbers with tuna filling. They were both ok but nothing mind blowing. Second course: we both had the shrimp dumplings and absolutely loved it. Third course: the Local day boat - a sort of 'catch of the day' plate was yellowtail snapper for us with vegetables/potatoes and it was to die for! Very simple, local, tasty and healthy. Last course/dessert: I had the cheese plate which I thought was a good size and had a good selection while my partner had the blackcurrant sorbet and he was also happy with this refreshing treat. Overall, with the wine the bill was around $250 - little high for the area but very fair for what we are used in DC. So def worth a try!

Yelp
We have been coming several times to Little Pearl when we lived in Key West in 2019, we loved the food and ambience. We recently returned to Key West and was looking forward to come back to one of our favorite restaurants on the island. Sadly we found out they had decided to use seatings. This normally removes any restaurant from our list, however we decided to give it a try. They offered a 4 course set menu where with three options per course, at $75 per person, which we booked. Food and wine was amazing, service was friendly, though in line with their seating "policy", dishes came way too quickly after each other "rushing" the meal, which was very annoying! On top of that the leadership/ownership had become greedy. When we got the check, the price had gone up to $85 per person. Their explanation; it was their boss who had decided to raise the price the day before. They did not make that clear when we arrived, nor when they called earlier that day to confirm our reservation. It's not the money as such, it's the principle and their attitude. Hence Little Pearl is off our list of Key West top spots, fortunately their are other great places to go.

Yelp
The wagyu was over powered by the fried dough. The tuna had no flavor, the short rib was dry and chewy, the wasabi had been sitting so long it tasted root, the udon had no flavor and feel apart in the bowl, the crudo was chewy, and when I said something they said "oh ok". I have had no problem spending a lot of money on dinner but I want it to be good. Honestly I am really annoyed I wasted my time going there.

Yelp
Foodie Alert! If you are a foodie you can find some of the better restaurants off Duval and slightly away from the crowds. Little Pearl is exactly one of those pearls. I ordered the multi course meal which started with a delicious corn based chowder. There were several enticing main entries including the shrimp and grits which featured fresh shrimp and was flavorful. The surprise of the eventing was the popcorn creme brûlée and the combination worked well. Service was pleasant and efficient and they were even kind enough to accommodate without a reservation. This is a beautiful little restaurant. The only disappointment was that while the restaurant was very stringent on Covid protocol including temperature checks, I noticed the back kitchen cooks with their masks on their chins which is unacceptable and hypocritical.

Yelp
Amazing food. All the choices are great so you can't go wrong. The local shrimp and the coconut muscles were so good that I had to post a review.

Yelp
Not a lot of food, but amazing food. The courses I chose were contrasting in texture and flavor. If you like unique experiences, based on what the chef feels like making that week, you will be as ecstatic as I was. My server agreed to curate wine pairings for each course, and wow was that a home run. I would have never gotten close, nor would I have chosen what she did to perfectly compliment the meal.

Yelp
Get you reservation! You will not be disappointed. Sake made a nice pairing with all the courses. Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
Quick summary: overall a positive experience but the potpie was inedible. Started with oysters, which were very nice although I would have preferred the dressing atop to be on the side. My wife had the Gazpacho, which was citrusy and refreshing and exactly what she wanted. For our main courses, I had the Lobster, shrimp, and crab potpie, which was a huge mistake. I did not want to make a scene or ruin my wife's dinner so stayed silent. Awfully fishy and pungent. Seafood Potpie: 1 Snapper: 4 Dessert: 4 Environment and service: 4
