"Little Purse has two locations in Terminal C, a tiny dining room with one central velvet booth near Gate 75, and a larger space closer to Gate 103. Both make for a low-stakes meal you can have at a real table, without committing to spending hundreds of dollars on a dry steak. The prices are affordable for the airport—five dumplings will run you $11—and there are kid-friendly options like mac and cheese and chicken tenders if your toddler changes their mind about wanting lo mein for dinner. Fantastic dumplings! Please please do yourself a favor and get the veggie dumplings. They are so good. The sweet-and-sour chicken was pretty good as well. The chicken dumplings, but by far the veggie dumplings are a winner. Match it with a nice beer and you are good to go. Ambience is contemporary American Asian very cool music pumping throughout. You don’t feel like you’re in the Newark airport. So transport yourself to Asia and come on by.

The service was super slow. Even the water came after 10 minutes. Ordered Asian salad, shishito peppers and vegetable dumplings. Food was good! Asian salad had apples and was a little tangy and filled with almonds. Shishito peppers had some pear/ fig candy coated with spices, it was really really good! Dumplings had peas and broccoli filling, skin was very thin. It tasted good, but was missing the side of chilly sauce or something.

Google
This wasn't very good. Had to order with a QR code even though they had like 3 or 4 servers standing around. The kimchi dumplings were just dumplings with cold kimchi added to the bowl. The ramen was pretty bland imo. Also didn't see anywhere that you get a discount if you have a United Card until after i paid. So just keep that in mind if you wanna try this place, its 20% off i think. Overall its just some normal overpriced crap airport food.

Google
Disappointed in the dumplings from here. This place specializes, so they should have specialty sauces. The dumplings taste like frozen dumplings you get out the bag. The waiter customer service was excellent.

Terrible Experience – Avoid This Place! I placed an order on March 23rd, and my card was charged twice. I spoke to an Indian male staff member about it and asked for a cancellation, but he kept lying and insisted that I was only charged once. Frustrated, I decided to cancel the order altogether and requested a refund. It’s now been over two weeks, and I still haven’t received my money back. To make things worse, he added a 30% tip without my permission. This was by far the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. I hope no one else has to go through the same situation. Order number: 250323013000801 If you see this, refund me immediately.

Google
Do not, I repeat do NOT order a ramen at this place. It is the worse ramen I have ever tried in my entire life. Check the picture, those noodles are just a big lump of overcooked pasta. The egg is just a plain boiled egg and the broth tastes nothing. Surprisingly the porc piece was decent. Not amazing mind you but I managed to eat it. An instant ramen tastes much better than this. The rest of the meal was ok.

Little Purse Dumpling Den at Newark Liberty International Airport - Disappointing Experience During a layover in Newark on our way to Portugal, we decided to try something different and found ourselves at the Little Purse Dumpling Den. We seated ourselves, as is standard these days, and after a few minutes, the waitress handed us menus and directed us to use a QR code for ordering. She brought us water, and unfortunately, this is where the experience took a downturn. The water had a strange, unpleasant taste, clearly indicating the filter hadn’t been changed in months, making it undrinkable. Despite this, we chose to stay, hoping the food would make up for it. We ordered the Korean Spicy Salad and a portion of chicken and vegetable dumplings, intending it to be more of a snack. Sadly, the salad was bland and lacked any real flavor or substance. Both of us took a bite, but we couldn’t bring ourselves to finish it—quite unusual, especially for those who were raised to clean their plates. However, to be fair, the dumplings were a pleasant surprise. They were tender on the outside and flavorful on the inside, which was the one redeeming part of the meal. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant. The management should consider dining as regular patrons to understand what they’re offering and make the necessary improvements. Otherwise, I can’t see them lasting much longer if this is the standard they’re setting.

Google
Gutted that I didn’t check the reviews before indulging in this place. The food (which were priced bounty for a small portion size) tasted bland and nowhere near eastern cusine. If you ask for such a fee, at least have a chef with local knowledge who can cook proper food. Frankly, the dumpling seemed like they bought frozen and just fried it in a pan, it was so salty and tetrible. Service…let me not get there, the guy was bringing bowls in his hand…no trays or anything, so unhygenif af. I guess there is no wuality control whatsoever at the airport. I really pray that people can see the reviews next time and not make the mistake i made. Only positive I can say from the experience is that I didnt get a stomach ache!!

Ace A.

Yelp
Dumpling taste like it was from a frozen bag Chicken with Rice was horrible. Rice was not sticky and chicken's sauce was so bad. Food came in 30 minutes after ordered after asking where our food was.

Christian A.

Yelp
My pho had a tiny piece of meat that was mostly fat. The cilantro tasted like it was grown on the tarmac. It seems like they doused the whole thing in cinnamon to mask the flavor. Just awful all around. We had to practically beg for water. If this weren't in an airport it wouldn't last a week.

Campbell L.

Yelp
Food was good, but expected better. Service lacked, as they have you order from QR codes. Ambiance is so beyond mediocre because you sit across from strangers, instead of across from the people you're with. They sit parties in rows... bizarre. Wouldn't come back.

Melissa S.

Yelp
I can't speak for all dishes, of course, but either something changed or people are exaggerating. I was served at the small, cozy location by gate 80. The ambiance is really chill and the staff were very kind, courteous, and responsive. I was in and out in maybe 20 mins tops. The kimchi dumplings were not the highest quality, but they were decent. I'd say average. The shishito peppers were served in a style I wasn't used to, slightly sweet with dried apricots, so I just didn't eat the apricots and added extra soy sauce for more saltiness. They could improve that a bit. Overall, the price for what you get, considering this is an airport, was not bad. Unlike other food places in the airport which might mention a specific chef's name, this place made no such claims. That being said, I'd probably try something else next time hoping for a better experience.

Lisa N.

Yelp
Big yikes. If I could learn from my mistakes, I would know NOT to come here. Why does airport food have to be so expensive? Like if the flavor was good, I might overlook the price. Maybe.. However, it was expensive and didn't meet my expectations. You might want to check it out BECAUSE of the cool interior. That's the only thing going for them. Dumplings are not fresh. Service was ok. You sit down, order via QR code, and pay upfront. I don't like how they ask for a suggested tip. Like I don't know even how the service will be like? How long will I wait for my food? Will the server check up on me? I got seated at a table that didn't look like it was wiped down? I saw a semi used napkin still on the table. I asked the server for some new napkins. I got the pork tonkotsu ramen $19.69 and pork and vegetable dumplings $10.59. I've had a fair share of ramen in my life and this was bland. I needed some togarashi or something. No spice whatsoever. They just had the cheap knock off version of sriracha. Menu said it would be a soft boiled egg and I got hard boiled. 1 thin slice of pork. Noodles were overcooked. For the price, I was very disappointed. I was hungry so of course I had to finish it. At least the dumplings were semi good. Meh save your money and time and go elsewhere.

James W.

Yelp
Let's start with the good. Our server, Bella, was wonderful. She welcomed us and when the food wasn't great (it was terrible), she brought us something else. They were nice enough to give us glasses of ice for our water bottles, too. Now the bad. The ramen was the worst ramen I have ever had. This includes the Top Ramen and Cup O Noodles I made in college. The boiled egg was overcooked AND cold inside (precooked egg). My wife ordered the "Korean Fried Chicken". More like chicken nuggets with a tasteless, syrupy glaze on it. Even the broccoli was too embarrassed to have flavor. The dumplings were ok, but the "steamed" one were served at room temperature. All in all, the decor was enough to fool us into not checking Yelp. Luckily, you won't make the same mistake. Try anywhere else.

Linda W.

Yelp
Standard airport fare Portions are small. Each noodle dish is about $20 but probably half the size of a ramen place They did have kids menu for 12.99, chicken tender and fries or buttered noodles And beers were $15 And tip expected when ordering. Except no one cleaned our table so we sat at a dirty table for 15 minutes before our food came. And then we didn't get water or utensils. I did resent that they wanted too upfront

Diem A.

Yelp
Come with low expectations and you won't be too disappointed. The food and service here was very sub par.

Darryl B.

Yelp
Another over priced airport restaurant. The food had more flavor than others. A nice menu selection of Ramen

Sarah W.

Yelp
I wish I had looked up the reviews before I sat down and ate here / spent $ here. Positives: Really kind staff. They greeted me warmly and answered all my questions about vouchers and ordering online with kindness. When I asked for a new meal because my ramen was so bad, they happily and readily gave me a replacement. I thought this was great. Also really cute decor. But like another reviewer said, don't be fooled and equate this with good food. Good Sauvignon blanc! Also, the chargers at the table were a perk. Negatives: Tonkatsu ramen was extremely salty and fishy. I couldn't stomach it and asked for the fried chicken instead. I NEVER return food at a restaurant - and I feel bad because I see how hard everyone works here - But it was truly not edible. Fried chicken - also a 1/5. Half was warm and half was lukewarm. Clearly frozen prior. Not a big deal at an airport but for the price point it was disappointing. Broccoli was also soggy and definitely frozen. Overall: a really disappointing experience. :( would never come back. :(

Devin R.

Yelp
Awful, overpriced food. Gross flies everywhere! Ordered Korean fried chicken bowl and got Orange chicken bits instead. No bigger than a nickel, full of air, no chicken. Hate to do this but it needs to be said

Amanda R.

Yelp
Decent food for a quick bite at the airport. I had the chicken teriyaki bowl. The staff was very courteous and quick with the service.

J C.

Yelp
Order 10 dumplings here. No hint of kimchi from kimchi dumpling and food was mid. The server was very unhappy when I did not give him 20% tip for to go. All he did was handed me to go box when it was done. AlsoI literally entered all the credit card information because they do not provide apple pay.

Robert W.

Yelp
Stopped at Little Purse Dumpling in the airport as we were looking for a place to eat and sit while waiting for our flight. I really wished I had looked online at the reviews before sitting down here as the terrible reviews are fully correct. The menu is small and you order on your phone which has nice pictures of the food. The food items are all rather expensive even for airport food so I went with one of the cheaper options - the shrimp dumplings. They were like $15 and came out with 0 presentation in a white plastic bowl with the dipping sauce in a small one time use plastic. The dumplings were clearly made off site by a machine and lacked any flavor at all. The portion sizes were small and it was plain old bad. I prefer the Trader Joe's frozen dumplings over these. My partner also ordered ramen and it looked nothing like the image and had 0 flavor. I am not usually one to write bad reviews on Yelp, but this was truly a terrible experience.

Dove R.

Yelp
Keep walking, this place is NOT worth it. I sat myself. I used my phone to get the menu and ordered and paid online. Lol they added an automatic tip, before you even place your order! Friend, that is not how the service industry works. Food was bland, they just took sesame chicken and called it Korean fried chicken. 2 people left before even ordering they were so frustrated and a table of 6 complained at least 3x. Truly this place is a joke. If I hadn't been FORCED to prepay (and pre tip!) I would have walked away 15 min ago.

Angela E.

Yelp
I'm not quite sure why such harsh reviews. I came here to grab something to eat while waiting for my flight. Staff were friendly and helpful. The shop is cute, setup like a back alley Chinese dumpling shop. The food was really good - I had the salad and the veggie dumplings. They were delicious and a great option to the greasy burgers I saw at all the other places. My only complaint - it's rather pricey considering you do your own ordering and the staff just carries your food in plastic bowls to the table. It cost me $32 for salad and dumplings - no meat, just veggies. I know things are pricey at airports but this seemed excessive.

Elizabeth Y.

Yelp
Second time coming here while waiting in a flight and it was great! I was able to quickly sit at the bar and place my order. I got the pork dumplings and the tonkontsu ramen. The food was made fast and was very tasty! The server was extremely kind and attentive as well!

Vivek D.

Yelp
Think some of the reviews may be a bit unrealistic due to the fact that this is airport dining after all and everything is directly and/or indirectly by OTG. It's not the worst vegan ramen I've ever had..... of course you're not getting NYC-level ramen or Chinatown ramen, but I thought the vegan ramen was edible. It's not like the other dining options are THAT much better here.... it's an airport anyways. Prices are what they are.... we're in the NYC area inside an airport. Things I have no control over. Stupid me failed to realize that my browser history was connected to a different QR code than the one I ultimately sat next to. Slightly inconvenienced the waitresses, but I admit that mistake. Anyhow, I wanted something a bit different and not heavy before my redeye and I got that.

Donicia D.

Yelp
Dumplings 8/10 Ramen 2/10 Drinks 7/10 Would definitely recommend coming here for drinks or appetizers. The ambiance is nice, however the ramen wasn't at all flavorful and for the price I was quite disappointed. The service was good, and I liked that you could order by scanning the QR code, but I unfortunately would not recommend dinning here.

Alex M.

Yelp
(Overall: 50% | F) - I ordered the Chicken Bowl, which is definitely not Korean but does provide enough flavor to support the dish as if it were an alternative to Orange Chicken. Unfortunately, it was too salty and the overall dish looks like elementary school cafeteria food rather than something someone would pay money for at a restaurant -- especially considering the unpleasantness of unseasoned steamed broccoli. The saving grace is that they have chairs and outlets to sit at a busy airport, but even then, my mood was quickly ruined by the sheer rudeness and disrespect by the employees of this establishment. IG: @amei.eats

Jade C.

Yelp
Cute but overpriced. The seating is very cute and you order via QR code on your smart phone. Service was okay, this model is very impersonal. Ordered an appetizer sampler and my food was cutely piled on a tiny plate: two vegetable dumplings, 2 ribs, and 2 chicken wing pieces. This was $24 with tip. The vegetable dumplings were greasy and flavorless, the ribs were delicious and well seasoned, the chicken was okay. Each piece was about 2 bites of food. If you have a baby appetite or like spending too much to still be hungry, it's a place for you.

Katherine G.

Yelp
I have a love of peanuts and ordered a pricey airport salad because of it. It was delivered without peanuts and with a different dressing than the menu stated. At this place you pay ahead when ordering. I asked for the peanuts after the fact and the correct dressing before eating. Nobody could find anything. It wasnt very good. If something is 86 they should alert the customer.

Leah A.

Yelp
At Newark Airport, I frequently dine at Little Purse Dumpling because the food is consistently good, the atmosphere is nice with good music, and it is rarely crowded. Since it was brunch hour, I tried the vegetable and chicken dumplings. Both orders arrived hot and crisp from the fryer! The vegetable dumplings had a tasty blend of kale, corn, and tofu, not your typical fillings. The portion sizes were good for the price, especially since airport food prices are inflated. I am happy that this option is available because it has different offerings than other restaurants in Terminal C.

Marie F.

Yelp
Wow. A new airport low (Newark). Do these photos even look like they're in the same ballpark? (Menu photo vs. what I was just served after 30 minute wait during a non-busy time). Stopped here for a decent meal instead of Hudson News candy bars and trail mix. Big mistake. $21 doesn't even warrant a real bowl?? And the QR code ordering forces a pre-tip, with 15% being the lowest amount offered as a selection. MAYBE there's an airport requirement for establishments to use takeout containers only, but I seriously doubt it. Server tried to be nice, greeting and saying thank you and nice things to passersby, etc. But seriously? This is beyond ridiculous. This could be the best Pork Tonkatsu Ramen I've ever had (it isn't), and this would still be a 1-star review due to the sheer lack of interest in any level of decent patron experience. Oy vey.

Jonghan L.

Yelp
Writing a five star review to troll the owners of this god awful establishment, who might be expecting heaping praise of the food. Where to begin... Airport food is in general more to be desired but little purse really knocks it out of the park. Overpriced? Checked. Mushy old veggies? Checked? Non authentic Korean food that's more like orange chicken you get at Panda Express? Absolutely checked. I'm not sure if I'm more offended by the ~$23 for the Korean chicken bowl, or the way too sweet sauce that literally makes the chicken swim in it, to the stale and bland broccoli comes with it, to the lack of proper service here (I mean come on if you're making us pay that much at least try to do your jobs) Come here to get disappointed, Five stars guaranteed for that

Mark C.

Yelp
Ok, so it's the airport, but it looked promising. I ordered a Diet Coke and an order of pork and kimchi dumplings. The Diet Coke was $4.99 for what amounts to a shot glass worth. I know airports are expensive but that's basically gauging. The dumplings had one flavor to them. Salt. The pork was fairly tasteless, except salt and I dig in and found no trace of kimchi. Fairly sad excuse for what I was hoping would be a good spot to visit as I pass through Newark on regular layovers. Not worth the cost.

Sunil R.

Yelp
As far as airport restaurants go, this one is pretty good. I am surprised at the low ratings. All the signs were in Chinese which was cool, there is bar seating and tables available as well. I was not too keen to sit at the bar and the waiter seated me at a table though it was just me because he said he liked my vest. ;-) I got the Korean Fried chicken which came with rice and broccoli. It was decent. And again relatively speaking for airport food...this was good. I liked the no-touch ordering and payment system they have.

Samson B.

Yelp
This restaurant sucks. My family, and I had a layover in Newark, and we were hungry, we decided to go to this restaurant, and it was awful. First off there is one person working there so service is super slow, the restaurant was very empty and was very dark, the tables were awful there were screens in front of you while sitting, and you could not even order water, finally after 30 minutes our food comes out, and the food is not good, it does not even look like authentic Asian food. If I were stuck in Newark again I would not go here, and I recommend you dont go here too.

Mindy W.

Yelp
Dear Lord. Do NOT. I repeat DO NOT eat here. I'm a yelper but never thought to Check ratings before coming here to eat. Just had the worst food I have ever put in my mouth. It was $50 for water, beer, and a bowl of Ramen, which happened to be the worst bowl of Ramen I have ever eaten in my life. I hope I've saved someone.

Vanessa V.

Yelp
Needed a quick bite to bring on the plane, the waitress was super quick and helpful. You order everything online. I ordered dumpling and potstickers. They were delicious, only complaint is the packaging. if they know they're at an airport where people are running where people are getting food to go. They should really consider that packaging. When I opened my dumplings as well as the potstickers packaging. The sauce was everywhere. They didn't even have tops. They just kind of put foil on it so didn't appreciate that.

Christopher D.

Yelp
I don't usually write reviews on Yelp. But if I can save even one person their precious time and money by leaving this one then it will have been well worth it. Don't be fooled by the cool looking decor and atmosphere. The food is absolutely awful. And for how much it costs, that is truly an offense. Cheap bad food is one thing. Expensive terrible food is another. The dumplings are clearly made elsewhere and microwaved. The ramen has zero flavor. It was hands down the worst airport food I've ever had. The worst ramen I've ever had. It's hard to even call it ramen. The worst soup I've ever had. Quite possibly the worst meal I've ever had in my 34 years of living. Though I will take a moment to say that the service was good and the workers were pleasant. Please, please eat anywhere else in Terminal C and you'll have a much better beginning to your trip.

Carmi A.

Yelp
Emanuel was amazing great service with care Great food&drinks Beautiful and clean Great stop between flights

Morgan B.

Yelp
The Kincaid ribs were delicious. They were perfectly cooked. My issue was with the service. They did not come over with a table setting or water until my order was done. This is a walk up service. You order using the QR code on the tables. The servers seemed new and weren't sure what orders went to what table. The labels were very small next to the QR code. A gentleman dropped off dumplings that I did not order at my table even though I said they were not mine. Another waitress walked over and said did you order those, I said no, she asked if I wanted them she would charge me. I said you can take them and throw them away since they sat at my table for 5 minutes before she came over. She went to ask her manager and came back 10 minutes later and said it was fine.

E. L.

Yelp
It's fine for airport food, which is to say that nobody not currently locked in the Saw trap that is Newark Airport would eat there, but that doesn't matter because guess where it is. Ramen broth is comically too salty. Dumplings are fine but also tend too salty. QR menus are always annoying but why expect better, this is the hell world we live in now. To eat here is to give up, which we all must do atime.

Jackson W.

Yelp
Got the fried dumplings and tonkatsu ramen here. The dumplings were passable. The ramen was worse than the instant ramen I make at home. Price is as expected unreasonably high and service meets the bare minimum standards.

John F.

Yelp
Food was not good. Vegetable fried rice was not even close to authentic. Good luck getting anyone to come by for a refill. Rip off

C Hayley H.

Yelp
The dining options at EWR airport are limited, but I took a shot at trying this spot for a dinner before my flight. After being seated, there was minimal human interaction, which could be a pro or con depending on your perspective. I enjoyed that I could order, review the food options in depth, and pay at my table without having to wait to catch a busy server. As this restaurant is near gates where United is, there are options to leverage your points to pay for your meal. $15 for a small sampler didn't seem atrocious for airport pricing. The food itself though was not great, though I did not have high expectations.

Elizabeth A.

Yelp
Fast and delicioso it didn't disappoint me. We had an hour before our flight so why not wings and fried rice ! Both are tasty and good. Services was also quick and the ambience it's very convenient, instead of the quick cold sandwich this is a good option.

Scott A.

Yelp
Ay yi yi! RUN! Run away as fast as you can. Yes, I realize that it's in an airport, but it's expensive and disgusting. Oh, and did I mention you don't even get waited on? You order off a QR code. It's like a Newark scheme to just vacuum up your money and leave you sitting on the pavement, poorer, disoriented, and sick to your stomach. It's not even worth discussing the food. It's awful, gelatinous, and flavorless. Does my photo make you lick your lips? This is like garbage that Panda Express wouldn't serve. Don't trust the photos in the electronic menu. The food is different. It barely even tastes Chinese. I'm not sure what flavor was in the fried rice -- maybe sludge jambalaya? It's just dreadful!

Immaculate I.

Yelp
The Korean fried chicken should just be called something else because the sickly sweet sauce and non-crispy chicken with weird rice shouldn't share a name with real Korean fried chicken. The Asian salad was okay. I added pork belly...I probably shouldn't have but I was just hungry and well... it was a long layover with delays. At these airport prices, I wouldn't return nor would I recommend it.

Mariur K.

Yelp
Why is this place still open? Do not be fooled by the images. The food is a little overpriced, with no taste AT ALL. Service is bad, rude and unprofessional employees. The only thing good about this place is the atmosphere and setup.

Edward Y.

Yelp
Ambiance and staff were friendly enough, but my expectation for a $20+ bowl of tonkatsu and $20+ plate of Korean fried chicken should taste better than something I could half heartedly attempt at home. The tonkatsu broth had one pork slice, zero umami to it and no salt. Very bland. The Korean fried chicken tasted like chicken tenders mixed with pre-made sauce with plain rice that wasn't quite fully cooked with plain broccoli. I was expecting actual chicken wings deep fried and battered, not boneless tender pieces. Pictures did not match what we got - tonkatsu broth is supposed to be milky, not clear. I even asked the wait staff if we received the correct order because I've never seen a clear broth tonkatsu ramen. If I was shooting for a relatively heart healthy meal with not that much flavor then this is the place for you. Granted I know airport food will be pricy and speed is important but when the food taste quality is this lackluster, there's no way I can in good conscience recommend this to any friends or family.

Pui-See Y.

Yelp
Was craving for some Asian dumplings after a day full of flight cancellations and I just wanted to eat. Passed by this place and it looked packed, but wanted to find out where my gate was before I decided (just in case of another cancellation). I've return back and it was still full. This was in the C concourse gates up to 113 I think. The staff will ask if you're dining or take out. I dined in and she sat me at the bar. There's a QR code for the menu and it also indicates where the order is coming from. I didn't get the dumplings and went for the Korean rice bowl with fried chicken. The menu said 5 pieces of chicken, so I was assuming 5 tender sizes. It came out like Panda Express's orange chicken. I was ok with it. Had rice and a side of steamed broccoli. It tasted fine, but definitely Americanized "Korean" chicken. What can you ask for when you're at an airport, a busy one at that. Price was on the higher side, like I said, airport. Just thankful that my order was put in right when I ordered through my phone and came within 10 minutes. The couple next to me was there before me and got their food towards the end of my meal. They ordered 3 items and only 1 came, so when the girl saw my dish coming out she was concerned. At the end, we all ate and left.

Heather S.

Yelp
Looking for a vegan option in EWR can be challenging as there are only a few to choose from. Enter LPD with a vegan ramen! The reviews looked a bit rough but when I walked up I was greeted by a manager who was running food and brought me a glass of water quickly. Sitting at the bar I could watch the staff preparing the food and Mateen (I think his jacket said) had the kitchen humming. He was training folks, looking over each order before it was brought out, making adjustments where needed. Calm, polite and helpful, keeping the dishes moving out to the tables in quick succession. How was it? Absolutely delicious! Hearty noodles, great mushrooms, carrots, edamame and bean shoots. The broth was flavored well, not overly salty and had the perfect lime tang. I would definitely get this dish again if I found myself hungry in EWR Terminal C!

Derek n.

Yelp
Absolutely the worst service ever. Their online ordering app stopped working and their "wait staff" just stood there, not taking orders. Why would you even tip these people if you order your food online with no interaction with them and all they do is maybe carry it to your table ten minutes after it sat on a table. Oh, and the food isn't good. Absolutely terrible by any standard and the worst restaurant staff I have experienced in a long time. Now watch an automated response will come from the company shortly. "Thank you for taking the time to review". Lol

Yelp
DO NOT COME! Complete rip off for the price and just trying to take advantage of the hungry people of gate 107. Overcooked, soggy chicken and two pieces of broccoli for $30?! All while being sloppily thrown on a plate with no care. Have it a chance despite the reviews (mostly out of convenience), but should have listened to my fellow yelpers. Don't make my same mistake!

Yelp
Located inside one of the EWR C gates. Staffs were very friendly and helpful. Eat here when you have extra time. Noticed some of the clients waiting for their food and it's close to door close. Food is salty. Vegetable fried rice is more on fried rice and hardly any vegetables. If you need a rice; this is the place to be. No other similar Asian food area around. Use your United Mileage card to get 20 percent off. Tip is customized. Cashless counter. Food portion is huge. Great service! 11-8-2021

Yelp
This is your typical airport fast food place with ordering iPads which suck, but that's just normal, and not anyones fault. What was amazing were all the strange, quirks and features of this restaurant that made me feel so sad for the people who worked there. First off, food is editable and satisfying, if a little bland. So that's one thing. Other than that the place is chaos. The tables are dirty, cutlery is left out, and your food doesn't come with napkins, chopsticks, knives, forks, etc. I think this is because the system is so bad. There seemed to be plenty of staff, but they were constantly confused. They were also pretty beat down from the constant stream of complaints that I heard from customers. The lady behind the counter apologized so many times and claimed things were not her fault (when I was not yelling and just trying to show empathy.) that behavior shows me that the culture at this place is totally broken, so you have to just save your own skin. I paid for three people to have a bowl, two shared starters, and a beer and the price came out to $148! So you combine ransom prices, stressed out patrons, and employees broken by a deranged system, you get a dumpster fire. Food for the three of us was served out over about a leisurely 45 minutes. From a fast food place! At an airport! The number of people who paid and then walked out without food because they had to make a flight was shocking. And it's not like the employees didn't care. You could see they felt terrible. But it doesn't matter. We had starters eventually served after mains, drinks brought out after that, the wrong order delivered twice, and doubles of one other dish. I can't imagine the food waste and cost waste that is going on there. All the patrons were bonded in a kind of clown-show humor and shared trauma event, with the legend of the suck being passed down from one person to the next. If you have the time, and the money, and a twisted sense of humor, this place would be a fascinating anthropological study of a workplace gone bad. If you are are a restauranteur, I would guess you could poach these employees from this place in under 30 seconds.

Yelp
If you like re-heated pre-prepared food from Costco, delivered by indifferent staff at high prices, then this is the place for you. Even better is the open kitchen that allows you to see the low-cost ingredients and careless preparation that go into your meal. This place is a must visit for those who like to set their money on fire.
