The Best Cinnamon Rolls In NYC - New York - The Infatuation

"Park Slope’s Little Red Kitchen Bake Shop only makes cinnamon rolls on Saturday mornings starting at 10am. They tend to sell out, but you can preorder online to avoid disappointment—and these rolls are worth planning your day around. They’re soft and squishy, with a buttery glaze that soaks into each layer, and an impressively caramelized bottom." - willa moore, molly fitzpatrick, bryan kim, will hartman

Little Red Kitchen Bake Shop - Review - Park Slope - New York - The Infatuation

"Little Red Kitchen Bake Shop sticks out like the sweetest thumb on a stretch of 4th Avenue that’s otherwise pretty boring. Out of this tiny, bright red Park Slope storefront, a woman named Susan has been cranking out cookies, cookie pies, and brookies since 2024. Her husband is often at the register, occasionally yelling to the back for information, like what special flavor cinnamon bun they’re doing this Friday. But our favorite time to visit is on Saturday mornings. That's when the soft, squishy, classic cinnamon rolls make an appearance, starting at 10am. They're buttery and glazed, with dark, caramelized bottoms. Their specials are worth a try too, like a Dubai chocolate egg, which bursts with a thick, peanut butter-adjacent pistachio paste as soon as you bite into it. photo credit: Willa Moore" - Willa Moore

DAMN!!! That cinnamon bun is 🔥🔥🔥 It's really hard not to want to buy all the things but we managed to get out with just a chocolate babka bun, a brookie which is yes chocolate chip cookie with a brownie stuffed inside it -- we definitely needed that!, and of course, the incredible cinnamon bun! Lots of tempting treats you have not seen other places including strawberry crispy cookies, rainbow cookies that are made with natural coloring, cookie pie and more. Plus delicious classics like Blondies, millionaire bars, chocolate chip cookies, etc.. Plus, there are savory goodies, lots of gluten-free options and and an array of hot and cold beverages to wash them down! Get it. You'll not regret it!

It was my birthday weekend and we walked in around 2 pm. I had heard that you need to show up early to secure their cinnamon buns so I was hoping for a birthday miracle. I was beyond elated to find they still had 2 left and I must say it was absolutely ahh-mazing! My wife is gluten free so she was jealous but luckily they had plenty of gf options for her. The owner was very sweet and I want to thank her for adding the cherry on top of a great birthday weekend. We will be visiting every chance we get.

Heard about this bake shop and went to pay a visit and I was not disappointed at all. From the moment I walk in, the vibes, energy and atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The owner was very friendly and definitely made me feel welcome. I was greeted with a warm smile and given recommendations of things to try and this was absolutely amazing in my book. If you haven’t had the chance to visit as yet I definitely recommend doing so. Their hot chocolate with mash mellows was heaven. The chocolate chip cooki was fantastic . It was just an amazing experience all round and can’t wait to go back soon.

I love Little Red! Since opening, I've tried their jalapeno cheddar scone, various cookies, the pretzels, the brownies, and what you see pictured here, their "millionaire bar" which the owner & head baker explained to me was "like a homemade Twix". It was even better than a Twix! For all the sugar hounds in the area there is no shortage of bakery options, but Little Red is doing their own thing and doing it well. Bonus points for being so close to the Prospect Ave. R station, where you can grab a cup of coffee and a bite on your way in or, similarly, something sweet on the way out. Check 'em out and support this local biz!

Little Red Kitchen Bake Shop is a treasure to the neighborhood! Be sure to try their famous cinnamon rolls, they’re voted number one in NYC for a reason!! The owner is incredibly kind and takes pride in her baking. Loved every single thing I’ve tried on the menu. You can prepay and reserve as many cinnamon rolls on the weekend for pick up as you like! Makes for a convenient treat that you can look forward to. A must try bakery for anyone who loves a perfectly baked treat!

So excited for the opening of this bakery! My office ordered from Little Red Kitchen online before they had a storefront and my team loved the cookies so much. It was good for us because they also have gluten free options. I learned that they opened a bakery in South Slope just off the Prospect Ave R train and was excited to stop in. I picked up some savory scones: the everything and jalapeño cheddar, both are so delicious and buttery and crumbly! As well as lots of cookies to try: the brookie, molasses, sprinkle, peppermint shortbread, chocolate babka bun. The molasses cookie is fantastic: crunchy on the outside and chewy in the middle - absolutely perfect. It was really cold today and they even gave me a taste of their delicious hot chocolate to try! I asked about holiday cookie sets and the owner, Susan, told me they could bake them and have them shipped to me the next day so I ordered and paid for the holiday sets in store. She made the process super easy for me and I’m really grateful to have them in time for Christmas. FYI This is a grab and go place!

The BEST cinnamon roll I’ve every had. And I’ve been all around town for months looking for the perfect one. Classic. Cinnamon-ey. Gooey. Perfection. It’s a take out window kinda place. No seating. Friendly staff! And they just got a new espresso machine.

I have lived in the area for 15 years and have always wanted a quality local bakery for sweet treats. I should have been careful what I wished for because Little Red Kitchen is dangerous, in all the best ways. Hands down the best cinnamon rolls in the area (if you can get them) and their cinnamon babka is incredible. My wife loves the GF almond cake as well. Just tried the ice cream last week too and of course that is solid too.

Yelp
I had such an amazing time at Little Red Kitchen Bake Shop today! I've been meaning to stop by for a while since I saw great things online. The baked goods smelled amazing upon walking in and I was immediately greeted with a wide selection of items even though I stopped by at 3PM, an hour before closing. The owners were extremely sweet and I had a great conversation with them. Please please come check out this bake shop because they truly deserve all the business ever! The baked goods are so yummy and can last for a while in the freezer as well. Will definitely be coming back :)

Yelp
Let's first begin by saying that this bakery is exactly what Park Slope needed! Locals have been raving about it. They have drip coffee and hot chocolate for those avoiding caffeine. They offer scones, soft pretzels (savory and sweet,) Brookies, cookies, and more. They even have gift sets for the holidays & treats for dogs. The owner, Susan, and her husband, are very friendly and welcoming. There are no seats, as this is more of a grab and go stop, perfect for a grabbing a treat during your walk or before/after your train ride. It's right outside of the Prospect Ave R train station, so it's easy to get to as well!

Yelp
Best thing to come into the South Slope in a while. This bakery has inspired my family to do "Scone Saturdays" as she has a variety of delicious scones (both sweet and savory) and even a scone of the month. Also just tried her fresh cinnamon rolls which were also incredible and not too sweet like most cinnamon rolls (very well balanced). Looking forward to trying all the other delectable goodnesses each Scone Saturday.

Yelp
10/10, this is hands down the best bakery I've ever had the pleasure of visiting, ran by a husband and wife. I work very close by and my boss has been raving about it for a long time. Softest cookies I've ever had in my life. Dog friendly and has treats behind the counter, this place is to die for. Today was also the owners birthday !!! And she gave me a free piece of coffee cake !!! AND SHE CHASED ME DOWN THE BLOCK TO BRING ME THE COOKIES I FORGOT ON THE COUNTER, WHAT ! Amazing 100/100 this place is great. Sorry i didn't get a picture of the chocolate chip cookie, i already ate it, and it had traces of sea salt on it, holy moly...
