First time here. Cute place, something different. We started with Mozzarella sticks & Stuffed Mushrooms, while waiting the waiter brought us out some hot yummy garlic rolls, nice assortment. We ordered Baked Ziti with Sausage & Tortellini dish to share. The food was all yummy. We came here for lunch. We will come again. Great service.

The decor was absolutely beautiful. The smell inside was amazing. The food was delicious. The bread was fresh, the shrimp pesto was a huge portion and savory. I'm sad I didn't try any desserts, but again my portion was huge. I highly recommend this place.

We were in the area for some physio and stumbled upon this little Italian gem. At first, we weren’t sure what to expect from the food, but the garlic bread instantly won us over—it was amazing! We tried the shrimp pesto, and it turned out to be a delightful surprise—so flavorful and delicious. The place itself is super cozy with lovely music, and the service was absolutely top-notch. Our server went above and beyond to make the experience great. Definitely a spot worth visiting! We will back again!! ❤️

Delish!!! Everything was so flavorful and extra cheesy! The portions are perfect 👌 service was a little slow but overall great experience here, lots to look at, clean restrooms and relaxing atmosphere. We will definitely be back! 10/10

My family and I have been coming here for years as it’s our favorite Italian restaurant in DFW! Their strawberry lemonade and complimentary bread is always the best way to start our meal, and we really enjoy the stuffed mushrooms if you’re extra hungry! I typically get their seafood pasta or their Tour de Italy. I specifically love the fettuccine alfredo, which is always creamy and never too oily like some other places. We’ve had their salads, pizza, soups, and pasta— we always leave happy. Excellent taste, portion, seasoning, service, attention to detail. They’ve got it down! We went in for lunch today and I realized I’ve never left them a review. There’s too many great things about this restaurant to let me continue on with that, so I had to praise a few things I really appreciate about this business. First, wonderful ambience and decor. Second, great customer service. You’ll notice in their bathrooms that there is a special switch to turn on if they need attention. Furthermore, they always send me with a fresh drink when I ask for a to-go cup! Lastly, the variety of the menu as well as pictures of every item so you know exactly what you’re getting. It’s one thing to have delicious food, but to excel in all other aspects of business as well? Wow. Thats what keeps us coming back! Also, try out their “impossible cake” for dessert. Thanks for great food and great experiences, Little Rome.

Google

Google
Absolutely delicious. I didn’t have high expectations from the location or outward appearance but menu and food is extensive and great. Bread and garlic butter is dangerous.

Google
Excellent all the way around. Food came out steaming hot. New waiter (Moses, I think), did great. Lunch specials under $13.

Yelp
As an Italian from NJ, it's been a challenge to find really good Italian food down here. Little Rome feels like home. The mozzarella carrozza, tortellini, and veal parm were all on point. The red sauce (not gravy!) was awesome. Our server Isabella was cheery and wonderful. Go give them your business!!!

Yelp
Nice little and well decorated Italian restaurant. Excellent service. Loved the pictures guided menu. Delicious complimented breads. Delicious food. Will have to come back to try other dishes. The fried calamari was delicious .

Yelp
We visited this place on a Sunday after church. Food is okay. Except the pizza! We got the chicken Alfredo pizza and it was so oily that the oil was dripping off the pizza stand. Our server was not to be found. He took our order and never came back for a while even though we requested drinks and appetizers. I had to wave at him from far to get his attention. There were people who were sat at the table next to us, who waited about 15 mins and no one attended them and they walked out. There were other customers who walked out because no one seated them. This place has potential but just felt no one cares about service. Our server never asked us if we needed refills or anything else. We told him about additional plates for our kid like 3 times.

Yelp
What we got + my ratings: Shrimp Pesto - 5/5 Mushroom Gratinati - 4/5 Chicken Parmigiana - 3.5/5 Complimentary Bread - 4/5 The Impossible Chocolate Cake (not pictured) - 3.5/5 I wasn't too happy with the customer service, waited forever to be helped and place an order even though the restaurant wasn't too busy. However, the girl who finally came to help us was incredibly nice and did a great job of checking in and making sure everything was okay after we got our food. She gave us a little tip and that was to dip the bread in the Mushroom Gratinati and then eat it - tasted SO good! One of the things I love about this place is that their menu has pictures of all the items they offer, which is incredibly helpful.

Yelp
The service was great and efficient. We ordered a large pepperoni, sausage, and mushroom pizza to go. The pizza was huge but lacked sauce.

Yelp
Our Family had Little Rome Delivered last night. We loved our thin supreme pizza, Tour of Italy, Manicotti and my Sausage and Shrimp Spaghetti. I just thought the sausage was tasteless. We cook Italian Sausage at home and you could really update this dish and others if you start getting your Italian Sausage from the best butcher in Plano, Hirschs Meats. https://www.hirschsmeats.com/

Yelp
Visited Little Rome on 25th of October. My wife and I sat down for a pasta dish for dinner. We also ordered a 12" pizza to go, with three toppings, Canadian Bacon, Pineapple, and Onions. We paid a two toppings upcharge which was OK. After we finished our pasta, the pizza arrived. We paid out and left Little Rome. Regrettably, our initial oversight was failing to inspect the pizza for accuracy prior to leaving the establishment. As you can see by the picture, three pizza slices had no Canadian Bacon, one slice had very little and another had a small cut of Canadian Bacon. Also, all slices had uneven spread of Pineapple and Onions. I drove back to Little Rome and the server who waited on us took the pizza to the kitchen to be remade. After roughly two minutes, the same pizza came back with thin slices of cold cut ham folded over the five pieces that previously had little or no Canadian Bacon, plus a overly generous amount of parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. Nothing had been baked in. I refused to accept the pizza and walked out. We personally have written Rome off, there are much better Italian restaurants that take pride in what they make, it is obvious that Little Rome does not.

Yelp
Our first time here and we are pleasantly surprised. Alex greeted us at the table with a smile and laughs! When asked about popular dishes Alex pointed out some favorites and gave recommendations. Our soup was so good, definitely recommend the Pasta Fagioli. For the main course we had the Chicken Pesto and Chicken Francese, both were amazing! We would give this place a 10/10, haven't had this good of Italian food since NYC!

Yelp
My wife and I used to eat from here 1-2 times a month...until they stopped delivery. Since then we've been there once in a year. My schedule is too busy to stop everything, clean up and go to sit down and eat. But the food is good.

Yelp
Delicious. Excellent service. Quality of food is awesome. Environment is pretty/nuce. It's MY favorite go to for dining. I highly recommend and you can order all the dishes-they are all delicious! Pricing 7s fair. I love everything we have been:excellent dinner and service. Their bread baskets with fresh garlic butter...is the best of the best of some terrific places I have eaten over the years. 10 out of 10.

Yelp
I stopped in for a very late lunch , and was blown away by this little restaurant. Very Italian atmosphere, and clean. My server,Alex, went about and beyond to make my visit all it could be. I had the Chicken Piccata, and it was delicious! If you like sweet tea, it was spot on! I look forward to my next visit!

Yelp
This place is a hidden gem. We were immediately greeted with warm welcoming service. Our waitress was so lovable and funny. She hadn't been there long, but she was able to help us with the menu and make good choices for our meal. We got the tour of Italy and the cannelotini (sp?) both were very very good. Our food came out hot. The service did not disappoint at all. The restaurant is decorated a little cheesy, but it's cute and perfect for a date. I am glad I found this place in my neighborhood and I think I will be visiting frequently. The prices are very reasonable. Goodbye, Olive Garden.

Yelp
Excellent food and service. A rare combination. Highly recommend. Had the Chicken Marsala. Oh and the bread. Insane. Will be back.

Yelp
10/10!! Literally obsessed. Our server Alex was incredible. Knowledgeable, funny, attentive. We're definitely becoming regulars.

Yelp
Amazing is the word that described our entire lunch experience at Little Rome. We found the restaurant because we were visiting the Holiday Warehouse in the same parking lot and were hungry for lunch. What a find! We were greeted by friendly staff right when we walked in the door and were nothing but impressed by the service we received from Monica. She had our every need and question covered from beginning to end - she was the best. Everything we tried at Little Rome was amazing. We felt everything tasted fresh and homemade. Even though we don't live nearby, we're adding Little Rome to our date night list!

Yelp
First time after high marks from friends. They were right. Perfect Katie helped us through the menu, gave us plenty of time to look. Both plates were huge and excellent in presentation and flavor. Inside is special. You've got to get here!

Yelp
my colleague and I were in from Houston visiting our Plano office. We were informed of Little Rome by a colleague from Plano. I wanted say that Little Rome had very tasty food. We had pizza and the Tour of Italy and they were both very tasty. a Medium pizza was huge and the crust was crisp and fresh. What made the experience even better was Maggie their waitress. She was kind, attentive and so friendly. She made our dining experience amazing and deserves many accolades for being great at what she does!!

Yelp
I've been singing the praises of Little atone since I wrote my first review for them basically 4 years ago. This place is CONSISTENT! I have NEVER had a bad meal here, and even my ex gf from Boston approved of their chicken parmigiana when we were here a few years ago. I've had plenty of the food on this menu, and I have ZERO complaints! Luis and Priscilla are awesome, they always have been! You HAVE to eat here. You're cheating yourself if you don't.

Phil ..

Yelp
Amazing! The only thing better than the service was the food. Genuine homemade pasta sauce! My wife and I had lunch there and before we left we were talking about returning again! On a negative side it did make me miss New York City. The food at Little Rome is 100% NYC Italian restaurant quality! The prices are much better than NYC Can't wait to return

Ruben N.

Yelp
Finally pulled the trigger and made the drive to here. It's 50 minutes from me and was worth it. The inside gives you nice italian vibes. Wife ordered the mushroom gratinati, shrimp leonardo and I had the tour of italy. We loved our food. We took a slice of the impossible chocolate cake home and it too was delicious. Our waitress was very professional and friendly. Definately the best italian restaurant I've been too. Don't sleep on this little place! Give it a try!

Nat A.

Yelp
The service was good. This was our first time visiting and we went with some family members. Bread is included which I think was very good because of the wait time for food - which we were okay with because it came out fresh and was great! Will say it did feel like the actual space needed a good cleaning - walls and booth were very dirty but overall 4/5 and would come back
google avatar

Jason M.

Yelp
I love the decor of the dining area! Definitely love the chicken marsala... definitely better than Olive garden's before they discontinued that plate. Ask to be sat in Jay's section! Awesome guy!

Sylvia H.

Yelp
Great meat sauce with ziti pasta. Great salads. Great garlic bread served while you wait for your meal. If you order to go, the bread sadly isn't good but in the restaurant--it's delicious. I want to try their pizza next. Oh and the coffee drink with whipped cream--yes please!

Yelp
Amazing fresh food that is comfort food. Service was excellent and I was very impressed by how flexible the menu is with different dietary restrictions. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you're in the neighborhood.

Yelp
Amazing! Exceptional service, food portions generous and so delicious! Second time here and they do not disappoint!!! Please if you haven't been here, try it!

Yelp
While staying with Friends in Plano, Texas we decided to order Dinner from Little Rome. I went with the Baked Shells which came with bread, and my daughter Kileigh ordered the Cheese Ravioli. We ordered directly through the App and they offered delivery to our place so we didn't have to pay all the fees that come with using a Delivery service. Our food was delivered in a timely manner and it was nice and hot and smelled delicious! We definitely enjoyed our food and will be ordering from here frequently when we move to Dallas!

Sasha G.

Yelp
The food was great, and the free garlic bread was a step above what we were expecting. The portions were huge, and it had a fun ambiance!
google avatar

Yelp
The food is excellent here. I take business associates and everyone leaves satisfied. This is just really good, hearty, familiar Italian food. You can't go wrong. Nice ambience and wonderful staff. BYO wine or beer.

Yelp
A friend had gone to this restaurant and sang its praises. It was our 37th anniversary and we decided to go. Our server was friendly and attentive. We ordered the crab-stuffed mushrooms for appetizer. They were delicious! Everything on the menu sounded tasty; it was hard to decide on only one thing! Our entrees were the Pasta Trio (stuffed shell, manicotti, & ravioli), and Eggplant Parmesan. Our food was exquisite! We will definitely go back.

Amber P.

Yelp
Food was incredible! Blair, our waitress, was super attentive and sweet! We will definitely come again next time we are in Plano! Great vibes all around.

Yelp
My boyfriend and I are obsessed with this place! We came across it randomly on a Friday night, and assumed it was just another pizza place. They have a huge menu with so many options (+ photos), and great prices. We got the stuffed pizza and it was HUGE. I was planning to get a regular pizza and lasagna, but then we saw they brought out this huge pizza to the table next door so I had to get it. They let me pick half-and-half for my flavors since I couldn't decide between pepperoni and chicken parmesan. The smaller stuffed pizza was SO WORTH. My boyfriend told me to get the smaller size, but thankfully he did, because that was already way too big for the both of us. I only ate two slices before I was stuffed, especially with those delicious complimentary garlic breads. Each slice was really well seasoned, and the crust and toppings just blend together perfectly. The lasagna was amazing also, perfectly cooked pasta with delicious marinara sauce. The interior is very pretty and classy. It's between a fancy restaurant but also hole-in-the-wall feeling. Service has been top notch every time we went. They have outdoor seating with fans and heater, perfect for summer or the colder weather. Their indoor dining is a little too cold for my liking, so I just opt-in for outdoor seating now. Overall, this is one of my favorite find in the area!

Yelp
We're participating in the Plano Foodie challenge and decided to try this place as part of the restaurants on the Foodie list. The service was impeccable. The food was delicious. We started with their complimentary bread/rolls. Then we had some crab stuffed mushrooms and they were awesome. Next we all shared a small salad with their house dressing. It was delightful. As an entree we shared a medium classic supreme pizza. It was hot, fresh and delicious. They did not spare any toppings. Wow. Finally, we topped the meal off with a tiramisu and one of their specialty coffees. To top it off they offer a military and first responders discount. We eat pizza almost every Friday night and we will definitely be back to Little Rome.
google avatar

Jake W.

Yelp
food is awesome, but just found out, on my pick-up order, they are cashless now, card only. why ???

Bret S.

Yelp
Excellent food and great service. The decor is very inviting! The stuffed mushrooms are amazing!

Usha M.

Yelp
Awesome food, service and ambiance. Good vegetarian choices. Would definetly go back
google avatar

Chantal B.

Yelp
Absolutely love all the food here. Their breads are made in house. I ordered the Caesar salad. I think the Caesar sauce is made in house too. I can taste the fresh lemon. Wonderful service and great atmosphere. Everything we ordered so delicious! We will definitely return.

Holland M.

Yelp
GOOD FOOD. Just the service was kind bad but it was ok at the same time! If you are a big fan of Italian this is ur go to !

Rich M.

Yelp
Been here several times and it's always been great no matter what we ordered, the fettuccine is something I cannot explain it's got a creaminess to it and not an oily base it's definitely a unique palatable dish, my go to is the Tour of Italy cause you get 3-great items in one dish!!!!

H O.

Yelp
Have been here several times. Very disappointed this time around. Ordered the dinner spaghetti and meatballs. It was served on a small plate with 2 meatballs. I kept asking the waitress if they accidentally gave me the lunch plate. She just said no, the plate is smaller now 13 dollars for a small plate in spaghetti with no salad is absurd. Extremely disappointed.

Roger G.

Yelp
Our server, Isabella, was awesome! If she gives you a recommendation, take it! Service, food, and vibes were all great.
google avatar

Stephen J.

Yelp
This a little hidden gem in Plano with its rustic appeal and good portion sizes, you'll enjoy your experience. We went on a Saturday night and they were not overly busy. The greeters were friendly and we were quickly seated. Our server came by and took our drink orders and was attentive the whole time while we were there. The menu is better than most restaurants and has plenty of options with pictures of each to pick from. Given my all time favorite at Olive Garden was the Tour of Italy I went with that to see how it compares; and boy was it better. You get some great portion of all three and you'll be full of pasta when it's all said and done. Another perk of this place is that it's BYOB so bring your wine with you when you go. I highly recommend checking them out when you get a chance.

Cory T.

Yelp
Stood up front for about 5 minutes while all the staff looked at me. Then when finally seated the proceeded to help the table that arrived almost 4 minutes after I did. Customer service is awful here and wouldn't recommend.

Jerry R.

Yelp
This place has the best Italian food I have ever eaten and the pizza is worth the drive at any distance.
