I came here for a Saturday brunch as part of Kin’s Coffee with Strangers program. They picked the spot based on the neighborhood I suggested, and reserved a table for our group—six women meeting for the first time over coffee. It turned out to be a fun morning; we all got along really well.
The café itself was lively and buzzing with energy, as you’d expect on a weekend morning in such a trendy neighborhood. I started with a simple drip coffee and cream, while others ordered lattes or matcha. Everyone seemed happy with their drinks—my drip coffee was solid and flavorful, though I did notice they didn’t offer refills.
For food, I had an avocado toast topped with pickled onions and a side of hash browns. The avocado was fresh and the tangy pickled onion added a nice kick, though the hash browns were clearly frozen and felt pretty basic. A couple of my friends tried other dishes and seemed to enjoy theirs as well.
Overall, I’d say this café leans a bit pricey, but that matches the vibe of the area. The atmosphere was upbeat, the coffee was good, and it’s a great spot to hang out with friends on a weekend morning. Worth checking out if you’re looking for a lively brunch setting.
