Wonderful, quick service and each dish was flavorful. The curries had a good amount of curry. Drinks were all tasty and reasonably priced.

Simply Amazing Food and Service! My family and I had the pleasure of dining at Little Saigon restaurant, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. I ordered the basil fried rice with chicken, and it was simply amazing—the flavor was incredible and it was served at the perfect temperature. We were all very impressed with how clean the restaurant was and how friendly the staff were. They made our family feel welcome, the service was great, and our food came out nice and fast. Thank you to the Little Saigon restaurant for a fantastic meal. We will definitely be back!

Oddly enough, this restaurant never seemed to me to have a real wide variety of Vietnamese dishes on the menu! Having said that, I've never had a bad meal there. The staff is always very friendly and helpful, my meals get out to the table quickly, and the food is always delicious. Little Saigon is always on the short list of places to go when we have a meal out.

Google
I’ve ate here before for the lunch menu and got beef and Broccoli today I wanted beef and broccoli and to try their pad Thai so I didn’t get the lunch special. The pad Thai was not very good. The sauce was definitely off. The beef and broccoli was good but not as good as the the first time. Some parts of it was hot. Some parts of the food was hot and some of it was room temperature. It was weird. My brother got the sesame chicken lunch special and he liked it. The sauce on the season chicken was really good. I enjoyed their little egg rolls. Next time I’ll get the beef and Broccoli, lunch special.

Google
Found this place when we visited Springfield. Service was great. Food was amazing. Loved the fried rice and Panang curry. They have lunch specials Monday to Saturday. I would definitely come again if I’m in town.

Google
Really solid Vietnamese food. The Chinese food and Thai food were also authentic. I usually avoid pan-asian restaurants like the plague, but this place was surprisingly delicious and the prices were really low for big portions. Would come back!

Google
Little Siagon Restaurant quickly became one of my favorite restaurants when I find myself in Springfield Illinois. The menu boasts various Asian cuisines: Vietnamese, Thai, and Chinese. I must say I was impressed with all the various selections and how delicious they taste. I was further impressed by the fact that MSG is not used, and that the dishes are prepared with low sodium. Though the restaurant is constantly busy, the ambiance allows for a quiet romantic dinner for two; one in which you don't have to strain your voice to talk, or to be heard. The tea beverages are a must try. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Google
A terrific find on a long drive. Very attentive and accommodating of our culinary requirements (vegetarian). Food was abundant -- the lunch serving was plenty, and came with soup, a side of rice, and an eggroll--fresh, and delicious. Our wait person was helpful, friendly, and polite as well. The price was right, about $10 each, certainly after our Chicago experience where even fast food requires you sell an organ.

Yelp
Our server was prompt and polite and upbeat. Out food come to use quickly after we ordered, which was very easy. The restaurant is brightly lit and clean with a. Pleasant friendly atmosphere. Our food was vegetable delux with chicken and I had the spicy glass noodles extra spicy. Plays an order of egg rolls and shumai. All done excellently. I am glad you have this place, Springfield.

Yelp
Always great tasting food and service. My favorite Thai restaurant in Springfield. Try any of their food and you will have a nice meal.

Ray R.

Yelp
The food here is fantastic. I've had curries and pad Thai dishes here, and I think they are the best around. The sweet staff is attentive and kind, and good with recommendations. Everything here is fast and fresh, and very flavorful. What's not to like?

Yelp
Food is always consistent here. You get nice portions for the price and always flavorful. We grabbed carryout tonight but have eaten in many times as well. They have great lunch specials I highly recommend. The food was ready super fast and always is even when they are busy. I will say my fried rice left something to be desired today. It was very bland and lacking and flavor. The vegetables were predominantly onions which is disappointing to not have much else and no flavor. Probably would not order again but will definitely be back for the other delicious food they offer.

Yelp
Good food, although they needed to believe I could handle the spice when I asked for it spicy. Three slices of jalapeño was joy what I was expecting. Excellent and fast service as well.

Yelp
Portions are huge! We started with the crab rangoon and both had the Pho as our entrees. Neither of us could finish but the meals were flavorful and filling.

Yelp
I've been to nearly all Thai and Vietnamese restaurants in town, and so far, this is the only place I can find that makes a halfway decent panang curry. Though it is definitely above average for the area, I've been spoiled by living near many such restaurants around the country, so my expectations may be unrealistically high. Aside from good curry, they also have high-quality pho, which really hits the spot during those frigid winter months.

Yelp
Nice dining experience. I have to say it was a very comfortable space. The service was excellent. The food was really good. I just got beef broccoli...I'm a simpleton that way when it comes to any type of Asian food. Thankfully the dish wasn't sweet like thai or other places other than just straight forward Chinese food. I would say it had a tiny bit of a sweet note but not nearly as bad as thai. I also got the fried dumplings....i wish they were fried (pan seared) only on the bottom. But they were still very good. Just prefer dumplings that are just pan seared. I'll be back for sure. Here working at the capitol north wing restoration.

Jessica G.

Yelp
The food was good! I'd rate it a 6.5-7 out of 10. The wings were flavorful and the sauce on them was unique. The fried rice was tasty, however the shrimp tasted like it had been cooked separately and tossed in after. One shrimp was sort of cold; however, the rice was good! The service was quick!

Henry S.

Yelp
Very good experience every time I go there. Always look forward to going back. Hope they're here for many years to come

Elaine K.

Yelp
Pleasantly surprised at how quiet the restaurant was on a Sunday early evening. Service was good food was typical of Asian restaurants. Not busy, so we were able to linger.

Yelp
The wait staff was very kind and accommodating. The food was quite average to us, not meaning any disrespect, and no, we're not Phó snobs. However, we have eaten Phó all around the Midwest and a lot on the West Coast and in . The broth (Phó Saigon) was tasty but lacked the appropriate amount of meat. The egg rolls were ok, once again, underwhelming. Sorry only 3 plates for Little Saigon.
google avatar

Yelp
Great Bumi, spring rolls and even better fruit freezes! One of my favorite Thai places in town.
google avatar

Amelia S.

Yelp
Some things were good, while others weren't. The soups tasted so much like dish soup. White rice was dry, with the chicken being undercooked with blood still inside. The wait time was very long, and the servers were polite. It was loud all around with kids running around. The only thing I can say about the decorations were that they were interesting, to say the least.

Yelp
Great place to eat. We are always promptly seated. Wait staff us friendly and attentive. Food is always great.

Yelp
If I could give this place 0 stars I would. This place should not be called, "little Saigon" This place should be called Asian fusion or Asian cuisine. If you are looking to eat Vietnamese food this is not the place for you! This restaurant takes the short cut and use pho broth powder with water and it is NOT AUTHENTIC pho! I can't even say the worst pho I have ever had because it's NOT EVEN PHO! The egg rolls are frozen and taste like FAST FOOD egg rolls! The crispy noodles had little to no noodles! The Com thịt nướng is the only decent thing because at least they can make rice! Not one person I spoke to spoke VIETNAMESE! They charged $12.95 for a bowl of pho that they made for $3.00!!! EVEN THE BEST PHO out there Texas, cali, other states are $10! There is Thai and Chinese food on the menu and this is called a Vietnamese and Thai restaurant. They should make this Chinese and Thai and take Vietnamese off! We Vietnamese people are proud of our food and this is a disgrace. I understand the concept of supporting local restaurants but this location is such a disappointment to the Vietnamese culture. I hope they change the name because THIS LOCATION IS HAS NO AUTHENTIC VIETNAMESE FOOD. Just because they are in a state with little to no Asians in the community you cannot fool Vietnamese people. I REPEAT THIS IS NOT VIETNAMESE FOOD! This is fast food asian (Chinese/Thai) food at best!

Yelp
Excellent food, we'll prepared and presented. Wait staff very courteous and helpful. We will return.

Yelp
I have been here twice. The first time I had Crazy Noodles aka Drunken Noodles which We always order at Thai restaurant. Every Thai restaurant presents them differently. These were not memorable, but not bad. The chicken was ground which I presume makes preparation easier but does nothing for flavor and freshness. I also had spring rolls with peanut sauce but, again, not remarkable. Our second visit was better. Only downside was the egg drop soup which was warm, not hot. The basil chicken was spicy and flavorful. But, again, the chicken was ground. I really enjoy the atmosphere here. It is comfortable and clean. It also seems to be a popular place. Staff is friendly. Plenty of parking.

Yelp
Super good food. I was pleaseantly surprised for it being Springfield Illinois. Recommend the summer roll. The lunch seafood lunch special was good, I got lobster and crab. My sister enjoyed the lo mein.

Yelp
We were passing through Springfield, IL to visit my daughter and we saw this establishment on Yelp. We saw the reviews and decided to stop in to try the place out. I had the Grilled Chicken, which was very moist and flavorful. The sunnyside egg that covered the chicken breast put it over the top. This is my new go to place whenever we are in Springfield. The restaurant has many healthy options and the staff is friendly and constantly sensitizing.

Yelp
We stumbled upon Little Saigon years ago while passing through Springfield on a road trip. Over the years, if we were remotely close to the area, we would make a detour to come here because we enjoyed the food and boba so much. Today we were traveling through the area so we made a stop for lunch...but this time we were deeply disappointed in literally everything. The Taro boba has always been my favorite, but after a couple of sips, I could not drink anymore. The summer rolls were mostly all head lettuce and very bland. Lastly, we ordered the chicken pad Thai and it didn't taste anything remotely to chicken pad Thai as it was covered in sweet & sour sauce. We let our waitress know that the food was NOT good and that I wanted to send my boba back. Because no one understood English, we were still charged for our uneaten food. I wish I would've remembered to snap a photo of our meal. It's a real shame that this business has gone downhill since the last time we visited. I will probably never go back.

Yelp
Thank you Little Saigon for the friendly service and the amazing food! Everything looked and tasted delicious. I got the lunch special which came with a soup and an egg roll for a very fair price! The food came out pretty quick despite the restaurant being busy during lunch hours. Would definitely recommend people to come here and try it!

Yelp
Great spot! I wish this place was in Chicago. I had the best pad Thai ever! The Vietnamese crepe was top notch too. My absolute favorite was the pad Thai. If you are reading this review and you want to take something from it just remember these words....PAD THAI, pad Thai, pad Thai! Too bad grub hub won't travel 3 hours to deliver food. So I read a few negative reviews about the pad Thai. Not sure what's up but maybe they read what was written and changed. This pad Thai was like the best I've ever had. Just my opinion.

Yelp
I was in the area and was excited to see so many & such good reviews for this restaurant, but personally coming from CA with an abundance of asian food the dishes did not hit the spot for me. The service was Polite and friendly, they would come check on us and she helped bag up the boxes I packed (personal preference to box food myself). Restaurant had about 3 rooms with circle cut out wall dividers was unique. Walking in my first whiff smelt a little of bathroom but once I walked pass the smell went away. My hubby told me it was the old building smell. I ordered the shrimp shumai appetizer which I saw a picture on yelp for. It was made of tiny shrimp and mostly whiteish meat. Reminded me of fish balls or frozen seafood balls. Texture was good crunchy deep fry but inside was softer. This came with a sweet and sour sauce I enjoyed. Pad se lew was flat noodles with broccoli egg and meat, not a lot of sauce and was my kids dish. Soldier of red sea seafood curry. I requested mild, but it definitely was not mild. I could see the broth was full of red pepper or spicy flakes. It came with about 3 shrimps couple mussels and baby scallops, baby carrots, basil, carrots, onions, mushrooms with a side of rice. The broth was ok not authentic thai food quality. Sesame chicken dish did not taste the way my husband was expecting. My experience in CA sesame chicken usually would be a sweet sauce similar to your typical sweet & sour or orange chicken style. This one was a deep fried crunchy chicken (the positive) but the sauce just wasn't as expected. Like the waitress told us when we asked if it was good, she said some people like it some people don't. Hubby didn't & I wish it wasn't as salty as it was. It was more savory than sweet which I was expecting. Dish was garnished with brocolli on the sides. Overall I was able to fill my extremely hungry stomach, but my hubby did Not think the food was good. I would agree the food was not authentic tasting for each of the cuisines offered (Chinese, Thai. Vietnamese, Signapore, Burma?) But I would say the food was edible if you are not familiar with the flavors of the various cuisines.

Yelp
An unassuming place along a busy thoroughfare littered with strip shopping centers, Little Saigon could be easy to miss. Don't. With an almost overwhelmingly large menu of meal selections this is the place to find your favorite Asian dishes. It would also be a good place to take someone who thinks Thai and Vietnamese cooking is adventurous or exotic. Tell the staff what meat, seafood and veggies you want--and your level of pepper heat (or none)--and they'll match it to one of their dishes. Larger than it looks from the outside, Little Saigon can accommodate couples to large groups.

R B.

Yelp
pho is lame no flavor, I love pho and the pho I ate here are for people that doesn't know what pho should taste. But they do have a clean eating area. Service are average.

Zsuzsanna F.

Yelp
We were hungry and looked for a reasonably priced Asian restaurant, and we settled for Little Saigon. What a great choice it was! We've had Satay chicken, juicy and crusty to perfection, as appetizer and then picked Pho Saigon and Lo Main with veggies. Generous portions and great taste. They have a good selection of soups and some traditional Thai offerings like Pad Thai as well. Very well Prices and quick serviceI recommend.

Connie B.

Yelp
Always tasty dishes, prompt and friendly service and very clean. The decor is also inviting.

Yelp
Great food every time. Never had a bad meal here. authentic and fresh. When we get to Soringfield this is always a stop we make.

Kris K.

Yelp
Great service, good food! Pad Thai is my go to! Crab Rangoon is delicious! Great for a gathering also!

George P.

Yelp
The food can be hit or miss. One night a person that I was treating to dinner ordered a shrimp curry dish. The made it with pork. We send it back. We asked politely for the remake. The dish they provided was too spicy hot to even taste. The menu describes the dish as a sweet curry. I have enjoyed the dish before. But this was too spicy hot. Manager said we could have a credit next time we came in. That never happened. Too sad they treat their mistake this way.

Yelp
Got some takeout for lunch. How delicious! Had yellow curry with tofu. Excellently spiced and utterly delicious!

Clair J.

Yelp
This is kind of a hole-in-the-wall type place. It's a Springfield staple and is kind of like a time capsule - things just stand still. I've gone various time over the last decade and I have to say, after not going for several years, our visit last night has moved them to the top of the list for Asian/Thai cuisine in the area. Very clean inside. Very. I am meticulous and walls, floors, tables, everything was clean. All staff were masked. They quickly cleaned tables and floors after diners left. Food came out in a very reasonable amount of time and was hot, fresh and delicious. Highly recommend the Pad Thai, Lo Mein and Sesame Chicken. Possible the best Sesame Chicken I've ever had. Our waiter was so friendly, sweet and polite. He provided wonderful and efficient service. Also - make sure you get a Freeze. Both the Strawberry and Coconut are out of this world!

Yelp
Lovely restaurant with delicious food. Punang chicken was outstanding as were the egg rolls. We were just passing through and lucky for us we found this place. Thanks to Yelp.
google avatar

Yelp
Do you love the nice crunch of al Dente broccoli, and the soft texture of rice noodles, the strong flavor or basil? Get the Crazy Noodles, they are Awesome! Good flavor and texture and reasonable price. ($8.95) It reminds me of what some other restaurants call Pad ki Mao. We also tried the Saigon Siumai. I personally enjoy steamed ones instead of the fried ones they served.. But for $3.75 I'll take it.
google avatar

Amie B.

Yelp
We have only been here one other time, years ago, but we were not disappointed either time. The waiter was attentive and helpful with our questions, the food was wonderful (and such big helpings), the only complaint was that it was a bit too warm in the building. The ambiance is nice, you can tell they've put in some effort to keep it modern. Did I mention the food? Because it was so good.
google avatar

Jane F.

Yelp
Always delicious! 503 is our favorite. Everything on the Thai menu is good, but you need to go by the menu descriptions because the names of the dishes are different than the ones used in many Thai restaurants.
google avatar

Jean S.

Yelp
Service is extremely friendly and sweet. This place is super clean with a warm feeling. Passed by this place 100 times and thought I would check it out for lunch on a Saturday. So glad I did. Beef mei fun and fried dumplings didn't disappoint. Very extensive Thai, Vietnamese and Chinese offerings. Fresh and beautifully prepared dishes. Might make this place a regular spot.
google avatar

Lindsay M.

Yelp
Food was lacking in flavor. Great service, but feel like there may be better options.
google avatar

Matt G.

Yelp
Ok. For those who remember, I gave Cilantro in Cinci OH a rave review not only for their flavor, but their complete and utter disregard for "portion control". Well. Apparently Little Saigon failed to get the portion control memo also and upped the ante on the flavor department. On the road, in the rain, and in the cold...yes 25F is cold to a Texan, I was in search of the most noble of fares to warm ones soul to the core...PHO!!!! After a quick consultation with Yelp, I happily determined there was Pho-age nearby my hotel. So I wrapped warm and was off. Being somewhat of a pho snob...I immediately ordered the Pho Tai Bo Vein or thin sliced beef with meatballs. What arrived was not a bowl...but a cauldron of pho. It was honestly bigger than my head. Being the polite chap I am, I first tasted the broth. Delectable. I added just a smidge of hoisin, soy, and placed the basil leaves in the far corner to steep as the broth cooled down. Sooooooo...what does one do whilst waiting for pho to cool down? Correct. Drink Sake. The restaurant presents it in a cool way too. So ones drink doesn't cool down too much they put it in boiling water. Clever. Time to dive in and crush this bowl. Or so I thought. I honestly had to text my wife play by play timelines. It took me...literally...20 minutes of non-stop eating to crush this bowl. It was like playing a game of Hungry Hungry Hippos but the damn balls never stop coming...until they do. The meat was tender. The meatballs were perfect. Everything was seasoned very well and the noodles were like a bazillion little stars exploding in my mouth at the same time. Exquisite. Warm and now waddling, I made my way back to the hotel. Wear your stretchy pants. But please...do eat here.

Yelp
I haven't eaten at little Saigon in years, so I decided to give it a shot! Although the first few bites of my tum yum soup were delicious... I found a bug in my soup. Very unappetizing.
google avatar

Yelp
Good portions. Nice staff. Didn't take along time to receive meal. If I lived closer I'd go back again for sure
google avatar

Chuck M.

Yelp
WOW...what a great restaurant. I arrived to a great smelling entry...standing room wait as every seat was taken. After being seated... looking over the menu takes some time as it has quite the number of dishes. I settled upon the Tum Yum Goong soup which is a hot & sour soup with a unique sweet taste, with onion, cilantro, mushrooms, lemon grass, and shrimp. It is awesome. I also choose a shrimp and squid stir fry, with yellow and green onions. What an awesome meal, great service, nice atmosphere. Local family business...your neighbors and friends...give your support.

Yelp
Our favorite spot for Vietnamese food in the area. Best pho I've ever had. Curry noodle is my wife's go-to.

Scott D.

Yelp
We had a wonderful lunch yesterday at Little Saigon. I was not just the food, more importantly it was about how the staff worked with us to enable us to safely enjoy dining there despite multiple food sensitivities. Our son cannot handle gluten (wheat, barley, rye) or dairy. My wife cannot handle sugar or msg. When we spoke with a lead waitress about menu items that could be gluten-free, she was hesitant and said "soy sauce" as she got it (soy sauce typically has some wheat). We then asked if they could use the gluten-free tamari sauce we had in the cooler in our car, she said she thought that would work, and she would need to check with her manager. Well, he came out quickly and after looking at our sauce alternative, he carefully took our order, making sure to address all our needs. We all thoroughly enjoyed everything. My son had the Singapore Vermicelli, spicy - large portion for a lunch special. My wife had the Pad Woosen - completely mild (she used to eat spicy, and now can't tolerate it). I had Crazy Noodles, spicy. Also had the lemongrass chicken wings (not CF). The Crazy Noodles was amazing - flavor and size, spiced perfectly. But what stood out is each component - broccoli, pea pod, baby corn, beef... all were individually very flavorful. While we live fairly far away, in the future, whenever we are in or passing through Springfield, Little Saigon will be our go to place.

Yelp
My wife and best friend think this is THE spot for Asian food in town. I'm not as high on it but it is indeed good, and I cannot recall my order ever being incorrect.
