"What used to be Woori market is now Little Tokyo Marketplace where you will find fresh Japanese and Korean cuisine as well as mainstream American food. The food court is great for grabbing a quick sushi or sashimi lunch and a treat from the bakery. The seafood department has an affordable variety and a quality meat selection. You will find yourself exploring the aisles discovering new spices, sauces, snacks and maybe even a bottle of sake to take home." - Sandwich Video

This Japanese market is a hidden goldmine if you’re into snacks, sushi, sweets, or just vibey Asian food finds without spending a bag. The place is massive — rows on rows of goodies you didn’t even know existed. Definitely the go-to spot when you want something fun, fast, and fire without sitting down at a full-blown restaurant. Came here to grab a poke bowl and some sweets — left with way more than I planned, and still spent way less than expected. Great bang for your buck if you’re ballin’ on a budget but still want quality. There’s also a big parking garage (free with validation), and it’s connected to a whole mall full of cool shops, restaurants, and dessert spots. Kinda perfect if you wanna make a little day out of it. Whether you’re hunting for rare snacks, drinks, or a quick sushi fix — this spot’s a sleeper hit. Highly recommend pulling up.

Google
Purchased a few groceries here. There is validated parking for 90 minutes free if you purchase at least $5 in merchandise. There is a lot of produce, the typical array of seafood and meat products as well as snacks, noodles and more. Make no mistake, this is a Korean supermarket despite the name and some Japanese translations. This store is Korean with most packaged products from Korean brands and the seafood and meat departments catering to dominant Korean consumer tastes. Prices are reasonable and staff are friendly.

Google
Amazing and fairly complete array of Japanese and Korean foods and more! Shops and restaurants inside! Parking in the adjacent structure is validated. This market is pretty big. It has a big cosmetics stand where I found some makeup qtips and even a stand that sells glasses inside. They have a great deal of groceries to offer. They have pretty much all the Asian groceries you could want. There are security guards all over this place. You can park in the structure next to it and most of its first level is parking for this supermarket. There are also meters on the street.

I recently visited Little Tokyo Marketplace, and it was such a fun experience! It’s a cool little market where you can find everything from fresh sushi to unique snacks. I bought some Japanese mochi and a few bowls—everything was so authentic and reasonably priced. The staff were really helpful and provided great recommendations. It’s a bit hidden, but if you enjoy exploring cultural spots, this is a must-see.

Google
This Korean run grocery store is pretty good with a large selection with seafood, sushi, and a bakery inside. The seafood section is okay. The mixed sashimi selection was bad. Don't get it. However, the Mexican uni they had was delicious. It's got a Daiso, Korean Market, and some cute art stores on the second floor. This is not as cute as the other Japanese Plaza but it's a workable mini mall. There's a bathroom on the second floor that's pretty private and quiet.

Eric White

Google
I love this store. Way more than any big chance store in California. They pretty much have everything, and the fish is top notch. If you haven’t been there just go and give it a look. You won’t regret it. It’s definitely my go to place way more than Ralphs or sprouts or whatever other grocery type store. Just check it out and decide for yourself.

Google
Nice clean and quiet and good quality of products and Korean side dishes better than any other Koraan Markets.

Google
It is actually a big place for japanese and asian stores, but still lack of tenants. The parking is expensive.

Yelp
I went in again for other items I typically get! The crab I bought days ago, was not the best crab. It didn't hold up. So not only am I paying for tank water with the crab, the crab is less than mediocre in quality and flavor. I also saw the guy, happily charging others for tank water. As he just goes from the tanky it he bag, not slewing any excess water to drain. Just a rip off. Do better!

Yelp
First time here today and we were blown away by the huge selection of fresh seafood. They also had a lot of great produce, steaks, vegan options and really everything else we need anytime we grocery shop. Oh and they have a little a food court with poke and a couple other options. When you check out they validate parking for the parking garage which is always a plus.

Yelp
Amazing fresh made daily sushi, musubi, kimcji, onigiri and a huge selection of drinks, sake, beers, teas, calico soft drinks. Endless Japanese snacks, mochi, chips, cookies as well ad fresh fruit and produce. The downside---super crowded and sometimes some questionable customer service. The sushi place is separate from the market place itself and is overpriced compared to Nijiya Market. It's still super flavorful and very fresh. I'll occasionally slurge and buy myself a ton of sushi and cbd kombucha!! Has validation parking lot structure attached and benches to eat at outside the market too!
google avatar

Yelp
Love the selection of snacks. Wanted to get persimmon, but they were spoiling. Def not Hmart standard but at least they're organized.
google avatar

Jane L.

Yelp
Very good place. They never run out of supplies and almost all their stuff are in good condition. The cashiers check out really fast, the market is clean and their food is amazing. There are also many types of brands for the same thing which is good if you need a specific brand.

Yelp
Pretty good pickings for a market on the outskirts of DTLA. It's a Korean supermarket with a hot food section, fresh seafood section, sushi stall, Asian bakery, and little restaurant that serves a mix of Japanese and Korean fare. It's no HMart but definitely is up there as far as offerings go. I like how much organic products they have here. I like that I can buy Natto, Thayer's toner, tteokboki, and mochi products from Fugetsu-Do in one place. Personally not a fan of their marinated meats. They have good sales listed every week. I got a 4-pack of Korean canned tuna for 8 bucks so that was nice.

Yelp
Little Tokyo market place accepts EBT. It is one of the few grocery stores in the arts district/ little Tokyo to do so. Their products are more expensive than you can get them for at other stores, but at least they have a good selection. I love to buy pre packaged freshly made food from the back left area of the store. They have a yummy quinoa mango salad, bibimbap, spam musubi, and many other things! It's all very freshly made and the quality is great for the price. They have seating near the exit of the grocery store as well.

Yelp
Stopped to check out ingredients for a special recipe. This store is STOCKED!!! I was able to find all specialty ingredients and then some! Flavored KitKats, old-school Almond Cookies...even a Cold Brew Latte with Almond Milk! The lines can get long but move quickly. Totally worth a visit.

Yelp
Have fun with this! I rode a scooter over here from downtown and enjoyed myself thoroughly. There's fun little stores, I visited a bunch of them. It's easy to catch an Uber on the way home. I believe they have a parking garage attached which would make it very convenient if you were trying to drive. My only trouble with this is that I bought way more stuff than I could carry... I can't wait to come back.
google avatar

Jonathan L.

Yelp
Decent grocery spot in the area. I feel the stuff here are a little cheaper than Nijaya and Marukai. The store is pretty big. Lots of options. They have a hot food section too that they discount after 8PM. So if you're into that stuff and need a later night dinner, check it out. They have security guard guarding the entrances. Usually my go to grocery spot when I need something quick or too lazy to drive out.

Yelp
I really really like this market place. I think they have a pretty decent selection of Korean goods that I can't find anywhere else and I like that their parking garage is 1 hour free and the market place will validate if you pay more than 30$ on a trip, which I almost always do. One of the main reasons I love coming here is because they have a ready-made Ganjang-Gejang that I absolutely go bananas for. I'd love to eat it at an actual restaurant but, for almost 1 pound of soy marinated crabs at only 9.99 I feel like the price can't be beat and I always get the 2$ steamed white rice and it's a perfect lunch. They also have a wide selection of ready made Korean food, they also have a small poke restaurant inside, a nice sushi selection and a ton of smaller restaurants in the back. I'm never around that spot so, I don't know if they're still there. Also, the kombucha selection is ridiculous. I've gotten so many interesting things. Granted, the supermarket smells fishy from time to time and it can get super crowded, I still love this marketplace and will sometimes choose it over H-Mart or Zion in Koreatown

Yelp
Feeling so happy after my trip here today! Because I love the Black Bean Buldak Samyang noodles and they've been sold out for such a long time! I stocked up on 2 packs because who knows when it will be in again LOL YES, I know these are so full of sodium and are not healthy. Def don't eat them everyday, but great to indulge once in a while or if you've had a tough long day. 2 full packs normally will last me 2.5 months if not longer. I love this market because it's such a great spot for variety of Korean, Japanese, some Chinese, and American items! I only wish they would start to get the instant cold noodles packets that Zion market carries. They have Yerba mattes and other boujie herb drinks! An AWESOME large variety of Copper Cow Pour over teas/coffees. And of course a massive selection Korean Noodles and eats! Market is Korean owned but they have great taste on selections! They have more variety than the one in central little Tokyo plaza. Staff is also nice and chill as well(:

Yelp
Excellent supermarket focusing on Korean groceries. Located in the Little Tokyo Marketplace, this mall also has many other local small shops with some Japanese focus. With an excellent fish counter, there are both live and frozen catches along with a very large selection of daily prepared Sushi items. The hot food counter is mostly Korean food oriented and the pre-packaged selection is convenient and will sell out quickly daily. There is also a very small food court with 4 vendors serving everything from noodles to curries, to baked goods. There is convenient parking in the very large structure which the market will validate. For many folks who are familiar with this shopping mall, it was once Yohan Plaza when it was first constructed in the 80s. The pricing for most grocery items is slightly on the high side, but produce and fish are quite fresh and there is also KBBQ items to purchase for home cooking. The store is well organized and the clerks are very friendly.

Yelp
Super cute grocery store! Free parking with validation. They don't take Amex. I thought the grocery prices were very fair, and they do have weekly sales. They have good variety of Asian alcohol including soju, sake, beer. Has a bakery and a little restaurant inside. It's a smaller store but I didn't feel that the selections were too limited. Overall if you're in the area I'd recommend checking it out! Located in a mall with daiso, and some food places.

Yelp
The food market is so so, it is what I was there to patronize, but it isn't worth the trouble and I won't return. The parking garage attendants are disgustingly rude and condescending and will tell you to get out if you don't allow them to talk down to you. It was obvious that I wasn't the first person she has spoken to in that manner, she simply has zero class. This is unfortunately a failing mall with many of the units empty and the customer service exemplifies it. If you'd like to escape with your dignity intact, I'd give this one a miss.

Yelp
I come here multiple times a week honestly. I love this market. Let me tell you why. - Produce is always fresh and CLEAN. They have so many varieties of mushrooms it is glorious. - Parking in the garage is validated, so that makes for a very easy shopping experience. - There are never really TOO many people. And even if there are, there are always so many cashiers, I never have to wait long at all to check out. - The meats can be a little pricey but if you pay attention to their quality, you will understand the pricing. - There is a full banchan and hot meals sections. This makes me believe this market is half japanese/half korean. - Thursday-sundays, they serve free samples! The ladies serving the samples are so sweet too. - Actually, all of the staff I've encountered at this market are so sweet and helpful. - They have A LOT of vegan friendly options. I feel like I find something new every time I come to this market. Come here and explored!

Yelp
Lovely Japanese market. Aisles are very clean and they have quite a large variety of specialty products and very fresh seafood and produce. You can find tons of cup noodles or different chocolate candies. Personally, I love grabbing a quick bite from the pre-packed bento boxes or sashimi slices. Recently, I saw a newer packed combo with California rolls and teriyaki chicken, which is a great quick grab and go lunch option! Parking is validated as long as you spent $5 at any of the stores for 1.5 hours.

Yelp
Little Tokyo Market Place is a great market in Little Tokyo on Alameda. There is a free 90-minute parking structure if you spend $5.00 dollars or more, but make sure to get it validated. What's cool about this place is that they do provide senior discounts on Mondays through Wednesdays and they also have a membership program, so that's something worth considering if you come often. I have come here quite a few times and I love that they have some great deals. It's also super cool because it's adjacent to a lot of little stores with Bliss Bakery, a Korean cosmetics store with Nature Republic products, a food court, a place where you can get sushi, and so much more. It's also connected to a bigger mall where there are more stores and restaurants. I love how Little Tokyo is getting more popping lately. My overall rating is 3.5 stars, but not too shabby!
google avatar

Jae H.

Yelp
This Korean market is great. Inside the little tokyo mall and they had everything I was looking for. It's easier for me to go shopping here then travel all the way to Ktown. They also validate parking
google avatar

Inetri B.

Yelp
Racial profiling & discrimination! I paid for a bag of groceries, got validation, and left to store only to be chased in the parking lot by security asking to see my receipt. I refused because why was I, one of few black people in store, being asked to prove I paid. I told the guard that you saw me leave the register and I even got parking validation which can only happen when you make a minimum purchase of $5. He told me the manager instructed him to follow me. So there it is. Sure the produce is decent and lots on sale when they're trying to clear merchandise, but I shouldn't have to deal with racism and being singled out because I'm black. Will never shop there again! Negative stars for unacceptable service and behavior.

JS A.

Yelp
This supermarket has really gone expensive. There are better options in the area. When it was Japanese run, the prices were more reasonable and there was no strong chlorine odor in parts of the store. The size of some pre-packed fresh fish - which is quite expensive per lb, - has increased to push customers to spend more, a very manipulating tactic. When you ask the clerks to cut you a pish of fish in the size you desire, the answer is "we don't have it anymore" and "the manager wants us to cut larger portions"! They also often hide the fruit "damages" with the code stickers. Even when they are not busy, the cashiers refuse to put the scanned merchandise in the bags that you brought and do not expect them to be pleasant. You empty your basket or cart, you handle the payment with the machine, then you pack the purchased merchandise in your bag. If you do not mind purchasing their plastic bags and creating additional plastic pollution, then they will handle the package. Otherwise they just scan your items. Self check-in machines would probably cost much less than those cashiers that do not do much and you would not have to deal with the attitude.

Yelp
I love love love this place. I've been coming here since I could remember. It's my go to spot for all my Asian food items that I need to whip up a amazing dish and my go to spot for ready to eat food. First of all, the sushi at Little Tokyo Sushi is the best of the best. A wide varieties of options of rolls and nigiri. Quality is great as a sushi restaurant. Any purchase comes with a cup of miso soup. Don't skip out on it. With the cold weather kicking in, you'll thank me when your sipping on a hot cup of miso. Best of the best. You got poke, good spot, nothing wrong with it but I've had better. There is a hot food option section. Musubi and all other fried food items are great to grab. Hot and ready to eat. This market has a bakery section. Great to check out and may find something to take home. I love how it's not over sweeten. It's perfect to enjoy with matcha, a coffee, tea or by itself. Amazing seafood and meat selection. Looking for great sushi grade fish and sashimi. This place got it. You got live fish, crabs and all sorts of amazing seafood. They have prepared meats cut up ready for Korean BBQ style cooking and they sell stove for it if you don't have one and if you kinda want to do it yourself at home. Plenty of parking. Even when it's busy, you'll find parking somewhere. Overall, this market is my favorite. Staff are polite and helpful. The atmosphere is welcoming. It's can get pretty busy during lunch rush or evenings. Check it out and stuff to ourself with amazing food! Stay curious and stay hungry!

Yelp
I absolutely love this grocery store!! The organic produce is always fresh and super delicious! I love the fact they have a fishmonger on premises which offers live crabs, lobsters, abalone, clams, oysters to name a few. I believe they steam your crab and/or lobster for free! They have a great selection of Japanese items as well. Within the store, you'll also find a sushi spot, poké stall, bakery, a Japanese kitchen and another which I believe it to be Korean. Anyhow, you can't go wrong with any of those food items within Little Tokyo Market. They validate parking, the service is helpful and the place is kept tidy. I will most definitely continue doing my shopping here...
google avatar

Yelp
Wonderful, fully stocked, great prices. Love going for sushi and random finds. Give it a try.
google avatar

Anny O.

Yelp
I've been here a few times and they always have good deals and sales on certain items. I saw a 20lb bad of Korean rice for only $10! They also have a big selection of organic vegetables. Every time I go, it hasn't been too busy which is nice!

Yelp
My friend and I spotted this market at the end of the mall on the first floor when we left Daiso and wanted to check it out. It's located in a larger mall/center in Little Tokyo area with a mix of shops from Japan and Asian inspired products and restaurants. The market offers a mix of items that include Western, Japanese, and other cultures. They had everything from drinks to fresh fruit, to a few quick service restaurants. My friend and I were looking for waters to purchase before KCON, as the prices on drinks at the Crypto Arena are very high. We found 1.5 liter waters for $1.99 each before the CRV was added in. We also grabbed Sailor Moon drinks after spotting someone else checking out with them. Regardless of what you buy, the cashier will put Paid stickers on them so security and everyone else knows these have been purchased already. Apparently they do validate for the parking structure with the center, but only if you spend a certain amount. We parked on the street but there is a structure associated with the mall.

Yelp
We weren't expecting to come here today but I'm glad we did. It was very hot today and we just came from Urth Caffé and we were on our way to Little Tokyo and we ran across this mall and checked it out. It was cool and nice inside so it was a great way to escape the heat wave outside. It was nice here because it wasn't so crowded and it seemed very low key. There was a Daiso, coffee bean, beard papas, smile hot dog a huge supermarket, and some other miscellaneous stores in the first floor. Most of the second and third floor stores were closed but the ones that were open were miscellaneous and restaurants. There was even a kind of round 1 place called X lanes that wasn't really packed today but I assume it would be during the night. I'm gonna have to come back to check more of the mall out but definitely gonna come back for the supermarket. My girlfriend and I noticed they sold Truff sauce so with that there I assume there's some other things inside we'd be interested in shopping for.

Yelp
Enjoyed exploring this little market in Little Tokyo! Not a very large market but it has a good variety of authentic foods, snacks and drinks to try.
google avatar

Yelp
The women manager is *** it. She is so unkindness and uncomfortable. Not coming back again.
google avatar

Jacky V.

Yelp
I love coming here for groceries. The prices can be a bit high but the variety of what they carry is great. They carry many asian foods and there is also a bakery, poké, and fresh food place as well. I love coming here and browsing each aisle and always leave with a few extra things than what I was coming for. I hate it and love it. Walking in you will also see a shop for glasses and a skincare shop. Fun place to go grocery shopping and when you are done you can also walk out to the little plaza and see other shops that are there. Great place that I enjoy.
google avatar

Vanessa M.

Yelp
Love this store. I come weekly to grab and special ingredients for my ramens or poki bowls. This store is fully stocked, and has an amazing produce selection. Love swinging by the poki bowl or sushi spot inside the store. Poki and prepacked sushi is sooo fresh and delicious! Stag is super friendly and helpful
google avatar

Yelp
False advertising. Today I went to buy some fresh live crab and while there, found my favorite dumplings on sale according to the post on radiokororea's posting. But when I got to the cashier, she insisted that they were not on sale. She'd called someone and then came back(2X)and said those aren't sale items. They needed to be honoring their promise to the consumers when they post advertisement on a platform where thousands of people review prior to coming down to their isolated location.

Yelp
Market manager Lorena shared me her cell phone when I accidentally locked my Tesla vehicle last Saturday, which greatly helped me unlock it by logging into my Tesla account. Even Tesla headquarters did not help me either, and if Lorena had not helped me, last weekend and this week would have been a complete mess. One of Tesla employees even told me that in some cases I have to break the window, so this represents Tesla's ugly level of customer service. I would like to express the fact that Lorena has been more helpful to me than any Tesla employee. How lucky has Little Tokyo Market been to hire employees who serve and help customers in trouble with all her time and heart? Once again, I deeply thank Lorena..!!!

Yelp
Little Tokyo Market Place is a grocery store in the Little Tokyo Galleria and they have more stuff than the little markets I go to in the neighborhood--Nijiya and Marukai. There are some foods in the store and a taiyaki and honey pancake stand outside and Home Bakery is also inside.
google avatar

Claire W.

Yelp
great store, carries mostly japanese and korean products but also has a good selection of american and mexican items as well. the produce section is beautiful and has a massive amount of cheap vegetables to choose from. the entire store is very clean, well organized, well stocked, and overall lovely. they display a lot of their sale items in the middle of the (large) aisles, which helps tremendously when shopping. their plastic shopping bags are reusable. store can be pricy but is certainly worth it!!!

Yelp
I used to come here pretty often because my school was nearby today I came with my family and they bought citron tea jars the employee bagged it in paper bags but put too many in the bag even though it was double bagged it ripped and one jar broke the manager then came and kept telling us we should've used the plastic bag even though we weren't the ones who bagged them they replaced the item but I found it rude how she kept telling us next time to not to use the paper bag

Yelp
I started coming to Little Tokyo Market because they have these huge sashimi platters for a decent prize. They have different sizes and typically they are out on display for pick up. I usually try to call in advance so I can get more fresh sashimi. Just as a note, if you come later in the day, you might get a platter that is a little less fresh. You can definitely share a large one with about 3-4 people. Aside from the sushi, the market has become my new go to place for Japanese snacks (yum!) and other essentials. The market is on the smaller side, but they have all the basics (fresh produce, snacks, fish, meat, etc). They also have pretty good shabu meat. Everything is also decently prized so I do not feel like I am paying an arm and a leg. The market does get a little crowded during peak times, so to avoid the crowd, I would definitely go earlier or later. There is also plenty of parking in the structure (which they validate). There is also limited street parking (but harder to find now that things are opening up).

Yelp
Walked around this supermarket in Little Tokyo today. It's located in Little Tokyo Galleria. I thought it was so awesome that they labeled the vegan options that they had around the store! There were sections for plant based meats, chips, and snacks! They also have a variety of sauces that are vegan friendly, but you have to read the ingredients to determine if they are vegan. They also have a bakery and some restaurants that are located in the market as well. I didn't check if these restaurants had vegan options or not. I definitely will shop here again for their vegan goods.

Yelp
I like the selections there. I usually get my sashimi and meat there. Very fresh. Parking is nice since they have validated parking!

Yelp
=== Pandemic Essential Business === Pre-outbreak this was already one of my clutch grocery stores. I salute all the hard working staff, even those curmudgeonly meat & seafood ajussis. Y'all not only kept us alive in '20; but eating well. Btw glad to see all the folks step up their home chef game since the great ramen hoarding of March. I've seen a lot happen here during the pandemic: agitated shoppers, line cutters, lines snaking from the cashiers to the grocery aisle, and even security squashing an unmasked shopper from entering. How has LTMP evolved from early hysteria bumps? Senior only shopping hour. Hired more cashier staff. Stocking sanitizer and PPE from Korea quickly. Better demarcated lines. Changing the entrance and exits; shoppers funnel into the temperature check kiosk and staff with sanitizer and exit on the other side. Sometimes the parking lot is ticket free (this seems to have stopped now) They have the best wet storage for live seafood in proper-LA. Crabs, lobster, and spot prawns are always great from here. One day maybe I'll try the abalone / geoduck / fish. Do check out their weekly sales flyer http://littletokyomarket.com/web/index.php?mid=board_BwiT48 They have great prices on staples regularly!

Yelp
The Little Tokyo marketplace is conveniently located on 4th and Alameda, with a parking structure which is validated when you buy more than $20 worth of groceries. Asian grocery market with lots of stuff you can't find elsewhere, and most of their produce is really high quality, but you still want to look over everything so you don't get any moldy mushrooms or raspberries but I'm always impressed with their quality and hard to find ingredients. Keep in mind since this is an Asian market some "standard" items you might have to go to Ralph's for. They have a great tofu and me so selection, and they have a really good selection of vegan foods both in a vegan section and spread throughout the store. For example, oatly is with the milk products. Their sushi selection is also top notch, and my husband and I like to get rolls and bowls here for lunch on the go. Please keep in mind if the sushi market is open you need to pay at the counter for the sushi separately and then buy your groceries before or after. I tend to get all my groceries, pay for my sushi, and then pay for the groceries. Don't forget to validate your parking!

Yelp
Visiting Little Tokyo Market Place has quickly become our weekend tradition. The store is full of everything! Our favorite thing is stopping to get some fresh macarons as soon as we get inside. It's a fun little treat for the ride back home. They have a great variety of Korean side dishes and fresh items like Spam Musubi. They also have a separate section where you can order hot items like Shrimp Tempura, bowls, plates, etc. We're both training all week so we definitely appreciate their variety of healthy items. They have Simple Mills, Three Wishes, and a ton of items that we usually have to order through Thrive Market or Whole Foods. The produce is excellent as well... we're suckers for their berries and love that they carry golden berries. You can purchase sushi grade salmon, tuna, and anything between. They have a section of packaged nuts, which is one of my favorite areas. We usually grab a couple bags of their Japanese peanuts. I wish I could remember the name of the crackers/chips but there's a pink bag that has a variety and they're delicious. We thought they would last us for the week but we ate them in 2 days! You have to try them out. Tips: - Street parking is usually available just outside of the parking garage on Alameda - The parking garage is incredibly close to the entrance and they'll validate your ticket so bring it with you - Restrooms are on the second floor in the attached mall/shopping center - Daiso shares the same parking garage and it's just next door - Come hungry and grab some to-go snacks for your ride home. You'll thank me later :) Have fun!

Yelp
I love how there was a massive selection of snacks and fresh goods for an affordable price! Was able to grab a whole basket filled with stuff for only $30. Wish I brought for things, will definitely come back for more.

Yelp
Free validated parking if you spend over $5. I love the Covid precautions here. They check your temperature upon entering. This grocery store is always clean no matter the time of day. All of the staff are always friendly and helpful. There's a cute bakery in the store as well as some grab-n-go restaurants. As far as prices, the seafood (less than most places) and the produce are priced decently and of decent quality. I would not get any meat, dairy, bathroom/kitchen, and all other products, here due to the price. Almond milk was almost $8! I would go back for the produce when I'm in the area.

Yelp

Yelp
SASHIMI HERE NOT FRESH Market is located inside the Little Tokyo Plaza w/ Honda-ya and Bearded Papas... It's generally clean and has all the things you're looking for. I usually come for the produce but yesterday I got their sashimi salad bowls and the Uni tray and was grossed out. The fish was NOT FRESH! Some were and some wasn't as I opened the bowl to eat and smelled the funk. The Uni which I've had before here and didn't have a problem with also tasted off and a bit sour. I think the fridge temp was off? When I called to ask if I could bring it back for a refund the korean man (I'm korean so I know he was korean) who answered the phone was short with me and told me to bring it back then hung up on me! RUDE. Why do korean people have such crappy customer service?

Yelp
Used to be Japanese market but now it's more Korean market. One of my friend ordered sashimi combo few months ago and we enjoyed it a lot. Price is reasonable and it was also very fresh. We ordered medium size and it feeds about 3 people. It includes toro, tuna, yellowtail, halibut, uni, abalone, salmon, octopus and salmon roe... My parents loved it so much, i ordered for Thanksgiving and also for my mother's birthday couple days ago. Everything was really good except that yellowtail tasted little fishy... maybe I was little bit sensitive... I also picked up few vegetables and my parents couldn't stop saying how fresh and crisp about them. Overall everything was really good! They even checked everybody's temperature before entering the market. Good job everyone!

Yelp
Great stores and bakeries and restaurants with all manner to Japanese dry goods, bakery goods, groceries and noodle places. A good place for the young Asian American crowd to hang out at night.
