"Backed by Victory Brands, the restaurant group behind Victory Sandwich Bar, Lloyd’s, and S.O.S. Tiki Bar, the design for Little Trouble is styled after the 1982 Sci-Fi movie “Blade Runner” with a touch of the 1986 film “Big Trouble in Little China”. Little Trouble’s iconic neon red and blue sign at the end of the hallway near the entrance to the bar is a popular spot for Instagram photos. Beyond its futuristic decor, Little Trouble is known for strong cocktails using Asian ingredients and spirits and an extensive Japanese whisky selection. Staff at Little Trouble have been given the option to stay on with Victory Brands to work at its other restaurants. In addition to cocktails, Little Trouble also features food from Mushi Ni, the Asian-American comfort food stall run by chefs Tanya Jimenez and Michael Le. Mushi Ni took over the kitchen at Little Trouble in 2020 serving dishes like Tokyo fries, a variety of bao, and tempura fried Oreos." - Beth McKibben

"Victory Brands-backed “Blade Runner” bar Little Trouble and Asian comfort food pop-up Mushi Ni return Tuesday, September 8, to Westside Provisions District after a five-month closure due to the health crisis. The menu at Little Trouble features many of Mushi Ni’s most popular dishes, like the Tokyo fries, its baos, and tempura-fried Oreos, along with dishes exclusive to the Westside Provisions bar, such as lobster rangoon. In addition to limited dine-in service, Mushi Ni is also offering takeout from the bar at Little Trouble. Several tables have been removed in the dining room to allow for proper social distancing, and the sliding doors in the dining room and at the bar will be left open to allow fresh air to circulate. Patrons at Little Trouble are required to wear masks if not seated at a table or actively eating and drinking. “Jamestown, our landlord, has graciously offered us a patio space on the back deck (above our dining room,) so customers will also be able to place orders at the bar, grab a number, and seat themselves outside,” says Victory Brands owner Ian Jones. “There will be no seating directly at the bar, but there are a few tables in the bar area available for those who want to be near the action.” To keep capacity and crowds under control, no one is permitted to stand at the bar and must be seated at a table. Prior to the pandemic shutdown, Victory Brands was in the process of transforming the bar and dining room at Little Trouble into an analog listening room and Japanese-style record bar. With the health crisis expected to continue for months in Atlanta, both will be temporarily housed in the dining area at Little Trouble. “We’ll be regularly playing our favorite records, cassettes, and CDs through an analog, hand-wired rotary mixer and one-off tube amplification, out of enormous, custom-made hi-fi speakers,” Jones says of the record bar. “As things eventually return to normal, we look forward to hosting record releases, listening parties, intimate live performances, and after-parties, featuring our craft booze, Japanese highballs, and Mushi Ni’s killer eats. But for now, we welcome people to safely enjoy a drink, a bite, and some tunes.”" - Beth McKibben

"Little Trouble looks like where Harrison Ford’s Blade Runner character was hiding out between movies wondering, “Am I human or am I replicant?” It’s dark with plenty of neon and makes you feel like you’re in a future where people pay for things by just blinking at each other. Try a sake juice box or one of the yuzu cocktails, and order some Thai-style wings and pork buns." - Sarah Bailey

Drinks and dinner on the west side, we had an amazing time at Little Trouble despite the early hour. Fantastic service, fantastic food at this restaurant that is styled like Blade Runner (the original, not the sequel). Izzy was terrific, thank you! We got the Umami Fries to start and they were delicious. Flavorful, just a little salty and served with a creamy delicious dip. For main, I had the Brisket Drunken Noodles. A big portion and so yummy. Great textures and flavor combination with the pieces of brisket, the crunchy roasted cashews and the soft noodles. I managed to kill the entire bowl with chopsticks it was so good. And for "dessert," the "Wolf and Cub" which was a draft beer with a shot of sake. Pray for my liver, it was quite the hit.

This entire place is a vibe! It's tucked away in the same shopping center as Ormsby. The parking is a deck located right next to it..From the tunnel walking in you feel like you're going to a secret club. To the iconic light wall to the food 🤤🤤 , (I'll attach Description below.) ... A friend and I came here on a Friday night after work. It was crowded but it comes and goes in floods. We sat at the bar. Nick took care of us. He is an amazing mixologist. He made us the best drinks all evening. He was attentive, personable, quick, and thorough, I didn't have an empty water glass once. The bathrooms are clean, unisex. My only complaint would be the seating at the bar needs a foot rest either along the bottom of the bar or on the bottom of the chairs. Even with heels I could not reach the ground which allowed my legs dangled all night and it made it very uncomfortable for posture and back support. So many laughs were shared good food is consumed. I would suggest this place to anyone for a quick bite or drink. I will definitely be back thank you so much for this experience

Always a great spot! Great drinks, tasty snacks and top notch service every time. Update: still great, new menu changes this week. Great additions. Always have at least one zesty pony!

This place was AMAZING, love the ambiance, the drinks were flavorful and strong. for drinks we got 2 of hearts(favorite one), Hotaru, Show and Tell, and Miyabi Highball. Food was delicious we got most of their vegetarian options and everything was perfect. customer service was A1. I would definitely recommend Little Trouble.

Atmosphere is incredible. Food is tapas portions. Had sake and cocktail made with tequila. Brussle Spouts were delicious. Food was great overall. Had excellent service. Bathrooms are unisex so needless to say there was pee on the floor. Definitely going back!

Google
The food from Mushi Ni @ Little Trouble was awful. I'm not sure how the bao can be drenched in multiple sauces that somehow all taste the same, yet the steamed buns were hard and dry. It defies logic. The customer service was just as bad as the food. We were seated at a mini cocktail table that didn't have space for plates. We were not told that the mix and match bao packs were unavailable at dinner. Also, soft drinks are served in 2 ounce highball glasses filled with ice. At $3 per refill, we ended up paying $30 for coke and diet coke, which is atrocious and predatory. $90 for a few sandwiches and sodas is crazy!! Bao is EXPONENTIALLY better at Jinya and in a far less pretentious environment. Save yourself and skip Mushi Ni @ Little Trouble.

Google
Awesome atmosphere with great cocktails and small plates. Service was amazing. Does it packed pretty quickly, so try to get their early since they don't do reservations.

Google
Great drinks. I had the “two of hearts” cocktail because I like sweet drinks. My fiancé had a Wicked Weed Brewing IPA. We tried 5 different baos. All were delicious. We loved the slowed cooked brisket but also the sauces on the pork, chicken and cauliflower baos. The staff is very friendly and we liked the vibes!

Yelp
Last weekend in business and while we had a great time, I do think it was way too dark inside here. I can't imagine having gone for a meal or more than the one time. I did love that it was almost down an alley and it was such a cool set up I wish I would have known about it last year but I am happy we made it before it was closed for good. Also this neon light was cool but not great for photos

Yelp
Visit Little Trouble as an impromptu Tuesday date night. I got there right as it opened so was seated immediately on the lounge side of the restaurant. I love the intimate ambiance which creates such a great date night vibe. Light music, dim lights and smaller tables all contribute to the true lounge feel. My server immediately came by with water and asked for our starter and drink selections. He recommended the Gojira cocktail which I did end up ordering along with the S. Platinum. The Gojira was similar to a ranch water, however had a bit more depth because of the basil syrup and basil leaf garnish. The S. Platinum was delicious, had a great flavor profile and the pandan leaf was a simple but nice garnish. As for food I ordered the Tofu Katsu, MFC Chicken, House Pork Belly, and the Shrimp Baos. I could eat any one of the Baos every day for the rest of my life. Little trouble has perfected the recipe. The Baos buns are perfect little pillows and the tofu, and shrimp were perfect crispy and flavorful. The pork belly is crisp on the edges but perfectly juicy and tender as is the chicken. Seriously if you order nothing else - order the Baos! I ordered the Bao bowl with rice and pork belly. It comes with pickled onions, sweet pickles, pork belly all on a bed of fried rice. A great dish, although I could have done it without the sweet pickles. I also recommend pouring the spicy mayo over this dish for an extra kick of flavor. Lastly I ordered the Umami fries which are perfectly seasoned, crispy and salty. They come with the spicy mayo which complements the seasoning very well. These fries are definitely one of those dishes you keep going back to even if you're full! Overall, for the ambiance, service and quality - I highly recommend you try little trouble! Oh and quick, because they will be closing their doors in August.

Yelp
We came to check out Little Trouble after hearing the news that it would be closing at the end of summer. This had been on my list of places to try for awhile but had never got around to it. We arrived and there was already a wait which was surprising so we put our names down and decided to check out Ormsbys and grab some drinks while we waited. When they called us we walked over and sat us at a really tiny table. One thing to note about this place is that the seating is super awkward unless you're sitting at one of their few regular tables. We ordered two of their highball drinks and their stuffed crab and brisket bao buns and their loaded fries. The crab bao buns weren't that good and didn't taste fresh but, the brisket was actually really good! It was hard to enjoy the ambiance with the awkward setup and seating. Overall, I would say it's a kitchy place to check out once but wouldn't really recommend it as a place I would regularly go to.

Yelp
I always love the vibe of little trouble. You go down a dark cord or with neon lights at the end of it, it's really retro. As soon as you walk down the corridor you have two options. Well they're actually three. You can go to the right and that's where all the table sitting is. You can go to the left and that's where the bar is. Or you can go straight and go up to where there is a patio type of deal. But, it's very dark and dank looking but it's actually very nice and appealing. As you go to the left, you will see a lot of Japanese based liquor products as well as some things that you know, the tried and true. The bars pretty spacious but there still isn't a whole lot of seating there. There are some two top seats on the other side of the room but they're still space. The bartender on the time that I went was pretty good. I asked for a suntory old fashioned. I was going from one building to parking so I just happened to pass by but I figured why waste a chance to get a good old fashioned. And it was actually pretty decent. If you read any of my reviews, you know I hunt down old fashions like Elmer Fudd hunts down bugs bunny. Nothing special, but it was good, the environment was good and the Ambiance was really great as well. The Ambiance is what sells it though actually. Because you can have any place for the bar and tables. But going down very retro dark Corridor to a lit hidden ish bar... that is truly cool.

Yelp
Liked ; Liked ; Liked ; Liked ; Liked ; Liked ; The vibe was nice Soft shell crab Bao was absolutely delicious! Omg soooooooo good! I don't think I've had soft shell crab that I liked as much as this. It was crispy, juicy and chewy.... In a good way. All of the flavors and textures went together so perfectly! I didn't eat much, because we had to wait, my crew had eaten somewhere else.. but I will be back!! Disliked . Disliked . Disliked . Disliked . Disliked . I mean the wait for a table was like 1hr and a half and we waited about that long because we actually waited somewhere else, ate something, then our table was ready.. but it's a small venue and was a Saturday night so I get it..

Yelp
Very very aesthetic. Cool Asian inspired cyber punk 90s anime type of place with Asian inspired drinks containing soju and sake and neon lights. They also serve food and snacks, the fries are very good! Get there early because only one side serves food and there's limited seating and a "suggested" one hour limit. Other side is bad and standing only and is open to all.

Yelp
Ok, what a cute place for date nights or girls night out. It's swanky and a tad dark! We sat at the bar and our bartender was very attentive! The menu changes often I guess because I was looking to try some items that were posted by they weren't on the actual menu. We tried a couple of drinks and I really like the extremely bad men cocktail! Maybe that's my dating issue! Ha!!!! Anyway, we tried a few of the food items and everything was good. I didn't understand the pile of salad greens on top of crab roti but it was still pretty good. The duck leg bao was probably my favorite of all we tried! I'll definitely be going back here!!

Yelp
Went here yesterday with other friends before they officially close. Check ID before you go in and we came a little bit right after they open. No reservations required as well I think they say. The place is cool with they iconic sign greeting you. Bar on one side and sitting area on the right. It's a pleasant place and the waiter's was nice. The food was good but could have a little more kick of seasoning to some dishes but still good. The drinks was pretty nice as well. Some of the reviews was right about the small tables in the area if you sit in the middle so be careful ordering a lot of stuff. It is kinda dark but if you come around they open the window & lighting are fine before it gets dark. I'm glad we came before the joint closing and it's sad it is!

Yelp
We visited Little Trouble on their last night open. The atmosphere reminded us of Bladerunner. The pop dance music was playing a very pleasant level. We were able to have a conversation and still enjoy the tunes playing over the system. Our server took our orders and promptly brought our drinks and food. We had a great time people watching. The food was great. I wish we had known about the place sooner. We took pictures in front of the trademark neon sign on our way out. I look forward to this group opening a new place soon.

Yelp
For me little trouble was one of those restaurants/bars that I always told myself I would go to, and after years I finally made my way there. First off I want to start by saying little trouble is probably one of the most aesthetically pleasing places I've ever been to. From the bright ambient lighting that catches your eye from the entrance/street to the cool futuristic vibe it's such a cool place. I'm disappointed that it took me so check them out. Now the food....I mean, wow! I ordered the chicken nugget, umami fries, pork belly bao, and fried Oreos. Everything tasted absolutely fantastic. No complaints or even suggestions. Little trouble makes for a great place to bring people in from out of town, first date, or looking for great Asian style street food. I am sorry for neglecting you for so long Little trouble. I will be back. You're welcome!!

Brensi M.

Yelp
Went there on a Tuesday evening we walked in through the long entrance which was nice and intriguing. The place was pretty empty only a couple sitting at the bar. The host came and greeted us. The left side was the bar and the right side was the lounge area with tables. We decided to sit at the bar, the bartender was very nice and friendly. He recommended 2 drinks and took his recommendations and the drinks were good. We tried the first 4 baos on the menu the pork, duck, beef and chicken. They were all good as we ate more people started to come in. This is a cool place to chill and eat will definitely come back here on a weekend.

Darryl T.

Yelp
This is a cool venue. It gets very busy but service is really good and food was terrific. Great place to start a weekend night or end it. I would absolutely go back to this place it's a gem.

Jeff M.

Yelp
Excellent bar one of the best in Atlanta. Food and drink menu frequently change so pay attention. Food can be hit or miss depending on what you order but the drinks and atmosphere are the stars of the place. Bartenders are excellent. The highballs are the star but try the other drinks. In the know - oddly had a watermelon aftertaste. The peach really didn't come through. Extremely bad man - refreshing drink. Highly recommend for those that don't like or intimidated by bourbon. You won't taste it. Not much ginger taste to it despite the garnish. Either way this is probably the best drink here. You'll regret not ordering it

Madalyn J.

Yelp
Fun place to come for drinks, but there is usually a wait! It's cute on the inside and has some fun Instagrammable spots. The Parking deck is nearby and not too expensive.

Z'ion M.

Yelp
I've had this saved in my mental note of places to try, and I wasn't disappointed! Thankfully me and my gf visited during a time where it wasn't too busy, but we're seated on a couch facing the entrance and the bar. It was a little bit awkward at first as we were sat right next to a couple (bumping elbows and trying to avoid inconsiderate bag/jacket placement) but we were appreciative that we were able to be seated after a rush slowly trickled in, and only standing room at the bar became available. Bao buns were super good, as I've been craving them for a minute but haven't been satisfied with other places. The brisket was definitely a tad fatty for my liking, but the chicken one made up for it. She tried the soup dumplings, and even being the type to carry salt packets in my purse for moments that lack seasoning/flavor, they were SALTY. Fried Oreos were a cool treat, and the server recommended a drink that wasn't too strong, but had a nice hit. The shrimp is also a good option as between her and I, they came out fast and they went even faster. The ambiance was very underground but still comfortable. The neon lighting was very cool and the only further disappointment was the emphasis on the hour table time. The server was cool, very chill but energetic with good suggestions. It all reminded me of blade runner. Very cool, and I will be back.

Megan Y.

Yelp
I feel like Little Trouble is the type of place where you think it would be fun in theory. In practice, it's a little impractical. The bar itself is not spacious, so you can usually expect a long wait. Most customers just choose to purchase drinks and drink them elsewhere. I'm also not a big fan of the dark mood lighting. It's also quite loud so I find it hard to hear my friends. I was able to sit down once, and ordered one of the rice bowls from the Mushi Ni pop-up. The food was great!! The drinks were STRONG. And the vibes are immaculate - if you haven't taken a photo in front of their wall - does it even count? I do like that it's in Westside Provisions where there are other great businesses, like Jeni's Ice Creams and Ormsby's.

Jordan S.

Yelp
Our first time at Little Trouble went okay. We came around the time they opened so we were sat immediately which was nice. Service was a little slow but not bad. Fun place to hang with friends and grab a bite with some drinks. Don't go if you're looking for a dinner place though just small appetizers. The dumplings were okay and the baos were pretty good. The meat was lacking in a little flavor. Awe also got the chicken skewers (not pictured) and those were amazing!!! all in all definitely give this place a try!

Wen Jin G.

Yelp
love, love, love this spot! the bar calls itself a "neon izakaya" and that's exactly how i'd describe it. it has repurposed shipping containers and neon lights as part of their decor, with the menu featuring izakaya fares with a modern twist. i came here on a weeknight with a friend and it's decently packed. we sat at the bar and were quickly greeted. the menu offers a good selection of interesting cocktails, high-balls, and familiar izakaya bites like grilled chicken skewers. we got the following to try: -in the know: interesting flavor profile, very balanced. -extremely bad man: a super refreshing high-ball with bourbon and ginger/lemon. loved this! -stray tiger: looks like a variation on an Old Fashioned with japanese whiskeys. this was good too. -chicken skewers: nicely cooked where it's slightly charred outside and very juicy on the inside. the rotis were a fun touch. -tokyo fries: crispy on the outside, fluffy potato goodness on the inside. this reminds me of the nori fries from Katana Kitten in NYC's West Village. service was great and it's such a good vibe with good drinks and food to back it up. we do see a lot of ppl here on dates and i can see why. would love to return for sure!

Yelp
Little Trouble is a vibey little spot with great drinks and eats and perfect for a fun date night. My wife and I came here for the first time on a Tuesday night in town on a little staycation. We got seated within 5 minutes, but I could see how it could be difficult to get a table on the weekend or with a larger party as it's decently small. The restaurant is actually split between the alleyway and there's two parts - one with bar and kitchen and the other with additional seating. Aesthetic: As you can see from the photos, the vibes are high with the restaurant looking like something out of Bladerunner or a spot that John Wick would be sprinting through avoiding a marker. It made for a cool, chill experience. I loved the feeling of being tucked away in the alley and thought it brought an exclusive, hidden feel. Food: everything we had was really delicious and I loved the unique combinations and flavors. Fusion is some of my favorite dishes and these didn't disappoint. We each enjoyed a bowl with some Tokyo fries to split and a cocktail as well. I also thought everything was reasonably priced as portions are healthy. Service: Wait staff was clearly very busy, but remained attentive and added to the overall experience as we could tell they truly cared that we were well taken care of. Overall, we loved our experience and I'll definitely be adding it to my list of Westside recommendation.

Yelp
Ever since the pandemic, I've become a homebody and never go out anymore. But since it was my husband's birthday and we had an early dinner, we didn't want to go home quite yet so we decided to get drinks. Our first stop of the night was Little Trouble. We were here purely for drinks, so we asked the hostess if we can sit at the bar. There were 2 other couples sitting at the bar when we arrived around 7 pm. We were greeted by the bartender and gave us water and menu. I opted for the soju highball (I loved this because I'm a fan of sour drinks) and my husband ordered sun soaked (he said tasted like a pina colada) and cross you out (so refreshing and the thyme garnish was that added pizzaz the drink needed). They started getting pretty crowded about an hour later and were putting reserved signs at the bar, so if you want to get a spot to sit, get there early and don't leave hehe.

Jessica W.

Yelp
This place had such a cool vibe! The food and drinks were great. The only thing was that there was a time limit.

Makaila W.

Yelp
Only visited for drinks so far but each time I went the atmosphere was fun! Love the drinks and the service is amazing. The ambience is worth the hype. I can't speak for the food since I haven't had it yet but excited to go back and eat here

Yelp
Little Trouble is one of the coolest bars in Atlanta -- think of it as the lounge where Los Angeles, Tokyo Drift, and neon collide. Great for a date night, especially with all the other cool spots in the area! We arrived to Westside Provisions at 9pm on a Saturday, and were told it would be about a 30 min wait for a table or spot at the bar counter. You can also order from the counter immediately and stand in the open waiting area / hall. We opted to check out Ormsby's while we waited, but got notified that our table was ready within 15 mins! I'd definitely say this is a spot that is bar-first, food-second -- don't come super hungry because the menu and dishes are more snack-oriented than meal portions. It seems like the menu might be smaller than pre-COVID too. FOOD: shared between two people and was perfect for a light dinner! - Tokyo Fries (5/5): Loved the furikake seasoning on top of the fries and the truffle-racha dip was the perfect level of spice and hint of umami. The texture of the fries was also perfect -- they're cut short to make them extra crispy outside! Great size for sharing. - Cauliflower Bang Bang Bao (3/5): The cauliflower was super crisp on the outside and soft on the inside but not falling apart. I wish it had two pieces to fill out the bao a little more, instead of one. I didn't notice spicy aioli, it was a bit sparse! - Bo Kho Brisket Bao (5/5): Yum! Loved this bao - definitely our fav one! There was plenty of meat and it complimented the chili oil perfectly. Great ratio of onion/carrot too. - Lemongrass Pork Belly Bao (4/5): The piece of pork belly we got was super fatty, but otherwise the flavor was fantastic! Loved how the lemongrass came through and thought the aioli was tasty too. DRINKS: - Satin Jacket (4/5): My boyfriend got this drink and liked it. It tasted closer to a traditional, slightly sweet G&T because the lemongrass and cucumber flavors were pretty subtle. - Surf City (5/5): My favorite cocktail of the night! It tasted very sweet and creamy. The matcha was just sprinkled on top, so it wasn't a huge component of the flavor but just added a little depth to each sip. The finish with coconut and pandan was ~fantastic~ and highly recommend to anyone who is a fan of milk tea or calpis! - People Are Strange (4/5): If you're a fan of mezcal this a must! It's like a smokier version of a lychee martini. For me, the mezcal was a little overpowering, but overall really good! - Flip / Reset (5/5): This was my boyfriend's favorite drink of the night and we aren't bourbon people! Really sweet citrus and almost cinnamon-y. Unlike a lot of other things I've had! Our bartender was super nice and helpful even though the bar was busy! Would definitely come back and recommend as part of a fun night out.

Yelp
This is my first time eating here, I've stopped in for drinks before. From start to finish the service was great. We ordered several snacks and really enjoyed them. Everything was super flavorful. The only thing we did not enjoy was the ribs. In fact the waiter told us that they were beef short ribs however they were pork ribs. Unfortunately we don't eat pork and were unable to eat them. Other than that we enjoyed our experience. This is definitely a place that I would go to to start the night off. It has a very nice ambience. There is parking in the garage. It's also a short distance from other restaurants and a couple dessert spots.

Jordan S.

Yelp
10/10! Food was good and flavorful. Service great and I loved the atmosphere. Nice cuisine!

Vanessa D.

Yelp
Cool atmosphere. Got some fried Oreos with Nutella. First time having fried Oreos. Tastes more "fried" than you can taste the Oreos. But super delish still. The Nutella was definitely a must. One of the strictest places when it comes to Covid precautions and I LOVE IT! taking this pandemic seriously. Tables are more than 6 feet apart. Can't even be near bar and drink because you must have mask on at all times except at your table. Preciate that a lot. Tried the "two of hearts". Tasty 10/10 will come back

Aila J.

Yelp
SO. COOL. The vibes are //immaculate//. You're going to like this place if you like East Asian-inspired food/drinks + vaporwave energy. The neon lights complete the aesthetic and the service was super friendly in a young, upbeat hipster way. Tucked in a hallway in Westside Provisions, Little Trouble is a fun and visually appealing place to stop by for drinks and a quick bite. In this visit, I didn't eat any food but had multiple drinks. My partner and I were waiting on our friends so we could meet at the nearby Ormsby's so we decided to check out this place beforehand. We got there near the time it opened, maybe around 6:30/7 PM, and there was no wait. The sitting area (located on the right, while the bar is on the left) was maybe 25% full when we were there and steadily getting more patrons as we drank (it was a Friday evening). There was a time limit to stay as well, although I don't remember if it was 1 or 2 hours. Although we didn't have bites, they looked pretty yummy from what we saw on nearby couples' tables! I was low-key eyeing the MFC nuggets but was way too full to order. The bowls did seem on the pricey end for what they were serving buttt I guess that's expected for the location and ambience of the place. //DRINKS// 1. Surf City - this was our server's #1 recommendation and we both LOVED it! The pandan, coconut, and matcha were wonderfuly complements to the rum/cognac and gave it a milky feeling. It tasted kind of like a spiked milk tea. I'm a big matcha and pandan fan so this one hit all the right spots. 2. All the Secrets - perfect for a sweeter, floral drink. I'm a sucker for anything with elderflower liqueur so of course I had to try this one. I thought they did a good job with this blend as the vodka wasn't overpowering the other flavors but you still could taste a hint of it after mixing. Plus, it looked pretty. 3. People are Strange - I chose this one next because of the lychee flavor, although I'm not sure if it was a liqueur or syrup or juice, etc. This one was fine but the mezcal's smoky flavor was the overwhelming taste which my partner didn't like. So if you don't like a smokey/bitter taste, this isn't for you. I liked it though! It felt like a muted drink with the barest hint of lychee haha. Overall, I thought this place was super cool and loved the vibes/drinks. Definitely will be coming back for the food!

Yelp
Food is really good , and the vibes are great. Gives smaller size , it's not a place to eat a full meal though

Yelp
I have seen that neon sign on IG so many times and always told myself I would visit at some point, do the IG model thing and snap me a pic...well, I have since visited twice and not once have I posed in front of those lights...but I have had several DELISH cocktails that I can gush over! Maybe my third visit is when I will duck lip and peace sign it onto IG. This spot is unique in several ways and has a really cool vibe that starts at the bottom of the steps you go down to enter the long corridor that is illuminated by the now famous neon lights that sit inside of Little Trouble. A lot of folks reference the Blade Runner movie and it is really spot on as LT is futuristic, chic, dingy, dim with a feeling of underground/back alley. It is definitely a place to experience and you feel cool for knowing it exists! It is a fairly small spot that is located on the bottom level of a large multi-use complex on Howell Mill in West Midtown. It shares its home with the likes of Ormsby's, Flower Child, Savannah Bee Company, an apartment complex and a few other shops/eateries. Given its location, there is ample parking whether it be street, valet or the deck. I will say while I have never seen the deck 100% full, I have seen it very close to capacity...so this area gets really packed on the weekends! Once you are pulled down the corridor towards the neons like a moth to a flame, you will more than likely be stopped and carded by the host/ess or security. Once you are past this point you can head the left of the bar or the right for the dining space. The bar is small and only seats around 6 - 8 people and the space itself holds a few tables as well. If you are waiting or being sat for dinner, more than likely you are going to head to the right where there is a decent size dining space with a variety of seating, some of which are very lounge-like and others are normal tables. The dining area also has a stage for a DJ to set up. Each time we have come here it has been for drinks only, so I cannot speak to the food. However, they do have an Asian inspired menu that is heavy on the tapas style choices with a few large plates and some tasty sounding desserts. With that being said, the whole feeling of this place is more appetizer/cocktail, and not so much full blown dinner. But, you do what you do and enjoy it! The specialize in sake based cocktails and pride themselves on the cocktail aspect of drinks and their menu reflects that. They love their whiskey and offer a quite extensive list of Japanese whiskey along with a few state based options as well. I am more of a light liquor fella, so I decided to go for their gin based cocktails on my visits. My first choice was the Satin Jacket which was light and floral in its essence. My partner is a whiskey fan, so they got the Flip/Reset, which apparently is one of the best cocktails they have ever had! I also ventured into a vodka cocktail called the Hotaru, which was tasty and refreshing! I still have a ways to go to work my way through the drink menu, but I have been happy with my choices so far! Oh, and I would be remiss if I did not mention the access to the outside second level patio that they share with a few other local spots. You can access via the stairs that are around the corner from the neon's. While you don't get actual service here, it is a great space that features several patio tables and chairs so you can enjoy your cocktails or to go food outside on those beautiful evenings! Overall, I don't know why it took so long for me to check Little Trouble out, but now that I have, I am super happy I have done so! It is definitely one of those places that I will make sure to recommend for a creative cocktail and cool atmosphere...and of course, I will certainly be back!

Yelp
After 5 years in Atlanta, I FINALLY made it to Little Trouble!! We went on a Tuesday night around 8 and there was absolutely no wait. We were one of maybe 5 parties there? It's definitely inside seating, but feels very open and COVID safe. As the night went on, a few more groups arrived, and by 10 itwas pretty full. Not sure how many people they pack in on the weekends, but on this busy Tuesday, it was certainly socially distant. And there is a good air flow from the open hallway. I didn't try any of the food, but we did have a couple cocktails. I started with the Miyabi highball, which is soju, lime, yuzu, honey, elderflower, cider. it was TART, but refreshing. The server told us that was one of the most popular, so I thought it was a safe bet. It was certainly fun - way more fun than my usual glass of red! My second drink was the Hotaru (vodka, cassis, calamansi, lime, ginger beer). I thought this was a safer bet, as it was essentially a moscow mule. It was delightful and somehow a little orange. Overall, I loved this place. It was comfy and fun. It's dark, it's trendy and it's a good time!

Yelp
The entry way is great for photos. The restaurant itself is very dim, so don't be afraid to use the flash for selfies.

Yelp
I love this spot. Great food that is interesting. Great drinks and ambience. Always recommend.

Yelp
This place has a nice vibe AND great drinks/food. The entrance is slightly hidden so that was cool. Everything is LED so it's really chill. Now, the drink I got. The Miyabi Highball is the best drink I've ever had. It does not taste like alcohol at all since it only has soju, and it tastes like a delicious fruit tea. The bo kho brisket bao was sooo good, I can see why it's so popular. The Tokyo fries were also pretty good. Good price too. I would recommend this place to anyone. I didn't get a full meal since I just came to hang out but it has all the right vibes.

Yelp
Service was pretty fast, only had to wait to be seated for only 7 minutes and got to grab a drink at the bar. I had the duck and fried Oreos both were tasty

Helen N.

Yelp
I was impressed with the unique atmosphere and delicious food. While many of the dishes were outstanding, I did have a slight issue with the duck baos. Although the flavor was good, I found them to be a little dry, which detracted slightly from the overall experience. The brisket bao was also a standout dish, with melt-in-your-mouth tender meat and a fluffy bun. The umami fries had a unique taste to them. I would still highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a unique and enjoyable dining experience in Atlanta.

Yelp
I really enjoyed going to Little Trouble for date night. It's open air restaurant so air flows through the restaurant entrance out the back. The staff was really great. Drinks were good. I tried a few things on the item with my date and nothing disappointed. The ambiance is dark and edgy romantic (led lights, modern decor). They have some good music playing and you can talk to the people around you. Definitely would go back.

Yelp
My love and I went to Little Trouble while he was in town because I am a huge Mushi Ni fan. First, they ARE practicing social distancing with the tables and require you to wear a mask--they also only provide disposable dishes. We got my favorites-- The Tokyo Fries with the Beyond meat and vegan sauce, the shaved Brussels sprouts, and two of the bao options (fried cauliflower and beyond meat). As always everything was delicious. Our waitress was amazing and interacted with us just enough to make sure that we were taken care of, but not too much to the point where we were uncomfortable. All menus are pulled up online from your mobile device, and they also have hand sanitizer. We will definitely be back for a nice, intimate, safe, socially distanced date night.

Yelp
Exceptional service, quickly sat. Great music and aesthetic. Such flavorful dishes and refreshing cocktails. A little hideaway spot in the heart of Midtown. Will totally come back again!

Jenny G.

Yelp
As of Jan 2023 Little Trouble has a Mushi Ni pop-up that has incredible food! The veggie dumplings, the kale chicken bowl, and all the baos (especially the house pork belly) were amazing!! The baos were fluffy and flavorful with a solid amount of filling. Even if you are not coming for the food, the service is great with food and drinks coming out quickly. The music is always cool and the low lighting mixed with neon highlights provide a lowkey, late night atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Cocktail and small bites? More like horrible service and timed dining. I came here for a birthday celebration and my group had to wait over an hour to get seated (which is fine because I understand it was a busy weekend). They told us we would be timed at one hour for the table once we sat down and while this system probably worked for getting only drinks, it was just not ideal for getting small bites. The birthday girl at our table ordered first and didn't get her food until 10 minutes before our hour came up. Most people in our group also didn't get their food till 30-40 mins into our hour, leaving us with no choice but to take our food to-go. We understand that restaurants get busy on the weekends and food usually comes out late but don't time us and rush us out if you can't bring time the food out at a proper time. Our waitress was also extremely rude to us and provided little to no service to our table. When trying to order a sake and a shot drink on the menu (basically a sake bomb), our waitress rudely repeated "it's not a bomb" and hovered over our table so we wouldn't make it into a sake bomb. Personally, this could of been dealt with better if she had just explained that they don't allow sake bombs rather than treating us like we were little children. Overall, while the food was decent and the place had cute interiors, I will not be returning to this bar as my whole group felt rushed to finish eating and were treated badly.

Yelp
Came here for a girls night out and don't remember much so you know it was a good place! Our server was very friendly and attentive and always made sure we had full drinks at our table. I haven't tried the food but it looks delicious so I do plan on coming back! The ambiance was also great and everyone had such good vibes.

Yelp
Very nice as far as ambience! Really cute, love the lighting. This is a great place for a first time date. The food is very light, so it's a great place to socialize and have a few good cocktails. I got the People Are Strange drink.... Highly would not recommend. It has a very potent taste. If you've ever had that strong liquor from Mexico with the scorpion at the bottom of the bottle, this is what that drink taste like with a splash of fruit. The food was pretty good. Wasn't impressed with the chicken teriyaki fries, I think 4 chicken skewers instead of 2 would have been better, just because the chicken on the skewers are so small & you're paying $15 for them. I really liked the dumpling in the cup, the lobster Rangoon was good, it kinda taste like crab though.. I'd come here again & try out some other food options. The waitress said the menu changes once every few months, so honestly I may wait until the menu changes..... ;-) Our bill came up to about $70 Was it worth it? No. Lol Portion size was small, me & my mother split the food. & I left still feeling kinda hungry for 70 bucks. Sorry. I'm a real good critic. I also didn't like how the fries were curly fries. Seemed a bit cheap. I was really excited to come here, one thing to note is everything seen on Yelp is not on the menu. So I was a little thrown off by that. Like I said. I'd definitely come back, not sure when lol but I'll come back.

Yelp
Before getting to this restaurant/bar, you have to have your ID at the outside door. The hostess wasn't the brightest. When you see that a patron is clearly wondering what the process is here, you should explain it before asking tons of questions. Then once your potential customer says that they'll be drinking and eating, you should actually listen. After we've already told you our intentions, questioning again on whether we are going to eat after we told you were doing both pisses me off! Do I need to ask for permission to eat here? Do I need to consult with the hostess as to what I'm doing first or the order of my business? What the hell is going on here?? Never interested in going back just because of the hostess. Get your act together! Aside from that terrible first interaction, the bar was actually fun and the bartenders were fun and interactive. Drinks were ok. Food was decent although they tried to charge us for the people that sat next to each other.

Yelp
My friends and I came at 7p on a Friday and we were able to be seated immediately. Our server was amazing and our food and drinks quickly arrived at our table. The Baos, loaded fries, and MFC nuggets were amazing. I had a Sake juice box - Nihon Sakari, and my friends both got Stray Tiger and loved it. The only reason I give 4/5 stars is due to the timed seating. 1 hour to enjoy the restaurant, order drinks and food don't seem long enough. Other restaurants I've been to with timed seating offer at least 2 hours. Nonetheless, it was a great experience and I'd definitely go back.

Yelp
We came when we heard the restaurant is closing. I've seen mixed reviews so I wasn't sure what to expect. The atmosphere was great. Beautiful neon lighting and a trendy seating style. However, we came in a large group and I don't recommend it. We were crammed into the couches with the low tables because they said we couldn't get a table even though that's what we were promised. The food and drinks were so-so and not worth the high prices.

Eric L.

Yelp
Wrong place, don't know how to delete. Will give 5 stars. Farewell :) This place looks quite cool though!

Catera W.

Yelp
It can get really busy here on the weekend. Seating at the bar is limited so there is a waitlist.

Miss B.

Yelp
Great service and fun atmosphere! Got seated pretty quickly after about a 10-15 min wait on a Friday around 11 pm. Nice drinks and amazing food! Highly recommend the fries.
